Bandai Adds Hidden Tamagotchi Uni Power Off Button
We’ve you been asking, and Bandai has been listening. In a recent software update, Bandai has quietly added a power off button on the Tamagotchi Uni, after hearing the outcry for there no being one upon the initial release. How do you access it? You need to reset the device by pressing the reset button on the back of the Tamagotchi Uni, and then hold down “A” + “C” buttons while booting, you will then see options for continue, reset all, restore version, and off. How cute that they added a Tamagotchi icon next to the off option?
Selecting the off button will power off the device! To power the device back on, you’ll need to hold the “B" button down for 5 seconds. Upon powering on, you’ll want to select “Continue” to restore all of your content.
We even booted up another Tamagotchi Uni that we did not update, it’s actually running the original software, version 1.0. Trying the same trick does NOT display any further option then continue and reset. So we’re not entirely sure which software update added this new feature.
It’s interesting that this feature is nested in this boot menu, and not accessible in the main menu when booted into the Tamagotchi Uni interface. This gives us so much hope that this could one day be added, but perhaps Bandai does not wish to add it to the main menu due to the desired gameplay.

we had a fire drill at my school today
usually the school counselor is supposed to come get me early because of my 504 and other accommodations that i have
but apparently they don't actually care to help the disabled students if it's not a physical disability
so guess who was completely ✨shut down and nonverbal✨ for the rest of the school day and up until just now

I can’t say that I’m surprised, or that I care, about the announcement that Tumblr might be closing its doors soon. When this site refused to back down on its adult content ban, I promised I’d dance on its grave the day it died. The day Yahoo was forced to sell this place at an unimaginable loss, I cheered; and frankly, my feelings haven’t changed in the slightest. It’ll be a shame to watch the mutuals, friends, and community I’ve built here, crash and burn, but tbh, after years of staff disproportionately flagging queer and trans content, and a refusal to even remotely lift the ban preventing artists from coming back, I can’t say I’ll exactly miss this place once it’s gone.

I really dislike how my body reacts when i get sensory overloaded or start to shut down. The way I react to is;
I get really tired and feel very sleepy.
My head starts to feel really heavy.
I can't concentrate on anything around me. I'm more likely make mistakes in what i'm currently doing. Kind of like loosing my skills.
I get sensory overloaded really easily.
I'm more likely to snap, yell and get angry with people around me.. even if i don't mean to.
I can feel my body heating up and i start to feel clammy (esp. when i'm driving)
..... and probably more which i haven't caught up on yet. My best way to cope with it, is getting away from the situation. However that's not always an option, so i always have my noise cancelling headphones with me.
How does your body react to becoming sensory overloaded?
