We all are Funambulists

Take a moment to go down the memory lane. Bring to mind, those little children or even men or women, who walk on tight ropes and win applauses for their act of balancing; whom we call the Funambulists. Difficult though, but how perfectly they master this acrobat.
In a way, we all are Funambulists too; living our lives perfecting the art of balancing. Fearing, that a little imbalance would wreak havoc on our lives. But the question on my mind today is – Is it actually the art of balancing or the art of managing imbalances that we need to learn? A Funambulist, does not only masters the ‘ACT’ of balance, in fact, masters the ‘ART’ of managing imbalance that may take place while performing.
There is a hairline difference between the two, but they are still interdependent. The former is a skill that we learn and implement but the latter is that skill that we bring forth from our own wisdom. That’s why, the former is an ACT while the latter is an ART that mostly we learn on our own. No matter how perfectly I balance my life daily, If I don’t prepare myself for the little imbalance that can sneak in anytime, I will fail. And failure here doesn’t mean non-success but it means non-fulfillment, lack of peace, lack of harmony and above all lack of Happiness. So, why not make mistakes and learn to correct them, why not fall down so that we learn to pick ourselves up, why not lose so that we learn to win. Why not be that Funambulist who performs for himself, masters the ART of IMBALANCE and applauds for his own self. We definitely don’t need an audience, as we are our own. Let’s not master perfection, Let’s master Imperfection.
