Sometimes her scars look so absolutely intense. I can’t imagine how that must have felt as a kid. And how horrified Sigurd was when he found her. And how Svala probably found a way to keep her alive because ya know…. Isu memories and we all know she passed on said knowledge as best she could to Valka for her to care for wounds in the same way.

But anyway, that must have been a horrible, super traumatizing situation for Eivor and for her people seeing her so wounded. 😢

someone probably said this before but siege of paris is a great DLC and, to me, feels the most like classic assassin's creed out of pretty much everything we got these past few years. The assassination events are fun and mechanics like the rebels are a cool throwback to the missions we had in brotherhood and revelations!! It really showcases the potential that Valhalla had as a game and how it kinda failed to meet it. It makes me a little bit sad to think abt it

I am Heba, 23 years old, and Adam is my youngest brother, we are a family of 10 individuals, including parents and children, one of them is married and has a daughter. The fundraiser is my aunt who lives in Belgium.

In the early days of the war, most family members were injured as we tried to escape the intense bombing that hit our area, which resulted in the destruction of our home and car.

Thankfully, the injuries were minor to moderate, except for my father who suffers from significant damage to his hand and still needs an urgent procedure that can’t be done in Gaza.

My niece, Sara, who is a year and three months old, was injured in the head and hand.

My youngest brother, Adam, who suffers from cerebral palsy (we face difficulty in obtaining his chronic medications in Gaza), sustained minor injuries.

We were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital and stayed there for a month before evacuating to Khan Yunis and later to Rafah in search of a safe place.

Our family is in pursuit of stability, striving to rebuild a new life amidst the ruins. The destruction has also impacted our family's means of livelihood, which gave us no other choice but to evacuate from Gaza. Your assistance is sincerely appreciated as we want to stay save and save our lives.

Why do we need this money and how will it be used:

Passing Rafah Border: 5000 for each person to pass Rafah border, which we will pay them for Ya Hala company: 10x5000= 50000

My father's treatment: My father needs around 5000 for surgeries, treatment, and physical therapy, he needs neurological surgery and cosmetic surgery, which will be made in Egypt.

Adam's treatment: 5000 Adam needs physical therapy because his condition got worsen due to lack of therapy during war, a new wheelchair, and doctor appointments.

Talking to a non-french about current events in France: Oh yeah, right now the french farmers are very unhappy about some laws and taxes, so they're protesting by doing a... what's the word for this in english? Oh! A siege. Yes, they're sieging Paris.

Them: I— It's... I don't think that's the right word. A siege is like, an army surrounding a castle or a city.

Me: Yeah yeah, that's it! They cut any access to the biggest highways around Paris with tractors and haystacks. I think they also intercepted some trucks with farm products from other countries and gave the products to charity, so they could protest against their work conditions and how little they're being paid.

Them: Oh my god! Is this a civil war?

Me: What? Of course not!

ouch. good on sam for standing up for himself. i don't... really remember that dynamic being so black and white back then, but there's so many episodes and so much happening who knows.

pleasantly surprised how they did this, and how she played it. kind of poking fun at herself but nothing over the top.

something that bugs me, but also i understand, but continues to bug me is how everyone is placing the blame on sam for starting the apocalypse. he played a part, that he was manipulated and tricked into, and the powers that be wanted it to happen and didn't do anything to stop it. if we're gonna place the blame on sam like this, then it should equally placed on dean for breaking the first seal. i don't think either is fair. it was a systemic thing that lead to those events coming to pass, the individuals being forced into playing certain parts. anyway. it feels like every turn it's like well SOMEONE STARTED THE APOCALYPSE and yeah, okay, but also, no. :p

LESHI And this belonged to him. Didn't it? Poor little Dean. All you ever wanted was to be loved by your idol. One distant father figure, coming right up.

SAM Dude. You just got whaled on by Paris Hilton!

DEAN Point is, I was so worried about watching your every move that I didn't see what it was actually doing to you. So, for that I'm sorry.
