Snares are traps, most often made of wire, that are set out by poachers to catch animals for the illegal bushmeat trade. While many animals caught in snares are used for food, many others will be left to rot or be so severely wounded they cannot feed or hunt, and as a result will die. I can not help but feel that my own country has been caught in a snare. For anyone feeling overwhelmed, this is exactly the moment to get to work.
