Unfortunately the inherent flaw of any successful public health/harm reduction campaign is that after the issue is under control/eliminated then the campaign itself starts to seem stupid and unnecessary. Especially in retrospect by people who do not remember The Before.

Puukko usually isn't one for labels and doesn't really understand them. Since she's sort of a self insert that I made into her own character, it's safe to say she's possibly some flavor of trans and some flavor of lesbian, but I also don't really do labels soooo and I feel labels don't really suit her. The general rule is she's a woman who likes women primarily, but she's not against the idea of being with someone who's not a woman, she just shows a clear preference. and as far as her own gender identity or assigned gender at birth? Well, that's a little bowl of secrets for me 👍✨️ what's in her pants? Well, she hasn't got any! Least not since her pirate days anyway. getting a sense for how far the "wearing a belt over pants that have suspender buttons but not beltloops" look extends across cinematic depictions of down-at-heel anti-heroes. it first really came to my notice in angel heart, of course. feels like a good visual metaphor for being a guy who doesn't quite fit into society's norms. living outside the loop.
