Cybertronian Liminal spaces ideas: TFP

Tunnels (thru Mts, under cities, etc.)

Red Sand Deserts (Rust Sea Similarities)

Large Scale Industrial Sectors (Think big, automated assembly lines; Similar to their factories)

I also feel like truly gigantic cities (Lots of skyscrapers; similar to their cityscapes) would be similar enough to evoke a sense of nostalgia.

Cybertronian Specific Places:

OP - Libraries (the bigger the more nostalgic he gets) and Rome, b/c of the Collusium (I imagine it reminds him of Kaons Arena)

Megs - Rome (Same as OP), Empty Mines, and ruined Forts (even tho their forts 100% looked different, our ruins still give the same effect)

Ratch - Colleges (Academy Days, specifically the long, winding trails from one building to another), Hospital Corridors (If he has a holoform) and Oddly enough, Victorian Houses. Old and creaky, reminiscent of an old era.

Star - The Buj Kalifa (Vosian Remenicent). Sometimes Specific weather patterns, like Hailstorms or Freezing Rain, remind him of the stinging Acid rain of Cybertron. He hates Blizzards too.

Bulk - Construction sites get him. Rome as well (architecture in general, really).

Sounders - Rome, Government Buildings (specifically, the twisting hallways some important buildings have) and castles/forts.

Arcee - Tunnels, Ravines (I imagine she hid a lot on cybertron, cracks in cybs exoplates would be similar to ravines), and old houses (dilapidated buildings, slowly rotting away; similar to one specific spider incident.

KO - Raceways (obv), but also airports (hanger bays specifically) and large scale paint factories. Also, Buj Kalifa (HC that KO is a Grounded Seeker, explaining SS comment in TFP). Maybe medical tents as well? He was a front line medic after all.

Bee - Rocky mountain roads (scouting), ruins like Stonehenge, and ghost towns. Places where life has been destroyed. Also, war ravaged cities and mysterious old paths through the trees.

BD - Similar to Bulk, but add Mines and industrial buildings too.

Smokey - Libraries (not to the same extent as OP tho), old ruins, and abandoned junkyards (similar effect to the transport ship) I also HC that the escape pod made him pretty Claustrophobic. So small spaces are a no go.

Shockers - Labs, research buildings, but also government buildings (Senator days) and hospitals (too pristine/white a room; he slightly panics) HC that Shockers hates the color white with a dying passion.

Jackie - Labs as well, but also hanger bays and random bars get him too. (HC that he basically found Seaspray in a galactic bar.)

Dread/Quake - Old English/French architecture and Rome

Mags - Government buildings, Libraries (somewhat), but mainly offices and conference rooms get this guy.

Arachnid - Dug out Tunnels (insecticon hives), fancy buildings (Senete esch enough; similar to all her targets homes), and out-of-the-way villages (similar to other organic planets easiest targets)

I think that basically everyone (everyone important I think? Cliffs dead so I didn't include him lol).

HOOOOLY FUCK man you put a LOT of thought into this, this is so cool. The bit about lifeless or decayed places igniting that kinda nostalgia in Bee is actually really sad if you think about it.

Man now I wanna see an episode where a relic is found near the remains of the colosseum, and it has a lot of bots on edge.

I feel like the cities with big reflective or iridescent skyscrapers are spot on, especially in the flashbacks. To add to city scenes, in the flashbacks they had huge streets and ramps and freeways that looked a lot like ours too! (Unless I’m remembering wrong and I’m just nuts)

Favorite place in the world you’ve visited?

Mt. Etna. When I was little (like, 3rd grade) we lived in Sicily, and one winter my brother and I wanted desperately to play in the snow, but it hadn't snowed where we lived in a long time. So we took a drive up Etna until we saw snow, where we stopped and spent the day playing around in it. (It was later that there was a horrible eruption that caused a bad earthquake where we lived, but I sleep like Nixon so I was dead to the world throughout the event.)

Something you’re proud of yourself for?

Making it through fire academy. Other than playing basketball one year in childhood I had never been very athletic, but I was out there doing bleacher runs, blackout drills, and climbing ladders to drag giant hoses to the top of buildings with the rest of them. I'm driven by the desire to not make an ass out of myself in front of others, and somehow I was able to do all those things, and ultimately participate in a live burn at the end of the program.

Favorite books?

Making my way through the books written by and about the troopers, so I gotta go with Band of Brothers. But my other favorites are anything by Kurt Vonnegut, the Dark Tower series, the Black Company series, Les Miserables, Moby Dick, Practical Demonkeeping (and almost anything by Christopher Moore), Hitchhiker's Guide...I'm sure I'm leaving some out, I love to read (Dick Tracy and Flash Gordon mostly...I couldn't resist).

Something that makes your heart happy when thinking about it?

.........band of brothers. Specifically my background characters. Specifically Smokey and McClung.

Favorite thing about your culture? About being American?

When did you join the HBO War fandom? What was the first show you watched?

It was a long road.......it came out when my family was stationed in Japan, so I didn't really know about it until I moved back. Streaming wasn't a thing then, so I would catch parts here and there, and I eventually figured I had seen the whole thing. Spent a long time thinking that people overreacted to it and that it was overrated. But I'm also leaving out one thing: that I am stupid. Figured my sister would appreciate having seen it, and suggested we watch it. I realized at the end of the first episode just how stupid I am.

Have you read any of Easy Company’s books? If so, which ones were your favorite?

I have a growing collection, but work often gets in the way. I've only read Ambrose's Band of Brothers. I've also read the Smokey portion of A Company of Heroes by Marcus Brotherton.

Favorite HBO War character and your favorite moment with them?

Have I mentioned how much I love Smokey yet.... One of his best moments (I think) is when he meets with Roe in Bastogne in his foxhole and gives him the morphine, tells him where to find scissors, and about Toye's boots.

Also McClung. And I love "ask him to dance, doc." The battle on the outskirts of Carentan has to be one of my favorite parts of the series though.

Do you make content for any fandoms, if so; what sort of content?

Just some gifs so far. I do like to write, but I've never dabbled in fanfiction.

Favorite actor/actress and your favorite film of theirs?

Russell Crowe and Michael Fassbender are the ones where I'll pretty much watch anything as long as one of them is in it, even if it's bad (like Jonah Hex...horrible movie, but worth it to see Fassbender's little villain character doing his little tee-hee leprechaun laugh through all his scenes). I'll also watch almost anything with Emily Blunt, she is fantastic and a hilarious human being.

Favorite quote/s that you wish to share with others?

So many by Kurt Vonnegut, but I'll just put two:

Do you like horror movies?

Yup. 28 Days Later is up there in my favorites. The Descent is an EXCELLENT horror movie for anyone that hasn't seen it (and has made it this far down my rambling answers). Ravenous isn't very well known, and it's not perfect, but it's fun and weird. Stir of Echoes is an unconventional horror movie, but an excellent one-off story. Slither is a fun one with a decent cast (Elizabeth Banks, Nathan Fillion, Michael Rooker, among others).

Bit of a slow week, mainly re-reading things and changing words and dialogues, and also just getting wrapped up in TOO MANY new ideas, and have also become obsessed with cooking again lol

Been having fun working on the lil bittersweet Niko/Tatjana piece/chapter(??) and mainly working on putting together a playlist, which works great for Music Monday! :D So as tradition, my indecisive ass will plop a few songs I've been listening to while writing this chapter(?) since I can never choose just one!

"Where is Ljubica?" he inquired amid the gentle hum of boiling water. Tatjana peered at the small clock nestled among memories before letting out a tender laugh: "The nights young, she could be anywhere." She sighed deeply: "She says it calms her, biking around." She returned bearing steaming tea and retrieved a cigarette from the rickety table beside her.

"Is she always out in the city?" Niko asked as he gazed out through rain-streaked windowpanes; seeds of worry beginning to grow. "Out on that bicycle? Even in this weather?" He sought her reasonings amid the storm.

Wearily, Tatjana shrugged. "It's been hard for her lately, I don't always understand what goes on in her head." she confessed, failing to ignite her cigarette, the flame of life long extinguished. In frustration, she flung the lighter to the floor while cascading blonde hair shrouded a ghostly visage mourning the loss of what once was. The weight of longing settled over them both; tracing tender aches and sorrows that, like rain-laden clouds, held within them the potential to nourish in time.

From the depths of Tatjana's introspective chasm, the forsaken cigarette found solace upon her lips – Niko, the tender guardian, bending to her side, taming her locks, and igniting her reprieve with his Zippo's flame. A whispered "I'm sorry." echoed through chambers of remorse and longing for a time that once was. Drawing from those hallowed memories, he claimed his own smoky respite and joined her at the border of reverie.

Her touch – a whisper of connection against Niko's hardened hand – beckoned him to share in their silent symphony. "Niko," she breathed between puffs of clouded smoke, "Eventually you need to stop apologizing to me." Her thumb traced canyons of scars and battles won in the tales their hands told. The quiet hung heavy around them, masking an unyielding bond in tension's weighted grasp.

"I've ruined you," Niko confessed, eyes raw with unshed tears, "It’s my fault Dragan died, I failed to keep you safe, sent you and Ljubica across the world alone" As crystalline pain threatened to overflow from Tatjana's eyes, she spoke his name, but he pressed onwards: "I’m empty."

"Nikola," Her firm tone belied the tenderness beneath. "You can't keep doing this to me." Fingers tapped ash to oblivion whilst another breath drew a deep smokey inhale.

As Niko gazed upon her fractured countenance from beneath shame-streaked lashes. "Though I love you," she trembled before the bittersweet tide threatening to overtake her voice, "I cannot fix everything that is wrong with you, in your soul."

TFP Quirk AU are there any pro heroes aside from All Might who would like to work with team Prime?

Does Endeavor accept these alien strangers...?

It kind of depends whether I decide whether the Autobots secret is out to the public or if it's kept among a certain number if hero's.

But I imagine a lot of the U.A staff willing to offer there support on behalf of Nedzu and All-Might. Both in combat or helping assemble bases or repair area in the Autobots main hideout.

Thirteen would love to learn more about Cybertronian culture and her Quirk "Black-hole" makes for a good deffense when helping the Autobots. Optimus is quick to indulge them when they have a chance. During cleaning duty the bots will often ask

Ectoplasm quirk is great for overwhelming Vehicons by surprise with his super move "Giant Bite Detention" , but though only a small number though and for a short time depending how quickly the Decepticons can use their blasters to break through. Admittedly, Bulkhead finds his quirk a bit creepy and has once or twice been caught up in friendly fire😅

Snipe quirk "Homing" is especially helpful for attacking Decepticons long range attacks and Ratchet actually makes him modified weapons so he can fire powerful ammo at enemy bots. Arcee, Bumblebee, and the hero actually have shooting competitions.

Power Loader had a huge love of cars in general so is an instant fan of the Autobots. He actually helps repair and modify the bots base by developing new rooms and general space. He helps Ratchet develop weapons and tech. Even maintaining the groundbridge.

Cementoss is a great ally to have during inner city battles and has helped the Autobots more than once against the Decepticons. Ether manipulating cement to use against the cons or making bridges or tunnels for quick getaways. He sometimes discusses lesson plans with Optimus for his Modern Literature class.

Ms.Midnight quirk unfortunately can't help with Decepticon related battles, but does prove her worth when faced with any of the Autobots human enemies like Mech. She sometimes flirts with some of the bots just for fun, just to see the confused and flustered looks on their face.

Present Mic has a lot of fun with the bots, especially Bumblebee, Bulkhead, and Smokescreen. Jamming out to rock music and enjoying radio shows. The younger bots think Present Mic is so cool, sometimes the hero gives special shutouts to his friends "B.B" and "Smokey"!

There were some bots that did keep their distant from the bots like Hound Dog, Vlad King, and Erasure Head. But their courteous and work with the Autobots professionally.

There a lot better than Endeavour.

The flame hero remains especially suspicious and distrustful of the Autobots. Blaming them for the arrival of the Decepticons and annoyed that the government plus Nedzu were so open to help and support them. To be honest he kind of fears them, beings who were clearly stronger than him.

But what really infuriates him is how close to All-Might these giants aliens were, the idiot muscle head practically campaigning that they open earth to these unknown creatures. Especially when they probably don't know their true intentions.

This might change when he becomes the #1 Hero but until then don't expect him to like these metal monsters.

Other hero's the bots might interact with are ones that could reach their own size are Ryukyu, MT. Lady, and Godzillo.

The Ida family are a favorite as well, with the former Ingenium, Ida Tensei having fun racing with the younger bots and occasionally Arcee.

There's people out there risking their lives on Mt. Silver and she's sat here just... Trying to figure out a way that would be useful.

Aside from meandering around Saffron and quelling the occasional panicked group of spectators, she didn't have any kind of legendary pokemon, nor any pokemon that could handle radiation well, so she was left to sit and watch while the bigger heroes did the work.

She knew that not everyone was able to play the big damn hero- But damn if it didn't make her feel anxious, sitting on her hands just waiting for something to happen... Unable to do anything of substance.

The weird Altaria's were new, though, and she swore she saw something smokey and whispy streak across the sky after the eruption, but... Then again, maybe she was just hallucinating from the panic in the moment.

Best to focus on what she COULD handle, she supposed... Any immediate threats around saffron.

In your opinion where is the most beautiful place on earth?

Oh, there's no way to pick just one.

I can only speak to the places I've seen with my own eyes, but as far as nature is concerned: Alaska, the Grand Canyon, the Smokey Mountains, Yellowstone, Monterey Bay at sunset, the Badlands, New England in the fall, the Keys, Mt Rainier...I could go on and on.

There are beauty in cities too; albeit in different ways. The vibes and atmosphere of New Orleans, the...largeness of NYC, the architecture of Chicago and Boston, the dramatic backdrop of the Rockies in Denver, the Ben Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, the River Walk in San Antonio, the quaint squares of Savannah, the pristine desert vibes in Palm Springs...

Seriously, I could go on and on and on lol.
