This would definitely be Talltale Chara post corruption tho, because ain’t no way in heck they’d be that standoffish before everything lol. Talltale Chara before everything was an extremely shy and timid kid for context. After their corruption, they’d still be shy and timid, but they’d also be much more prone to sarcasm and a lot of other pessimistic behavior due to everything the poor kid went through lol

He'd thought he was just minding his own business, doing his own thing when he heard the footsteps approaching but what he wasn't expecting was to feel a hand close at the back of his neck. It was scent more than sight that told him who was behind him.

"H-Hey! Ban?! What the hell? Put me down! Ban!"

Squirming in the grip, Maru scrabbled at the hand that held him and tried to reach back to pry the fingers off him to no avail at the same time as something inside him urged him to stop fighting and just... hang there.

He fought that feeling as he was unceremoniously carted off.

"Did I do something wrong? Did I forget something? Where are we going? Ban, answer me!"
