I just someone make this take trying to dismiss the importance of Ruby and Sapgire wedding;

“Ruby and sapphire are side charecters. Think how much more meaningful that would have been if it was an actual set of main charecters that actually had an impact on the story cause they stayed around so much.”

Like seriously? Side characters? Come on now. They have multiple episodes dedicated to them which explores their relationship, Ruby and Sapphire are one of the most important and iconic characters of Su.

People saying this ^, or literally anyone trying to dismiss SU's queer rep as not valid for some reason or another, they just haven't watched su. No reasonable person would watch that show and conclude that ruby and sapphire were 'side characters'. If you wanted to say that the protagonist wasn't in a gay relationship i'd understand, but otherwise, you're just objectively wrong.
