There were so many good ones, but this tiny little tidbit was my very fave of the whole book, and it was even worse because it was such a small but beautiful thing in the midst of a terrible and chaotic moment.

And then I had a legit opportunity literally the next day to quote it, when someone was trying to express the exact same sentiment about someone in real life and was struggling to find the right words. It was a small thing but a crazy coincidence and blew my mind but made me so happy lol.

MAGNFICO AND ASHA STORYBOARD WIP

Here you go, a general idea of what they are saying:

This is the recreation/reimagine of "I DECIDE WHAT EVERYONE DESERVES" scene

You know, this scene:

My original draft was much more "on the nose" so to speak, so I fixed the script and added more dyamics between the characters.

Plus instead of it just Magnifico intimidating Asha, Amaya is there too. Not yet obv, but she will be!

And you may notice the guard that enters the room. And you may be like: Does the guards know what happens to the wishes??

And my answer to you is that yes they do, but they aren't allowed to speak about it or else....well lets say that their families and themselves would be in grave danger. We don't want anything bad happening to them now do we?

Okay lets talk about the designs.

For Starters, you can see Asha is more "formal" so to speak.

Her design is right here:

(I couldn't do anatomy yesterday, so porpotions are off by a large margin lmao)

Her outfit I might have to fix later when I move it to digital when I am done with it, but her outfit is still more flowy and doesn't way her down since SHE IS A YOUNG SORCERERR AND NEEDS MORE MOVEMENT (even though she can't do magic but I won't talk about it here). You also might read the outfit that says "Outfit that resides with "common folk". What I mean by that, is that she changes outfits when she changes her loyalty and support. The princess dress is her siding with her parents while the "common folk" outfit resides with her support and love for the people of Rosas (the colors are more sunrise theme for that outfit too).

And to show Magnifico's full design, its right here:

The sharp edges on Magnifico represent the thorns of a rose, since you know...ROSAS. And I'm thinking that they are less sharp but when he reveals his true colors, the thorns get more sharper until he goes just as insane as his wifu. He also doesn't wear a crown because he loves his hair way to much 💀

I haven't designed Amaya yet and they aren't final drafts so to speak, more of an idea dump.

“Love?” James asked as he knocked on the bathroom door. Regulus had locked himself in his dorm bathroom after James had confronted him the halls. James knew something was wrong with his boyfriend. He had completely shut himself off and would barely talk to James. James had spent the last week trying to coax a smile out of his boyfriend since they had returned to school after break. A long painful week of regulus barely acknowledging James, who thought it had to have been his fault and spent the week profusely apologizing and begging regulus to talk to him, but regulus continued to shut him out.

“I know you’re in there love, please let me in” James begged and when he got no response he used his wand to unlock the door and let himself in. Regulus was sitting on the floor with his head buried in his hands against his knees. “Reg just please tell me what’s wrong, let me fix it please. James whispers, reaching out to lay his hand on regulus. “You can’t fix this!” He yells, abruptly standing straight up. “You can’t fix me!” “I don’t want to fix you, I want to help you!” James pleaded, slightly raising his voice.

“I know you’re used to being the goddamn hero and fixing everyone’s problems but you can’t James! I’m the villain in our story. I don’t get to be with the hero. I don’t get a happy ending!” Regulus sobbed as he yanked his sleeve up revealing the dark mark tattooed on his forearm. James breathed hitched in his throat. There were angry red scratches surrounding the mark as if regulus had tried to scratch it off. “Oh baby” James whispered with tears in his eyes as his boyfriend sunk back to the floor.

“Please just leave, rip off the bandaid James. Don’t make it harder than it has to be” regulus sniffled as his wiped his nose on his sleeve. James sunk to the floor next to him and gently grabbed his arm. Regulus eyed him, concerned, as James brought his arm to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on Regulus’ irritated skin. “I am not going anywhere baby. This isn’t your fault. You are not the villain, I don’t want to fix you. I want to help you and that’s what I’m going to do. I love you so much angel, I’m not leaving you.” James promised as he pulled Regulus into his arms, holding him as he cried. James whispered as his kissed his boyfriend’s hair. “I’ve got you baby. It’s ok. I promise it’s gonna be ok love.” James whispered as his kissed his boyfriend’s hair.
