Blurb: Hollywood powerhouse Jo is photographed making her assistant Emma laugh on the red carpet...and just like that, the tabloids declare them a couple. The so-called scandal couldn't come at a worse time, threatening Emma's promotion and Jo's new movie. As the gossip spreads, it starts to affect all areas of their lives. Paparazzi are following them outside the office, coworkers are treating them differently, and a source is feeding information to the media. Their only comment is "no comment." With the launch of Jo's film project fast approaching, the two women begin to spend even more time together, getting along famously. Emma seems to have a sixth sense for knowing what Jo needs, and Jo - known for being aloof and outwardly cold - opens up to Emma in a way neither of them expects. They begin to realise the rumour might not be so off-base after all...but is acting on the spark between them worth fanning the gossip flames?

We laugh just a little too loud
We stand just a little too close
We stare just a little too long
Maybe they're seeing something we don't

Id love to get a sneak peek for something to talk about 👀
HOW DID I NEVER SEE THIS ASK MY FRIEND.
here, have a bunch of paragraphs in apology:
“Well, well, well, fancy meeting you here,” as soon as the words leave her mouth, Sarah regrets even thinking them let alone saying them. Could she be any more lame?
Thankfully, Bucky doesn’t seem to notice how completely uncool she is. He looks up from his contemplation of the bag of what turns out to be chicken nuggets and smiles brightly at her.
His smile sends a bolt of heat straight through her body and she grips the cart handle a little tighter.
“Hey, you,” he says in a voice that makes her toes curl in her shoes. Holding the bag out to her he asks, “does Georgia eat chicken nuggets?”
i’m hoping to write some more this weekend and get chapter two posted!
