Sophie was in the Beach City Forest, looking at the city from afar with an angry look. Then, her phone made a notification sound like she had gotten a message. Sophie took her cellphone out of her pocket and checked it out.
Sophie: *confused* “What the?”
There was an app called “Tumblr” that was downloaded on her cellphone.

A New Fusion 2/2
Everyone stared at the fusion as they looked around at everybody.
"Nice to meet everyone. My name's...uh..." they said. The fusion then thought about their name. "My name's...Carmen...Bernard, I guess?
They nodded their head as it sounded catchy to them. "Yeah. The name's Carmen Bernard," they said. "So, what's everyone standing around here for? Isn't this a party?" Carmen looked at Ethan with a grin. "Hey, mister. Turn the music back up! It's time to party!"
He nodded before bringing the volume of the music back up. Carmen listened to the song for a few seconds before they then started dancing. There were people who were watching them dancing, while there were others that started dancing too.
================One Minute Later===================
Carmen stopped dancing as they decided that they wanted to go and talk with people. Kiki, Jenny, and Buck approached them.
"You were really awesome with those dance moves of yours, Carmen," complimented Jenny.
They smiled. "Ah, thanks," said Carmen.
"You think you could teach us some of your dance moves?" asked Jenny.
"I would if I could. I won't be here long since Sophie just got out of the Hospital and shouldn't strain themself, expecially with their powers," they informed.
The three of them understood. "Ooh," they said.
"Sophie's health does come first after all," said Buck.
Carmen nodded their head. "Exactly. So, while I'm here I'll just talk to people until it's time for me to unfuse," they said. "So, what do you three want to talk about for a while?"
The four of them then started talking about things.

^^; Sorry it's short. This is all I could think of. Besides, Carmen's only going to be around for a little while before they end up separating back into Sophie and Sour Cream.
Carmen Bernard was created with the help of a friend; they were even the ones who helped come up with a name for them.

A New Fusion 1/2
Connor had left to go find Steven, leaving Sophie by themself. They decided to go looked for their friends and hang out with them. Before they could, Sophie then suddenly felt something grab their pants leg. They could already tell who it was.
"Jade, don't you want to go socialize with everyone?" asked Sophie.
"No. I want to hang out with you, Maddy," said Jade.
They rolled their eyes in amusement. Then, Sophie held out a hand, which was then grabbed by their daughter. They smiled, then the two of them headed for the living room. There, sitting on the couch were Kiki, Jenny, Buck, and Sour Cream.
"Hey, guys. How's it going?" greeted Sophie.
Kiki smiled. "Hi, Sophie," she said.
Jenny stood up off of the couch and walked over to them. "We should be asking you that. Are you enjoying the party?" she asked.
Sophie nodded. "It's kind of cool. Especially since everyone showed up to welcome me back from the hospital," they said.
"When we heard about you being in the hospital, we were all so worried," said Jenny, concerned. She then pointed her thumb at Buck. "It was his idea to hold the party for you once you got out of the hospital."
Sophie looked at him, smiling. "Thanks, Buck," they said.
Buck was being cool. "It was nothing," he said.
Sophie looked over at an area of the living room that had enough space to dance. They looked back at the others with another smile. "Any one of you want to dance with me?" asked Sophie. They then looked at Sour Cream. "How about you, Sour Cream? It'd be fun."
He shrugged. "I don't know," said Sour Cream.
The others looked at him.
"Come on, man. It's Sophie's party," she said. "Go and dance with them."
Sour Cream thought about it. "Fine. Only for a little while," he said. Sour Cream got up from the couch.
Sophie walked towards the open area while he followed after them. Once they were there, Sophie walked over to the turntable, which was being manned by their dad.
Ethan grinned. "Hey, Sophie," he greeted.
"Hey, dad," they greeted.
"Are you enjoying the party?" asked Ethan.
Sophie nodded their head. "Yeah, I am. It's pretty fun," they said. "So, dad, I was wondering if you could do me two favors?"
He smiled. "Sure," said Ethan.
"First, can you change the song to one with some pop in it? And two, can you watch Jade for me?" asked Sophie. "I'm going to be dancing with Sour Cream."
"Sure thing," he said.
Ethan began changing the songs to look for one that fits his child's request. They crouched down at Jade, who didn't want to leave Sophie's side.
"Maddy, I want to dance with you," she said.
They gave a reassuring smile. "Jade, I'm only going to be dancing with him for a little while. After that, we can hang out all day during the party," said Sophie. "Can you stay by your grandpa's side until the dance is over?"
Jade thought about it before giving a reluctant nod. They hugged her just to cheer Jade up, which worked only a little. Sophie hugged her for a few more seconds before letting go. Then, they headed over where Sour Cream was waiting for them. As Sophie was walking over to him, a pop song being sung by a woman was playing on the speakers.
They stopped across from Sour Cream. "You ready?" asked Sophie.
"Sure," he said.
Sophie started the dance with some smooth steps, while Sour Cream did some dance moves that would go great with the song. Everyone's attention was on the two as they watched them dancing together.
====================Meanwhile====================
Connor had found Steven, who was at the snack table. The only reason he was at the party was because Steven had been dragged out of the house by him to welcome Sophie back from the hospital.
Connor was pulling Steven by the arm towards where Sophie was. "Just go and talk to them," he said.
He tried pulling his arm out of Connor's grip but couldn't. "B-But-" said Steven. Before he could say any more, he was then interrupted.
"Steven, you've been avoiding Sophie for a long time ever since you last visited them at the hospital. It's time the two of you talked it out," informed Connor. "Right now."
They made it to the area of the living room where Sophie and Sour Cream were dancing together.
====================Meanwhile====================
Sophie did a few more dance moves before they held out a fist towards Sour Cream. The reason was that Sophie wanted to end this with a fist bump.
"Let's end this with a fist bump, Sour Cream," they suggested.
He nodded in agreement. Then, Sour Cream spun around a few times before he stopped and did a fist bump with Sophie. The moment he did that, a red and black glow was being emitted from Sophie's gems. Then, the glow engulfed the both of them. Everyone watched as the glow then died down, and in Sophie and Sour Cream's place was a person who looked like a teenage girl.
They smiled and waved at everyone. "Hello. Nice to meet you all," they greeted.

Sophie Meets Connor
Sophie started heading for one of the coolers to get something to drink. Then they bumped into someone by accident.
"Sorry," said Sophie.
"It's no problem, Connie," said the person.
They had to do a double-take as they recognized who they bumped into, except the person looked different.
"Connie?" questioned Sophie.
"Yeah?" said the person.
The person in front of them was Connie, except her long hair was now a boy's haircut, and she was also wearing boy's clothes.
"You look different," they said.
Connie was confused until she realized what Sophie was saying. "Oh. I guess no one has told you, but, I'm trans now," they said. "During the time you were in the hospital, I thought about what you said about genders. Eventually, I started thinking about my own gender for a while and did some research."
Sophie nodded. "Okay," they said.
"I decided to then try out being a boy and non-binary. After a few days, I realized that I felt more comfortable being a boy than being a girl," continued Connie. "I then told my parents, who after much convincing, were cool with it. I changed my look and I even changed my name to 'Connor'."
Sophie was impressed. "Wow. That's amazing, Connor," they said. "I'm proud of your decision to decide your own gender."
Connor smiled. "Thanks, Sophie," he said.
Sophie then remembered something. They got out their cell phone. "Speaking of you, I have a blog that's a part of this app and website called 'Tumblr'. It seems that there are blogs that belongs to people from other universes within our Multiverse," explained Sophie. "I've been in contact with the Steven from another universe. Not only that, but..."
They then bring up @ask-gd-steven-au-connie's blog and showed it to Connor, who then looked surprised.
"I just came into contact with a counterpart of yours from the same universe as that Steven too," continued Sophie. They looked at him. "Want to send some asks to them?"
He thought about for a while. Then, Connor nodded, excited. "Contact with other universe me sounds amazing and exciting," he said.
Sophie smiled. "Then let's send her an ask," they said.
Sophie then started typing in an ask to send to Connie.

Hi there, Anon. Sorry I answered your ask late. Jade was using my phone, and then later I had a talk with her. After that, my phone's battery had died and I'm currently charging it in my dad's truck. 😅
Well, their, plus Green Steven and the others advice was pretty good. It helped with my talk with Jade. So, the advice worked and I'm happy that it went well. Jade's happy about it too.

Sophie walked out of the bathroom, wearing their clothes, while the hospital gown and their bad are in their arms.
They smiled. “That was a refreshing shower,” said Sophie. They then headed for their hospital bed and placed their gown onto it. “All right, I'm ready to go home now.”
Poppy nodded before walking away. Diopside and Ethan followed after her.
Before Sophie could follow after them, Jade decided to speak. “Um...Maddy?” she called out.
Sophie turned around and look down at her. “Yes, Jade?” they asked.
“...I-I know that you know. About what happened yesterday, mean,” informed Jade. “Steven and the others from that blog you like to interact with told me that you told them.”
Sophie was silent for a few seconds. “...I see,” they said.
She was now worried. “Y-You aren't mad at me, are you?” asked Jade.
Sophie shook their head. “No, I'm not mad. Just disappointed,” they said.
She look down at the floor, sad. “O-oh,” said Jade.
Sophie crossed their arms. “I'm disappointed that you used your mind control powers on Diopside. You're not supposed to use your powers on the innocent in order to get what you want,” they said. “I need you to promise that you'll start using your powers to help people when they're in danger. Also, whenever you're in battle against the enemy and when you're in danger too. Okay?”
She didn't say anything and only nodded her head.
“Jade, look up at me. Please,” said Sophie.
Jade looked up from the floor and up at her Maddy.
They had a serious look on their face, while at the same time, trying to prevent any tears from coming out of their eyes. “No matter what you do, you'll always be my daughter. I would never hate you and I'd never, ever treat you differently,” said Sophie. Tears start to come out of their eyes. “Understand?”
Tears started coming out of her eyes as well as she started crying. “Yes, Maddy. I'm so sorry for what I did,” said Jade. “I shouldn't have done that. I should've just waited until it was time to visit you instead.”
Sophie wanted to hug her, but couldn't. They then wiped the tears from their own face. “It's okay, Jade. But I'm not the one you should be apologizing to, right?” asked Sophie.
Jade wiped the tears from her face. Then, she nodded her head.
They smiled. “Let's go home. Once we're there, we can play video games together,” offered Sophie. “Want to do that?”
Jade smiled. “Yes,” she said.
The two then left Sophie's former hospital room.

Sophie watched the door open as their father, Poppy, and Jade walked in. While they were happy to see the three of them, Sophie is frowning on the inside as they have to talk to their daughter later about what she did was wrong.
Sophie waved at them. “Hey, everyone,” they greeted.
“Maddy!” shouted Jade. She ran over to Sophie and stopped at her bed side. “You ready to come home?”
They nodded. “Yeah, I can't wait. I also can't wait to start training my powers,” said Sophie “Though, I'll need to take it easy too since I don't want to overwork myself after getting out of the hospital.”
Ethan chuckled. “The first thing you want to do after getting home is training? Of course you would do that,” he said.
Ethan would've said more, but then a female doctor and a nurse walked into the room.
She had a smile on her face. “Hello there, I'm Dr. Annabelle. How's everyone doing today?” the doctor asked.
“We're all doing great. I can't wait to get this cast off of my foot,” they said.
“Well, wait no more,” said the nurse. In her hands was some equipment to help remove the cast. "This will only take a few seconds of your time.
=========Less Than A Minute Later===========
The cast was cut, removed, and placed in a metal pan.
“Ahh, finally,” they said, relieved.
“Before we leave, are there any feelings of discomfort?” asked Dr. Annabelle.
Sophie shook their head. “None,” they replied.
She smiled. “Then, you are all set to leave. Have a great day,” said Dr. Annabelle.
Sophie smiled. “You too,” they said.
The two left the room. All that was left before leaving the hospital was for Sophie to take a shower. They then turned their entire body around and put their legs over the bed since the railing had been brought down by the nurse. Sophie landed on the floor on their own two feet, wobbling as their right foot a little discomforting. They started walking over to the bag containing their clothes and other stuff.
Sophie grabbed the bag, and then they looked at everyone. “You can all watch TV until I'm done in the shower. I'll be out within a few minutes,” they informed.
Sophie was about to walk to the Bathroom, but then Jade ran up to them. “Can I use your phone, Maddy?” she asked.
Sophie thought about it for a few seconds before shrugging, seeing no harm in Jade using their phone. They have let Jade use it a few times to play games.
Sophie walked over to their phone while Jade followed after them, input the code, and then gave it to her. “Here you go,” said Sophie.
Jade smiled. “Thanks, Maddy,” she said.
“You're welcome, Jade,” they said.
Sophie then headed for the Bathroom once more. They went inside and locked the door.

Day 7
Sophie was watching some funny videos on their phone.
They chuckled. "Heh. Classic," said Sophie.
Then, there was a knock at the door.
They paused the video. "Come in," called out Sophie.
The door was opened by a male nurse. "There's someone here too see you," he informed.
"Let them in," they said.
"Sure thing," he said.
The nurse then opened the door, and in came Jade, smiling. He closed the door behind her.
"Jade, it's so good to see you. How you been?" asked Sophie. "Also, how did you get here?"
She stopped by their bedside, but not too close since Jade was warned not to get close since her Maddy hasn't mastered their new power yet.
"I'm good. Also, Diopside brought me here," replied Jade.
They raised an eyebrow, confused. "Really? Where are they?" asked Sophie.
"They're waiting in the Lobby. I asked them if they could bring me to the Hospital and if I could visit you by myself," she explained. "They said yes."
"I see," they said.
"How's your leg?" she asked.
Sophie looked at their foot. "It's getting better. Seems like I heal faster than humans do," they informed. "Because of that, that means that my wounds should be fully healed, while my stitches need to be removed today. As for my foot, it should be fully healed in 1 or 2 days. After that, I'll be out of the hospital."
Jade smiled even more after hearing the news that her Maddy will be out either tomorrow or the day after. Sophie noticed that she seemed to be in an even more of a good mood.
They smiled. "You seem to be in a good mood. Did something exciting happen today?" asked Sophie.
Jade nodded.
They raised an eyebrow in amusement. "You going to tell me?" asked Sophie.
"Yeah," she said.
Suddenly, Jade's whole form glowed. Then, her form started becoming smaller and was shifting around. Once the light cleared, in Jade's place was a kitten.
"Ta-da! I mastered shapeshifting!" she announced, proud.
They was speechless and they felt so proud. Just a few days ago, Jade acquired super strength, and now this.
Sophie took a photo of her since they wanted to show this to everyone. "Jade, I am so proud of you. Once I master my newest power, I am going to give you a hug soon after," said Sophie.
"I'll be waiting for that hug, Maddy," she said, smiling.
Jade's form started glowing again. Her form started growing and shifting. The light cleared and Jade was back to her original form.
"So, what do you want to do? Watch tv?" they asked.
She nodded her head. "Sure," said Jade.
Sophie reached over and grabbed the remote, while Jade went over and grabbed a chair to sit in. Then, they turned on the tv and started flipping through the channels until Sophie landed on a cartoon show.
Looks like Sophie can heal faster than humans just like Steven.

Day 8
Today was the day that the cast comes off and Sophie could finally leave the hospital. Sophie's dad, Diopside, Poppy, and Jade were coming to pick them up.
"I can't wait to hang out with my family. The first thing I'm going to do after I leave the hospital is go to a clothing store and buy tons of clothes and accessories," they thought. "I need to change my clothing style and start wearing new clothes instead of the same ones I wear every day. But I could also mix and match some of them with my old clothes too as well."
Sophie's train of though was interrupted as Diopside ran into their room and shut the door. She then dropped a bag of Sophie's clothes onto the chair and ran over to them.
"Uh. Hi, Diopside," greeted Sophie. "Something wrong?"
Diopside nodded. "Yeah. Something strange happened yesterday," she informed.
They became interested. "What happened?" asked Sophie.
"Well, a few hours before me and Jade visited the hospital, I had just came back from the Gem Base in order to retrieve a few things from my room for something I was working on. Before I could head back, I had ran into Jade, who wanted me to take her to the hospital so she could visit you," explained Diopside. "I said 'no' since I was busy working on something and that I'll take her in an hour or two. I headed for the Basement, ready to head back to the base, but then the next thing I knew I was sitting at the Hospital's Lobby with no memory of what happened."
They were surprised to hear that. "Wow. What do you think happened?" asked Sophie.
"I already know what happened," she informed with a worried tone.
"You do? What?" they asked.
"It was Jade. She mind-controlled me into taking her to the hospital," informed Diopside. "That's why I don't remember taking her there."
Sophie was silent for a few seconds before they started laughing. "J-Jade? Mind control?" questioned Sophie. "I-Impossib-ble."
"It's true! Jade mind-controlled me!" she argued.
They wiped some tears from their eyes as Sophie calmed down from laughing. They still had a smile on their face. "E-even if 'mind control' was one of Jade's abilities, do you actually expect me to believe that she would use her power to manipulate you into taking her to visit me?" asked Sophie.
"Your dad only had a few more hours until he was off work, so before she asked me, she had asked everyone else in the house and they said they were busy too," argued Diopside.
Their smile slowly fell as Sophie started to realize that if what she said was true about Jade having a Mind Control ability, then she would have definitely used that ability to control Diopside if there was no one else in the house to take her to visit them.
Sophie gave off a sad sigh. "I'll take to her about it and see if I can convince her to not use it on innocent people and gems," they said.
She nodded, relieved. "Thanks, Sophie," said Diopside. "The others will arrive in a few minutes. I had went on ahead in order to tell you what happened."
Sophie sighed again, and then gave her a thumbs-up. "No problem," they said.
Diopside pointed to the bag in the chair. "I also brought you a bag of your clothes and some of your stuff with me too so you'll be able to change after your cast is removed," she said.
"Thanks," said Sophie.
"You're welcome," said Diopside.
She then sat down in a chair to watch tv.

Sophie's Reaction
Sophie saw an ask on @the-life-of-the-green-squad that involved Pearl.
"Looks like Pearl had gotten an ask and seems shocked by it. I wonder what was it about?" they muttered.
Sophie decided to take a look at the ask since they were a little curious about it. A few seconds later, their phone fell out out of their hands. Then, Sophie's hands started emitting a dark purple-colored aura again.
"You have GOT to be kidding me. Even Pearl's been lying to everyone about the Gem War too?" they said, angry. "Great. Now it's going to take me a while to calm down after learning about that little info."
Sophie then started doing some controlled breathing exercises to calm themself down.

Sophie was watching some sort of a comedy tv show. They were wiping tears from their eyes as they had just finished laughing.
"Oh, man. That was so funny," said Sophie.
Their phone's notifications going off attracted their attention. Sophie picked it up and checked it out. One of their asks on @the-life-of-the-green-squad was answered.
"Cool," said Sophie. They then saw that Rose Quartz could be asked too.
"Interesting," said Sophie.
