Produzent und DJ p-rallel aus dem Westen Londons hat am 31.07. seine zweite EP "Soundboy" via Different Recordings veröffentlicht!

Mit nur 21 Jahren hat sich der junge Brite mit seinem DIY-Ansatz bereits ein beachtliches Standing innerhalb der britischen Club- und Klanglandschaft erarbeitet und dieser seinen Stempel aufgedrückt. Dabei verarbeitet p-rallel experimentelle Hip-Hop-Parts mit frühkindheitlichen Einflüssen aus Reggae- und Funkplatten seiner Mutter. “Soundboy is a representation of who I am and how I funnel it into my music", so der Londoner. "I am showing the audience a point of view of London that I have grown up in.”

Die neue EP "Soundboy" mit sechs neuen Songs enthält Features von Greentea Peng und Nayana IZ sowie von Louis Culture und Lord Apex, zwei Mitgliedern des Kreativ-Kollektives Elevation / Meditation. “I picked the artists because I feel like we’re all in the same boat, and because of my friendships with them", führt p-rallel aus. [Video] p-rallel und Greentea Peng releasen gemeinsamen Song "Soulboy"!

Der 21-jährige Produzent und DJ p-rallel veröffentlicht seine neue Single "Soulboy", auf dem sich der Londoner mit Greentea Peng Unterstützung aus dem selben Camp mit an Bord holt! Die Single ist ein erster Vorgeschmack auf die kommende EP "Soundboy", die am 24.07. via Different Recordings erscheint.

Auf den sechs neuen Tracks stützt sich der junge Engländer dabei auf die Reggae- und Dub-Einflüsse seiner Kindheit und verpackt diese in ganz eigene, experimentelle Beats. Die EP ist laut eigener Aussage der passende Soundtrack für luftig, leichte Sommerabende, die am besten niemals enden sollten. “If you’re into psychedelics or spiritual in any way, you'll have a greater understanding of the song lyrics and it’s higher-power meaning”, erzählt p-rallel über das neue Material.

Nach "Packed Bags" mit Louis Culture folgt mit "Soulboy" nun eine Kollaboration zusammen mit Labelkollegin Greentea Peng. “It felt quite natural making it, Greentea Peng’s vocals were exactly what I was looking for and her writing just connected”, so der Produzent. Der Track erscheint zusammen mit einem Video, das die Beiden effektreich beim gemeinsamen Chillen und Performen einfängt.
