Here it is, the time laps video of my GO fanart "Dawn & Dusk".
For all who are interested in the process of my (indeed very chaotic) drawing process. This video is a summary of approximately 25 hours of drawing.
My favorite part to watch is when I've drawn the wings 🪽 even if I had to give them a second try.
My mind is a coil of chaos and so I draw, have no other choice than to do the way my brain demands 😅 *laughs absentminded*
Tbh, I get easily bored and have no long-lasting patience to focus on one particular object of my drawing (Such a good feature for an artist 🫠). So I casually swap my attention from one object of the drawing to another without finishing the first one. Just going back to it later when I've regained enough patience to continue. Have to do so to avoid rushing and sloppy working.
This one was real challenge and I ended up tackling the no undo challenge very differently than how I normally do painting. I will admit that I did undo a couple times because I forgot to turn off my quick menu and ended up making new layers or merging layers by accident, BUT the point of the challenge is not to hide mistakes. I just decided to… paint over them. You can find a timelapse below the cut.
"High upon the shoulders of Thangorodrim [Fingon] climbed, and looked in despair upon the desolation of the land; but no passage or crevice could he find through which he might come within Morgoth's stronghold. Then […] he took his harp and sang a song of Valinor […]; and his voice rang in the mournful hollows that had never heard before aught save cries of fear and woe.
Thus Fingon found what he sought."

A relatively normal river on the South Front. Prolongued exposure to mutagenic magic weapons during the Poison War has created impenetrable forest where trees grow in tangled nests, and animals have experienced accelerated and bizarre evolutions.
Still need to paint some of the weirder landscapes from this area.
Please enjoy this bit of fan art I painted, based off of a screenshot from the game Pacific Drive! I really enjoyed watching a friend play part of it, and decided to do a bit of fan art to tide me over until I can get it!
Its been a while since I posted a long form drawing process, but I thought this one deserved it 😁 its about 7 minutes long so even Weasker has time for it. I hope you enjoy!
