Spider-Man
My first Spider-Man wasn't any of the live action Spider-Men but the Peter Parker from Spider-Man: The Animated Series (1994 - 1998). It was one of my favorite shows when I was kid. Literally a kid, I was 8 when it started and 12 when it ended.
So in many ways, when I think of Spider-Man, that's one of the first things to pop into my head.
This doesn't mean that I don't like other animated Spider-People. I rather liked Miles and Peter B. Parker and Gwen from Into The Spider-Verse.
For the record, if restricted to live action Spider-Man, the first one that comes to mind is Tobey.
I have nothing against Andrew or Tom. They are both very good Spider-Men.
It's more that I saw Tobey playing Spider-Man in the theater when I was 16 so Tobey's Spidey holds a special place in my heart.
Non-Spider Tangent
The first time I met Daredevil was via that Spider-Man cartoon. He only appeared in two episodes and was blonde for some reason (yes, some of the comic his hair is looks strawberry blonde but generally speaking, Matt has carrot red hair) but still very memorable to me. Enough to convince me to watch Daredevil (2003) and of course, the Netflix series.
Almost the reverse of the Spider-Man situation where Charlie is my Daredevil with only sprinkles of his 90s cartoon and comic counterparts.

say what you will about the old 90s spider-man animated series (and you better not say a single bad thing) but their way of designing morbius to get around the censors was actually really cool and also pretty creepy

Spent a month or so working on this, the true ending to Spider-Man: The Animated Series. Made with with clips, dialogue, and music from the show, all edited into a new epilogue for the show as Peter searches for Mary Jane. Watch now for the conclusion nearly 25 years later:

The original Spider-Verse event by Dan Slott in the comics was just one mean spirited story. Never bother with the animated movie. Just don't care for the concept.
The 90s cartoon did the whole multiverse Spider-Man story better. Even has a post apocalyptic world that Peter Parker has to navigate where he meets the villain of the story, himself.

By watching Spider-Man cartoons, I've found out that I really… really… hate the trope of "Forced to Fight".
In Spider-Man: The Animated Series, there's an arc in the fourth season where The Beyonder, a cosmic entity of unlimited power, tosses a bunch of Earth bad-guys onto a utopian planet just to see what would happen, then forces Spider-Man and a team of his choosing to fight the bad-guys one year later. On top of being very badly written, it's just a terrible and pointless contest.
In Ultimate Spider-Man (2012), there's an arc where The Collector and The Grandmaster, two cosmic-level beings who enjoy "collecting" rare species and people, draw Spider-Man and the good-guys of Earth into a series of contests of might with the bad-guys of Earth. Once again, it's ultimately utterly pointless and, worse still, it tosses characters in from Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. without any explanation as to who they are or what they're doing there.
I really do not like this trope at all because it amounts to little more than cosmic-level butt-wagging as "the powers that be" force their will onto these people who are "beyond them" purely because they can. The fact that this happened in two Spider-Man cartoons is also a bit baffling. And annoying. And I hate it.

The Many, MANY Intros Of Spider-Man: Fox Kids Spidey
BW Media Spotlight takes the ride for the next installment of The Many, MANY Intros Of Spider-Man: Fox Kids Spidey
For the 1990s Fox Kids would take up the adventures of the wall-crawler, and it may be the best interpretation of Spider-Man, and certainly the last one to properly adapt the comics. If anything, Spider-Man: The Animated Series (titled on-screen as simply Spider-Man) did something that Batman: The Animated Series did with Mr. Freeze and alter the comics with Venom’s influence on Peter. I’ll do…
