𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆: peter wants to be babied.
𝘄/𝗰: 0.5k
𝗮/𝗻: hey guys!! it has been nearly a year since i’ve last written and i just wanna say i’m sorry for leaving for so long </3 please do bear with me, this may not be that good judging by how long it’s been since i’ve last written. i hope you enjoy though! also for everyone who has requested something, i haven’t forgotten about you! i’m getting to those soon :)
Tumblr media
“please hold me”
it’s nearly 1am and you’re sprawled out on your bed watching some random movie that was playing on tv. you’ve been up waiting for hours for peter to come by after patrol, and now he’s finally here sneaking in through your window.
“are you okay baby? you finished up pretty late” you question softly as you take off his mask and brush his hair out of his face.
“i’m fine. i just want you to hold me” he says tiredly and practically puts all of his body weight on you, causing you both to fall back onto your bed.
adjusting yourselves to get more comfortable, you’re now laid back on your pillow as you hug peters large frame while his face is nuzzled in your chest.
you two lay silently as you rub his back until you decide to break the silence.
“you know, you’re still in your suit. you’re getting my bed dirty.”
“you just want me to take it off so you can see me naked”
“you’re done” you say before attempting to push him off of you. peter quickly caught your hands before you could even try.
“how did you–”
“i’m spider-man, baby”
“clearly” you chuckle, referring to him still being in his suit.
“since you want to see me naked so bad, i’ll take it off” he groans as if it’s the hardest task in the world. “happy now?”
“very. now come lay back down”
you don’t have to tell him twice. he quickly gets back into the position you two were in before and enjoys the warmth and comfort you bring him.
“you’re so perfect petey, did you know that?”
“mmm” he groans into as he nuzzles his face further into your chest, enjoying the sudden compliment.
“i mean seriously. you’re so smart, so strong, so caring and so funny. you being handsome is just the cherry on top”
“stoppp” he whines. “i’m blushing.”
“okay fine, i’m done”
“nooo, i didn’t mean it! keep going please” he cries as he lifts up his head to look at you.
“you are truly such a big baby”
“i’m your big baby. now continue please, i love being praised by you.”
how could you deny him?
“i love how cute you are. you have the prettiest brown hair and eyes. your face is perfectly sculpted too. i don’t know how i got blessed with the most handsome boyfriend in the world.”
“mmm” he groans again in complete ecstasy. hearing your compliments is like music to his ears.
“you’re so cute, i just want to squish your cheeks” you say before lifting his head up slightly and squishing his cheeks together.
you cannot believe he’s letting you baby him like this.
“aww petey, you’re so adorable”
“thank you” he says with a pink tint on his cheeks as he rests his head on your chest again, suddenly feeling sleepy.
you two sat in silence for a few more minutes and he peacefully drifted to sleep.
you were definitely going to make fun of him for tonight in the morning.

Y/n pulled down the sleeves of her crocheted sweater as she stepped out of the bodega, white plastic bag of chips and candy in hand. The sun was close to setting behind skyscrapers and plunging New York City into its usual state of terror. It was dangerous to be alone on the streets, but Y/n figured she’d be fine walking a few blocks to her friend’s place. She pushed through sidewalk traffic, passing others who were just as eager to be safe in their homes.
Her phone chimed with a text.
Unknown: Turn left.
She paused, looking up to scan her surroundings. There was nothing strange or out of place. Just stores closing up for the night and people minding their own business. Despite how normal everything seemed to be, Y/n knew better. She spared a glance at the alley to her left, immediately deciding against it and kept walking.
Another chime. She ignored it and the next. Stopping wasn’t worth possibly ending up on the eleven o’clock news. At least that’s what she told herself. The less rational part of her mind had a thought. In some ways more terrifying than being mugged.
Tucked away in her pocket, her phone rang. This time she checked. Unknown. Y/n scoffed, rejecting the call.
Unknown: One more chance.
Unknown: Take a left.
Unknown: I won’t ask again.
Her phone rang once more. With a long, begrudging sigh Y/n swiped to accept. “I thought you weren’t going to ask again,” she said, her eyes darting warily to the darkening street.
“Make a left, Y/n,” a deep distorted voice ordered from the other line. Her heart dropped. Maybe the irrational part of her brain wasn’t as off kilter as she thought. The call hung up like she didn’t need anymore convincing.
The yawning mouth of an alley stared back at her. She took a calming breath, inhaling the morning rain before stepping away from any potential witnesses. Her footsteps echoed in the eerie silence of the alley. Her skin heated in either fear or anticipation, she didn’t know. “I don’t have all night,” she spoke into the open air. “I will leave.” Y/n attempted to hide the tremble in her throat.
Her ringtone was shrill in the alley. She jumped. The bright smiling photo of her friend illuminated her face. She did not hesitate to answer. “Hello?”
“Thank god! You’re still alive. Are you close?”
“Yeah, I’m almost there, Ellie,” Y/n began to exit the alley. “The bodega line was long.” She rustled her haul of snacks.
“It’s getting dark. I can send my brother to meet you. Ya know he’s always had a bit of a thing for you and now that you’re single…” Ellie trailed off. Y/n could practically hear her smile.
She rolled her eyes, laughing nervously, “You don’t have to make him come get me. I’ll be—” She was cut off by her own scream ripping from her throat. A streak of darkness and neon flashed in front of her, swiping the phone from her hand. Her grocery bag tumbled to the concrete as she stumbled over her heels. Cold metal met her back. A well defined arm snaked around her waist, held her impossibly tight.
“Y/n? Y/n!” Her friend’s voice rose over the speakers.
The smooth phone screen pressed against her cheek. “Tell her you’re okay then hang up,” the same warped voice demanded in her ear.
Y/n felt her lips move before he ended the call. Some quick lie about a monstrous rat. Blood thrummed through her skull along with her ragged breaths.
“Let me go!” Y/n wrestling out of his grip with no resistance, finally turning around. She halted. Pixelated eyes narrowed at her. What had she been expecting? Was a mask better?
Getting slashed for the money in her wallet and being left for dead by a dumpster was starting to sound more appealing than her current situation.
Mechanic panels whirred and parted open. Rich, penetrating dark eyes took in every inch of the girl in front of him, peeling back layer after layer in that calculating glare Y/n knew all too well. “Hola, mami.”
She hoped to never hear that name fall from anyone’s lips. Much less his. Y/n allowed a selfish moment to let her gaze wander. His braids were fresh, obviously not her work. Fade clean. Jay’s untied. Bronze skin annoyingly flawless. He was the same, except for the faint bags decorating his eyes. His chuckle bounced off the brick walls, catching her. It was sobering.
“You have one minute, Morales. One minute before I run screaming and call the feds on your ass,” she crossed her arms.
“Morales?” Miles raised an eyebrow. “Damn. Is that what we doin’ now?”
“Fifty.”
He circled her like the predator he was, each footstep deafening. “You look good, ma. Where you goin’ so late? It’s not safe.”
“You know where! You’ve been following me, remember? How long have you been doing that for? Just another secret, huh?” Y/n was on the verge of yelling, her initial fear replaced by pure rage. “You’re not even going to deny it.”
Miles dared a step forward. Y/n took two back. “You’re afraid of me.” Her lack of an answer was a shattering confirmation.
“I’m afraid of what you do, Miles,” she motioned to his suit, the spray painted insignia physically painful to see on his chest. The Prowler. She would have never fathomed the possibility if she hadn’t seen him in action herself. “You’re a criminal. You steal. You’ve killed people,” she choked trying to swallow back tears.
He dragged a gloved hand down his face. “You don’t understand.”
“You’re right! I don’t get it. You changed and I don’t understand why.” Her waterline welled. Three months of suppressed feelings threatened to rear their ugly heads when he was near. Because of him, of course.
It was ironic how much he made her feel, even now. Ellie, other friends, Y/n’s family never fully warmed up to Miles. He was unfeeling, nonchalant, closed off. They couldn’t see how a girl like her could fall for him and stay. At least that’s the promise she made.
“So did you. You walked away. Left me. What happened to our forever, Y/n?”
“You expected nothing to change? In what world would I not react or feel some typa way?” She tensed. Another wave of anger seared through her veins. How dare he turn this on her? “Oh wait,” her laugh was humorless. “I was never supposed to find out.”
“I have to do this. The world ain’t right and I need to protect the people I care about,” he placed a hand over his armor, over his chest. “I couldn’t do shit about my dad, but you…” He stalked closer. This time she didn’t back away.
Miles grasped her hand, placing it over his heart. She couldn’t face his intensity for too long, not without air. He wore the same musky cologne she gifted him for Christmas.“Mirame,” he tilted her delicate face towards him. “Mi corazón, I can keep you safe. You gotta let me. If something happened to you I don’t know what I would do.” His chiseled features twisted, barely able to utter the words. He finally closed the space between them, resting his forehead against hers.
“One minute,” Y/n whispered. It had been more than one minute.
Without separating, he slowly slipped her phone into her back pocket, letting his fingers linger by the waist of her jeans. “Call them. I’ll stay right here and you can end this. You’ll never have to see me again. Prometo, mi corazón.”
She should have listened when Ellie told her to stay away. Undeniably gorgeous, genius level intellect, sexy accent. There was always a catch, she said. She was right. But there was one drawback not even her best friend predicted.
Y/n pulled away. Suddenly the autumn air was too chilly through her sweater. She unlocked her phone. Typed 9-1-1. She looked up through her lashes at Miles as if he would melt into the shadows and escape. She didn’t expect sheer defeat to paint his face, unhidden behind his usual mask of indifference. Her thumb froze.
Miles Morales had Y/n entranced. He’d woven himself into her being, hollowed out a space in her soul just for him. Those titanium claws were in deep and she didn’t know if she had the strength to pry them out or wanted to.
Y/n pocketed her phone. She resigned to every emotion she harbored for the boy in front of her. She chose every wrong decision. “Go, Miles.”
His grin was smug. “Should I call you?”
“Don’t push it, Morales.” He draped his arms around her shoulders, dragged her into his warmth. “I’ll unblock you. Sound good?”
Miles angled his head. His smile stretched to his eyes, showing those rarely seen dimples. “Sí, mami. Whatever you want.”

❝late-bloomer❞
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
plot: you've never been kissed before. on a completely unrelated note, what if your best friend offered to be your first? pairing: tasm!peter parker x gn!reader. cw: post-tasm 2, gwen stacy mention, angst, self-deprecating thoughts about being undesirable and insecurity in love, best friends to wouldn't you like to know, eventual fluff, attempts at andrew garfield accurate rambling, he definitely talks you through it I mean who said that. words: 4.3k.
a/n: entirely self-indulgent because I wrote this after crying over being a late-bloomer for an hour ahahaha
Tumblr media
Peter is reading something for research when you suck in a breath and finally ask, "What was your first kiss like?"
You hear his voice die in his throat. The small whispering of test results and calculations fall short, but you don't dare to look back. You're hunched forward so he won't see the way your eyes burn and brim with tears unshed because if he did, he'd ask about it and then you'd really start crying. Instead, you busy yourself with your phone, idly scrolling as if your question was pure curiosity alone.
You watch his ankles uncross, hear him sit up and then lean against the headboard again, fumbling for your train of thought, "Uh... sticky, 'cause I was six," Peter laughs, "You should know. You're the one who kissed me."
No matter how many times he tells you this, you can't remember the day you'd been so bold as to plant one right on Peter Parker's lips. You felt like you'd remember that, but you'd been such an impulsive child back them. Bolder. Thicker-skinned.
But Peter remembers, and so does Aunt May who swears up and down that she'd caught it on camera ("If only I could find that damned photo album"). You're the only one who doesn't. It's like it never happened, "No, God... no. I mean like your first real kiss."
"Like with tongue?" You hear the humor in his voice and even your sullen mood doesn't stop you from smacking his knee. "I dunno what you're talking about. That kiss was real to me."
"I'm serious, Pete."
He hums. You're so, so tempted to look back and see what he's thinking, but it would give you away too easily. "It was... it was a kiss. I mean, Gwen- you know. You know. I was crazy about her. I didn't think I just... kissed her."
"How did it feel? Do you know?"
"I felt like I needed to do it. I felt like if I didn't, I'd throw up. Not actually, just... like I'd explode with all the feelings I had for her."
Your finger hovers over a tweet. In your wondering about that feeling of almost nearly exploding, you try to picture that rooftop kiss that Peter had relayed to you between classes, with hushed whispers and childish laughter. It was windy, and I was breathless, he'd said, and I wanted to lay myself bare. And I just... pulled her in. Shot a web and swept her up and kissed her. I think I've lost my mind. You remembered pressing your back against the school lockers to cool yourself as you imagined the scene, the steps it took for you to settle the uneasy churn in the pit of your chest. The euphoria and panic upon realizing that your Peter was growing up.
You felt overwhelmed just imagining it. You barely hear Peter ask why you want to know. "No reason. Was just curious."
You think that Peter accepts that as good enough reason because the room is silent again. You keep scrolling, keep taking subtle deep breaths to keep the tears at bay. You see a picture of a couple on your timeline and scroll faster.
A few minutes of peace pass before Peter broaches the subject again, "What about you?"
"Hm?"
"I don't think you've ever told me about your first kiss."
Your shoulders tense. No good effort hides the strain in your voice, "I haven't?"
A beat passes. You glance over your shoulder and see Peter staring right at you, his lips upturned in a small, resting smile, but his eyes are inquiring. He's trying to read you. Perhaps he's just noticed the heavy cloud hanging overhead. "Nope." He pops the "P". He's waiting.
You could lie. You could say it was Flash Thompson who stole it, mention that field trip to the zoo in middle school when he'd sneaked next to you at the peacock exhibit and pestered you about you and Peter. Peter wouldn't question Flash about it. Even if they'd made amends, any conversation about him would send him over the edge with memories of his childhood bully and how much he pitied you for having your first kiss with him. And all of you were far too old now; Flash Thompson had gone to another state to play football the minute he got his diploma. It'd be so inconsequential, such an easy lie.
But the longer it takes you to deliberate on it, the worse it makes you look. You should've offered up an answer easily, jovially, unbothered. It should be inconsequential. Anything more and Peter would call your bluff because he knew you better than you knew yourself sometimes.
At some point, you feel the brush of a lone finger at the base of your spine and it startles you. Peter's slipped his finger under your shirt, stroking along the middle of your back, "I won't laugh. If that's what you're thinking." He says softly.
Of course Peter wouldn't laugh at you. As much as your relationship was teasing, he knew where you were tender.
But it wasn't laughing you worried about.
"I know." You say, in lieu of a real answer. You fear you've given yourself away.
Now there are two fingers stroking your skin, "You don't... you don't have to tell me, if you don't want to," but you can hear the discomfort in his voice when he says it, like the thought that it's something you don't want to tell him concerns him, "it's up to you."
Just lie. Your breath shudders and immediately you regret it. There's no way he hadn't heard that.
Before you can recover, you're feeling the heat of his entire hand on your back now as it slips further up, as he sits up in bed beside you and rests his chin on your shoulder. The closeness of his breath makes you feel claustrophobic all of a sudden, "Hey, hey. I'm sorry. Did I push? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you."
You struggle to shake your head, but now your eyes are burning again and you don't think you can stop the tears this time, "You didn't." You insist.
"You're crying, bub," he laughs (not mockingly, never mockingly, never when you cry) and reaches a thumb up to brush away the first warm tear, "what's wrong?"
There's a million things you could say. I've never been kissed before, I don't know what it feels like to be longed for like that, I want to be longed for like that, why haven't I been longed for like that? But it all feels so heavy. Peter picks his chin up to kiss your shoulder and that really does it, "It never happened."
Peter's lips still against your skin. Their warmth slowly peels away, though you feel his breath ghost over the curve of your bone, "What hasn't?"
"A kiss. A first kiss, Peter. I've never had one."
"That's..." Peter sounds almost shocked, disbelieving. He never picks up that thought.
You turn your head away and toss your phone onto the bed, no longer interested in pretending you could distract yourself with anything else. You try to shrug your shoulder out from underneath Peter's mouth but he's quick, the hand at your back locking around you and you can't escape him even though you want to, even though you need to get away from his sweet smile and lovely heartbeat that thuds a little faster against your side.
It was already so much to tell him you hadn't had your first kiss yet, to admit to your best friend who—despite popular Midtown High opinion—has always been so irresistible to lovers, that you haven't gone as far as something so... simple. Something teenagers running your old stomping grounds have probably experienced ten times over by now. You don't think you can handle his pity too, "Peter, please."
"There's nothing wrong with that. Nothing at all. Everyone moves at their own pace."
You hiss through your teeth. You don't mean to, but the spite overwhelms you like red hot heat for a minute, "It's easy to say that when you've done it already."
You catch Peter's eye and immediately regret it. His untamed brows are drawn together, expression more analyzing than pitying. Even though you're brimming with feelings, he seems as if he's trying to wade through them, search for the gnarled root at the center of it all.
Then, and he says this so carefully that the meaning takes a moment to catch up with you, "There's nothing wrong with you."
It's the sincerity that does it. You shove his hand off of you, jerk away from him in a scramble to stand, but Peter is fast and lithe and he's always been two steps ahead of you even before the bite. He's up on his feet before even you are, coming to stand in your way when you go to grab for your bag, "Peter, move."
"Look, can we... can we talk about this?"
"I really don't want to. Move."
"Why are you shutting me out?"
"Because I want to go home. Move."
"Is it because of what I said?"
"Yes!" You blurt, growing frustrated the longer he blocks your path, "yes. Because I'm sick of being told there's nothing wrong with me when clearly..." Your voice tapers off, afraid to give him the reason he needs to worry about you, "Please. I'm just tired. It'll go away on its own, it always does, I just can't be here right now."
The standoff between you two lingers, feels like you might have to fight him just to escape. It takes everything in you just to keep eye contact with him and not burst into tears.
Peter clearly doesn't want to let you go. You can see that genius brain of his running every possible scenario in his mind in which he convinces you to stay, cry it out, leave happier than you came. None of them come soon enough. You brush past him when he realizes he's got nothing, and even the hand that grabs for you is halfhearted, shrugged off with little force.
"I'll see you later, Pete."
You let his front door shut on its own.
Tumblr media
It hasn't been great.
What typically took a few hours to shake off had settled over you like a dark cloud ever since you'd stormed out of Peter's place. Even though you texted him like everything was fine (and dodged any phone calls so he wouldn't hear the truth with those freakishly good best friend senses of his), you had yet to see him again. Had yet to let yourself be seen.
You told yourself that it was just you missing Peter, and you believed that to be true, but you also believed that when he looked you in the eye and told you "there's nothing wrong with you", you hadn't been prepared for the nakedness of it all. He'd dug deep, right to the source. That kind of thing was hard to move past.
So you avoided him. If he came by your place, you pretended you weren't home. If he showed up at your work to take you to coffee, you lied and told him you had plans with a coworker. It had been several days now and you felt more and more cowardly by the minute.
It was Peter. Of all people, it was Peter. Your best friend. You could tell him anything (most things, some kept a little closer to the heart). You should be able to.
And it was silly. Being embarrassed about not kissing anyone. Plenty of people were in the same boat as you and they didn't ice their best friend out about it.
Ugh, now you were just making yourself feel worse.
You'd had enough. You'd end this pity party today. As you make your way through your apartment door, you promise yourself that after you've showered, after you've made yourself a filling dinner, after you've settled into bed, you'd call Peter and ask him to meet for pizza this weekend. You'd talk like civil adults who understand that life isn't a race. You'd share your couch, laugh about the whole thing, and maybe, just maybe, the hollowness in your chest that longed for someone's desire to fill it would finally-
He's sitting in your kitchen.
Legs dangling off the island, mask rolled up to his nose, and a spoon clattering out of his mouth and into a bowl of ice cream. Your front door shuts gently behind you.
You stare at each other for a few seconds. Then you glance through your bedroom door, cracked open just enough for you to see the breeze rustling your curtains. You turn back to Peter, who's cleaning off his bottom lip of raspberry sorbet. "Did you climb through the window? You have a key."
Peter sets the bowl down beside him, shrugs, "You weren't returning my calls."
Your shoulders sag and you drop your things to the floor, "Peter-"
"No, no," you watch him slide off the countertop and bounce over to you, and the nearness you aren't prepared for makes you back away an inch or two, "No Peter. I'm not Peter. I'm Spider-Man. See?" He gestures to the suit.
You reach your hand up and pinch his exposed cheek, then narrowly avoid his teeth before he tries to nip you, "I'm not in the mood. I said I'd call you later, I'm just... busy."
"Busy avoiding your best friend."
You can feel him trail after you as you walk away, beginning to undress. He catches your coat when you throw it toward the couch and hangs it up all neat on a hook. He kicks your shoes to a wall and tugs your belt from your fingertips once you've undone it. Then, unexpectedly, he hooks said belt around your waist and yanks you back to face him.
The momentum throws you fully into his chest but he's sturdy, unmoving as you grip his shoulders and give him the most hostile look you can muster. You attempt to wiggle out of the trap but he pulls the belt tighter, forcing you closer, and then you start to panic as the space between you both disappears, "I haven't been avoiding you, I just needed space." You quickly explain.
"And I get that," he admits, "but you scared me. I've never seen you like that before. Not with me. Not ever."
Of course he hadn't. It was why you kept all of this a secret in the first place. Because you knew he'd worry, and you knew that there would be nothing he could do to fix it. Not like he usually could.
"It was a... brief lapse in self-esteem. That's all. You're making it into a bigger deal than it should be."
"It's not a big deal?"
"No! That's what I keep trying to tell you."
"So it doesn't matter at all."
"Correct."
"Right."
"It's just an arbitrary milestone that means nothing." You grip the leather of your belt but you're nothing against his superhuman strength. Pleading with your eyes, you do your best not to slip back into that vulnerable place all over again. Peter made you feel safe to do that. Way too safe to do that. "I promise. I'm not avoiding you."
You get sick of staring into the whites of his mask and so you grab the edge of it and pull it up to his hairline, little tufts of curls poking out as his face is fully revealed to you. You stare into those sharp, probing eyes of his, forcing yourself to stand the test of Peter Parker's perception.
Suddenly, you're released.
You stumble back a bit, the belt clanking against the floor, as Peter throws his arms up in defeat, "Alright, alright. I get it. I should've let you breathe the other night. I was just worried, is all."
You smile, "And I appreciate that."
Peter quickly glances at you and then away, making an exaggerated show of kicking imaginary dust off the floor. "First kisses really mean nothing then, huh?"
"Zilch. Nada."
"So... doesn't matter when it is, who it is..."
You watch him carefully, "If this is about when we were six-"
"No, no, I know that didn't count. You don't even remember it," his face contorts in a wince, "I was just thinking. Something."
Your eyes narrow, "Uh-huh."
"Well, I mean, is that why? Because you don't remember it? Or... is it because it was me?"
"The kiss?" Peter blows a raspberry, looking more bashful by the second, and nods without looking at you. "It's... it's because we were six. And we didn't know what we were doing. I was just mimicking what we saw. We didn't know anything."
"And now we do."
"Yeah. What are you getting at, Pete?"
He sits on the back of your couch and kicks his feet out in front of him. "If all that matters is that we both know what we're doing, and a first kiss is just a meaningless milestone to you, then I thought that maybe we could give it another go. You know. So when a real kiss comes along that actually means something, you'll have an idea of how it's supposed to go."
You're six years old again.
You and Peter Parker are sitting in the dirt, mouths covered in sticky ice cream that the summer sun melted right up. You're both talking about Flash Thompson's trip to Florida and the hilarious sunburn he came back with when you spot an elderly couple across the park, pressing their mouths together over and over.
You're looking over at Peter and asking about it, sure it couldn't possibly feel good, and he's telling you that when Uncle Ben kisses May good morning in the kitchen he always looks away because it's gross.
And you're thinking... you start thinking something.
You're thinking it would be funny—that Peter would hate you for it, but you're just so curious—and you're pressing your lips to his so quickly that he doesn't get a chance to pull back before you're giggling in the grass. And May's voice flutters in the background, a shrill and delighted, "I caught that!" that makes you both turn tail and run toward the swings.
Peter's still staring at you, waiting.
Part of you feels like it's pity. Like he doesn't want you to feel bad about yourself. Like he doesn't know how else to fix it, because he has to fix it. He has to fix everything. He has to be your hero.
But the other part? A restless and selfish part wants to take it; it's curious.
You take a step forward, the two of you watching each other, waiting to see if the other might back out at the last second. He stays exactly where he is, legs parting slowly, and the silent invitation makes you feel hot under the collar.
When you're standing between them, you feel his knees bump your legs on either side, his hands planted firmly into the couch cushions. You notice the grip he has on them, "Are you sure?" You pause.
Peter tilts his head in that strange, spider-like way. As if he cannot fathom why would you ask such a thing, "Of course. I'm the one who offered."
Your hands shake as they consider where to put themselves, and you get about halfway to his shoulders before he takes them and places them on either side of his face, mumbling something about how it might help you feel more in control, quell your nerves a bit.
Peter's cheeks feel so warm in your hands, and you can feel each swallow he makes the longer you take in his expression. "Should... I move in first? Or..."
He laughs, short and high-pitched, "I guess I can go first."
You know you're supposed to close your eyes, but as he comes in close, you can't help but keep them lidded, taking in every twitch of his mouth as he inclines his neck, shuts his eyes, and kisses you.
Your brain reacts a half-second after his lips touch yours. You've probably stopped breathing, and you have to force your lips to unstiffen so that you could actually feel him. His lips are a little wet—he'd been rolling his bottom lip between his teeth since he'd sat down—and they taste faintly of raspberry. They're not cold though, and the feeling isn't unpleasant.
You don't know how to react to it, don't know if you should move or not, and so instead you curl your fingers into the silk of his nape and wait for the pounding in your chest to stop.
You feel him mouth at your bottom lip just once, and then pull back. "How'd that feel?"
You recall the sensations that went through your brain (all that it can recall anyway, when Peter's looking at you like that), "Slimy...?"
Peter's face falls, and then he bursts into laughter, shakes with the force of it, and drops his head on your shoulder. "There's got to be a better word than that."
"I don't know! I was just thinking about the feeling."
"I don't want to know what it felt like, I want to know how it made you feel. Did you like it? Hate it?"
"I don't know. I'm- I'm nervous."
"Hey, that's okay," his hand rubs your hip, warming the skin there, and you find yourself leaning into it for comfort, "everyone is their first time."
Peter is so, so gentle. Your heart feels like it might give out, but a little less now that it's over and he's not looking at you in disgust. You don't know what you expected, but... this was better. By far. That part of you that felt selfish takes over again, "Can we try again?"
His eyes widen a bit, but he's immediately nodding, "Okay. Yeah. Okay. We can try as- as many times as you want."
You nearly choke on your spit. "Can we?" Your voice comes out a meek whisper.
Peter nods. He brings his legs in so that he's sitting properly now. "Of course. You wanna move me? I can sit somewhere else. Or you can sit if you want."
"No, I like you here," you say, feeling your stomach tighten when his thighs lock against your legs, "um. Is there anything I can work on? How did I feel?"
"Warm. Soft. Just try to loosen up, alright?"
You force yourself to release the tension in your body and move in first this time. Images of rom-com kisses flood your brain, how you memorized their rhythms and the placement of their mouths. You try your best to mimic it, make it feel as good as it seemed to look, when you feel one of Peter's hands slip behind your head and angle you away just a hair, "You're tensing up," he warns, making you pause, "it doesn't have to be perfect. It's just you and me. Breathe for me, okay? Turn your brain off."
You feel your stomach flip a bit, and nod along mindlessly. You try again.
This time, it feels a little different. Not wet or stiff, even if it is still awkward. It almost overwhelms you when, as you're mouthing at Peter's lip, he returns the favor, but you keep your brain empty. You can't focus on the details because it won't feel right. You can't focus on the way it looks because it won't feel right.
So you focus on Peter. You focus on the hand on your hip drawing you closer and the hand on your neck rubbing circles into the knot there. You focus on the feeling of his suit under your pinkies. You focus on the small hum he makes when, with quite a bit of building up to it, you pass your tongue over his.
Almost as soon as you do it, you pull back. Peter is flushed and it makes the beauty marks on his skin stand out more. His eyelashes flutter, a half-smile on his lips that are kissed red. By you.
You open your mouth to ask but he beats you to it, "I think you've got it now... yeah. Definitely." You're so relieved you sigh, sagging away from him, but he catches your hands before they can can leave his face completely and holds them in his lap. You don't dare move them. "How about you? Did you like it?"
You nod, speechless.
Peter laughs and squeezes your hands in his, "Okay, good. Good. I love you, you know? I know it doesn't... replace what you're looking for, but you're wonderful. You're insane and funny and stunning and there's nothing wrong... you know? You're perfect. Take it from your loser best friend who had to get bit by a radioactive spider to get to first base."
You snort, "I mean, if that's all it takes..."
Peter shakes his head and stands, but his hand remains on your neck as you follow his eyes to his full height, "So, we good? No more ignoring me?" You bite your lip, nodding your head. Peter smiles. "Good, cause I'm starving and I need you to split a pizza with me."
"You just polished off a tub of ice cream and you're still hungry?"
"I'm a growing spider, honey. And I missed you." Without warning, the hand on your hip hooks around your back and hoists you into his body, throwing you off balance once more, "I'll swing us there and cover cheese sticks too. Sound good?"
You know you don't have much room to argue when he's being so generous. And not when he's beaming at you, so genuinely relieved to have you back that it would knock you off your feet if he wasn't holding you up.
He was right; this wouldn't replace what you were looking for, but it gets pretty damn close. Closer than you expected, actually. But it's just the adrenaline. This didn't change anything.
Did it? You stare up at Peter.
"We can try as many times as you want."
You might have a very different problem than you started with.

The forgotten child
Tumblr media
Pairing's : fem! reader x peter parker, tony stark daughter! x tony stark, tony stark daughter! x peter parker
Warnings: really sad angst, jealousy, daddy issues, neglect, lmk if i missed anything! :)
Summary: dad of the year award? surely isn't going too him
a/n : I know the gif doesn't really match the theme of this story I just really liked it. I did not reread this so please ignore any grammar mistakes. Also, I'm not sure if i wrote a panic attack correctly but I wrote based on what their like for me. hope you all enjoy!
you really tried not to become the forgotten child, always tried you're very hardest to live up to your father expectations, trying to make him proud in hope's he'd show some form of attention.
always studying to get straight a's even through countless anxiety attacks from fear of failing and disappointing your father.
all you ever wanted was reassurance, and if you ever got lucky enough a "You did a good job" after getting a high score on a test.
but it never came, it would forever be something you longed to hear. he would usually just mumble a small, quiet "congrats" as his mind stayed focused on his work and his eyes stuck to the blueprint laid out on the table Infront of him.
you always tried you're best not to feel jealous whenever your father held morgan, you had no ressentiment towards morgan whatsoever, in fact she was the one that kept you smiling most days. although you couldn't help but feel your heart tighten from jealousy as you watched them have daddy daughter time
you really did try you're best to be happy for your younger sister, but you couldn't ignore that aching feeling. all you wanted was the attention she had that your heart ached so desperately for, but it never came despite your countless attempts.
you we're astound to hear a new avenger had been recruited, you always enjoyed meeting new people. mainly because they gave you attention they didn't even know you craved.
you always seeked to see the best in people, no matter what the circumstances we're. including peter parker, there was nothing wrong with him, he wasn't a bad person in fact quite a good one, and if you weren't so envious of him you possibly could have been friends with the boy. but you watched how peter and your father clicked so easily becoming like father and son.
it made the knots in your stomach tighten as you watched them spend time together, it made you feel as if something was wrong with you, like maybe if you tried harder or changed, he'd give you the attention you deserved.
your mother, pepper always said he loved you just as much as he loved morgan or even peter, but you knew the truth as much as you ignored it you knew. but oh, how you wish he did.
"Mom, I'm home" you called out knowing if father was home, he wouldn't answer you. after not receiving an answer, you decided to look through the house in search of your mother, after a couple of minutes searching you still hadn't found her and decided she probably went out and took morgan with her. you heard talking but it sounded like your father, and peter?? "what's peter doing here?" you wondered. you decided to peak you're head through the door and saw peter and tony standing with their backs faced away from you, working on some upgrades for peter's suit.
"you're a pretty great kid peter" tony told him as he smiled at him patting his shoulder. a wave of jealously hit your chest as you watched them, your throat tightening. "Thank you, Mr. stark," peter smiled cheekily as your fingers clenched into a fist at your side.
"Becoming like my son."
once those words left Tony's lips, your mouth went dry, your head aching as you backed away from the door as quietly as possible, you're breathing picking up rapidly. you quickly made your way to your room, tears forming in your eyes, you walked into your room and shut the door softly as your hands started shaking as you paced around your room quickly, trying to stop the tears from rolling down your cheeks. you never liked crying, it made you feel weak.
you're breathing came out in heavy gasp as you struggled to breathe. you leaned against the wall coughing as you squeezed your eyes shut as you tried to stop the words from replaying in your mind.
"Becoming like my son" continuously echoed through your head as soft sobs left your lips, you didn't want to feel this way, envious of what your father and peter had. it's not peter's fault about what your father feels about you so why hold him accountable. he'll never love you, at least not like he loves peter. you can't figure out why? you always tried you're best to impress him, but nothing seemed to be enough for him, it's like he didn't even care about your existence.
you stumbled over to your bed, taking deep breathes as your body grew exhausted from crying. you plopped down on your bed tiredly as you snuggled up against your blanket that was where your pillows we're supposed to be, you grabbed a pillow and hugged it too sleep.
you didn't want to put the blame on peter because it wasn't his fault, but a little piece of your heart blamed peter parker.
a/n: CLIFFHANGER!?!? I decided to leave it for now because I haven't come up with an ending that I thought fit the way I wanted so if you guys have ideas, please let me know. reblog's are highly appreciated, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

It was Friday Night.
Your favorite day and time of the week because of your tradition with Peter to order pizza and watch a movie. Tonight was a bit different though, you both decided to order your least favorite flavor of pizza and watch the lowest-rated movie ever.
Peter made a joke in the middle of the movie, causing you to laugh and cover your face with your hands. It was a habit you developed since you were a kid when a bully made fun of you for having an ‘ugly-laughing’ face. “Stop,” he chuckled as he captured your wrists with his hands. “Stop what?” you questioned unknowingly, allowing him to hold your wrists and pull them away from your face. You stared at him confusingly.
“Stop covering your face when you laugh,” he said. “I can’t see your pretty face.” Peter would always make little comments here and there about you, most of them being compliments. You ought not to make it serious since you’d always tell flirty jokes to each other, but you just can’t help but feel a little flutter in your stomach every time he would compliment you.
You tried covering the increasing redness of your cheeks with laughter. “I’m serious. Stop covering your face,” he told you. “What if I told you I’m doing it on purpose?” you thought of a quick funny remark.  “And why, may I ask, are you doing it on purpose?” he quirked an eyebrow.
“Let’s just say, if you see my beautiful face when I’m laughing, you might just fall in love,” you joked, smirking at him. There was a tinge of the color red in his cheeks, but he was quick to hide it with a chuckle.
“Well, why don’t you let me see your beautiful face then let’s see if I really fall in love?” he remarked. Once again, you laughed because you didn’t know how to respond. Peter was laughing with you when his phone suddenly rang. He quickly stood up, covering the name of the caller with his hand before walking to a private secluded room in his house to answer it. You didn’t mind it. After all, everyone deserved privacy when they’re talking to someone on the phone. Besides, you were actually quite thankful because the phone call interrupted the growing awkwardness in the room. You paused the movie while Peter talked on the phone in the other room.
Minutes passed and you were getting bored of waiting for him. You decided to pull your phone from your jeans pocket and open the Instagram app for a bit. Your feed was pretty much full of your schoolmates that were either busy preparing for prom next friday or busy with the upcoming game on Monday. You scrolled mindlessly, double-tapping each post from your close friends when you stumbled upon a post from her.
Gwen Stacy. Blonde hair, blue eyes, perfect body. The cheer captain, head of the planning committee, the smartest in school… well, not the smartest because that would be Peter… but still the smartest girl in school. Having all that, you’d think she was the type to be the typical mean girl, but no… she’s actually the nicest.
In the picture, she was smiling with the other cheerleaders, their teeth as white as snow and their faces as beautiful as barbie dolls even when they were sweating. Sometimes you just wonder if they ever had a bad hair day or they’re just perfect all the time.
“Please! Gwen, come on!” you heard Peter yell. Gwen? Why was he talking to Gwen Stacy?
“Really? Yes!” you heard him exclaim excitedly. A pang of jealousy hit your chest, the feeling was unwelcome because you knew he wasn’t even yours to begin with. But still, it hurt.
The next thing you heard was his footsteps nearing the door. You collected yourself immediately, greeting him with a smile as he opened the door.
“Sorry about that,” he smiled, with the same fucking smile you fell in love with. He sat next to you on the couch, subtly putting his arm on the back just around where your head was resting. He grabbed the remote from your hand, but for a few seconds, you felt it linger when his hand touched yours.
He pressed the play button and you both continued to watch the movie.
Tumblr media
“Okay, just so we’re clear. You think Peter and Gwen are dating?” your other friend, Mary Jane, iterated on the phone. It was Sunday night, the only time MJ had free time this week since she was also a cheerleader.
“Yes,” you answered clearly. “I heard them talking on the phone the other night. Peter seemed really happy and excited.”
“And what do you feel about that?” she asked.
“Uh–I don’t know?” you admitted.
“I call bull. Come on, I know you’re in love with Peter.”
“Okay. I do have feelings for him… but I don’t think he feels the same about me. He probably asked Gwen to be his prom date even though we promised we’d take each other to the event.”
“So you’re not going to prom anymore?”
“I mean I already have a dress so I guess I’ll still go. It just sucks that I’ll be going without him.”
“Since when did you get a dress?!”
“Uhh… since last week?”
“And you didn’t even tell me?” she made a sound of absolute shock. Knowing her, you knew she probably had her hand on her chest while making that sound. “I could’ve helped you pick.”
“It’s not a problem honestly. Besides, I kinda wanted it to be a surprise?”
“Can you at least tell me the color?” she pleaded.
“Blue. Like the kind of blue in Spider-Man’s suit.”
“Weird way to describe a color. Is there a specific reason why you chose blue? I thought you never liked blue.”
“Okay, I’ll tell you but don’t tell anyone about this because I think Peter is kinda embarrassed about it… Peter is obsessed with Spider-Man. He’s such a huge fan of his–maybe even his number one fan. He even tried to hide it from me, but when I found a Spider-Man suit in his closet he just started getting really nervous and he only stopped when I told him it’s fine if he’s a fan. I’m not judging him, I think Spider-Man is really cool too,” you explained. “I was hoping he’d notice the color reference but now that he’s going with Gwen Stacy, I doubt he would even look at me.”
“You really think Peter would ignore you? Have you seen how that man looks at you?”
“He looks at everyone like that. It’s nothing special,” you denied.
“Listen, believe what you want to believe but I know Peter is definitely in love with you too. But if you did end up alone and out of place at the event, you’re welcome to sit with me.”
“Thanks, but you literally have a date. I don’t wanna be a third wheel,” you laughed. “I appreciate the thought though,” you exchanged goodbyes not long after that, wishing her good luck on their cheer performance.
You thought hard about what she said. Peter did become more clingy to you these last few months and he always made sure to text or call you every day. You guessed there really was a chance Peter shared the same feelings with you.
Maybe he was just talking to Gwen as a friend.
Tumblr media
You were at the gymnasium where you'd have to watch student-athletes pass the ball to each other, all having the same objective to shoot the ball in their respective goals. And when a member of a team claimed their shot, it would repeat all over again.
You were never into sports. If you had a choice, you’d rather stay in bed and continue reading Looking For Alaska, but instead, you were stuck sitting on the bleachers while watching cheerleaders dance their routine in such a flawless manner. As much as you wanted to focus on MJ and support her, your eyes couldn’t help but look at Gwen. She really was mesmerizing.
You were too busy comparing her shiny legs and the way they moved with their short flowy skirts with your simple t-shirt and sneakers to even notice someone sitting beside you.
You continued watching Gwen dance, focusing on her pretty face and realizing that even in her sweaty condition she still kept dazzling everyone in the room with her beautiful smile. You noticed her wink in your direction. For a moment you thought she was winking at you, but when you followed the direction she was smiling at you noticed it was directed at someone beside you—Peter.
Funny. You didn’t even know Peter was beside you.
“Hi?” you greeted, putting your best smile in front of him while your stomach ached from cruel jealousy.
“Hey,” he simply replied, before focusing on the phone he just got out of his pocket. He was busy texting someone.
“So…you already have a suit for Friday?” you asked, trying to start a conversation. He shook his head. “Nope. But I plan on looking later today.”
“Cool. Do you want me to go with you? I don’t have anything to do after this,” you offered.
He stopped and finally looked at you. You noticed how his eyes widened at your question and after mere seconds of looking at your eye, he looked away. He didn’t even need to open his mouth, his body language already told you that he already had someone he was going with.
You felt too sick to even hear his reply, immediately knowing the answer. You excused yourself, going straight to the bathroom to try to compose yourself and your body that was slowly starting to shake. You looked at yourself in the mirror, yelling inside your head to stop the tears that were threatening to fall.
You and Peter were supposed to be inseparable. From childhood up until that moment earlier on the bleachers, you thought you would end up together.
All those years, you have convinced yourself you would be together and told the stars that he belonged with you.
But maybe he belonged with someone else.
And if you truly loved him, who were you to stop him from following his heart?
Tumblr media
The moment you stepped inside the school tomorrow morning, Peter immediately wrapped his arm around your shoulder.
If it was yesterday or the days before, you would’ve loved it and your stomach would’ve already been swarmed with butterflies. But today, all it felt was aching pain.
“Hey,” he kissed your cheek, a thing he always did whenever he saw you at school. “MJ told me you went home early yesterday because you weren’t feeling well. Why didn’t you tell me? I could’ve walked you home.”
“It’s fine, really,” you answered. It wasn’t fine, but how could you tell him he was the reason you couldn’t bear to stay at school yesterday?
“Well, I missed you. You got me really worried.”
And there it was again, the feeling of your heart jumping just from the words he said and how his voice spoke them. Was Gwen even okay with him putting his arm around your shoulder and walking with you in the hallways?
You did your best acting like everything was alright for the rest of today. Peter was busy texting Gwen for most of the time anyway, it wasn’t hard to convince him everything was fine.
Tumblr media
Classes for Wednesday and Thursday were suspended to give way for prom preparations. You didn’t have much to do on Wednesday, so when MJ offered an idea to practice doing makeup and putting on the dresses to prepare for prom, you agreed.
You sat in your room in front of your vanity mirror while MJ did your makeup for you. She matched the eyeshadow with the color of your dress, and you must admit, she did amazing. Next was your hair, you requested it to be an updo, with the hairpins you picked out scattered attractively.
For a moment, you wondered what Peter could be doing right now. His house was just next to yours, his bedroom window facing yours and if you only pulled your curtains aside, you would see him through his window—if it wasn’t covered by his curtains.
Mary Jane snapped you back to reality by complimenting the details of the dress she just pulled out of your closet. “I need to see you in this dress now.”
You chuckled but complied nonetheless. With her help, you carefully put on the dark blue long dress. “Shit. This dress is made for you,” she complimented. It was true, you were indeed a vision. The dress hugged your body perfectly and the details were perfect to your liking. You never liked the color blue, but this dress got you second thinking.
After putting on your heels, you checked yourself out in the mirror when MJ’s phone suddenly rang. “Peter? Hi,” she answered. As soon as she said his name, you turned around to face her.
“Are you okay?” MJ asked Peter. “You sound ill.”
“What’s happening?” you didn’t care anymore if Peter wasn’t talking to you. Something was wrong with him based on MJ’s reaction, and you were concerned.
“Oh my god.”
“MJ, what is it?”
“Something is really wrong with him. I think we need to go to his hou–” she didn’t have the opportunity to finish her sentence when you immediately walked out of your room still in your dress and on your way to Peter’s house. MJ followed you but stayed outside Peter’s house. She smirked the moment you entered his house. Everything was going as planned.
Aunt May was thankfully on vacation somewhere, you couldn’t imagine her reaction if she saw you rushing towards her nephew’s room in a long dress and in heels.
You carefully knocked on his bedroom door, announcing your presence. “Y/N?” he asked and you hummed in response. “I’m in here,” he answered from the next room. As far as you can remember, that room was an empty one. You weren’t sure why Peter was in there but in times of emergencies like this one, you didn’t care. “Can I open the door?” you asked.
“Yes.”
You did not expect what you saw.
The room was dark as a result of the windows being covered. On the floor were littered little candles with your favorite scent lit up to light the room in a romantic manner. There was an area left for you to walk leading to the middle of the room, which had a space just enough for two people. You also noticed the petals of roses scattered on the floor as a string version of your favorite song started playing.
A figure emerged from the shadows—Peter. He offered his hand for you to take and only then when he led you to the middle did the fire from the candles revealed his outfit. He was wearing a suit that perfectly matched the color of your dress. You didn’t know how he knew the exact color of your dress, you would ask him that later.
You were both speechless, neither knowing what to say. “Wow…” he breathed out. “How could a person look so beautiful? You are unreal.”
“Thank you,” you blushed. “You look handsome too.”
He held your hand and guided it towards his lips, placing a soft kiss on the back of it before holding each of your hands with both of his.
“Peter?” you started to say. “What–”
“You know I prepared a whole speech just for this moment,” he interrupted. “And then as soon as I saw you, I just forgot every single thing in the world because you’re the only one that matters.”
Tears were starting to gloss your eyes but before you could start crying from his sentiment, you asked him a question that has been vexing you for quite a while.
“What about Gwen?”
His face was quick to react to your question. His forehead scrunched up, looking at you as if to tell you if you could emphasize your question.
“I thought you were together. You were talking to each other pretty much the whole week. You were texting and calling each other, she was with you when you picked your suit, and then I saw her wink at you at the game.”
His face slowly dawned with realization. As soon as he realized what you were talking about, he couldn’t help but laugh. But upon seeing your worried face, he stopped laughing at once and looked straight into your eyes with absolute seriousness.
“Gwen and I are nothing more than just friends. We are not together. We’ve been talking to each other a lot because I asked her for help on how to surprise you. She also helped me pick the right suit so I wouldn’t embarrass myself with a lousy one. She winked at me at the game because she was excited that after the game ended, we would set up this surprise. And also because I was sitting next to you in the bleachers, she kinda saw me stare at you while you were busy watching the cheer routine. The wink was just her teasing and being excited. It doesn’t mean anything, I swear. It’s only you. I only want you.”
“Shit. So I really just overthought the whole situation,” you chuckled. “I’m so stupid.”
“No, you’re not stupid. Don’t invalidate your feelings, It’s completely understandable. If I was you I’d think the same too.”
After a short moment of soft understanding silence, you felt him stiffen. His hands now held yours a little bit tighter. “Can I ask you a question?” he finally said.
“Let me guess, you want me to be your prom date?” you tried to ease the tension with the obvious question.
“Yes, and no.”
“I don’t understand.”
“I want to take you to prom, yes. But that’s not the only thing I want. I want to take you on dates, I want to dance with you not just at events organized by the school, I want to buy you flowers, every day if I can; I want to watch scary movies with you and laugh when you’re too scared and you hide yourself with a pillow, I want to watch sad movies with you and bring you tissues and cuddle you the moment you cry, I want to watch romantic movies with you and cringe together when the characters do something embarrassing and wrap my arms around you when you blush at something sweet that they do. I want the tears, the pain, the frustration, the confusion, the sweetness, the laughter—everything. I want everything. With you.”
“Pete…”
“We’re seniors. Next year, we’re going to college. We will take on different paths and places, but before that even happens, I want you to be my place that’s never changing. And if you feel the same, I want to be your place that’s never changing too. You have been my best friend since we were kids, and I don’t want my memory of us to be just two people being friends since childhood,” he said before resting his forehead against yours. “I am in love with you, Y/N L/N. Would you be willing to enter a relationship that’s more than friends with me?”
Tears glossed over your eyes again, but this time, you let one fall. Peter was quick to wipe it with his hand. “Tell me you don’t feel the same and I will not hold it against you. Tell me you don’t feel the same and I will not cross the line of being more than friends. Know that I will not force you into a relationship you do not want. Tell me if you don’t feel the same and I–”
“Yes,” you stopped him before he could finish his sentence. “The answer is yes. I am in love with you as well, Peter Parker. I have been for a long time.”
Peter smiled, now feeling his own tears try to escape his eyes but he didn’t let them fall. “May I dance with you?”
You chuckled but agreed, letting him guide you into position. Your forearms rested on his shoulders, your hands softly stroking the back of his neck while his hands were positioned at both sides of your waist. As the music still played in the background, you both started swaying.
“I can’t take my eyes off of you. You’re gorgeous,” he commented. “You don’t look so bad yourself. Your suit even matched my dress,” you said back.
“I’ll have to thank MJ for that.”
“Wait–MJ is a part of this?”
“Of course, she is. How’d you think I knew the color of your dress?”
You suddenly remembered the conversation you had with MJ when she asked you about the color of your dress. And then you also remembered that MJ was the reason why you were even inside Peter’s house right now in the first place. Peter called her and then she said that something was wrong with him and urged you to come here. Where was she even now anyways?
Peter laughed as he watched your face change from confusion to realization. “You know what–I’ll give it to y’all. You, Gwen, and MJ are good at this,” you admitted.
“The dressing up with our prom outfits and dancing was my idea though,” he spoke as he guided you into a spin. “I wanted our first dance to be private, not in a room filled with other students.”
You saw him glance at your lips for a moment before looking back into your eyes. “I also want to do this,” he said as he leaned in closer and met your lips with his.
You’ve imagined this moment ever since your heart started beating for him. But still, the feeling of his lips against yours for real was better than what you’d imagined it to be. The kiss was soft but intimate, neither of you having a need to rush into things but at the same time making up for lost time pining over each other silently. You wished you could kiss him forever and stay like this but you eventually needed to pull away to breathe.
“So, you really thought I was in love with Gwen?” he teased while you were catching your breath.
“Way to ruin the moment,” you chuckled, lightly punching his arm before nodding.
“Shit. I really made you jealous?” he seemed really proud of what he had done from the way he was smirking.
“Are you happy?” you jokingly asked, rolling your eyes with fake annoyance.
“Am I happy? Of course, I am. I just kissed you.”
You couldn’t find the words to reply as you blushed harder than you’d ever blushed before. Instead, you just laughed out of blissful happiness.
For the first time ever, he saw you laugh without covering your face and it was the most beautiful sight he’s ever seen. He couldn’t help but kiss you again.
Needless to say, the future was exciting.
If only he could tell you that he was Spider-Man.

Ever since Peter had asked Strange to wipe the entire world’s memory of him, things had been… uneventful to say the least. He studied, he worked two boring jobs for a low minimum wage, and he visited May’s grave every afternoon.
There wasn’t much else to do when nobody knew him as Peter Parker.
Sometimes, he’d go out in his itchy, make-shift spider suit that he’d fashioned with bright fabrics from a corner store that also sold his most favorite orange-flavored popsicles, stopping common crime as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
Other than that… he slept. He played Crossy Road on his phone—or he’d rewatch the Star Wars movies for the billionth time.
He thought of his best friends, Ned and MJ. He thought of his brothers, Peter 2 and 3. He thought of his Aunt May, and Happy, who visited her grave almost as frequently as he did. He thought of the closest thing he had to a father figure, Tony Stark. He thought of Mr. Stark’s oldest kid—which he used to refer to as his significant other.
The love of his life.
Y/N Stark.
Peter missed you. He missed you more than anything in the entire world. He missed your wide smile and the specific way you’d throw your head back and laugh so hard you’d be grabbing onto his arm, gasping for breath. He missed how you’d press your chest into his back and kiss along his neck while he did his physics homework, quietly mumbling corrections to his calculations when he’d distractedly scribbled down the wrong formula. He missed how Mr. Stark would pull him to the side to give him the ‘Responsible Dad Talk’ just about every time the two of you hung out together, and how you’d have to tell your dad that you could make your own decisions and you didn’t need him to hover over the two of you.
Besides, you used to say with a soft smile, it’s Peter. You know Peter. He’s… he’s Peter. He’d never hurt me, pops.
But he did hurt you. He erased all the memories you had together—he completely wiped himself out of your life.
You loved him—and he had taken that away from you.
“I love you,” you had whispered into him as you hugged him tight, a tear slipping down the corner of your misty eyes. Peter wrapped his arms around your waist and held you all the closer. “Come back to me, Peter. Or… or I swear to fucking God—I’ll find you myself and—”
Your words died on your tongue as he surged forward and kissed you, hard and desperate. The kiss tasted of salt from your tears, of coppery blood from his throbbing, split lip. Neither of you cared.
You hiccupped a sob when he reluctantly pulled away, pressing one last kiss to your grimy forehead, before letting you go entirely. He turned before he could see you crumpling into MJ and Ned, who had roped you into a pained embrace, your shoulders trembling with wracking cries.
That was five months ago. Five months after Strange wiped everybody’s memories of him.
He’d wanted to find you again—he really did. Obviously, you were an extremely busy person, not only being the oldest kid of Tony Stark, but also a genius student, a researcher, the heir of an entire company, and an older sibling to Morgan. But, if he was completely honest, he didn’t really know what to say.
Hey, I’m Peter Parker and I’m in love with you, but I never got the chance to tell you because this wizard that’s sort of a friend of your dad’s erased everyone’s memory of me because the multiverse broke and a bunch of bad guys from other universes slipped into ours because I ruined my friend’s chances of getting into their dream college—
Yeah. That wouldn’t really work out, would it?
So he put it off.
Put it off for a week, which rolled into two, which became three, which became three months.
All of a sudden, it was summer, and he still hadn’t seen you.
He made sure to go to the coffee shop MJ worked at, just to see how she and Ned were faring. From what he heard while he eavesdropped—they were doing great at MIT.
Peter tried his best to keep up with you through those news articles that kept flashing him ads like You Wouldn’t Believe What This Celebrity Looks Like Without Makeup! or Learn All About Steve Rogers’ Exercise Routine!
There wasn’t much that he could find about you, other than a couple pictures of you with your little sister, Morgan, chowing down on cheeseburgers at McDonald’s. After all, you’d always been a rather private person, which was the one jarring difference between you and your infamously public father.
Your social medias were, expectedly, all privated. Peter doubted you’d accept his follow request, anyway.
It was an ordinary Tuesday—Peter had a shift at a car garage in a couple hours, which left him quite a bit of time to burn. He had ACDC softly playing in the background—a band that both you and your dad had been completely infatuated with—half a dozen books spread out around him as he multi-tasked studying new chemical compounds for his web fluid, and rotational mechanics for an upcoming exam.
Then, much to his surprise, the doorbell rang.
It’s probably the landlord, Peter thought with a grimace, thinking of the old woman who always had a cigarette between her coarse fingers, despite her own strict policy of no smoking in the building. He turned the music down to a low thrum, before swinging the door open.
And… there you were.
Peter could feel his heart drop to the floor.
You were… God, you were beautiful. There wasn’t much about you that changed—you got a new pair of glasses, he could see, and you’d cut your hair shorter. There was a tattoo peeking slightly out of your loose-hanging t-shirt etched over your skin, depicting a sketch of an arc reactor, in memory of your late father.
Besides that, you were the very same. The same bright, intelligent eyes, the same lips that puckered ever so slightly to the side in thought, and the same brows that knitted together whenever you were concentrating.
Your hands were shoved into your jeans as you cocked your head, studying him with narrowed eyes.
“Erm,” Peter started, mouth opening and closing as his brain struggled to comprehend that you were here. In the flesh. Fuck, you were gorgeous. “Wh… Y/N?”
Your eyebrow arched high up, closer to your hairline. “First name basis already, huh?”
“I’m—”
“You’re the Spiderling, aren’t you?” you asked abruptly, nearly giving him whiplash. Before he could say anything else, you were swiping your phone open, a hologram of a Youtube video playing right in front of his face. The video displayed Spider-Man swinging from building to building, stopping a car from ramming into an elderly woman crossing the street with nothing but brute strength. Peter didn’t even remember that happening. To him, that was just an ordinary day. “That must’ve been, what—like, thirty-five hundred pounds, about fifty miles an hour? Impressive.”
“Wh—”
You brushed past him into his tiny apartment. Peter cursed himself for not throwing away the pizza boxes stacked on his kitchen counter, and for leaving his sketches of web shooters out on his desk.
A small smile graced your lips as you spotted the blue and red scrap fabrics discarded into the trash can. “Hm. You make your own suit? My dad did, too. God—are those goggles?” You picked up his vision goggles from his unmade bed, peering through them as you snorted in amusement. “How on earth do you see anything though these?”
“I—”
You turned to him with an intrigued grin. “I’m sure you already know who I am, seeing as you knew my dad. It’s nice to finally meet you, Spiderling.”
Peter blinked. The overwhelming sense of deja vu washed over him like a tidal wave—you were behaving eerily similar to when Mr. Stark had approached him to go to Germany back in 2016.
“I… how…”
“What’s your name?” you asked, gingerly stepping over his textbooks to stare at his pinboard, where his calendar hung.
“Peter,” he finally mumbled in reply, shaking his head to clear his thoughts. “And it’s Spider-Man, not Spiderling. What are you doing here? I mean, not that I don’t want you here, but, uhm—how did you find me?”
You looked over your shoulder with a knowing glint to your eyes. “I keep tabs on everybody my dad used to work with. Honestly, it wasn't too difficult to track you down—given the radius of where Spider-Man usually frequents and his response times to local crimes, it was easy to pinpoint where you lived. After my AI ran a couple voice recognition tests and estimated bodily proportions, that led me right to you.” You leaned against his rickety wooden desk with a curious grin. “Thought you’d be a bit older, though. Looks like you’re around my age.”
“I… that’s… wow.”
Wrinkling your nose in amusement, you turned back to his full calendar.
Peter prayed you wouldn’t flip over to your birthday month—he’d circled your birthday with bright red sharpie and drew loopy hearts all over the little square. Thankfully, you stopped skimming through, pausing at the relatively empty weeks where he had nothing planned other than a few work shifts.
“Looks like you’re free from school in a couple weeks,” you said. “I know this is really sudden and very abrupt of me, but—I’d love to offer you a job at Stark Labs. You must be crazy smart to design synthetic webs with a Young’s modulus that’s off the charts. Could really use that brain of yours at my company. Plus, you’ve got a lot of work experience in the bag.”
There was a beat of silence. Peter stared at you with parted lips.
A bit more timidly, you added on, “And… it’d be nice to work with someone that knew my dad.”
Well, Peter didn’t want to brag, but he’d definitely say that he didn’t only just know Tony Stark. But you didn’t need to know that right at this moment.
“Yes,” he blurted out, a bit louder than necessary. “Are you kidding me? That’s… that’s amazing! Yeah, oh my God, I’d love to! Thank you!”
Before he could stop himself, his body moved out of pure muscle memory and excitement, stepping forward to wind his arms around you, squeezing you tightly. Your familiar perfume made his eyes well with tears—fuck, he missed you so fucking much.
“Oh—” you began to say, muscles tensing. “Okay, then. You’re welcome, pal.”
Rouge flushed hotly over his cheeks as he realized that you weren’t his significant other anymore—in your mind, this was the first time the two of you were meeting. Quickly, he let you go, backing away with a grimace.
“Sorry,” he winced. “Sorry, I just—”
“Have we met before?” you asked, cutting him off. “I don’t know… it just feels like… nevermind. I’d probably remember a cute face like yours.”
Peter’s face burned an even brighter shade of red.
“Here’s my contact information. I’ll send you any contracts, NDAs, legality issues, dates for any research projects you might be interested in joining, payment negotiations, all that jazz,” you told him, placing a card onto his desk. “I look forward to working with you, Patrick.”
“Peter,” he corrected.
A smile played with the corner of your lips. “Right. Peter. Nice music taste, by the way. I love ACDC—I can see why my dad liked you so much.”
With that, you ambled over his scattered belongings on the floor, flashing him one last beam, before striding straight out the door.
Peter stared at the open doorway for a minute—or was it an hour? He really couldn’t tell.
He collapsed into his bed, the goggles you’d dangled digging into his back. He arched up just enough to pull it away, clutching it to his chest with a goofy smile.
You found him.
Against all odds, you’d found him.
Fuck, Peter loved you so much.
Telling you though—now that was a different story entirely. One that Peter knew was going to take time.
But for you…
He’d wait centuries.

It was only October 7th and you we're already a stuffy snotty sticky mess from the sudden drop of temperature outside.
It was cold outside, but the light from your wooden bedroom windows sunbathed the room, brightening your pale complexion.
tissues were plastered all over your messy bed and your phone was constantly dinging with messages from your group chat. you didn't show up to work, or to school that day, and by the looks of your random naps and binge watches on Netflix, you had forgot to call anyone to let them know you couldn't make it, including your boyfriend peter.
you kept coughing which made your head pulsate more as you wrapped your blanket around you and curled into it, squirming and desperately trying to get comfortable.
he was always super protective of you. sometimes it was really annoying but it felt good to know he was always thinking of you. and thats probably an understatement.
you felt sick. that might've been a blunt word, but everytime you tried to swallow your own spit it hurt like hell and you felt your head beating in pain like a heart would pump blood.
you groan and pull your comforter back over your head before you flutter your eyes closed and try to get your mind off the pain in your throat. It burned everytime you breathed which made you hiss uncomfortably. You eventually get yourself to fall asleep (after way too many doses of NyQuil) with half of your body immersed in your pillow.
you rested softly for a few hours before you woke to the sound of peter climbing through your window. you're eyes could barely adjust to the light as your tried to look up to see who it was, but your body was too tired to try and shake yourself up.
he rolled on the floor after falling from your complicated window sill but quickly got up with a groan.
he puffs, dusting him self off as he looks around the room for his girl.
"love?" peter looked around curiously to find you laying in your bed.
he carefully knelt down and shook you slightly as you woke up again with a jump.
you cough. "jesus, peter. you scared the shit out of me." you shift your arms behind you to prop yourself up, as he tucks a piece of your hair that fell back behind your ear.
"sorry," he laughs. "i just got really worried. I came as soon as I could. are you alright? why weren't you at school? or work- MJ said you didn't come."
his smile turns into a concerned perplexed look.
"uh", you sit up and rub your eye, coughing.
he noticed you sweating, and your puffy red eyes and a nose rubbed red.
"are you feeling okay?" his eyes and face look soft for you as his lip pouted a little.
he comes closer to you, kneeling down as he rests his hand on your forehead gently. you press your lips together and sniffle.
"pete, im fine."
"but- you're burning up!" he adds, as you look away from him.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier? i could've taken school off or-"
"peter." you look up.
"no." you croak, "i would never let you do that."
He puffs his cheeks and breathes out as he sits with you in your bed. You look in your boyfriends eyes as he turns his head to examine you.
"you don't look well, sweets." he frowns as he kisses the top of your forehead.
"i know", you say as you sniffle and your face starts to tickle a little.
he hands you a tissue as you sneeze in your sleeves. "bless you." he rests his tongue to the side of his mouth.
spidey senses.
"you okay?" he looks at you.
"mhm", you purse your lips.
you blow your nose as he looks at your face again.
"you gonna let me take care of you?" he holds his breath in worry.
you shake your head. "no."
he frowns again. "but you're sick! you're my girlfriend I can't just leave you here." He seems stressed, folding his his hands on your arms.
you cough and add, "i don't want you to get sick. plus, you have patrol tonight."
he shakes his head. "no way, im staying."
"No." you look in his eyes.
"Yes." he nods.
"No, peter."
"Yes, y/n." he crosses his arms.
you sigh.
"im staying right here." He says determinedly as he wraps his arms around you from behind and rests his chin on your shoulder. worry chilled up his spine for you.
"okay," you give up. "its cold anyway." you couldn't resist him. you didn't want him to patrol in the this insane cold weather anyways.
you pull a sweatshirt over your head.
"movie?" we whispers. "i'll get you snacks." he rubs your back softly.
you sweat a little and try to swallow.
you smile a little, "okay."
coughing, he rubs your arm. "are you okay?" he looks at you worriedly.
"im fine, my body just hurts."
he pulls you in a hug before kissing your head and leaving the room to go to the kitchen.
he gets back almost instantly with a bag of candy and popcorn, setting it on the bed and a mug of hot tea for your throat on the bedside table.
"can i get you anything else?" he looked sad.
your heart warmed and hurt at the same time.
"no, im okay."
he places a bowl of soup down next to the mug as you lean over to take it and sip it gently.
he lays in your bed as you open your laptop to the same crime documentary.
"again?" he groans, shifting his neck up against the pillow as he scrunches his face, looking at the ceiling.
as you giggle he looks up to see your smile which made his stomach hurt.
"yes, again." you try to hold back your lips from curling into a laugh.
he sighs and clicks the play button on your computer.
you rest your head on his chest, snuggling into him as he lays his arm around you, intertwining your hand into his.
"love you." he whispers in your hair softly, tucking a kiss to the back of your head.

that’s the thing (e.l)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I ACCIDENTALLY POSTED THE DRAFT AND LOST THE ASK 😭😭😭 (but here u go anon if u find this 🙏)
contains: swearing, fluff, smut 18+ (oral, fingering, slight overstimulation)
spiderman!ethan landry x fem!reader
based off you’re here that’s the thing by beabadoobee 🙏
Ethan definitely screwed up.
He swings across the city in tight spandex. “Fuck, fuck, fuck!” Ethan exclaimed, speedily typing on his phone, but you wouldn’t respond.
Being the friendly neighborhood Spiderman, he always had priorities—but that didn’t stop him from spending time with you. Knowing this, you forgave him every time he’d miss something.
Well, that jinxed it. On the lookout, he had completely forgotten about your date, Ethan—being the dork with the heart of gold, thought this would be the last straw for you.
Ethan often thought about this every time he’d be swinging around New York just to make it up to you. One reason why he’d always make it up to you is because he felt like he should, or must.
The second reason why is because it always ends in something wonderful—whether it’s him sleeping over, or the other way around, or something else that would have the boy completely whipped.
Then he spotted you, wearing his jacket you ‘forgot’ to return. His whole world seemed to stop—that was until he remembered the fact that he left you waiting.
A bunch of people backed away when Ethan took you with him. “It’s the spider dude!” Someone near you exclaimed.
“What? Oh my god!” You exclaim, swiftly sliding your hands around his neck. “I am so SO sorry that I left you waiting, okay? I was on the lookout, I completely forgot about our date, I’m really sorry, I REALLY AM!” He exclaimed, talking fast, then you pointed at a pole that was about to hit his head.
Once Ethan was about to dodge it, it hits the top of his head instead. His grip tightened till he swinged back to your dorm—though weakly.
He yanks his mask off and leans back on your bed.
“Less talking, more swinging.” You sigh, grabbing the sides of his face—then you kissed him, your lips moving in sync. He could taste the fruity lipgloss you had put on. Ethan's eyes widened in surprise as you pulled away. He blinked a few times, trying to process the unexpected turn of events.
Then a smile was on his face, pulling you back. Deepening the kiss.
“Being a superhero’s girlfriend isn’t that hard,” You frown, then he kisses more again before you continue, “But seriously, you have to change out of this shit.” Ethan kept a hand on your waist, “Actions speak louder than words, right?”
You jump as Ethan quickly jumps under your bed, your roommate bursting in. “Hey, I’ll be leaving you alone here for a while since I’ve got somewhere to go.” You nod, then they wave, “See ya.” And leave.
Quickly falling on your bed as Ethan uses his webs to lock the door, “This is really cute,” He holds up your diary, the drawing of Spider-Man you made on a sticky note during a lecture. “Can I keep it?”
“Change first.” He rolled his eyes at your command.
He quickly changed into his normal clothes after slipping off the spandex. “Dammit,” He exclaimed as he checked his backpack for flowers he was gonna give you—there were flowers, but only a few, the petals flying away instantly.
Walking into the living room, Ethan uses his webs to snatch the remote from your hands, “We’re watching a movie, because I have to make it up to you,” Then handing you the somewhat ruined bouquet of flowers. “Eth, you shouldn’t have.” You teased then grabbed his camera from the table.
“Try and take a picture of me holding these, that’s how you can make it up to me.” Ethan takes the camera from you then more words come from your mouth, “Although you’re already here, that’s how you can make it up to me.”
The camera flashes in your face as you cover the lower half of your face with the flowers—then laying down on the couch with Ethan as the movie starts playing.
“You know,” says Ethan, “I’m really glad I forgot about our date today,” You frown, then he chuckles, “It led to this and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
You both chuckle at his words then you shower his face with kisses. Ethan quickly pulled you down to kiss his lips. The movie was long forgotten soon after that.
His lips crashed into yours once again, then his nails dig in your thighs as you straddle him.
“Maybe because you knew it would lead to this,” You mumble against his lips, his other hand running down your spine like an instrument. Ethan broke the kiss to move down to your jawline—then your neck.
His hands tapping on your lower back as you pulled away. “You’re a sneaky one.” You pressed a kiss to the tip of his nose, then Ethan let out a breathy laugh, “I’m Spiderman, of course I’m sneaky.”
“But I love Ethan Landry more.” Right after Ethan takes quite a few minutes to process your words, he pulls you in by your waist to kiss you once again.
You wrap your arms around his neck as his fingers dig into your hips.
He mumbles against your lips, “I want you,” He starts to smoothly put a little tongue in the kiss, then when your lips part even more for permission, it slips in. You hum against his lips as Ethan slowly grinds into you.
You pull away and smile, he drags his thumb over your bottom lip, you try to kiss him again, but he keeps a hand on your chest to stop you. “Can I go down on you?” The question makes your eyes widen as you turn beet red. Ethan’s stupid puppy eyes made you nod, and the smirk felt good to kiss off.
His arms placed you back on the couch, the needy boy got on his knees. Ethan gives you a deep kiss, then he moves down your jaw, he leaves a mark on your collarbone.
It goes from your chest, to your belly, and he reaches your clothed core. Ethan looks up at you and you lick your lips.
The boy pulls down your panties and starts with kissing your inner thighs. The sneaky little thing was always a tease, it pained you slightly but you know you love him.
Ethan presses a wet kiss to your left thigh, sucking on it. His breath fans over your core and you shudder.
He presses a kiss to your clit, then makes his way down to your entrance—licking up then burying his face in between your thighs. Your back arched at the pleasure.
In the early stages of your relationship, you had always told him what felt good, and he made it feel even better.
Your legs threaten to lock around his head, but his big hands hold your hips down. You were basically squirming, and he was only trying to drive himself away from the spot you wanted him to stay on.
Ethan harshly sucks on your clit, circling it with his tongue. You feel like you’re close, VERY close. Without warning, his middle finger enters you and that makes you lift your head up and whine in pleasure, you could feel him smile against your core.
“God, don’t stop.” You say breathlessly, and while muffled, you could still hear him, “I won’t,” He pulls away with a pop, “Trust me.” He dives right back in as soon as he finishes.
When his ring finger enters, your body felt limp and like everything slowed down for a minute.
The hot feeling down your stomach was heating up.
When his nose bumped into your clit, along with his ring finger entering the chaos, that feeling hit it’s peak.
Though Ethan didn’t stop, he kept lapping up your juices—it felt so overwhelming. Your hips were basically jolting up out of instinct.
You shuddered under his touch, he reaches up for your hand and laces his fingers with yours.
When Ethan finally pulled away, he crawled back on top of you and pushed away a stray strand of hair. He didn’t say anything, he just smiled. You know you’d forgive him for missing a date either way, the only way he could make it up to you is just being there.
He presses a soft kiss to your lips, then he mumbles in between kisses, “I’m not done yet,” Your eyes blink open as he pulls away, the taste of yourself lingering on your tongue. “I wonder how people would feel if they find out their friendly neighborhood Spiderman was a pro at not only superhero-ing, but this.” says Ethan.
You chuckle and pull him back in for another, when he breaks the contact he takes the square foil out of his pocket and smirks at you, then places it on the table next to you both. He tries to kiss you again
You grab it from the table, “I’m not on the pill, babe,” You assure him, he shrugs then takes it from your hand. He sticks the tip of his tongue out when he struggles to open it. You laugh at Ethan, and open it yourself. “I’ll be your walking stick tomorrow,” he whispers to your ear.
You were in for a long night.

It explained the first time you found him limping and bleeding on an alley, and it explains how you evolved into his personal caretaker for the wounds and afflictions of Spider-Man's after battle consequences.
The only thing it doesn't explain, however, is why through the thick and convoluted webs of your strange situationship, a certain tension has built between you two. Palpable. Physical. As electric as some of his tales, and as dangerous as he is.
The tension between you and Spidey grows, and it grows, and it grows. One day, it snaps.

You gasped when Hobie came up from behind you and smoothed his hands over your hips. His chocolate brown eyes sparkled beneath the dim light of your bathroom as he sighed.
“Lookin’ good, doll,” he purred, his lips ghosting over the shell of your ear. You bit your lip as you gazed at your shared reflection. Your hair was pulled back with a few colorful barrettes, several earrings adorning your lobes and a thick, black choker with a heart-shaped charm latched around your neck.
“You don’t think it’s too much?” you asked nervously as you slowly turned towards him, the bracelets on your wrists jingling with your movement. Hobie hummed as he hungrily scanned you up and down, admiring each and every dip and curve of your body.
“Nah, it's perfect,” he grinned ear to ear. “You're perfect,” Hobie whispered as he cupped your cheek. You shivered a little as he gently massaged your lovehandles as he pecked your forehead. You blushed as you slid your hands onto his thin shoulders.
"Really?" you murmured. Your boyfriend smiled as he kept his hands on your waist.
“Really,” he whispered. Your heart skipped a beat as he closed the gap between you two, his warm, plush lips caressing yours in a tender embrace. You squeaked as he slid his hand down and squeezed one of your plump asscheeks.
“Hobie,” you squeaked as you ducked your head into his shoulder.
“Sorry, lovie. Just can’t help myself sometimes,” he chuckled with a mischievous smirk. You raised a brow as you playfully flicked his arm.
“Mhm,” you replied before giggling quietly as he kissed the tip of your nose.
“You almost ready to head out?” Hobie asked. You smiled and nodded before grabbing your wallet.
“No need for that, love. I'll take care of everythin’,” he grinned. You blinked and gripped your wallet.
“Are you sure?” you asked as you nervously bit your lip. Hobie nodded, his mouth curved into a warm smile.
“‘Course. I wanna spoil my girl tonight,” he winked and smoothed his hands over your hips again. Your heart warmed as you slowly set your wallet down.
"Thank you, baby," you smiled and pulled him into a tight hug. Hobie sighed as he rubbed your back.
"Welcome. Now...how does ramen sound for dinner tonight?" he smiled. Your heart leapt as your face brightened.
"Sounds amazing," you giggled while squeezing his hand. Hobie grinned as he gave a small nod, his long strides leading the two of you out of your shared flat.
"By the way, there's a new boba shop that just opened up nearby. You wanna head over there before we eat?" he asked, your interlocked hands swaying while the two of you walked down the bustling London streets. You tilted your head as you thought for a moment.
"Well...boba's usually pretty sweet, so maybe we could save it for dessert?" you suggested while gazing into his warm, alluring eyes.
"Sounds good to me," your boyfriend grinned. His high-laced boots thudded against the pavement while the two of you continued your stroll. You sighed and rested your head on his shoulder as the two of you waited at a pedestrian crossing.
"You alright?" Hobie asked while rubbing his thumb over your knuckles. You nodded and slowly opened your eyes.
"Yeah - just happy that I finally get to spend some time with you," you said with a gentle smile. Your lover's eyes softened as he pulled you closer to his side, your bodies pressed against one another as he pecked the crown of your head. You blinked as several people began to pass the two of you as the crossing sign blinked.
"Guess that's our cue," Hobie chuckled. You giggled as he lead you down the sidewalk. Your eyes lit up when you saw the soft glow of Yamashiro's Ramen House gleam on the pavement below. A young man at the cash register smiled as the two of you stepped inside.
"いらっしゃいませ!" he chirped [Welcome!]. You reflected his friendly smile as the two of you stepped up.
"Hi, Shinji!" you replied. You heard some ruckus in the kitchen before a middle-aged man stepped out, his apron stained and crows-feet crinkling at the corners of his eyes.
"Hello, Mr. Yamashiro!" you smiled brightly.
"Ah, Hobie and (Y/N)! My favorite customers!" he said with outstretched arms.
"You say that about all of your customers," Shinji muttered. Mr. Yamashiro shot his nephew a glare before he instructed him to seat the two of you.
"I hope the two of you are ready for the house special tonight!" the owner beamed before shuffling back into the kitchen. You and Hobie exchanged glances while sliding into a booth.
"What's the house special?" you asked Shinji. The young man leaned forward as he handed you the menus.
"It's just the regular Sapporo ramen he makes but with a secret ingredient," he whispered.
"Shinji!" Mr. Yamashiro called. The waiter flinched before giving the two of you a short bow.
"Excuse me," he said before rushing to greet a group of high-school students, all of them stuffed into their preppy uniforms. You smiled as you turned towards Hobie, your hands finding each other under the table.
"What're you thinkin' of gettin', doll?" he hummed as his eyes scanned the menu. You pursed your lips and shrugged.
"Just the usual," you replied. Hobie raised a brow. "What?" you giggled.
"Not gonna venture out, eh?" he teased with a smirk. You playfully poked your tongue out at him as you closed your menu.
"You know me and trying new things at restaurants. It usually doesn't end well..." you sighed and crossed your ankles, your flats clicking against the floor. The group of highschoolers passed the two of you, a few of them wrinkling their noses as they looked you up and down. You shrunk a little beneath their gaze and shifted in your seat.
"Fair 'nough," your boyfriend grinned as Shinji came back to your tables with two glasses of water.
"Are we ready?" the young waiter asked as he flipped over to a new page on his notepad. You smiled and nodded.
"I'll have the regular Sapporo ramen, please," you chirped.
"I'll do the Okinawa Soba with spice level five, please," Hobie sniffed. Shinji nodded as he took down your orders.
"Great! And what to drink?" he asked.
"Water's fine," you and Hobie replied at the same time. You giggled and gently nudged the tip of his boot with your shoe. He squeezed your hand in return with a small tug at the corner of his mouth.
"Excellent. I'll bring your food out as soon as possible," Shinji beamed. You watched as he stepped away before turning back to your love.
"I'm surprised she didn't order the whole menu," one of the highschoolers snorted nearby while staring at you. Your cheeks burned as you looked down at your lap. Hobie turned and glared at the group of boys. Their smiles fell as they ducked their heads.
"Arseholes," he muttered. You gave him a small smile, your heartrate slowing down as you uncrossed your ankles.
"There's a lightshow at the park a block over. You wanna go after this?" you asked. Hobie sighed as he leaned forward, his hand still gently holding yours beneath the table.
"I don't know. Sounds pretty boring," he said while tilting his head. You furrowed your brows before he started to snicker, one of his eyes cracked open and tongue slightly poking out.
"Cheeky thing," you giggled and rolled your eyes. Hobie chuckled as he relaxed in his seat.
"I'd love to go, babe," he replied sincerely this time. "Then maybe we could stop for boba on the way back," Hobie added. The two of you continued to chat as you waited and through eating dinner. Meanwhile, you caught the group of highschoolers staring at you and snickering to themselves. Their nagging began to gnaw at you as the broth in your ramen bowl grew lower and lower.
"Man, that was good," Hobie sighed and patted his lean stomach. You nodded, your eyelids drooping a little as you felt the post-meal sleepiness hit you. Your boyfriend grunted as he tilted his head side to side before slipping out of the booth.
"I'll go 'head and pay up front. Gotta use the loo before we head out," he murmured. You gave a small nod and watched as he walked to the front counter, the chains on his jeans jingling as he pulled out his wallet. Hobie soon disappeared into the bathroom just as several of the high school boys came up to your table. You blinked.
"Can I help you?" you asked. They all snorted and laughed as they held a big bowl of ramen towards you.
"'Well, we noticed that you ran out of food - would you like some of ours?" a dirty blonde snorted as he forcefully shoved it at you. You frowned and scooted away, your shoulders folding into your chest as you glanced at the table.
"I'm fine, thank you," you replied.
"Aw, don't be shy. We saw how you scarfed that other bowl down," a brunette piped up. You blushed and bit the inside of your cheek as you felt trapped where you sat.
"Good thing she's sitting in a booth, 'cause she'd probably break one of the chairs if she tried to sit in 'em!" another barked. They all howled laughed while tears began to line the corners of your eyes.
"The bloody hell's goin' on here?" Hobie rumbled, his voice stern and cold. The group of boys stiffened as they slowly turned around. The look of fury on your boyfriend's face was completely chilling: his nostrils flared and eyes wide. His knuckles cracked as he stared down each and every one of the young boys.
“You all sayin’ shit to my girl?” Hobie growled as he strolled up to the one holding the extra ramen bowl. The schoolboy gasped as Hobie towered over him, his lean muscles tensing beneath his jean jacket as he sneered.
"N-No," he trembled. Hobie crossed his arms as he narrowed his arms.
"Then mind your own goddamn business and fuck off," he snarled and tilted his head towards the door. You've never seen someone scramble away that quickly, the group tossing some money at Shinji before rushing over top of one another to get out the door.
“Wankers, all of 'em,” he huffed and shook his head. Your love parted his lips as a single tear fell down your cheek. “Love?” he asked as he wiped the loose tear falling down your cheek. You swallowed the lump growing in your throat as he knelt down. His face was so warm and gentle as he cupped your cheek, his metal rings cool against your hot cheeks.
"Oi, whatever those arseholes said to their, they're fuckin' wrong. You're a knockout, okay?" Hobie said firmly. You sniffed and glanced away.
"I know," you sighed. Hobie kissed your hand, your eyes drifting back to his face.
"I know you know...but you need to hear it, too," he smiled and laid your palm against his sharp cheek. Your heart skipped a beat as he kissed along the side of your hand.
"Thanks, baby," you cooed. Hobie grinned as he grabbed your hand.
“How about we go to the park now, yeah?” he suggested while you rose to your feet. The burning feeling in your cheeks began to fade as your heart felt lighter.
"Yeah," you grinned and wiped at your eyes.

"There's so many people here!" you gaped as the two of you walked through the park. A whole crowd gathered in the amphitheater, the whole area filled with idle chatter while your eyes wandered across the spacious park. You gasped when you accidentally ran into someone. “Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!” you said. A tall, beefy man raised a brow at you, his eyes locking on the cleavage that peeked out of your tank top.
“Watch where you’re going…slut,” he muttered as he began to walk away.
“Watch where you’re standin’, you prick,” Hobie instantly snapped back. The man flared his nostrils before quickly turning on his heel. You gasped when he pushed Hobie back.
“You wanna run that by me again?” the large man growled. Hobie kept himself in front of you, his hand reaching behind him to make sure there was enough distance. Your heart dropped as the man stared Hobie down, his form towering over both of you. He stood up straight when a blonde woman rested her hand on his forearm.
“Hey, babe. I was wondering where you wandered off to,” she chirped as she soothingly rubbed his arm and gave you an apologetic look. He eventually grunted and stepped back.
“Sorry. Just got…distracted,” he flashed a scowl at the two of you before being tugged away by his lover. You sighed with relief while Hobie pulled you to his side.
“You okay?” he asked softly and he pulled you into a tight hug. You nodded and nuzzled your face into his chest. You bit your lip as fear struck through your heart.
“You didn’t have to defend me like that. What if he hurt you?” you pouted as you pulled back. Hobie gazed into your eyes softly as he cupped your chin.
“It would’ve been worth it,” he murmured softly as he rested his forehead against yours. Your eyes lit up as your heart melted on the spot.
“Aw, Hobie,” you cooed and pecked his lips. You gasped when the music started to roar from the amphitheater and streams of lights danced across the park. “It’s starting!” you shouted excitedly as you grabbed his hand. Hobie chuckled as you pulled him towards some empty spots at the top of the amphitheater, your soft skirt swaying in the wind as you quickly made your way towards the seats. You smoothed your hands over your skirt as Hobie sank onto the bench, his long legs sprawled out in front of him.
“Wow,” you breathed as the lights before you gracefully moved back and forth to the beat of the upbeat pop music. Hobie smiled as he rested his hand over yours, the shiny rings snug on his fingers sliding over your knuckles. You rested your head on his shoulder and sighed, the stress from earlier dissipating as you soaked in his presence.
A slow song eventually came on, the sun having disappeared a while ago past the city skyline as the lights shined brighter than ever. You blinked when he slowly wrapped his hand around yours and stood up, his other hand stretched out for you to take.
“Wanna dance?” he asked. You smiled brightly and nodded before sliding your free hand into his. You grunted as he helped you up, your breasts pushing against his chest before you steadied yourself. The two of you swayed to the gentle rhythm, your eyes locked with his as he hummed along to the lyrics echoing through the park. You sighed and rested your head on his chest as he splayed a hand over your hip, your body glowing with warmth when he kissed the top of your head.
You gasped when a bunch of fireworks suddenly went off, bursts of light and sound reverberating across the open space. You and your lover shared a laugh before turning your attention to the fireworks, your faces illuminated with a variety of colors. You shifted your gaze back to your boyfriend, time slowing down to a standstill as you placed your hands on his shoulders. He smiled softly as you leaned on your tiptoes, your lips just barely brushing over his.
Your heart felt like it was about to burst as he tilted his head down. You moaned quietly into the passionate kiss, his lip ring rubbing against your soft mouth as he squeezed your hip. You sighed through your nose as you squeezed your plush thighs together, your body shivering with bliss before he pulled back. The fireworks began to fade as the crowd erupting into a wave of cheers. Hobie pecked your lips again as he squeezed your hip.
“Ready for some boba?” your love asked as he tucked some hair behind your ear. You hummed as the two of you started making your way towards the gates of the park.
“Yeah! And maybe we could stop by the bookshop before we head home?” you asked while slinging your arm around his. Hobie hummed as he thought to himself.
“No,” he replied in a flat tone. Your jaw dropped before he busted out laughing.
“Cheeky thing,” you said before pinching his cheek. He snickered as you released his cheek and rubbed his back. Both of you continued walking until you reached the small boba shop just outside of the park. Your eyes lit up when you stepped inside, two young women glancing up from behind the counter.
“Hello! What can I get started for you two?” one of them beamed, her dark ponytail swishing as she stepped up. You waved back before glancing up at the menu. Your eyes sparkled as you read over the variety of flavors, mouth watering in anticipation of your sweet treat.
“Hmm…could I please have a strawberry boba?” you asked politely.
“Green tea f’me, please,” Hobie added as he slung one of his arms around your shoulder.
“Of course! That will be £8 please,” she chirped. Hobie pulled out his money and handed it to the cashier, the other worker busying herself with your drinks. “Thank you!” the woman smiled before shuffling over to her coworker. You stepped over to the side with Hobie, your heart lighting up as you gazed at his face.
“Somethin’ wrong, lovie?” your love hummed. You shook your head before pressing a kiss to his cheek.
“Nope, just thinking about how much I love you,” you smiled sweetly. Your boyfriend’s eyes softened before he pressed a kiss to your forehead.
“Love you, too, baby,” he smiled.
“你看到她穿什么了吗?,” one of the women whispered loudly [Did you see what she was wearing?]. Hobie perked his head up and narrowed his eyes. The two servers glanced behind their shoulders before giggling.
“她的衣服是从哪里来的?垃圾箱?” the other snickered [Where did her clothes come from? The dumpster?]. They both laughed loudly before Hobie cleared his throat.
“你为什么不专心做我们的饮料而不是侮辱我的女人?” he said to them with a tense smile [Why don’t you focus on making our drinks instead of insulting my girlfriend?]. Their grins immediately fell as their faces turned bright red. He huffed as they turned back around busied themselves with making your drinks.
“What did you say to them?” you asked with a nervous glance. Hobie shrugged.
“Just told them to stop gossiping and focus,” he replied while wrapping an arm around you. You looked down, the sneaking suspicion that they were gossiping about you gnawing at the back of your mind. You blinked.
“Hold on - you speak Chinese?” you asked. Hobie pursed his lips as he drummed his fingers against your arm.
“Yeah. Picked it up from my old neighbor Mrs. Chen,” he explained. Your lover paused and chuckled, a bright smile crossing his features. “Though most of what she said was more…colorful,” Hobie grinned. One of the workers shuffled up to the counter and placed your drinks down.
“S-Sorry for the wait!” she squeaked, her eyes a little wide and cheeks dusted with pink. You smiled as the two of you took your drinks.
“You’re fine! Thank you so much!” you chirped with a wave. Hobie sucked on his straw before holding the door open for you.
“M’lady,” he said.
“Why, thank you,” you giggled while placing a hand over your chest. Hobie shared your bright smile as the two of you stepped out into the cool summer night. You hummed and slipped your hand into his while enjoying the sweet drink.
“So…to the bookshop?” Hobie asked. You nodded as you pulled your lips away from the thick straw.
“To the bookshop!” you beamed as you strode alongside him. Thankfully, the shop was right across the street from your shared flat. Your heart leapt when you saw the glowing sign for Hardy's Bookstore. A small bell chimed as soon as you stepped into the shop. A young woman in glasses peeked from behind a bookshelf and smiled.
“Hey (Y/N)! Hi Hobie!” she called with a wave.
“Hi Felicia!” you said as you stepped inside. You gasped and stumbled back when a black cat suddenly hissed at you and scurried away. You blushed and squeezed the plastic boba cup in your hand.
“Sorry about that,” you laughed nervously. Felicia waved her hand as she climbed down from the ladder.
“Oh, she’ll be fine. She just likes to nap in inconvenient spots,” the shopkeeper sighed. She adjusted her glasses before resting her hands on her hips. “Can I help you all look for anything?” Felicia asked with a sparkle in her eye. You hummed and took another sip from your drink.
“Hmm…I think we’re just looking around for now,” you replied.
“Alright. If you all need anything, I’ll be behind the counter,” she grinned.
“‘Kay. Thank you,” you smiled. She gave a short nod before walking behind the counter, her cat following in suit and swishing its tail back and forth. You started to walk around the store, sipping on your boba from time to time while perusing the shelves.
“Babe…we should see if they have any books about yoga,” Hobie whispered with a little smirk.
"Oh? And why's that?" you asked with a raised brow. You gasped as he slid his finger down your back, the sensation sending a shiver down your spine.
"'Cause I like it when you wear tight clothes," he murmured as his hands traced over your love handles. You squeezed your thighs together as you glanced over your shoulder, your heart pounding as his breath fell over your ear. "And seein' you all bent over," Hobie rumbled.
"H-Hobie," you whispered while glancing around. You felt him smirk against the shell of your ear before he leaned back.
"Just sayin'," he winked before sliding his hands into his pockets. Your entire body tensed with lust as you bit down on your straw.
"Maybe we should-" you froze when you laid eyes on a book about dieting. You felt your stomach twist into knots as your heart grew heavier by the second.
“Babe?” Hobie asked as he furrowed his brows. You swallowed thickly as you balled your free hand into a tight fist. He followed your line of sight and frowned. You glanced down at your body as several disgusting mantras about yourself began to ring inside your mind.
“(Y/N), what's wrong?” your boyfriend asked in a hushed tone. You sniffed and shook your head, your strawberry boba nearly spilling onto the floor as you squeezed the cup in a tight grip.
“I’m sorry, Hobie. I-I think I need go,” you choked. Your lover gently rubbed his hands up and down your arms as he came behind you.
“It's okay, (Y/N). Let's head on home," he whispered. You only gave him a silent nod as you nearly crushed the plastic cup in your hand. He made sure to stand beside you as you kept your head down.
“‘Night, Felicia!” Hobie called and gave her a small wave before escorting you back outside. You did everything you could to suppress the urge to break down right there on the street - your heart racing and mind dizzy as your own thoughts tore you apart.
“Almost there, baby,” Hobie reassured you as you climbed up the stairs to your flat. You finally released a choked sob right as you crossed the threshold of your abode, kicking your shoes off and tossing your cup in a bin nearby. Hobie immediately placed a hand on your back as he guided you over to the couch, your body shivering as you wept.
“I-I’m sorry,” you cried. Your boyfriend wrapped his lanky arms around you as he kissed your temple.
“What are you sorry ‘bout, love?” he asked softly as he held you against his chest. Your bottom lip trembled as you hiccupped, your face completely soaked with tears.
"I...I'm sorry if I'm an embarrassment to you,” you sniffed. He blinked, his eyes nearly popping out of your head.
“What do you mean? You've never embarrassed me, never,” he said firmly while clasping his hands over yours. You sniffed and wiped at your eyes.
“But...why would you want to be with someone like me?” you choked as you looked away, a bitter taste washing over your mouth. “Ugly, fat, clumsy,” the insults towards yourself fell past your lips like drops of cold venom. Hobie tensed next to you as he gripped your hands. The room was filled with a heavy silence before he took a deep breath.
“You mean beautiful,” he said while kissing your cheek. You blinked and sat up as you felt his warm lips caress over your face. “Irresistible,” Hobie continued before pressing a soft kiss to your nose. Your breath hitched as he cupped your chin and turned your head towards him, lips brushed against yours as he sighed. “And the kindest, most amazing woman I've ever known,” he whispered lovingly before resting his lips on yours. You felt your insecurities start to melt away the longer your mouths rested in a sweet kiss. Your heart skipped a beat as Hobie slid his hand down to rest on top of your thigh. You gasped for air as the two of you parted, your warm breaths mingling while you swallowed thickly.
“D-Do you really mean that?” you asked breathlessly. Hobie smiled and tilted his head as he rested his forehead on yours.
“Of course I mean it,” he murmured. Your heart leapt as he squeezed the top of your thigh. “But why don’t I just show you instead?” he purred in a low, husky voice. You gasped as he slid his hand lower and cupped your burning sex, the bottom of his palm grinding against your covered clit. "That alright with you, doll?" Hobie asked as he pecked your lips over and over. You squeezed your eyes shut as you pushed the thoughts away, your sex yearning for his hungry touch.
"Yes...please," you said breathlessly. You squealed as Hobie kissed you deeply, his hand rubbing up and down your clothed pussy as he groaned.
”Gonna make sure I love every single inch of you tonight - show you just how precious you are,” Hobie purred as he cupped your cheek with his free hand. He brushed his thumb over your lower lip as he sighed. "Startin' with these gorgeous lips of yours," he grinned. Your heart fluttered as he leaned forward, his mouth gravitating towards yours like a magnet. Your heart glowed as your lips moved in a passionate dance, Hobie's hands wandering the expanse of your body and resting on your hips.
"Hold on t'me," he said. You furrowed your brows before he suddenly slipped his hands beneath your ass and picked you up. You squealed when he slowly lifted you up, his wry arms supporting your body while you hooked your feet around the back of his thighs. "There we go," Hobie cooed before locking lips with you once more. You moaned softly into the kiss as your body trembled in anticipation.
“I'll make you feel so good, you'll forget all about those nasty things you think about yourself,” Hobie murmured while carrying you to the bedroom. You ducked your head into his shoulder as you wrapped your arms around his neck. He sighed while stepping through the threshold, his hands kneading your bum as he breathed against the wet spot on your neck.
Your heart skipped a beat as he raked his eyes over your body. He unlaced his boots before pulling his shirt over his head, his chest heaving as he licked his lips. The wooden bed frame creaked as he climbed on top of you, his thin legs spreading yours apart while his hands wandered beneath your tank top.
"Been waitin' all night to get my hands on your beautiful tits," he grunted while rolling your tank top up. You squealed as Hobie tossed your shirt aside and quickly worked your bra loose.
"I thought you were more of an ass man?" you giggled. Hobie raised his brows as he flashed you a cheeky grin.
"I am...but tonight's about lovin' all of you," he smirked. His breath hitched as your breasts fell down and jiggled, your nipples growing hard against the cool air of your bedroom. “God, look at you,” he sucked in a sharp breath before eagerly grabbing at one of your plush tits. Your eyes widened as he massaged your mound while he dipped his head down, capturing your other nipple between his puckered lips.
“F-Fuck,” you whined and arched your back as he lavished your breast with wet, sloppy kisses and licks while he pinched your other nipple between his two fingers. His nostrils flared against your exposed skin as he gently ground his hips against yours.
“H-Hobie, please,” you mewled and bucked your hips forward, you’re body craving more of his insatiable touch. Hobie grinned against your tit as he slid one of his hands against your panties, his palm gliding over your aching sex.
“You want me to keep goin’?” he asked in a husky whisper, your nipple falling out of his mouth with a slick “pop”. You nodded as you arched your back.
“Please…I-I need you,” you breathed, your breasts rising and falling as you felt his fingertips glide over your slick, covered hole. A flicker of lust danced in his eyes as he slowly shuffled back on his knees.
“God, you’re so sexy, baby,” Hobie groaned as he hooked his thumbs beneath the band of your skirt. You blushed and covered your face as he tugged the soft fabric down your thighs, your walls clenching around nothing as he hungrily eyes your clothed sex.
“H-Hobie,” you stammered bashfully. Your hips snapped forward when he suddenly laid his lips between your breasts and rested his hands over your knees.
"Sculpted by the gods themselves, I swear," he whispered gently, his lips dancing over the rolls of your belly as he inched closer to your mound. Your legs tensed around his head as his hot breath fell over your panties. Your chest grew tight as Hobie kissed over your covered cunt, the tip of his tongue lapping over the small wet spot growing in your panties. You whined as his nose rubbed against your puffy clit, his hands tenderly tracing over each and every stretch mark on the inside of your thighs. You eventually slid your fingers away from your eyes, your heart nearly stopping when you met his hungry gaze.
“Mmm, you taste so fuckin’ sweet,” he panted, his tongue slightly hanging out before he licked his lips. Your eyes widened as he pushed your panties aside, his lips growing glossy with your slick as he pressed a soft kiss to your soft, delectable folds. You shivered and grabbed at his long, puffy wicks as he flatted his tongue over your bundle of nerves, a wave of pleasure rolling through your core as you bucked your hips forward.
“Fuck, Hobie,” you moaned as your thighs shook around his head. Hobie groaned as he lapped along your juicy slit, his fingers digging into your soft flesh as your pussy soaked his plump lips. You cried out and arched your spine as he puckered his lips around your engorged bud while two of his long, thick fingers prodded at your weeping entrance.
“You want my fingers, baby girl?” Hobie murmured, his lips dancing over your labia while he circled the tight seam of your hole with his digits. “Want me to spread you open and make you cum so hard you see stars, hm?” he purred before teasingly flicking your clit with his tongue.
“Y-Yes!” you squealed as you tugged on his thick hair. Hobie grinned before pressing a soft kiss to the inside of your thigh.
“Good girl,” he purred before slowly pushing his fingers past the rim of your entrance. Your jaw dropped as you released a loud moan, your walls clenching around every inch of his thick fingers as he swirled his tongue around your bundle of nerves. “Shit, you're grippin' me so tight, doll,” Hobie drawled before encasing his plump lips around your clit once more.
“G-God, Hobie. Feels so good,” you whined as he began to pump his digits in and out of your slick hole, each drag of his fingers leaving a louder squelch than the last. “Yes, yes, yes,” you panted as he curled the pads of his digits against your sensitive gummy g-spot. You keened as he shoved his face even closer, nearly suffocating himself against your cunt as he swirled his tongue around your clit like a delicious lollipop.
“Please,” you whined as you tossed your head to the side as he scissored his fingers inside your cunt, spreading your hole wide open as a glistening trail of arousal oozed out. You felt him smile against your burning sex before he started to pump his fingers in and out of you even faster. The drag of his digits along your gummy walls drove you further into a mind-numbing bliss, the muscles in your lower half growing tighter and tighter with every perfect stroke of his fingers.
“Fuck, yes!” you cried out as you heaved, your head spinning as he curled his fingers up each time he sheathed them down to his knuckles.
"Makin' such pretty noises, sweet girl," he murmured before diving back in, devouring your cunt like it was his last meal. The room around you spun as you mewled and rubbed your pussy against his chin, the friction driving you closer to the edge.
"P-Please - I'm so close," you moaned as he thrusted his digits at a desperate pace. Your eyes rolled back when the band inside you suddenly snapped, your jaw going slack as you screamed his name. Your vision flooded with white as your hips rolled forward, your body stiff as your mind was torn apart in the riptide of euphoria. Tears streamed down your cheeks as your walls clamped down on his digits, Hobie’s tongue still swirling around your clit as your slick cream beaded around his knuckles. You panted and whined as the bliss began to fade, your body glowing with a thin sheen of sweat as Hobie eagerly lapped up your sweet juices.
You moaned as your boyfriend tilted his head up, his lower face completely soaked in your arousal. You whimpered as he slowly pulled his fingers from your raw, drenched pussy, the emptiness leaving your hole gaping and begging to be filled once more. Hobie hungrily eyed the white cream that coated his fingers before shifting his gaze back to you. He smirked as he rolled out his tongue and shoved his digits into his watering mouth. Hobie moaned while he swirled his wet muscle around his slick-coated fingers, his cock straining against his ripped jeans.
“Fuck,” you panted as he savored the sweet flavor of your cum, shoving his fingers in and out of his mouth until they were sucked clean. You felt a cold chill run through you when you saw the massive bulge straining beneath his ripped jeans while he bucked his hips against nothing. Hobie stared into your eyes as he slowly pulled his fingers from his mouth before licking his lips.
“You taste so fuckin' delicious, babe,” he said as he started to unbuckle his belt. Your heart pounded inside your ribcage as Hobie shoved his pants and briefs down his sleek thighs, his long, dark cock springing free and slapping against the trail of dark hair against his stomach. You parted your lips as he fisted his length, his hand gliding over his throbbing dick as he moaned softly.
“I wanna feel every single inch of your pretty pussy wrapped around my cock - huggin’ me, milkin’ me dry,” he panted. You shifted beneath him, your insecurities quickly flooding back into our mind as his eyes raked over your completely exposed body. "You're beautiful, baby," Hobie cooed as if reading your mind. Your eyes widened as he pressed his lips to yours while guiding his bulbous, weeping tip to your puckering entrance. Your pupils dilated as Hobie grinned against your mouth, the slick sound of him rubbing your arousal across the head of his cock making you shudder.
“You ready f’me, sweet girl?” Hobie murmured. You nodded, your eyes wide and breath ragged as he smeared your slick across the head of his cock. Hobie groaned into your ear as he pushed his hips forward, his cock sinking into your tight heat at a slow, steady pace.
"O-Oh my God,” you whimpered as you felt his length stretch out your tight hole, a thick ring of your cream surrounding his long shaft as he inched himself inside you.
“That’s my good girl - takin’ my cock so well,” he panted as your walls fluttered around his throbbing dick. You moaned at his filthy words and clawed at his upper back, your pussy lewdly squelching as he paused halfway before starting to drag his cock back out.
“A-Ah,” you keened as he slid his length back inside, his cock tenderly massaging every inch of your drenched, gummy walls. You gasped when Hobie leaned down and puckered his lips around your hard nipple, his tongue eagerly swirling around the perky bud as he rocked his hips forward.
“Look so gorgeous like this, baby - no clothes hidin’ your perfect body from me,” he rumbled before gently tugging on your nipple between his soft lips. You squealed as his patch of thick hair grinded against your swollen clit, each push of his hips sending a pulse of heat through your sensitive button.
"R-Right there," you moaned as his tip massaged your spongey g-spot, your toes curling as pleasure washed over you. Hobie pinched your nipple between his teeth as he snapped his hips, his heavy balls slapping against your plump ass as he groaned. "Fuck!" you cried out as your pussy greedily sucked his cock closer to your cervix.
"Shit, grippin' me so good, (Y/N)," he hissed, his eyes glazed over as he moved his lips over your neck. You tilted your head as he sucked at the top of your choker, his hands tensing around your hips as you felt a familiar knot start to tighten in your lower belly. "Fit around me so perfectly," Hobie praised as he raked his teeth over your pulse. Your heart charm clinked against the faux leather of your choker with every thrust, your bracelets jingling as you dug your nails into his shoulders.
"Hobie, I-I'm close," you gulped with a high-pitched moan. Hobie grinned as he panted against the wet patch on your skin, his cock twitching inside your snug sex as he gingerly laced his fingers between yours. He leaned up and gazed into your eyes as his tip slamming against your swollen cervix as he moaned.
"C'mon sweet girl - show me that pretty face you make when you cum," Hobie rumbled lowly as he drew sloppy circles around your clit. You thrashed beneath him as you pushed your breasts forward, an intoxicating wave of pleasure washing over you as the cord in your tummy snapped.
"Hobie!" you screamed his name as your cunt squeezed his dick in a vice grip.
"That's it - fuck, you look so beautiful when you soak my cock," Hobie shuddered as his thrusts began to falter. You sobbed as your body trembled with bliss, your moans choked as you rolled your head back and panted heavily.
"Shit," you squeezed your eyes shut as your walls deliciously convulsed around your boyfriend's shaft. A low growl rose from your lover's chest as your high began to fade, your limbs turned to jelly as Hobie relentlessly drove his cock into your soaked cunt. Your stomach dropped when he suddenly pulled out, his cock swollen and drenched in your juices as he flipped your around.
"Shh, it's alright. Just relax f'me," Hobie cooed as he patted your waist. Your eyes shot open when he hooked his arms beneath your legs and pulled you flush against him. Your toes curled as he picked you up and sheathed himself inside you in one swift motion, the sudden fullness making your eyes roll back and cunt clench.
“Fuck!” you whined as you threw your head against his shoulder Hobie smirked against your neck as he slowly carried you over to the full-body mirror hanging on your closet door. Your eyes widened when you watched the way your arousal leaked and bubbled around the base of his girthy shaft. Hobie sighed as he adjusted his arms, your plump legs jiggling as he rested his mouth against your ear.
“Look at that gorgeous, amazing woman in the mirror,” he breathed while rocking his hips forward, driving his cock deeper inside you with every thrust. Your face grew red hot as you quickly glanced away.
“H-Hobie,” you flushed. He clicked his tongue.
“Eyes up, lovie,” he murmured softly with a sharp thrust. You moaned and hooked your hands around his neck as his balls slapped against your wet folds. “Mm, look at your sweet cunt swallowin' my cock whole,” Hobie grunted with a heavy sigh. You squeezed your eyes shut as a mind-numbing wave of euphoria swept through your body.
“B-Baby, fuck,” you moaned as you felt the tip of his cock graze over your g-spot again. Hobie purred as he bit at your earlobe.
“Say ‘I’m beautiful’, sweet girl,” he rumbled while squeezing the back of your knees. Your walls clenched around his length, your cheeks clapping every time he thrusted up into you.
“I-I’m beautiful,” you said in a hushed ton. Your legs tensed when he laid his lips on your neck and started to pound even harder inside your messy cunt.
“C’mon, baby girl. Let me hear you,” he sucked in a sharp breath as he admired the lewd reflection: your breasts and rolls bouncing every time he brought you down on his veiny dick. You cried out as you felt your third orgasm suddenly sneak, your body twitching in his tight grasp as tears rolled down your face.
“I-I’m beautiful!” you yelped in a cracked voice as your pussy squeezed and fluttered around his hard length. Hobie released a guttural groan as he stiffened against you, his cock throbbing against the gummy plug to your womb as he painted your walls with thick, hot ropes of his cum. Hobie's arms tightly wrapped around the back of your knees as he moaned your name.
"Baby, fuck," Hobie choked as he kept your back flush against his chest. You moaned softly while your love thrusted up into you a few more times, his dick softening between your gummy walls while your combined juices dripped down his shaft and coated his plump, potent balls. You sighed as you felt his cock twitch inside your cunt for the last time, his hot breath falling over your shoulder as the smell of sex permeated through the room. Your muscles relaxed as he kissed your cheek, his eyes lingering on the reflection of his cock stuffing your swollen pussy before he licked his lips.
“God, you’re amazing,” he grunted while slowly walking back to the messy bed. You could only mewl at his words, your mind lost in a haze of euphoria as your body turned to putty in his wiry arms. You whimpered as your legs burned from being spread for so long, your body falling onto the mattress as he slowly pulled out of you.
“You did so good, baby,” Hobie whispered as he kissed up and down your cheek, his hands wandering the expanse of your body. "So, so good," he cooed before pecking your lips, his eyes soft and brimming with affection. You sighed and kept your hands wrapped around his neck as he caressed his lips against yours, the taste of yourself faint on his warm tongue.
“My beautiful girl,” he continued before nibbling on your bottom lip. Your heart glowed as he laid on top of you, his fingers intertwined with yours as your lips met in a passionate embrace. "Now...how 'bout we take a nice, hot bath, yeah?" he whispered with a small chuckle. You smiled and nuzzled your nose against his.
"That sounds wonderful...but there's one problem," you sighed as the tips of your ears burned. Hobie raised a brow as he scanned you up and down. "You're probably gonna have to carry me," you giggled with a blush. Hobie's eyes widened a little before he released a breathy laugh.
"I'll take any chance to feel your skin against mine," he purred before smoothing his hand over your hip. You reflected his satisfied smile as he scooped you up in his arms and pressed his lips to your neck. "C'mon, lovie; let's get ourselves cleaned up," Hobie whispered gently before carrying you out of your bedroom.
Your heart glowed as you laid your head against his chest as your eyelids began to droop, your mind drifting as you relaxed in his hold.
"I love you, Hobie," you whispered and pecked his chin. You heard him grunt softly as he leaned down at kissed the crown of your head.
"Love you, too, baby girl," he murmured with a gentle smile.

𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱 - 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿
Tumblr media
𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆: peter and you argue because he loves to spend all of his money on you.
𝘄/𝗰: 0.5k
𝗮/𝗻: sorry for disappearing for a few months… again 😭 i am slowly getting back into writing so please bear with me! i saw my last fic reached over 9000 notes so that really motivated me to write something else for you guys ♡ i’m not so sure how i feel about this but i really do see peter as the type of boyfriend to blow all of his paycheck on you so i just had to write this LOL anyways i hope you all enjoy this!!
Tumblr media
“put it on my card” you suddenly hear peter say as he pulled your earphones out, causing you to jump.
you were trying to keep yourself awake while waiting for peter to come through your window after patrolling for the night. to keep yourself occupied, you decided to listen to music and do some online shopping (which consisted of you just putting things in your cart but never actually buying anything). with your back facing your window and your earphones in, you didn’t see or hear peter come inside.
“jesus christ peter, don’t sneak up on me like that!”
“yeah yeah whatever” he says not really caring that he nearly scared the life out of you. “as i was saying before you rudely snapped at me, put your order on my card”
“i literally have over $400 worth of clothes in my cart”
“and?”
“what do you mean and? that’s expensive”
“your point?”
“that’s more than half of your paycheck”
“doesn’t matter. the whole reason why i have a job is to spoil you” he says while taking off his suit and getting comfortable in your bed.
“aww pete, you’re too sweet. but still, no. i don’t want you spending that much money on me”
he hummed an okay which led you to believe he was gonna just drop the conversation.
you were so wrong.
before you know it, he’s shooting a web at your laptop and dragging it over to him.
“NOOOO!” you scream dramatically and tackle him on your bed before he can type in his card information.
“LET ME BUY YOU CLOTHES!” he screams back while trying to push you off of him so he can grab your laptop again.
you quickly snatched your laptop from the bed and ran out of your room as fast as you could.
“GET BACK HERE!” peter shouted while chasing after you to which you just ignored and kept running away.
“you know what, you leave me no choice” he abruptly stops chasing you which causes you to stop in confusion.
suddenly, he jumped and stuck to your roof with his webs, and webbed your laptop over to him. you literally had no way of getting to him now.
“that’s no fair, you’re cheating!” you whined.
he laughed at you standing helplessly below him and finally placed your $450 order on his card.
“here you go” he smiled and jumped down from the roof, handing your laptop back over to you.
before you were about to scold him for spending so much money on you, you heard a knock at your door.
you and peter both looked at each other confused because you weren’t expecting anybody for the night. he walked to the door and opened, revealing the people you were least expecting.
the police.
“hello, we were called over here for a noise complaint. your neighbors reported screaming being heard from your apartment room and they were concerned. is everything alright?”
you did not expect to end your night by explaining to the police that you and your boyfriend were screaming over buying clothes.

that first kiss

summary: you and peter reminisce about your first kiss, but you both have very different takes on it.

“hey y/n, look at this.” peter beckoned you over, showing you his phone. it was a picture of you two together on your very first date.
“aw, look at us! that’s our first date, yeah? we were so cute.” you gushed. “is that the time we watched wonder? you cried your ass off at the end.”
“rightfully so. he made friends, and for the first time everyone accepted him.” peter said as he teared up.
“are we really doing this right now?” you sighed.
“he got a standing ovation.” he wiped a tear away and sniffled, clearing his throat when he noticed you trying to suppress your laughter.
“hey, do you remember our first kiss?”
“how could i forget it?” you shrugged. “it was so, uh…”
“sloppy.” you spoke.
“perfect.” peter said at the same time.
“wait, what? did you just say sloppy?” peter gasped.
“well, yes? you have to admit, it wasn’t our best.”
“i can’t believe this. after all this time, i’m just now hearing about this? i’m- i’m heartbroken, honestly.” he slapped his hands over his heart dramatically, flopping onto your shared bed.
“oh come on peter,” you giggled. “we were playing seven minutes in heaven. that’s like the shittiest way to have your first kiss.”
“i beg to differ. i think it was quite romantic, actually. we were so close, wrapped in each others warmth.”
“that’s my main point. we were cramped up in a small wardrobe. our breaths were turning it into a sauna. hot, sweaty, and steamy.”
“but it was comforting, right?”
“wrong.”
“it was so intimate. our bodies were literally pressed together.”
“yes, due to the lack of space. we couldn’t even breathe without our chests touching each others, which gave my boobs a great deal of discomfort by the way.”
“but i swear i heard angels singing. no wonder it’s called seven minutes in heaven.”
“those weren’t angels, that was me wheezing for air. we were suffocating, peter. i think we were trying to steal air from each others mouths when we kissed.” you laughed.
“i think you’re lying.” peter smirked.
“and i think you’re in denial. we’ve had better kisses and you know it.”
“that’s it. you’re on a kiss ban until you admit you liked our first kiss.” peter declared, sauntering off into the kitchen.
“what? you can’t do that!” you exclaimed, following him shortly after he left.
“can too! let’s see how long you can last before you break and tell the truth.”
“this is ridiculous. you think you can stop me from-“ you tried to steal a kiss swiftly, but his lightning quick reflexes had you kissing a cereal box.
“banned!” he shouted, fleeing to the bedroom.
*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*
from morning to night, you’d been livid. you woke up to a sticky note on your forehead, a note scribbled in peters messy handwriting: sorry, had to leave early to be new yorks hero this morning. you missed out on your goodbye kiss since you wanted to be a naughty little liar last night <3
jerk.
you’d been waiting for him all day to get home, ready to chew him out for dragging this situation into the next day. it was funny at first, but now he had taken it too far. those morning kisses meant a lot to you. even when you were taken over by sleep, you were still aware of when he left a quick kiss to your forehead or cheek.
peter never really knew if you even felt the kisses or not, but he still did it anyway. it was the sweetest thing ever, and he took that away from you.
as he crept into the bedroom window, you entered the room at the same time, just finishing your skincare routine in the bathroom. you gasped upon seeing him and darted towards your bed, grabbing multiple pillows to throw at him.
“hey cutie, i’m back- hey!” he effortlessly dodged a pillow. “what the hell?”
“jerk! what kind of boyfriend deprives his girl of her morning kisses?” you threw another pillow at him, which he caught.
“i told you, you were on ban, but-“ you threw another pillow, hitting him right in his face. “really?”
“fuck your stupid ban! you took it too far. you’re so childish!” you fussed, tossing two pillows at him.
“says the one sending pillows flying all over the room. also, i never realized how many pillows we had.” he ripped his mask off and tossed it elsewhere.
peter gave you a sympathetic smile when he saw you doing that cute little “i’m upset but i want your attention” pout. “alright honey,” he walked over to you, engulfing you in his arms. “i’m sorry, okay? i didn’t know how much those morning kisses meant to you, and i didn’t really mean to drag this ban on for so long. so from this moment on, the kissing ban has officially been lifted. you are free to kiss. am i forgiven?”
“yes,” you pressed a long overdue kiss to his lips, humming when he ran a soothing hand over your back. “but never do that again. and don’t you ever leave me without my morning kiss again. you hear me?” you squinted at him, & he nodded.
“yes ma’am. and hey, was our first kiss really that bad?”
“i was wheezing for air. let that sink in.”

The Avengers compound was all sleek edges, clean cool-tones, and large floor-to-ceiling windows with not a speck of dust to be seen. It was an intimidating environment, to say the least. What made things worse was Mr. Stark’s hand on his shoulder and the hopeful gleam to his eyes.
The team, he had said. Tony wanted him to join the Avengers.
And with the brand new suit displayed in front of him, too… it was nearly impossible to say no.
Nearly.
When Peter stammered out a polite decline, Tony had looked at him above his lowered sunglasses, incredulous.
“You’re turning me down?” he said, heavy with disbelief. “You better think about this, kid.”
There was a long pause.
“Last chance, yes or no?”
Of course he wanted to say yes—to be in the Avengers, work with Iron Man himself… that was his dream. But he couldn’t. Someone had to look out for the little guy, right? And who better than the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man?
“No,” Peter replied.
Not at all used to being rejected, Tony struggled for words for a moment, before reluctantly accepting Peter’s decision, masking his disappointment fairly well. He liked the kid, and it wasn’t exactly fun to have him slip through his fingers like this. With a wave of his hand at Happy, he told him that he’d be driven home.
“Thank you, Mr. Stark. Truly,” Peter hastily said, certain that he’d made the right decision.
Preoccupied thinking about what he was going to tell the fifty reporters waiting behind the doors, Tony absentmindedly quipped, “Yes, uh, very well, Mr. Parker.”
Peter left with a proud grin and a skip to his step, nodding when Happy asked him to wait in the car.
Before he could make his way out, however, a voice stopped him in his tracks.
“That was really ballsy, what you did back there,” you said, observing him with an amused expression, eyes narrowed with curiosity. Peter blinked, recognizing you almost immediately. “Not a lot of people would leave my dad hanging like that.”
With a widened stare, Peter found all the words stuck in his throat. You were much more breathtaking in person, with an intrigued air about you. Though your features took more after your mother, who’d passed away many years ago, Peter noticed that you shared Tony’s smile.
“Uh… yeah,” was all Peter could lamely say.
The subtle beam curving your lips seemed to grow wider. You hummed, soft and lilting, languidly stepping forward with a nod. “Hope to see you around then, Peter.” You took his hand, sliding a folded piece of paper into his palm. “Give me a call if you ever need anything. Or if you just need a friend to talk to, I’m all ears. It’s a private phone—my dad doesn’t know about it. He gets really uptight about me talking to strangers but… you’re not really a stranger, are you? At least, not for long.”
Shocked, Peter could only open and shut his mouth, as if he were a fish out of water.
“I, uhm… thank you. I’ll definitely, uh, definitely take you up on that offer,” he choked out, nodding emphatically.
You gave him a warm smile, accompanied by a two-fingered salute, and in turn, he waved goodbye, palms drenched with sweat as he hurriedly backed away to the car before Happy could yell at him.
Cute, you thought with an amused shake of your head, before making your way back to your dad, who was still muttering under his breath about how he couldn’t believe a fifteen year old had just turned him down.
Tumblr media
Your phone number stared at him every day for the next week. The numbers were hastily scribbled down in blue ink, smudged ever so slightly by the crease of the fold during your rush, but you’d taken the time to draw a smiley face right beneath the last digit. It never failed to make Peter smile every time he gave it a glance.
It took him three days to psyche himself up to even considering calling you, and another three to actually add you to your contacts, his thumb hovering over the call button far too often than he’d like to admit. On the seventh day, Peter pressed with a sharp inhale.
Three rings trilled by.
Peter wondered if you were going to pick up. He wouldn’t really be surprised if you didn’t—you were a busy person, probably, and didn’t have the time to take calls from people like him.
Another ring. And suddenly, your voice reverberated through. Peter sat up on his bed, spine straightening as if it were an iron rod.
“Hello?”
“Y/N! Hi!” he said, voice abnormally high-pitched. He cleared his throat and nervously added, “It’s Peter. Peter Parker?”
A laugh echoed in his ear. He could picture your humored smile. “Yeah, I remember. It’s nice to hear from you—thought you’d never call.”
“You were waiting?”
“Of course, I was. I wouldn’t have given you my number if I didn’t want you to call.”
Warm relief surged through his veins, accompanied by a flustered coil winding within his abdomen. “Cool, cool… so, uh, I don’t want to be too forward or anything but I think you’re… so cool and uhm—” A pause. Was Peter really asking you out on an impulsive date? “Would you wanna hang out?”
On the other end of the line, you blinked in surprise, not expecting his sudden forwardness. You shifted the phone in your palm. “Right now?” It was a good thing you weren’t busy, having caught up on all your assignments and projects. Besides—you couldn’t remember the last time you properly went out into the city with someone other than Happy, Pepper, or your dad.
“Uh… if you’re not busy, that is.”
“You know what—sure. Why the hell not?” you replied, grinning.
Peter did a double-take. “Wait—really?”
“Yes, really. I’d love to spend some time with you, Peter.”
Now it was his turn to smile, pink dusting across his cheekbones. “Great. I’ll text you where to meet, then?”
“Sure, Peter.”
After the call ended, you were quick to change into appropriate attire, not wanting to draw too much attention to yourself. You donned a soft grey hoodie and baggy black jeans, slipping out of your room a few minutes later. The location Peter had sent you was a quaint little library not too far from where you lived, within a manageable walking distance. You were glad that you wouldn’t have to ask Happy to drive you, because knowing your godfather, he’d be hovering over Peter like a vulture.
Just as you were about to slip out, your tote bag slung over your shoulder, Tony popped his head out of the living room, quirking a brow.
“Hey, kid,” he cautiously greeted. “Where you goin’?”
You froze with one foot out of the door. “Library,” you answered, trying you best to appear nonchalant.
“Hm. Which library?”
With a frown marring your lips, you crossed your arms. “Jeez, dad, whichever library! I’m sure there’s, like, a dozen in a five-mile radius.”
Mirroring your attitude, Tony mimicked your squared jaw and rolled his eyes. “You know, if you wanted to hang out with that kid Peter, you could’ve just asked.”
A beat of silence. You narrowed your eyes at your dad. “How do you know about that?”
Tony let out a loud guffaw. “What? You don’t think I didn’t know you bought yourself your own phone? Are you forgetting that your pops is Tony Stark himself? God, kid, you were just like me when I was your age.” He paused at that, rethinking what he just said. “Well, actually, I was way worse.”
He strode forward, smoothing his hands down the sleeves of your hoodie and patting your shoulders. It wasn’t often that Tony was overly affectionate with you, but whenever he was, you always appreciated how genuine he would be.
After pressing a chaste kiss to your forehead, he gently nudged you out the door. “Go on. Get! Scat!” He made shooing motions with his hands. “If you don’t get back by sundown, I’ll have Happy hunt you down and kill the kid town executioner style.” At your scowl, Tony was quick to tack on, “Joking! I’m joking.”
“Bye, dad,” you said huffily, though the affection in your tone was unmistakable. With that, you turned to leave, fishing out your phone to text Peter that you were on your way.
“They grow up so fast,” a voice mused from over Tony’s shoulder, welling with emotion.
He flinched at his friend’s sudden presence, slamming the door shut. “Jesus Christ, Happy, don’t scare me like that!”

The months flew by in a breeze. You and Peter were now exclusively dating—something that he had asked about early on in your relationship, worriedly gnawing at his bottom lip with the harrowing idea of you turning him down. But you’d been nothing but sweet with him, affectionately pressing your nose into his cheek and telling him that you’d love to be official.
You were lounging on his bed, sprawled over his dark blue comforter, which smelled of fresh laundry detergent and something else entirely Peter that you couldn’t get enough off. He was across the narrow room, hunched over his desk as he hurriedly did his physics homework due the very next day. Idly, you fiddled with the web shooters you had swiped from his bedside table, narrowing your eyes at the wrist fixings and the capsules that held his web fluid.
Only a genius could build something like this on his own, you thought fondly. I’m dating a genius.
It seemed that you had said the last bit out loud, because Peter snorted in amusement.
“Yeah, says you,” he scoffed. “You skipped, like, a dozen grades.”
“Half that, actually. Six grades.”
Peter turned to look at you over his shoulder, arching his brows. “Not to mention your dad is literally the Tony Stark.”
With a hum, you slunk off his bed and languidly draped your arms over his shoulder. “Just take the compliment, Peter,” you said as you pressed a fond kiss to a faint freckle on his cheek. Then, you glanced down at the problem he was solving. “Mmh, don’t forget the negative sign. It’s moving against gravity, no?”
“Right.” He hastily corrected the formula, glancing at you appreciatively. “Thanks.”
“No prob, I make the same mistake all the time,” you quipped. “I’ve been making my own suit with the help of my dad—had to study up a lot on rotational mechanics and material physics. It’s been a pain in the ass.”
Brows raising, Peter dropped his pencil and rotated his chair so he was facing you fully, his knees grazing yours. “What? You’re making your own suit?”
“Yeah,” you said with the beginnings of an excited smile tracing your lips. “I mean, I don’t know if I’ll ever become an Avenger like my dad is but… I don’t know. It’s certainly an option.”
A low groan fell from Peter’s throat, and he buried his face in his palms. “You’re telling me we could’ve been in the same team together? Ugh, stop, stop, don’t make me regret turning your dad down.”
“Oh, no, Pete, I think you made the right choice,” you quickly reassured him, tugging his wrists away from his flushed features. “We’re still young. It’s not fair to put that responsibility on our shoulders as of now.”
The brown of his irises softened. “Yeah. We’re still young,” he echoed, ducking his head to kiss your hand clutching his. “You gotta show me that suit of yours one day, though.”
Tumblr media
Both you and Peter were strolling around an art museum, arms linked and permanent smiles plastered over your expressions as you pointed at various paintings and sculptures. It was nearly an hour into the date when your phone began buzzing in your pocket, and you hastily let go of Peter’s arm to fish it out.
“Hello?”
“Hey, bugaroo,” Tony’s drawl came through your phone. “Where are you? I’m bored.”
A lopsided grin hung onto the corner of your lips at his words. “I’m with Peter right now.”
“Hm. You guys are behaving yourselves, I hope. You using protection?”
The grin melted off your face and you scowled. “Dad, what the fuck?”
“Hey, language!” he scolded, before chuckling dryly. “God, I’m turning into Cap. Anyways—what’re you thinking for dinner tonight? Does Chinese sound good? You wanna invite the Spider over, too?”
You glanced at Peter, who was ogling an abstract painting with a tilted head and a puzzled expression. He’d never really understood the point of this art style, but when you’d explained to him that art didn’t need to be understood to be considered art, he had grown much more lenient with his views of the chaotic splotches of paint. A small smile traced the corner of your lips as you watched his features contort with every one of his thoughts. Peter truly wore his heart on a sleeve, for everyone to see.
“Yeah, sounds great,” you said into the phone. “We’ll be home in an hour.”
Tumblr media
Dinner consisted of warm soup dumplings and stir-fried noodles in flimsy paper boxes.
“Mm, Mr. Stark, these are delicious. I mean, I know you didn’t cook this or anything but it’s still really good,” Peter said around a mouthful of noodles. “Thanks for, uh, inviting me over. It’s an honor, really.”
“Stop sucking up to my dad, Peter,” you snorted, sipping on some iced tea. “He already likes you.”
One of Tony’s brows raised. “When did I ever say that?” At Peter’s slightly mortified expression, Tony rolled his eyes. “I’m kidding. Jokes, kiddo. Don’t piss yourself.”
“Speaking of piss—I’m goin’ to the powder room. Don’t fight while I’m gone,” you unabashedly said, pushing yourself away from the table. You really were your father’s child, Peter thought, mildly amused.
Tony watched you disappear behind a hallway, before fixing his gaze on Peter. The older man drummed his chopsticks by the edge of the table.
“Listen, kid, I know we’re already way past the point of this but as a father—you gotta understand that I have to give you the talk.” It was jarring to see Tony genuinely serious for once. Peter straightened himself subconsciously. “If you ever, ever hurt Y/N, I will stick a rocket up your ass and launch you straight to the moon. Do you understand?”
Peter gulped. “Yes, sir. I got it. You can trust me. I, uh, I really do like Y/N.”
“Oh, you do, do you?”
“...Yes? I’m sorry, I’m confused, do you not want me to like them?”
An unsatisfied noise fell from Tony’s lips. “Eh. I mean, would I prefer Y/N never ever date anybody and stay locked in their room forever, wasting away in front of a screen? Absolutely. But if it just had to be someone… I’m glad it’s you.”
Peter blinked in surprise. “Wow, Mr. Stark. That’s… thank you. It’s a huge honor. I promise I’ll take good care of them.”
“Yeah, don’t push it, Pete. You guys are barely a decade old.”
“Am I coming off too strong?” he winced, recoiling into his chair slightly.
The man across from him gestured to the small space between his pinched fingers. “Just a bit.”
“I’m actually fif—”
“Fifteen. I know. Y/N, too.”
There was another tense moment of silence as Tony scrutinized the young man.
Finally satisfied, he leaned back in his chair and smiled roguishly. “Phew! Glad that’s over with. In all honesty, if one of you were to hurt the other, it probably wouldn’t be you. I mean, let’s face it, you’re dating my kid, kid.”
Before Peter could respond, you slipped back into the room, your hands propped up on your hips. “Really, dad? Are you trying to scare Peter off?”
Your father gave you a sheepish shrug. “It was worth a shot.”
“I can make my own decisions,” you sternly replied. “You don’t need to hover.”
As you sat back down into the chair beside Tony, he wound an arm over your shoulders. “You know, my dad did the exact opposite of hovering when I was your age. He was always too caught up with work and stuff—barely ever saw the guy. Most birthdays n’ holidays and whatnot, he was never around. I don’t know, I just… I don’t want to be like my dad.”
Your features softened with his admission, and you turned to rope him into a proper hug.
When you pulled away, Peter nervously cleared his throat. “I, uh, for the record—I don’t think you can ever scare me off. Not even after going to the moon with a rocket up my ass.”
Tony glared at him, though there was a slight smile twitching at the corner of his lips. “Watch it, kid.”
“Sorry.”

PETER PARKER uses his spider-sense to get out of all sorts of awkward situations. If there’s an uncomfortable circumstance he can exit by loftily looking out into the distance and irish-goodbye-ing, he’s taking it.
Unfortunately for him, you’ve caught on to his ruse. It’s impolite to cry wolf, and you’ve learned his tells between a real emergency and an act to save his dignity.
One particular example stands out of the rest. You and him had broken it off months ago, but had finally agreed to be friends. A platonic hang-out between two adults. That’s possible, right? Apparently not. You fell into old habits, and you could pick out how he sweet talked you, but you let him. It felt so good to be seen by him, felt so good to talk to him. That spark between the two of you still remains, and it’s cause for his peculiar behavior when your gaze lingers on his. A exchange of heated eye contact, coming down from innocent snickering over an inside joke, morphs into a familiar dance. You see the thought process in his eyes, practically witness the neurons fire off to decide his next move. He inclines, and you’re drawn to him.
A single finger presses to his subtly puckered lips, halting him, and separating the two of you. “Peter… I can’t.”
It’s a serious moment, it told you everything you needed to know. How you weren’t ready for friendship with him, how unapologetic he was in disregarding the boundary at first. At least until he was caught. “Ah, you’re right. You’re right. I’m sorry.” sheepishly, he concedes, recoiling as his hand finds the back of his head.
You take notice of how he slows, the recognition in his countenance, and the descent of his arm. He faces the side, a faraway look to the horizon, a crease to his brow. You press your lips into a thin line.
All heartfelt empathy hardens into stone as you deduce exactly what he’s doing. “You are not seriously pulling this right now.”
Like a lawn chair, he folds. Shameful as he bows his head in a nod. “Yeah, okay.” His ticket out of living in the moment with the consequence of his action dissipates before him. He kicks the dirt, placing his hands on his hips as he condemns himself for trying to get out of this. Guiltily, he accepts his punishment of remaining here with you as a dark cloud looms over your company.

“Class dismissed!” you heard your teacher announce. The rain that was pouring down outside was heavy and your eyes widened when you realized that you forgot to bring an umbrella. Your seatmate, Peter Parker, who just happened to be your neighbor and your biggest crush, turned to look at you. He seemed to notice the slight panic in your eyes. “Come with me,” he offered.
“Really?” you asked.
“Well, I have an umbrella and a car. You don’t…” he paused. “Unless you want to walk in the rain by yourself. It’s your choice,” he teased.
“Oh no–please,” you laughed. “I’ll go with you.”
“Come on then,” he said, putting your notebooks in your bag and then picking it up before he stood up. There he was again, being the gentleman that he was, doing the exact same things that made you fall in love with him.
You and Peter weren’t best friends, but you two were close. Being neighbors since you were children played a huge part in that. You would never tell him, but he was actually your first crush. The first boy who made your heart jump since then and until now. When you were 6 years old, you told him you loved him while you two were playing, you were too young to know the deep meaning of the word “love” back then. In response, he told you that he loved you too because you were like a little sister he never had.
You remembered that response as you grew up, always reminding yourself that he would never love you back in the same way you loved him. And because you were too scared to risk and lose the relationship you two had, you were fine with being his little sister as long as it meant getting to be close to him.
It hurt you. Being close to him but never close enough to touch him in the ways you wanted to. You have seen him get in and out of relationships, let him cry on your shoulders when someone broke his heart. You have always been there through ups and downs, offering advice to him for his relationships to work. Little did he know, your heart shattered each and every time.
You had a couple of ex-boyfriends, both of them breaking up with you before the relationship could even last a year. One of those men was Harry Osborn, who just happened to be Peter’s best friend. You were sad, of course, but it was probably better because you knew that you couldn’t give your all to those relationships. You tried to find Peter in those men you dated, and it was probably why those relationships didn’t work out.
Peter opened the umbrella in one hand while his other carried your bag; his bag was on his back. He made a gesture for you to come closer and you did. The rain was harsh but you paid it no mind, there was a glow off the pavement as he walked you to the car. He opened the door for you when he reached the car, and you went in immediately.
The close distance between the two of you and the confined space of the car made the smell of him strongly enter your senses. The sensation of his presence made the hair on your skin stand up unsolicitedly. As you drove down the road, you wondered if he knew just how you were trying so hard not to get caught up with your feelings and just kiss him. He was just so cool, he didn’t even realize how he absentmindedly made you want him when he ran his hands through his hair. God, how could a man be this beautiful?
It could get better than this, you knew that. It could get better than you longing for him behind the curtains. But you were terrified. You were deeply in love with him, but you could never imagine him loving you back.
After that rainy day, Peter offered to drive you home from school daily. You were hesitant, scared that the more time you’d spend with him, the more you’d hurt your heart. But before you could say no, your mouth muttered the opposite of what you wanted to say. You agreed.
You wished for more than the road trips, but for now, you would settle for the slow drives from the school to your home, capturing and remembering every moment you were in his passenger seat.
You knew you could always tell him what you truly felt, but it was always a matter of fear.
Tumblr media
If there was one thing Peter knew about his enemies, it was that they always come for the ones he loved the most. That was why he didn’t tell anyone yet that he was in love with you. The only person who knew except himself was his best friend, Harry. He liked to believe that no secrets existed between the two of them. They were inseparable since the first year of high school when they first met each other. Right now, they were seniors and everything remained the same.
He could not be any more wrong. See, Harry was madly in love with you. When you dated him, he felt like the happiest man in the world but he always noticed that you loved another man. And when he saw the way you looked at Peter, he knew. He made plans in secret to hurt the two of you. If he couldn’t have you, then Peter couldn’t have you either.
For a while, he was skeptical of his plan. He didn’t want to do it anymore. He loved you and Peter was his best friend, he didn’t want to continue his plan any longer. Besides, the only thing he knew was that you were in love with Peter, his best friend probably didn’t feel the same towards you…
But then Peter decided to tell him that he was in love with you, and… well, that made him angry.
He decided his plan would continue.
Tumblr media
You remained friends with Harry even after breaking up with him. The breakup was mutual and there were no hard feelings. Just yesterday, he made a joke that you have been single for a long time and that you should download a dating app. You disagreed immediately, telling him that you were never a fan of dating apps. But then he said something that changed your mind.
“You should at least try. Surely, you can’t wait for that person forever?”
He definitely knew you were in love with his best friend. And with the tone in his voice when he said that suggestion, it made you think that Peter didn’t feel the same. If there was someone who would know if Peter was in love with someone, it would be Harry. You knew they never kept secrets from each other.
So you did what he suggested. You downloaded a dating app, and in an instant, you were already matched with someone named Nick. You talked to him for months, pretending to be interested in every conversation he tried to start. Nick was nice, you shared a few hobbies and interests but he wasn’t Peter. It was hard to find someone when the only one your heart wanted was Peter.
And then Nick asked to meet up with you. You didn’t want to. You told Harry about it and he said to give it a go. “If you never try, you never know, right? Just wear your best dress and imagine it was Peter,” he advised. You smiled in return, before texting Nick to accept his offer.
A week prior to your meetup, you found yourself constantly texting Nick, just talking about each other’s lives casually.
Can’t wait to see you next week 😉
You chuckled a little bit as you entered Peter’s car. Another school day has ended. Peter entered the car next. You put your phone in your lap as you adjusted your seatbelt.
Just wear your best dress, and I’ll take care of the rest ❤️
Unbeknownst to you, Peter got a glimpse of your text messages. He felt his mood change in an instant, but he tried not to show it to you. However, it was very obvious because he did not talk to you for the whole ride home. He would glance at you every once and a while but you were too busy exchanging messages with Nick on your phone to notice.
“We’re here,” he said with no enthusiasm in his voice. He got out of the car before making his way to your side and opening the door for you. You quickly shut your phone off and got out of the car. “Thank you,” you smiled at him but he just nodded. He didn’t even look into your eyes. Maybe he was just having a bad day, you thought.
You knew something was off when he didn’t walk you up to your door. “Pete, is everything okay?” you asked.
“Huh? uh–yeah. Just having a bad day. Don’t wanna talk about it,” he answered simply.
“Oh okay…” you proceeded to go into your house. Something inside you wanted to go back to him but you stopped yourself before you could even run to where he was standing and hug him right there. He didn’t want to talk about it, he probably wanted to be alone at the moment.
“Thank you!” you yelled, smiling as you waved him goodbye from the door of your house. Peter met your eyes for the first time that day, he smiled a little before waving in return. He left as soon as you closed the door.
“How’s your day?” your mom asked you the moment you closed the door. “All fine,” you smiled, walking towards her before hugging her. “That was Peter again, right? What’s going on between you two?” she teased. You didn’t answer, and instead ran up the stairs and went straight to your room. Your mother laughed at your reaction.
You locked your room and changed into a more comfortable outfit. You repeated your mother’s question in your head as you sat on your bed. What really was going on between you and Peter? To be honest, you didn’t know. You still loved him. Your heart still called his name. Nick was just a distraction—a distraction you hoped would be enough to stop your growing feelings towards Peter.
Suddenly, a notification popped on your phone. A new message from Nick and Harry. You first opened Nick’s message, it was just the location for your meetup next week. The next one you opened was Harry’s.
Did Nick send you an address yet for next week? Can you update me?
You quickly typed a reply.
What a coincidence. He actually just sent me the address but it’s unfamiliar to me. Why do you want to know?
You saw the three dots on your phone that told you he was typing. It stopped for a long while, it was almost like he was contemplating what he was going to send. The dots showed up again after some time until he sent a message.
I think I know where that address is. Should I take you there?
He didn’t answer your question. Nonetheless, you were glad for his offer.
Really, you would do that? Thank you! ❤️

A WEEK LATER.
Peter was doing what he always did, sitting on a rooftop ledge as Spider-Man, looking at the city as he waited for someone who needed his help. Everything was peaceful for a while, it was just him, the wind, and the buzzing noises from cars and people. His eyes caught something familiar. A car heading into a part of New York where not many people went. It didn’t take him a long time to realize that it was Harry’s car. He swung quietly through buildings, settling on one where he could see the car more properly.
There you were, sitting in the passenger seat of a car heading into an almost abandoned part of the town. His senses immediately alerted him of danger. He watched as the car stopped in front of an abandoned house. He saw Harry guiding you into the house and he sneakily entered it from one of the windows. He settled behind a table, a place where he could observe you without you noticing.
You were wearing a black dress that highlighted the shape of your body. You already were beautiful for him, but seeing you in that dress made him aware that you were the most beautiful girl in the world. He could spend his day just staring lovingly at you if it wasn’t for the current situation.
He saw the confusion on your face as you looked around the empty building. It was then the moment Peter realized that today was the day you were meeting up with Nick. The only problem was Nick wasn’t here and it was just an empty building, and he could tell by the look of your face that you were close to panicking.
Just as Peter started to stand up and walk towards you, Harry entered the building with a wide smirk plastered on his face. Peter quickly returned to his hiding position.
You pulled out your phone from your purse and called the number Nick gave you. At the exact same time, you heard someone’s phone ringing in the building. You turned to where the sound was. It came from Harry, he was laughing. And then he showed you a phone in his hand with your name on it as the caller. You ended the phone call, and the ringing on Harry’s phone also stopped.
“Harry, what’s going on?” you started to take a few steps back. “Where’s Nick?”
“There’s no Nick,” he admitted, a sly smile showing on his face. “I made it all up.”
“But–why?” you were starting to tear up. This place was not familiar to you. The more you looked around, the more you realized that escaping was not an option. There was one open window but it was far from your position. There was also a huge fallen table blocking it.
Peter stood up from his position and silently moved closer to where you were. He took advantage of the shadows and his spider-like abilities to move without having any of you notice it. Suddenly, he felt his foot touch a liquid substance. It was gasoline, it came from a hose that was close to his hiding spot. His eyes tried to trace where the hose came from but his spot gave him a limited view. He knew it was from outside the house but he didn’t know exactly where.
In just seconds, the house smelled like gasoline, and the floor was flooded with it. Apparently, the hose that Peter discovered wasn’t the only one. There were a lot scattered around the house and they released the liquid substance at the same time.
“Do you smell that?” Harry snickered. “I know you do. It’s pretty cool, isn’t it? I planned this all by myself. I even installed the hoses.”
“Harry, what the fuck are you doing?” you questioned.
“Taking back what’s mine,” he replied. “I love you, Y/N. I never stopped.”
He stepped closer. “Take me back. Be with me again,” he demanded.
“You’re fucking insane. Get away from me.”
“And if I don’t want to?” he mockingly asked.
“Harry–stop. Please. We’re still friends, right? W-we can still be f-friends,” you shakingly tried to reason out. He only shook his head.
“Say you love me and you can still leave this house breathing,” he warned.
“Harry–”
“Say it.”
You shook your head, frustrated tears were coming out of your eyes.
“Say. It.”
“No–” you whispered.
“No?” he asked.
“No,” you answered sternly. You would rather die than spend your life stuck with him.
“Then you leave me with no choice but to–” he pulled out a lighter from his jacket. Your eyes widened.
Someone from the shadows shot out a web to Harry’s hand, preventing him to move his hand and light the object he held. Spider-Man soon stepped out of the shadows. “Get out, Y/N,” you heard Spider-Man demand you and you instantly ran straight to the door. You didn’t even dare to question how he knew your name.
The door was locked as expected. While Spider-Man and Harry fought, you tried to look around for something that would help you destroy the handle. Your eyes caught a crowbar covered in gasoline laying on the floor close to a wall. You made your way to it cautiously, careful not to let yourself get caught up with Harry and Spider-Man. For a moment, you saw the lighter escape Harry’s hand as Spider-Man punched his face but your focus was on the crowbar so you just let them deal with themselves.
You did your best to hit the door forcefully with the tool when you returned, but it was hard to break since the crowbar was covered in gasoline which made it slip from your hand almost every time. All of a sudden, Harry was able to retrieve the lighter and flicked it. As soon as the fire showed itself, he threw it on the floor.
The next thing you knew, the house was on fire and smoke filled the air. It was getting hard to breathe, even Harry was coughing weakly. You tried to shift your attention to the door again. This time, trying even harder to open it. You kicked, threw your body weight on it, and hit it with the crowbar again, but it only managed to do little to the door.
When the smoke increasingly spread in the house, Spider-Man felt that his mask was suffocating him. To be able to breathe more properly, Peter decided to remove the mask from his face. He wasn’t worried about showing his face, Harry was already passed out, and you were busy breaking down the door. Besides, he was already planning on telling you he was Spider-Man some of these days, he might as well do it now.
After a more few tries, you eventually managed to break the door handle and kick the door open. You were about to call Spider-Man to alert him but the words got stuck in your throat upon seeing his face.
Peter looked up as he felt you staring at him. “Get out of here, Y/N!” he yelled.
It seemed that your feet were stuck on the floor and your mind stopped making rational decisions because you stayed there in shock. “Peter?” you spoke.
“Y/N, GET OUT! LEAVE!” he yelled again. His voice made you jump and you instantly followed his demand. You left the house still thinking of him. You were already starting to walk to your house when your heart ached out of being worried for Peter. “Fuck it,” you whispered under your breath. You turned back, making your way back to the burning house. You called the authorities on the way.
Peter was still inside when you returned. You squinted your eyes, hoping to see more of him through the fire. He was carrying Harry, trying to get him out of the house but he was struggling because of the fire that surrounded him.
This was the part where the brain fought with the heart. Your mind was pleading for you to go home, save yourself, and get a good night’s sleep. But your heart insisted on staying, helping Peter, and putting yourself in danger.
Your heart only needed to softly whisper Peter’s name, and you were already all in.
And so, you entered the house fearlessly.
You used your arms to cover your head from the falling debris as you made your way to Peter. His eyes did a double take as soon as he saw you. “What the fuck are you doing here? Didn’t I tell you to leave?!” he questioned, worry and stress showing through his voice.
You ignored his questions and instead insisted on helping him carry Harry out of the house. You were both silent even after the job was done. For a while, it was just you, Peter, a passed-out Harry, the house that was on fire, and the sky that decided to rain.
After a few minutes, you heard the sirens that alerted you that the authorities were arriving at the scene. Peter looked at you as if to ask if you called them, and you nodded in response. He put on his mask again.
You watched as the firemen dealt with the burning house. Peter, now back to being Spider-Man, talked with the authorities about Harry and what happened. Harry was still passed out and being carried to an ambulance that would direct him to the hospital to get treated before he would face the consequences of his actions. As for you, you sat in the ambulance getting checked by the medics. You didn’t have any major injuries, just minor ones. When they offered to get you to the hospital just to be sure, you politely declined them and insisted on staying with Spider-Man.
It was as if the universe decided to help with the burning house because the rain decided to turn into a storm. You found a bench close to the house for you to sit on. The storm was getting harsher, but you refused to leave the place without Peter. You just crossed your arms to cope with the growing cold the wind delivered.
After waiting for a few more moments, the house wasn’t on fire anymore and the authorities left the scene for the day. As soon as they left, Peter removed the mask and walked towards the bench you were silently sitting on. “I would offer you a coat, but I don’t have one,” he stopped in front of you.
You looked up at him, standing up so you could look at him properly. “You okay?” you asked, noticing a few bruises on his face. “Yeah,” he nodded. “Are you?” he asked softly.
“I’m fine… still kind of shocked though. Didn’t expect my day to turn out like this,” you told him.
“Why were you using a dating app in the first place?” he asked jokingly.
You knew he was only teasing, but his question struck a nerve in you. To forget you, you wanted to say. Sorry for the mess, I only wanted to fucking forget you. Sorry for trying to move on. Sorry because I fucking love you.
Instead, you answered with another question. “Why didn’t you fucking tell me you’re Spider-Man?” your voice raised unintentionally.
His eyebrows furrowed with the tone of your voice. He tried to get closer to you but you stepped back, rolling your eyes. “Why is your ex fucking insane?!” he matched your attitude.
You scoffed. “Why is your best friend fucking insane?!”
“I–stop. Y/N,” he said softly. He realized from the way you were shaking that you were probably stressed and traumatized because of what happened. His suspicions were confirmed when you suddenly broke down crying. He instantly covered your fragile body with his frame. He hugged you tightly, letting you sob all the stress and frustration away. It was still storming, but none of you cared.
“Shhh,” Peter cooed. When your crying stopped, he held your face with his hands. “Why did you go back?” he asked, looking into your eyes.
“Because I wanted to help you,” you answered.
“And? I know that’s not the only reason you did it.”
You debated on whether to tell him the truth or lie your way out of the conversation. But after the stunt you pulled earlier, you knew Peter wasn’t stupid and would realize the truth sooner.
“Because I care for you. In ways I cannot describe,” you answered truthfully.
“Why do you care for me?” he asked.
“Peter…”
“I need you to say it,” he whispered close to your face. Your nose was close to touching his.
“I won’t because I know you don’t feel the same,” you closed your eyes.
“Open your eyes.”
You opened your eyes.
“Look at me.”
You did what he said.
“Say it.”
It was time to tell him, without fear.
“I love you.”
Peter smiled, before pulling your face closer to him and kissing you hard. Your eyes widened, not expecting him to kiss you. All along, you thought your love was one-sided, but the kiss you were sharing right now proved otherwise. It was your first kiss with him and it was flawless. You closed your eyes and deepened the kiss, you only pulled away when you needed to catch your breath.
“How are you feeling right now?” he smirked. “Did I kiss all your worries away?” he teased.
“I don’t think there’s a word that could do justice to what I’m feeling right now,” you chuckled. “I’m so happy–I feel like my heart is dancing. I could dance right now.”
“Really?” he asked, a clever smile showing up on his face. Suddenly, he offered a hand in front of you. “May I ask you for a dance?”
You accepted his offer. The only music was the storm as it loudly poured on the pavement, but none of you minded it. You swayed with him, giggling as you stared fondly at each other.
You were wearing your best dress, dancing with Peter in a harsh cruel storm, taking each other’s hands as you both drag yourselves head first into your lives and hearts. To be honest, you didn’t how it would get better than this.
“Can I tell you something, Y/N?” he asked, gracefully turning you.
“Of course,” you smiled.
“My heart races for you so fast that I just need to let this out–I love you. I love you so much. I want to spend every day with you. When you’re sad, I want to be the one you run to. When you’re happy, I want to be the reason why. When you’re sick, I want to be the one who takes care of you. When you’re in trouble, I want to be the one who saves you.”
You stroked his cheek lovingly. “I love you too, Peter. I’ve admired you ever since we were children and up until now. When I think of my future and who I want to spend it with–it’s you. It’s always been you. I’m afraid of rejection, that was why I didn’t tell you the moment I knew I have feelings for you. I was always scared that you would turn me down. That’s why all these years I chose to love you behind your back. But now… now that all’s been said and done, I’m not afraid anymore. If what you’re asking me is to enter your life as your partner, then I’ll do it fearlessly.”
He turned you one last time, before putting a hand on your back and on the back of your thigh, gently bending you backwards so he could kiss you deeply once again. Each time he pulled you in his arms, you got a little more brave. As it turned out, all it took for your heart to not be fearful was Peter.
Love really was fearless.
