Lynx was born on accident after a fling between Spottedleaf and Tigerclaw resulted in her but she was slid into Goldenflower’s litter, done by Spotted who had just had the kit a few hours before Golden started kitting her sole surviving kit Swiftkit. No cat besides Spottedleaf and Tigerclaw knew of her true parentage.

She beside her brother and cousin Brightpaw went to prove themselves but was left brotherless and without a tail. Weak, shamed, and grieving Lynxpaw was taken by her now exiled father’s friend Darkstripe to meet her dad and she joined him. She became the devil’s daughter, his butcher and sole heir. She knew it was wrong. She hated the blood that stained her claws. But she couldn’t take it back, not now or ever. She died getting her younger sister Tawnypaw out of Tigerclan, being executed right beside her father. She saved one life. And that’s all that matters to her.

How are some of the Starclan cats taking Spottedleaf's death? Like cats who were close to her such as her parents, Redtail, Bluestar, Copperleaf, and Cricketheart?

Cats like Redtail, Bluestar, Lionheart, Adderfang, Swiftbreeze, Featherwhisker, etc.: Sad, but happy to see her mostly

Cats like Cricketheart, Lynxpaw, etc.: Distant sadness, not sure what to think of the whole Afterlife and Death concept yet, plus not overly close to Spottedleaf to be saddened by her passing

Cats like Copperleaf, etc.: Sad and deeply upset surrounding the circumstances

Cats like Silverstream: "...It was an accident. I don't see why everyone's so upset about Lightningfur's behavior. This is just the life of a warrior. So what, it was fine when Lionheart accidentally killed Whitefang, but not when Lightningfur accidentally killed Spottedleaf? Of course she didn't mean to kill her mother! She loved her mom. The thought of retiring has always crossed Spottedleaf's mind but it's there more then ever as she thinks about taking one more apprentice before going to join her mate in the elder's

Brightstar had taken out a patrol of warriors to explore the territory of their new territory when they came across a group of rouges that had came across the scent lines and after being asked politely to leave but the refused and the rouges attack the clan cats

They fight and attack and when its all said and done the rouges just walk off after killing everyone but Cinderpelt.

WELL sorta. It's not going to be Firestar-- he's had enough badass cameos and someone else needs a turn.

I'm thinking it's Hawkfrost, actually

I want to turn him into a sort of... half-faded creature. Cheshire Cat of the Dark Forest. In the Great Battle he turned against Tigerstar and was mauled for it, but was able to get dragged back to the DF just in time.

But instead of respawning like the other DF spirits, when he double-died, it was partially permanent.

So he exists in this bizarre half-alive half-gone demon form, only existing for short periods of time. Enough to come save his apprentice Ivypool's daughter's mate, but not long enough to mount a resistance to the impostor.

And, importantly, enough to still enjoy the Dark Forest he had come to truly love, with its evil horses and blood-sap. A ghost among ghosts.

#I am really not fond of the 'redemption through death' trope #I try to avoid it at all costs #BB!TBC #It was cool that Firestar came and double killed Darkstripe but also like #can we... not have first arc worship for 5 minutes #He's my favorite little guy but the overreliance on characters that *sincerely* don't matter to the main cast is-- #--One of the reasons why StarClan feels so frustrating #They had to DOUBLE KILL Spottedleaf so they'd stop using her like #they couldn't build any new characters in all of Po3 and OotS #Dove is haunted by Rippletail's death for her whole life and we don'tget HIM in her dreams #Total waste #So in any case that guy possessing Rootspring is not going to be Firestar. It's a soft rule that Dead Cats who interact with Living Cats-- #--Need to have been relevant in Life #Or else they better have a damn good thematic reason for showing up #better bones au

I think something I wish I saw more of was a Rusty is Redtail’s son au’s. Like idk I think it’s really interesting as a idea esp with Spottedleaf as his auntie and her being a bigger cool sassy aunt to him.
