Ticklish (Stan Laurel x Reader)

Title: Ticklish

Pairing: Stan Laurel x gender neutral!reader

Word count: 565

Warning(s): Making out, tickling, and fluff

Summary: What was supposed to be a make-out session between you and Stan turns into an all-out tickle fight.

Author’s Note: So... I basically wrote this fanfic as a way to get over my fear of the tickle torture scene from the film Way Out West.

Like my Nathan Chen fanfic Cheer Up!, I'm embarrassed because there's tickling in it, but I don't think it should be that big of a deal.

It was a rainy day, and you and Stan were lying together in bed. It was the weekend, which meant that not only would Stan give his friend Oliver a break from his troubles, but it also gave you the chance to spend time with your boyfriend. As you were resting against his chest, you felt a surge of inspiration that you couldn't help but smirk at Stan.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Stan?" You winked.

"I certainly am," Stan replied before planting a kiss on your lips.

And so it went, an innocent kiss turned into a passionate make-out. As you got on top of him, you couldn't help but dig your fingers under his shirt. Your fingers spidered all over his sides that Stan's lips parted away from yours, a laugh escaping from his lips.

"Oh my gosh, Stan," you laughed, "are you... ticklish?"

"What? No, I'm not," he continued, tinges of pink coloring his cheeks.

"Aww, come on," you cooed, "you know what this means."

You started lightly poking his stomach, with Stan giggling and squirming all over the bed. Eventually, your fingers moved all the way up to his armpits, where the giggling turned into straight up laughter.

"HAHAHAHA, STOP IT, Y/N!!" Stan shrieked, struggling to escape from your torturous tickling.

"As much as I'd love to, Stanley," you teased, trying not to laugh, "there's just one more spot that needs it." You moved down to his feet, where his soles and your fingers met.

"NOHOHOHO, NOHAHAHAT MY FEHEHEET!" Stan shrieked once again as your fingers danced all over his soles.

"Aww, look how cute you are," you playfully taunted.

Admittedly, you took pleasure in knowing that his feet were sensitive, so you couldn't help but let out a laugh. You continued your tickling until Stan stopped you, grabbing your arms and throwing you back onto the bed, with him now on top of you.

Oh snap, you thought as both of your arms were bound to the bed by your boyfriend's hands. Now what? You were met with Stan's stern but seductive expression, which turned into a devilish smirk. In turn, he started to get back at you by tickling you, starting with your armpits and stomach.

"No, Stan, wait—HAHAHA, STAHAHAHAHAHAN, STAHAHAHAHAP IT, PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE!!" You squealed as you struggled to be released from his tickling.

"Not a chance, Y/N!" Stan playfully chided as he moved all the way down to your feet, giving them the same treatment.

Despite how torturous this was, your face lit up in pleasure, savoring every bit of the tickling. Eventually, Stan slowed down to the point of stopping, and collapsed on the bed to check on you.

"You okay, Y/N?" He panted, exhausted from what happened.

With no words spoken, you pressed your lips against his, resulting in a passionate kiss once again. Stan followed suit, kissing you back and caressing your body however he liked. Once your kiss was over, you rested against his chest, with his arm wrapped around your waist.

"That... was a lot of fun, to be honest," you said, your voice hoarse from the laughter.

"Mind if we do this more often?" Stan asked.

"I'd love that very much," you nodded.

Soon, your fingers spidered across his chest, with Stan's following along to yours, and you both let out a laugh simultaneously as a result.

surprise?

pairing: roommate!yujin x gn!reader

summary: you and the yuehua boys were planning to surprise yujin for his sixteenth birthday before he gets back, but plans didn’t really follow through

notes: this is my first ever post on tumblr so i apologize for the very obviously inexperienced writing, but i’m so excited to finally start posting. this is for the boys planet stans that are deprived of content so enjoy and feedback is always encouraged and appreciated! <3 also, happy birthday to my little peach ring yujin~ ^_^

after several failed attempts and spending almost the whole day in the kitchen, you and the boys had finally finished making the cake to surprise yujin with for his birthday. the kitchen was left looking like a hurricane just hit but thankfully he wouldn’t be back for at least a few hours.

the ingredients were put away and the counters were clean but you guys were left with a gyuvin sized pile of dishes in the sink. since no one was willing to do them this led to you all playing rock paper scissors to decide who gets to go to the store and who gets to do the dishes. somehow ricky, gyuvin, and ollie got to leave for the store, leaving the rest of you to clean up the mess.

the four of you quickly finished up doing the dishes, due to the scrub and rinse line you guys formed. meanwhile, it had been an hour since the boys left and they still weren’t back.

“you think they got distracted by the food samples again?” yunseo said jokingly while placing the cake in the middle of the table.

“i’m sure they just lost ollie again,” hao said with a half-sarcastic and half-serious tone. you laughed while taking your phone out to text gyuvin.

right as you were going to send your message you heard the door being unlocked and the boys were seen walking inside, followed by an extra person. you turned to seungeon to see him already looking at you, wondering if you’re seeing the same thing as he is.

you wore a blank expression on your face before letting it out, “you… brought… yujin… home… with… you…” you yelled, pausing and raising your voice in between each word. you turned to ricky, already showing fear on his face, wondering how he let something like this happen.

yunseo was seen face palming at the side of your eye while hao was frozen in place. you all exchanged looks and took this awkward moment as a cue to follow in with the surprise plan.

“surprise?” everyone in the room said in sync while running to show off the cake on the table.

all yujin could do was scrunch his eyebrows out of confusion, “where are my candles?”

Summary: Henry is interviewed about life post-The Witcher…

Hot Seat - oneshot.

My first thought upon starting my interview with Henry Cavill is that I must have got my lines crossed. Instead of the 39-year-old Jersey-born actor, the featureless wall on the screen in front of reveals a woman. She quickly introduces herself and apologises for his absence. "Our puppy got into a multipack of toilet rolls and is still wreaking havoc, but he'll be right with you." This, as it turns out, is his partner Ollie. The 33-year-old financial advisor (she politely asks me not to give her full name as apparently "the people who care already know it"), has been with the actor for the better part of a decade though it's seldom publicised. They're occasionally pictured together but Henry, known for being one of the more private Hollywood actors, has given away few details about the relationship.

This, however, doesn't stop her from graciously chatting with me while we await his arrival. Having a son with her name, I ask if it's short for something else. "No, just Ollie. My parents were fans of Laurel and Hardy," she says with a shrug. So she's not actually Olivia? "Nope, though I suppose it could have been worse, they could have called me Stan," she replies drily. I tell her my wife and I are expecting a girl in the summer. "Oh how lovely - don't give her a boy's name." Duly noted. I then ask after Kal, Henry's longtime canine companion, and she assures me he's still alive and kicking. So what prompted the puppy? "Anniversary gift," she says between sips of water, though she doesn't give a name or clarify who gifted who. Moving on, I ask if she has any tips for interviewing Henry. "Talk slowly," comes her immediate response. It's not difficult to see how he fell for her, big twinkly eyes and a throaty laugh betray a quick wit that's similar to his own. I venture to ask what it's like being in a relationship with him. "Agonising. I mean his looks alone, I'm at a loss," she deadpans before another laugh. And the fame? "Honestly, it's not something I really think about. Our day-to-day life is very normal."

As if on cue, Henry enters the room with a large and very fluffy puppy trying to wriggle free of his arms. His eyes flash briefly with concern but she gives him a reassuring smile, thanks me for my patience, and wishes me well. She then pats Henry on the chest, tells him to behave himself, and disappears with the puppy in tow. The screen now fills with his impressive frame though his demeanour is infinitely milder - if slightly harried. "My apologies John. Akita's - can't live with them, can't live without them." Much has been made of the peaks and troughs of his Hollywood career. At one point in the early aughts, he'd missed out on multiple high-profile roles (Henry Cavill: Hollywood's unluckiest actor?) Finally bagging Superman in 2013 with Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, he proved capable of big returns and even bigger popularity (Henry Cavill: Superman for a new generation).

This makes news of his recent departure from both Netflix's The Witcher (ostensibly because of creative differences), and DC's Superman franchise (due to the recent hiring of James Gunn as the studio's creative leader), all the more stupefying. But whether or not he really is Hollywood's 'unluckiest' actor, this isn't a term that reflects his life outside of the job, something which definitely marks him out from his contemporaries. In addition to a much-protected relationship (neither he nor his publicist confirms the status of it despite appearing to wear a wedding ring), he hails from a loving family and has a close-knit group of friends. He withdrew from a recent project (for reasons unrelated to the project itself), but is now in talks to appear in and produce an adaptation of Warhammer 40, 000 after Amazon recently secured the rights to the popular tabletop game.

It's actually not the first time I've met Henry. Our paths once crossed some years ago in a hotel lobby though this brief encounter was part of a jam-packed press tour. Today's meeting isn't scheduled for a considerably longer time, but there's more than enough to discuss. A colleague did however warn me that despite a more ingenuous nature, he can make for a difficult interviewee. For the first part of our interview, I would be inclined to agree. Though pleasant, his answers border on glib and this is perhaps unsurprising given the recent twists and turns of his career. Happily, he warms up as our fourty minutes go by and on this occasion, is more revealing about life away from the cameras…

J: First thing's first, are you watching the Six Nations (an annual international men's rugby union competition)?

H: Yeah, it's been dismal though (England won just two out of five matches)… doesn't bode well for the World Cup does it?

J: No it doesn't. Now I know you can't say much at the moment about more recent as well as upcoming projects, but I wanted to get your take on the development of IPs for modern audiences. More than ever it seems a rather precarious business…

H: I think that's a fair assessment. There's lots of competition and only a finite amount of resources, so balancing what audiences want against the financial gains is tricky.

J: So what's the solution?

H: Are you trying to get me into trouble (laughs)? It depends. I mean, you can experiment a bit more with big projects. But for niche ventures, I think it's probably better to lean on the source material and fanbases already there.

J: But do you think there's a general fatigue with certain genres at the moment?

H: Perhaps, but that's why it's all the more important to look at the project as a whole. More often than not, if a project sinks it's on the project, not the audience.

J: Surely events such as the pandemic have had a huge impact though?

H: Yeah, definitely. But I don't think it's that difficult to produce big and/or successful entertainment because if anything, the need has never been stronger. It may just require studios to slow down a bit and think harder about each stage of development.

J: Do you feel more at peace with your career these days?

H: I would say so. I mean it's not an industry you ever feel secure in because that's not really the nature of it. But I still feel the same rush and excitement. I think there's a tendency to forget that actors act for the same reason people enjoy consuming our work. We like to escape and have fun as well.

J: What has it taught you about yourself?

H: Well for one it's bettered my patience (laughs). There's also nothing like acting to improve your physique (laughs).

J: Do you still feel the same pressures to look and perform a certain way?

H: I mean to an extent it's just the expectation and I completely respect that - if you're spending millions bringing, say, Superman to life, whoever plays him must at the very least, look like him.

J: And what are your thoughts now that that franchise will be moving ahead without you?

H: Well, for one, I'm not as devastated as everyone seems to think (laughs). I had a blast making those films and I was looking forward to expanding on what was created but the workouts were something else. As were the press tours (laugh).

J: Would you say that's one of the biggest drawbacks now for actors?

H: I suppose. I mean who honestly wants to be hooked up to a lie detector and asked leading questions (laughs)? I find it a bit unfair at times. I'm not suggesting for one minute that actors aren't immensely lucky or privileged. Of course, what we do is comparatively easy. But the amount of exposure will always be a double-edged sword, no question.

J: You've said in the past you're not a huge fan of social media, do you think it's essential to what you do?

H: Perhaps not essential but it's undeniably very useful. And I have no issue in sharing parts of my life with those who find it interesting. But I also don’t see the harm in a bit of mystery, there's no need to upload and share absolutely everything.

J: More male stars are speaking up about the double standards in how they're treated by fans and the wider public. Are those sentiments you share?

H: Yes and no. I mean most of the time it's harmless and of course very flattering, but I think it's always best to put others at ease rather than risk making them uncomfortable. Of course, everyone has different ideas on how to do that (laughs) but as the old saying goes, do unto others…

J: I imagine it's different when that attention is also directed at those closest to you?

H: Oh absolutely. My friends and family didn't sign up for that but luckily they're good-natured about it.

J: It seems the lines are becoming more and more blurred though…

H: Yeah, and that's a shame. But it's also why you need to be prudent about how much of it you elicit and engage in.

J: But do you take issue with the amount of gossip? I imagine it's hard knowing it's out there when there's not much you can do about it.

H: I try and look for the silver linings, I mean if people are that invested it means you at least have some relevance still. Besides, I have a very happy, successful life outside of what I do and that makes all the difference.

J: I am curious to know how you've managed to make that work…

H: Well I don't want to give the impression that it's easy because it's not. Spending so much time away from the people you love is easily the worst thing about this job and it's something I'm always trying to improve.

J: You're also approaching 40, has that caused you to stop and take stock?

H: Thanks for the reminder (laughs). Nah I'm in a good place about it actually. Well, for now… (laughs).

J: Are there any roles, in particular, you still wish to play?

H: Not really. I think most people see me as an action star and I'm happy to remain so. It seems to be what I excel at though I've also enjoyed branching out into more comedic roles. More of those would be nice.

J: So you've no burning desires for the future? What about regrets?

H: I wouldn't say that (laughs). There's some stuff I've yet to get around to, as for regrets I've very few.

J: Such as?

H: Well, some of the films I've made for starters (laughs). Although that's not really fair as there's always something to take away from those experiences.

J: What about personally?

H: Um (pauses), nothing springs to mind. I wish I'd met my better half a lot sooner. But we've been together for over seven years so I can't complain.

J: If I remember rightly you'd just started seeing each other the last time we spoke.

H: That's right! God, where's the time gone?

J: How were the lockdowns for you both?

H: You know, as scary and traumatic as that time was, I can honestly say it reaffirmed to me that I'd made the right choices.

J: Did she feel similarly?

H: Perhaps not at first (laughs).

J: You certainly seem to share the same sense of humour. You know she introduced herself as the maid?

H: (Looks around) I hope you didn't fall for it… (laughs). And she's far more warped, trust me. She's just better at hiding it (laughs).

J: Care to give some examples?

H: Oh God, where do I start (laughs)? To be honest I'm not sure I can without making her look completely mad… though that wouldn't be an unfair assessment (laughs) (slight pause). She's a nightmare to text. Her idea of messaging me usually involves repeating a word until I manage to guess what on earth she's on about (laughs). I was in London a few days back and I messaged her asking how her morning had gone and she just kept responding with the word 'log' (laughs). So there I was, in a meeting with my business manager, trying to figure out at the back of my mind what she meant. Did she want to log a complaint (laughs)? Was I supposed to bring home a chocolate log? Did we need more firewood (laughs)? Turns out she'd just tripped over one while walking the dogs. See? Mad (grins).

J: My wife's like that but with GIFs.

H: Yeah, I get those less often but to maximum effect (laughs). Like I remember when I was getting fitted for the suits I wore in The Man from Uncle. I sent her a picture of my favourite and she immediately winged back a gif of Sterling Archer (from FX's 2009 animated sitcom Archer) (laughs).

J: Is she indifferent to what you do?

H: It's not that she's indifferent, she's just not taken in by it and thank God because it helps keep me sane.

J: So she likes to keep you on your toes?

H: Oh yeah, our life's never dull (laugh). The last time I was away filming, I'd stupidly warned her beforehand not to go anywhere near this rare Warhammer figurine that a friend sent me. So cue the photos of it in the dust container of the Dyson, at the edge of Kal's food bowl as his face was in it… she even sent me one of it in the washing machine just as it was filling up with water. That one warranted a phone call (laughs).

J: Oh dear. Did it survive?

H: Annoyingly it was absolutely fine… she's done worse (laughs).

J: Such as?

H: Er, well there was the time I was in New Zealand shooting the helicopter sequence for Mission Impossible: Fallout. I've talked about it before so I'm not going to rehash it but the conditions were extreme so everyone was pretty miserable. What made it worse was that a few weeks before, she'd broken her hand - the story of how she did that is actually funnier than the one I'm about to tell—

J: What happened?

H: … No, I can't say. She'd kill me (laughs). Anyway, being halfway across the world I couldn't get back to her and was in a bit of a state about it. So to cheer me up, one afternoon she sends me a video of her at the physio's office and in it (laughs)… she's wearing one of those old-fashioned prosthetic split hooks (laughs). What's amazing is how she somehow managed to rope the physio in, like as soon as he comes into the room she puts her phone down so as not to film him (laughs).

J: Where on earth did she get a split hook?

H: I know right? She told me Etsy but God knows… apparently the physio provided the arm it was attached to (laughs). So there I was, suspended above the Southern Alps, laughing the hardest I've ever laughed in my life.

J: Did you show it to Tom Cruise?

H: Oh yeah.

J: And what did he say?

H: She's a keeper (laughs). I'd play it for you but it got deleted when I changed phones a little while back.

J: Well, that's disappointing. What happened to the hook?

H: When I finally came home we had some champagne to celebrate and when I went to the drawer, I found she'd chucked it in there with the bottle openers (laughs).

J: Are there any more stories you can share?

H: Yeah, but I think I've said enough (laughs).

J: What makes the two of you such a good match do you think?

H: She's got a long fuse which certainly helps (laughs). We were just meant for each other (shrugs).

J: Did it feel that way quite early on? I know it did with my wife.

H: Oh yeah, almost instantly. When you know, you know.

A week after we meet I receive a gift at the office - a box of homemade cookies (which are heavenly) and a beautiful baby blanket. Accompanied is a note which first apologises for the gift's tardiness 'Henry ate the first batch,' thanks me for a good interview and then encourages some skepticism of the tales told as 'they're only mostly true.' Either way, I concede that he is indeed a lucky man.

i feel like i'm submitting to the mortifying ordeal of being known by admitting this, but when it comes to oliver x ollie i am their self proclaimed number one enthusiast, biggest advocate and leader of their fanclub. they just mean so much to me, okay? they're side characters who don't show up that often, so how invested i am on them can vary from "yeah i can see it" to "OH MY GOD YES", but it's always positive

i have lots, LOTS of headcanons for them, both silly ones and sad ones, as well as huh... a few half finished fanfics saved on my phone. i thought they were cute from the beginning, though i feel like they have more fanfic potential post ollie's unbrainwashing. he has a lot to unpack (the living doll trauma all the human kids in the manor have AND the additional of the bad situation he was in pre selection AND the fact that he has nowhere to go when he leaves the manor), and i just love how much oliver cares about him. ollie used to be so lonely and isolated before, i'm very happy that even among all this madness he finally found someone who not only doesn't judge him for his interests but shares them with him, someone who wants to he friends with him. he spent so long being that person no one wants in any way, and now he has someone who's afraid to lose him, it's just *screams* i don't care if they like each other romantically or platonically or a mix of both, i just love how devoted they are to each other

i really wish more people were invested in these two, i've never seen fanfics of them other than my own, it's just radio silence 😅 i don't know if it's the fandom that doesn't know what it's missing or if it's me that's being weird

i colored the t4t squared because i've seen at least two people have slightly different trans headcanons for these two, and now they live in my head rent free. also "unhealthy in a good way" because as much as i absolutely love the energy oliver gave off when he said ollie didn't do anything wrong (when he very much did) and redirected the blame to himself and i joke that he's ollie's biggest stan, that is something he needs to work on

we're robbed of all khanna family content, despite rowan being The best friend of mc. so, as resident rowan stan, i naturally took the job jc didn't and sharing it with you guys. feel free to use these in your own stories.

HAZEL AND FAMILY

- let's start with the nuclear family. hazel khanna is rowan's mother, and anthony khanna is rowan's dad. not to forget rowan's little brother, ashok khanna, who's about two years younger than harry potter, for reference. which means he's about 10 years younger than rowan and the hphm gang.

- hazel is the eldest daughter of willow khanna, rowan's grandma. hazel has three younger siblings: anya khanna, jehan khanna, and rani khanna. sadly, rani died when she and hazel were little — in a game of hide and seek, she hid in a dangerous part of the farmhouse and hazel was too late when she found her. she carries the tragic guilt for a long time, causing her to develop overprotective tendencies around the people she loves, especially rowan.

- anthony wasn't the first man hazel married. on her age of 18, willow had arranged her with a man she chose for her eldest. hazel experienced a miscarriage, which messed her up horribly considering her past experiences with a child dying thanks to her “lack of caution”. her husband was dissatisfied with her condition and left.

- anthony malhotra is a tall, cheerful guy. he and hazel had been best friends in their hogwarts years, along with two other people ( who i hope isn't very obvious as a rowan x mc activist hahahaha ) in their respective years. they met each other again by accident in a marketplace and caught up after years. anthony learned of the struggles hazel had been going through and stayed with her. he knew he can't help her, but he'll be there for her. after a few years of dating, they got married. they skipped having a baby for a couple of years due to hazel's trauma. but in the end, they had baby rowan.

- hazel tends to be restricting and overprotective when it comes to rowan. rowan is clumsy and loud and is prone to getting themself in trouble, which pushes hazel to fear the worst. she gets neurotic over the smallest scrapes in rowan's knee and over the most common tummyache they get from eating too much candy. anthony reminds hazel to relax, that their kid is fine, they're just being a kid who does kid things. anthony's words are soothing and right, and she relaxes in his arms as they watch their little kid run around chasing ducks.

ANYA AND FAMILY

- ashok khanna is the youngest grandchild of willow in the khanna household. he develops a more mischievous nature while also being little bashful at first. unlike rowan, he doesn't struggle with friends and has a bit of a rebellious streak which makes him likeable by kids his age. though, it's undeniable that he's a mommy's boy.

- anya khanna is the second child to willow khanna. being close in age to hazel ( smart, pretty, responsible, perfect hazel ) and jehan ( beautiful, loved, popular jehan ) leaves her in a somewhat constant “feeling inferior” state. also she's autistic, though not officially diagnosed.

- if you remember rowan mentioning their uncle ollie who makes brooms, this is him ! ollie o'brien is a specialist in broom making and loving his wife. he supports his younger kids' ambition in quidditch, as it is also one of his greatest passions.

- their eldest daughter, apple khanna. she loves baking and is often in charge of big event family meals. she's quiet and reserved but sweet and caring, especially towards her mother. grandma willow likes her for her diligence and obedience, though would love for her to be a bit more chatty and social.

JEHAN AND FAMILY

- their younger pair of twins, joni and jorya khanna. playing in gryffindor's quidditch team, these two are as chaotic as a pair of bludgers. they're loud and enjoy making their presence known by causing trouble. grandma willow finds these two infuriating, and are often the cause of anya looking ten years older. they love to bully and tease their younger cousin, rowan. joni also takes a special interest in duelling, while her twin brother has a secret hobby in sculpting and painting.

- jehan khanna is the third child to willow khanna. he's famous for his modelling work in the wizarding fashion industry, as he's the most fashionable guy in the khanna household. willow is most prideful of him, as his rising star career helps the farmhouse and the family greatly.

- jehan is married to perry gaumont ( they/them ), who is a well-known ballroom dancer in the wizarding arts community. they met during a convention and decided they clicked rather well, so then they hit it off and had two lovely daughters, also following in their parents' footsteps to fame.

- cypress khanna is jehan's eldest daughter, and also the oldest khanna grandchild. she's sweet, graceful, and attractive with a mesmerizing voice. she's a singer and a violinist, famous at a young age — way before she had even joined hogwarts. cypress is willow's favorite grandchild. rowan feels both intimidated and drawn to this particular cousin.

EXTRA:

- kiran khanna is jehan's youngest daughter. unlike her sister, being born into fame at a young age unfortunately makes her entitled and a little spoiled. she often feels one-upped by her sister, receiving less attention whenever she's around. she also enjoys picking on her cousins, especially rowan. grandma willow often overlooks her, which drives her competitive nature over the roofs.

- the founder of the khanna tree farm is a guy named elmer khanna, owner of an elm wand. his grandson came up with the khanna heirloom spell, which is then passed on for generations.

- if you noticed, some of the khannas have names resembling wood names. willow, hazel, cypress, apple, rowan. the khannas uphold this specific family tradition where firstborns are given the name of the tree they choose.

- there's a family heirloom in the form of a spell that can only be cast by a khanna, in which the spell is cast upon the firstborn, allowing the child to feel a strong magical pull towards a tree grown in their farm. the child will be named after the tree, and the wood of said tree is destined to be the firstborn's wand for a lifetime. a broken firstborn’s wand is considered a bad omen.

- cypress was a gryffindor, apple a hufflepuff, kiran a slytherin, the twins gryffindors, and ashok a ravenclaw. rowan was a huge hatstall.

- from the youngest grandkid to the oldest: ashok ( 1 ), rowan ( 11 ), joni and jorya ( 14 ), kiran ( 16 ), apple ( 19 ), cypress ( 20 ).

- jehan and perry helped make the family and community trans friendly, which is why rowan feels more comfortable exploring their own gender and sexuality at a young age.

- i'll add more if i remember !

- anthony, ollie, and perry are absolute trophy husbands who married into the family. <3

- hazel was a gryffindor and anthony was a ravenclaw. they were a group of best friends with kenneth and delia, adel's parents.

- rani stayed behind as one of the farmhouse’s resident ghosts, among with a couple other khannas who chose to stay behind. she’s the youngest ghost in the farmhouse.

- rowan looks a lot like their late aunt rani.

- not sure if i'll make this canon yet, but i made a headcanon ( for my own headcanon lmao ) that hazel's first son is actually alive. r took the baby for some reason and tampered with the khannas memories of the baby, leaving them with the knowledge that the baby was never delivered. the boy is supposedly around the same age as jacob, and is raised in r as their own boy. he later escapes and finds his family, unsure of whether or not the khannas will accept him, a boy they have no memories of, he turns into a fluffy ginger cat. 10 year old rowan takes him in and names him fuzzclaw.

aftg x barbie (hear me out)

in honor of the barbie 2023 movie i’ve been marathoning the early/mid 2000’s classics (swan lake, princess & the pauper, iykyk) and naturally i started thinking, what if we made it aftg? O_o

now i cannot write for the life of me so this is just a collection of ideas and headcanons - if there are any other early barbie turned aftg fans, this one's for you

Magic of Pegasus AU

MoP is such an underrated film, its one of the only ones where the main couple doesn’t immediately fall for each other so all the banter and the sass is -immaculate-

the hardest part in casting this one was figuring out who’s gonna be the horse… like someone’s gotta do it. first i thought andrew & aaron as annika & brietta for the twinyard solidarity but neil gives me such annika vibes - i will elaborate - so kevin, sweet prince, its time for u to sprout some wings

So we have Neil as the prince, master figure skater that i’ve now decided he is, goes into town where he’s propositioned by Riko, evil/bastard sorcerer, that if he doesn’t marry him in 3 days everyone in the kingdom is forever turned to stone. alas, he’s rescued by the mysterious stallion that is kevin (im so sorry to the kevin stans out there) to bring him to Cloud Kingdom as a refuge. like in the movie, we find out kevin was once offered the same deal from riko, only when he refused, he was turned into a horse :/

idk if allison or dan would be the cloud queen, they both could fit the role tbh, and maybe matt & renee are their knights? (i’m imagining renee as this valkyrie-type warrior, she’s just so cool)

Cloud Queen, let's say Allison, tells Neil about building the wand of light to break the spell and I can just imagine his face

Allison: Yeah, there’s this legend of a wand, we don’t know if it’s real, and you just have to find a measure of courage, ring of love, and gem of ice lit by hopes eternal flame :D

Neil: you want me to do what

but at his core, he wants to protect his people so ofc he’s gonna do it. Neil & Kevin set off for the Forbidden Forest where in comes Andrew as Aidan. when i tell you annika and aidan are so andreil-coded, like the script literally writes itself!!!

*for context, Neil & Kevin got caught in a rope trap*

Andrew: Tell me, who’s bright idea was it to come to here? Only fools come to the Forbidden Forest.

Neil: And yet, you’re here. :)))))

LIKE CMONNNN neil would absolutely antagonize the very person who clearly has the advantage, it just works.

the whole scene with neil in the giant’s hut outsmarting ollie by taunting him to chain himself to a tree and break free, it fits so well and just to see andrew’s reaction at the end, (”you’re braver than i thought…”) yessir

they recruit andrew, as he’s a blacksmith, to later put the wand together and the parallels in their relationship, the whole thing about needing a second chance to set things right - chef’s kiss.

we can skip over some of the middle plot, there’s a lot of traveling and banter that i could probably talk about all day but cut to the scene where they finally assemble the wand and reverse the spell on Kevin, can u picture for me:

Andrew: That looks good on you, Kevin.

Kevin: Shut up.

thank you.

it gets real juicy from here, once Neil & Kevin and Andrew dramatically part ways (he really doesn’t want to leave them on their own) Riko comes back around for the attack. they fall into the ravine, neil is fucking -pissed- bc no one hurts Kevin like that again and orders the wand to destroy Riko but, gasp, it doesnt work?? neil is desperate at this point, he says fine Riko i’ll marry you but Riko is all bitch you just tried to kill me, how about I just kill you…and buries him under an avalanche

the angst, the beautiful angst of Andrew coming back in on Kevin alone in the ravine because where is neil? this snarky prince who gets under his skin but is also so smart and understands him? they dig neil out from where riko trapped him under an avalanche and just.. “I never should’ve left you”. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

when they’re back in the cloud kingdom and neil is still unconscious:

Andrew, internally: Please wake up, please. I need you.

check me into the ward rn bc i am unheathily obsessed with this.

Neil wakes up, but lo and behold its sunset on the third day. Renee, matt, and dan try to prolong the sunset for neil bc now these are also his people and they’re not gonna let him suffer. We get a fun scene with neil and andrew ice skating their way through Riko’s big mountain, palace, thing.. even in the movie they just love one-upping each other.

we get to the climax where neil has recovered the ‘broken’ wand from Riko’s lair but the gem falls off the cliff (neil would never fumble like that but for the sake of plot, i digress). enter andrew with the second gem he secretly took earlier!! because he’s willing to give up his second chance to make sure neil gets his!!! they undo all of Riko’s spells and cue the very barbie-esque speech that the wand can only work out of love, never hate <3

Neil returns the wand to the Cloud Kingdom for safe keeping and u know, that blacksmith from earlier seems to be real fond of forever staying by his side~

This has gotten pretty long now that i go back thru it lol and this may be for a very niche audience- i’m not sure if i’ve seen any aftg MoP au’s but i just love the concept and merging my old hyperfixations with new ones has been super fun

Please touch grass and block the JayRoy tag. It's fine that you don't ship it, but people can ship what they want. I don't personally like Oliver x Dinah, but it unfortunately still exists. It's a multiverse. There are times where he's cheated on her or their marriage falls apart, he also doesn't seem to help Roy through rehab a lot of the time and has abandoned his own biological child before. I feel like Dinah could use a different love interest at times because it's always Ollie. I kinda enjoy seeing him offed at times.

I wonder what Ollie being written as a cheater and JayRoy share (spoiler alert: it's OOC writing that exploded into popularity so now people incorrectly think its inherently part of the character)

also, why would Ollie help Roy with rehab again when Roy already got over his addiction on his own and never relapsed again? Unless no. Don't tell me that you batfam stans don't read Green Arrow comics. I truly am shocked.

Author’s Note: This fanfic was inspired by the scene in Swiss Miss. I wanted to make my own X reader version of the scene, with a little twist :3

This was originally going to be my first X reader fanfic of 2023, but a lot had happened, so this was in my drafts for a while. However, you can thank my crush on Wally Darling from Welcome Home and the fanfictions of him for getting me back into it. 😉

You had known Stan for quite some time now, however your feelings for him had not manifested... until a particular incident happened.

It all started when you were chatting with Stan like usual. Despite being the goofball he was, he managed to be poise when it came to conversing with people other than his best friend Ollie. The chat ended with Stan doing his distinctive smirk, causing your heart to flutter slightly and your cheeks to turn a shade of red.

Flash forward to today, you sat alone on the couch in the living room of Stan’s house, your mind still wandering about him and how attractive he was. As Stan entered the room, he couldn’t help but notice you all by yourself. Your mind’s fixation of him was interrupted when he sat next to you and asked “What the matter?”

You jumped and looked around, only to find Stan next to you. Oh, you thought, it’s just him. You tried your best not to act awkward around him, but it was impossible, with your cheeks flushing red and your hands covering your face. “I... don’t know,” your voice muffled through your hands.

“I know,” Stan replied. Hearing him say that caused your hands to let go of your face.

“What is it?” You turned to him, waiting for a response.

There was a moment of silence until Stan uttered, “You’re in love.”

Wait, what?! You thought, your heart racing faster than usual.

“In what?” Your eyes widened at Stan’s response.

“In love. L-U-G-H, love,” he nodded.

“Am I?”

“You certainly are.”

Oh snap, you thought. How did Stan, the guy you had a massive crush on, know you were in love? But to make it more shocking, did he even know you had feelings for him? This situation was even more awkward than you expected, as your face turned more red.

“How did you...?”

“It’s easy,” Stan explained, “look at the silly, sloppy look on your face. Look at it.”

You were already aware you looked, in Stan’s words, “silly and sloppy,” but the fact that Stan knew your feelings was more unbelievable. “Is that what it is?” You asked, pretending to be naïve.

Stan nodded. “You mind if I tell you something else?”

“What?”

“I’m in love with you, too.” He displayed his distinctive smirk once again.

Wait, you thought. So Stan likes me, too? Now the fact that Stan confessed his feelings for you in this very moment was way more crazier than him noticing your feelings.

“T-tell me some more, Stanley,” you stuttered, albeit relieved that Stan reciprocated your feelings for him.

“There’s nothing to tell,” he replied. “I just knew you liked me from the start, so that’s why I wanted to do this.” Stan leaned over to your face, pressing his lips against yours. Your eyes widened in shock at the touch of his lips, but you eventually placed your hands on his cheeks, kissing him back before your and his lips parted from each other. What happened to be your first kiss was also your most passionate one.

“You know what,” you said, “you’re right.”

The both of you smiled with your noses nuzzling each other.
