Types of Stardew Valley Players when Romancing People:

Type A: Makes different farms to romance each bachelor/bachelorette.

Type B: Romances everyone on one profile, by marrying and divorcing each person.

Type C: Makes a new farm with the intention of marrying a different person, but always goes back to their one true love. Whether they married someone else before meeting their one true love depends on if they are Type C-A (married someone else before trying their true love's route) or Type C-B (found their true love first).

Type D: Saw the one and fell in love instantly. They shall never romance anyone else. They will make numerous different profiles with the sole intention of just going through their heart events all over again. They will never dream of divorcing them. Has never romanced anyone else and probably never will. They are obsessed with their partner, giving them gifts every single day, talking to them as much as they can in one day (every day), and they probably get no real work done on the farm.

Type E: Type D, but make it a healthy relationship.

Y'all can probably guess which one I am.

Abigail:

What???

Honestly, she's a bit confused. She had absolutely no idea where that question had even come from. One second you two are playing games and the next you're asking a question like that? What's the connection??

She starts laughing at the silly question. You couldn't mean it literally, right?

"You've been around Sebastian too much babe."

She doesn't take it seriously until you give her that face.

She feels a little bad if she hurt your feelings. She didn't mean to! She just... didn't know you actually meant it so seriously!

"Aww baby don't look so sad it's making me feel bad! You know I'd love you if you were a frog! I'd still love you if you were the slimiest, weirdest looking frog ever!"

Is that a compliment??? Was that an insult?? You don't even know. At least you know she'll be stuck with you forever, right?

Sam:

You instantly got this man giggling. Not in the way Abi was, where he doesn't take you seriously at all, but more of just a flustered, sort of teasing giggle.

"Sunshine, of course I would."

You felt at ease he said it in such a kind way. It instantly makes you sigh in relief.

"...Though, it would be hard. I mean... I wouldn't be able to take you to many places like I do now. Wait... You wouldn't even be able to farm! A chicken might eat you or something too if you try to be cool with other animals! -"

...He's overthinking the question.

He suddenly looks panicked, grabbing you by the shoulders.

"Babe, how are you gonna come to my concerts? What would my family say if you were a frog!?"

He suddenly rests his head on yours, his mouth lifting into a bit of a smirk when out of your view.

"Just don't turn into a frog, okay? That would kinda suck."

Sebastian:

"Yes."

He didn't even think about it. His answer just kinda flew out of his mouth when he comprehended the question at hand.

He gives you a soft smile, resting his face in his hand as he stared at you with pure adoration.

"I'd get you a little frog house and a little frog farm. I'll make sure you're the happiest frog on the planet."

You turned bright red. It was just a goof and a gaff kinda question Seb not a serious life or death one.

He realized what he said, blushing a bit and avoiding your eyes.

"Sorry... Too weird?"

Not even in the slightest. He's just... A cute, frog loving dude T_T

Elliott’s Immersive Wedding Mod v.2.0.0 is now up and ready to play!

Explore 3 new wedding day events with Elliott, including a wedding reception hosted at the Stardrop Saloon, as well as 2 intimate events with Elliott at home (PG - PG 13) in between events, and much more!

This new update also features new sprites and portraits based off my other mod, Elliott Scottish Wedding Kilt, as well as edited marriage dialogue with a little Scottish Gaelic affection sprinkled in. 

Your choices in-game will affect your relationship with Elliott, as well as open up different opportunities for new events, revealing vanilla-based character growth for Elliott throughout your time together in Pelican Town. 

More about this mod:

Elliott is an ISFP who is quirky, grandiose, and romantic but also largely misunderstood by others. In the beginning, his superficial traits tend to rub people the wrong way (melodramatic, vain, and “life-is-a-stage” type attitude) but getting to know and befriend him over the course of the game, we come to see him as a deeply passionate and highly motivated person, who is unapologetically true to himself and his values, despite the odds and adversity. Throughout your friendship, you see Elliott come out of his shell more and engage with the others around him, despite his history of rejection and discouragement. 

Though much of his personal growth can be seen through heart events, dialogue, (and stalking him around town), I wanted to delve deeper into his character and explore how his choice to move to Pelican Town has shaped his personal growth, including his relationship with others in town - and most importantly - his relationship with the farmer, from friendship to marriage.

So you all know how it always rains on Spring 3rd and Summer 13th? Just those days? And how Alex’s birthday is Summer 13th, which means it’s rained every year on his birthday. Depressing right?

Well, in my newest farm I wanted to marry Alex for the first time, and I accidentally timed the proposal three days before his birthday.

So, not only was it the happiest day of his life because he was marrying ME, on his BIRTHDAY, but it was the first time in his life it hadn’t rained on his birthday.

Then he refused to talk to me all day after the wedding, showing only disgruntled emotes. Turns out he was upset that there “wasn’t anyplace for him to sleep” since I replaced the bed with a small one. WE CAN CUDDLE ALEX!!!

Okay this conversation has definitely happened before but…anybody up to talk about Shane from Stardew as a character/marriage candidate? I absolutely understand that people choose to marry him, like him, empathise, etc. But I just think his story arch is a bit…problematic. From him clearly not wanting to interact with you in the beginning to him over sharing (in my opinion) the moment you get closer…it just doesn’t sit right with me. What are your thoughts on him? Would love to talk about it ✌🏻

Slime of the day!

Every day until submissions close I want to have a "Slime of the day" depicting some of my favorite slimes from media in which I have consumed. :) Sorry if your favorite slime doesn't show up, that just means I either haven't heard of the media in which they are from or I haven't consumed it yet!

Day 4 is the slimes from Stardew Valley! This cozy little farming RPG came out in 2016 and has been in my heart since I bought it (I have it on like 2 systems and gifted it to someone as well) I LOVE their little faces and I love the slime hutches. :)

If you can guess who my favorite marriage candidate is I will personally make propaganda for your slime of choice hehe <3 (based on who guesses first)

I started a new save because my current/main save was completely dedicated to Elliott which resulted in having no farm stuff, no hearts with anyone else, literally nothing but 14 hearts with the lovely author (no regrets there)

Anywho, this time I have decided to romance the one and only Harvey, while also becoming friends with Evelyn and Sam. I will be working on maybe befriending Shane, probably Maru as well. I want at least 4 hearts with everyone tbh, maybe 6-8 but I’ll start with 4.

I will actually work to have a good farm, get some animals, get rich, and finish the game.

I know it’s not Fathers Day by 30 minutes but I’m sad so I’m doing SDV marriage candidate Fathers Day Headcanons and whoever else I feel like!!!

Abigail: Thinks Fathers Day is a corporate holiday made up by capitalism. Caroline and Pierre would like her to celebrate so to compromise she gives him a rock.

Alex: He HATES this holiday and will typically spend it in his room. However sometime within the next week, he’ll get George a card and a small token of appreciation. George appreciates it more than he lets on. Evelyn thinks it’s very cute. Neither of them push him.

Elliot: He sends his dad a text. He used to do more, but mail from Pelican Town is expensive.

Emily: She makes little gifts for all the dads in town. How sweet!

Harvey: It’s just another day for him really.

Haley: She spends this day kinda sad. She always writes her dad a letter, but he never replies back due to being…y’know. Missing.

Leah: Her family used to have the BIGGEST Father’s Day celebrations and she always makes sure to send her dad a handmade card.

Maru: They spend the entire day doing science stuff. Then the family goes to dinner.

Penny: She enlists all the kids in helping Emily with Father’s Day since none of them have people they’d consider to be fathers. That day is hard for her, but she puts on a brave smile for the kids. Jodi always gets her a nice present because she feels bad.

Sam: Doesn’t know how to do the holiday. Helps Vincent write cards and gives his mom a gift as well.

Sebastian: Gives Demitrius a “bro fist” and that’s about it. He’s not very good at this but Demitrius appreciates it. He also gives Demitrius a card which makes his mom happy.

Shane: Jas gets him a little gift which makes him feel about a million different things. He wishes he was a better Godfather.

I'm currently in a loveless marriage with Harvey from Stardew valley, who I haven't divorced or cheated on because I think of him as a very close friend and fear hurting his feelings.

I'm also in love with Shane who is wildly different to Harvey, seeing Harvey is a doctor and Shane doesn't care for his health seemingly at all.

I also have two kids from a previous failed marriage with Alex, who at the time I loved but we grew apart.

Sebastian with a Farmer who Tries to Get Him Out of His Shell <333

Okay, Sebastian is obviously not really an outdoorsy type of person... initially. The most enjoyment he'd get from going outside was when it was raining or snowing, and he just couldn't see anything great about the warmer seasons.

He also disliked doing hard labor for work, so farming and doing any outside work would be out of the question in the beginning.

However, you seemed to enjoy going outside so... He might as well try.

Before you two were officially together, he'd get out of his room just to see you. Sure, the weather didn't necessarily keep him in comfort on hot days, but he'd do anything to see you smile the way you do at him.

"Oh uh... Hey farmer. It's cool to see you... No... No, I'm good. It's just... a bit hot."

The same somewhat goes for farming work. He initially didn't even think about doing it before he saw how tired you were from it. He just wanted to see you get some rest, so he looked up farming tips before going to your house in the morning and helping you secretly with whatever work you needed.

He was a bit too shy to admit it was actually him, so you'd probably live in mystery for a while over the bizarre nature of your crops being watered.

Though, you may be able to piece it together when you tell him about it. He just smiles widely with how happy you seem with less work.

After you two get together, he'll try even harder to go outside with you, even if that means he's gotta take his hoodie off.

If it pleases you, then he'll farm with you in the mornings. He'll try whatever work you give him, but still may need guidance.

He'll try his best to listen to your farming lessons, but he's still fairly new to it. As long as your patient and understanding with him he won't get frustrated or anything.

He'd be great with more mechanical aspects of your farm, along with building fences and such too! He works on his motorcycle quite frequently and had an intelligent sister like Maru and a carpenter like his mom. While he isn't close to his family, he might have gotten a few skills from watching what they were doing.

Even if he does try really hard to go outside with you, he'd probably still prefer working inside. He'd most likely take a few breaks between going outside and farming.

Random, but I feel as if he's hum or something when he farms with you. He'll get a lil embarrassed if you catch him, but it also may end up with you two humming and/or singing together.

Overall, he tries pretty hard just to make you comfortable and happy! While it still might not be his favorite thing, he still finds some aspects to enjoy!

Somehow I have accidentally skipped my wedding in Stardew??? I quit the game right as the scene was starting because I thought since my game saved the night before, the wedding scene would be the first thing to play when I loaded up again…instead it just started the day like normal but with me already married and my spouse already moved in.
