I don’t have the brainpower to elaborate on this the way it deserves but the Toy Soldier is a brilliant parody of militarism and Dapper Steampunk Englishness that really doesn’t get enough credit

I BEG OF YOU. THE MECHANISMS
Worry not! The Mechanisms is most definitely going to be a part of our archived content!
In our opinion, The Mechanisms, alongside musicians like Steam Powered Giraffe and Professor Elemental, are some of the most influential steampunk musical artists in the recent years!
We will be making a more in depth post about them in the future, but for now, if you or anyone else out of the great lands of Tumblr have any images or pieces of information about The Mechanisms they'd like to submit for archival purposes, feel free to send an ask our way!
Until we speak again!

I may be a nerd but I wasn’t the one who baked cookies based on my current interests
That was all @existing-is-bothersome
(Even if was a attempt to prove they are superior to me in the kitchen)

Fuck it.
First photo is when I first tried it on. Second is Halloween morning after I finished drawing on the facial hair. In the gun holster was a plastic Easter harmonica I tormented everyone with. I'm going to probably cosplay him again (maybe at Vidcon Baltimore this year??? Who knows) since I missed the feral aspect.
The goggles for anyone interested. My popop (grandpa) gave them to me because they're real steampunk goggles, and I love steampunk. I believe he said they were his granddad's work glasses. I'm eventually going to get the lens replaced with my prescription lenses (my popop suggested it) so I can use them as normal glasses.
Anyways, bye.

Originally designed as a war machine to fight sea monsters and protect people from terrifying storms, Frank was repurposed into a housekeeper of sorts after Dr. Kala found him collecting dust in the attic. Now, Frank fights stains instead of the horrors of the deep!
It took a lot of effort and trials to learn how to perform finer, more delicate movements, and Frank definitely destroyed things around the house. But hey, he tried and did his best!
I'm planning to make the intro for Mayhem, the little creature you see cuddling with Frank here :D

Minecraft Steampunk Bird Mount
Tried my hand at a mechanical steampunk bird mount to incorporate my birdhouse starter base and growing medieval fantasy town. Never done anything like this, and not 100% on the blocks/weathering, but I kinda like it! I’d need a custom head for the beak (to match the copper), but the zombie head works for illustrative purposes.
What do you think?
Update: I made 2 more steampunk bird mount poses!
