Dorothy Dandridge watches while Stephen Boyd assists Harry Belafonte during a limbo competition held on the island of Grenada in 1956. Belafonte, Dandridge and Boyd were in the West Indies filming the 20th Century Fox/Robert Rossen drama Island in the Sun, which was released the following year. Three of the movie's other stars, James Mason, Joan Collins, and Joan Fontaine, also took part in the limbo contest, a festive event which was held in Grenada every year.
