Stephen Wiltshire is inspiring to me for multiple reasons! His art is magnificent, beautiful, and so detailed. The passion he hold for art is extremely strong, and I’m so happy to see a fellow autistic artist thriving in the world.

Using Disabled people to justify AI generators.
So I have seen this sooo many times on twitter, AI bros and pro AI people saying that "AI generators can help Disabled people be creative."
Tumblr media
Just too tell you all my older sister whom I take care of along with my mother. Is mentally disabled and loves too paint and doesn't care for AI generated images. I even told her about it, how it works, everything and her comment was "isn't that cheating". Literally what she said.
Tumblr media
(this is an old photo from the facebook account and the one with the Pink and black hoodie is my sister. Julia)
Also back in California she went to an art class for DISABLED people and even too this day, none of them use AI generated images because they enjoy the process of making art or being creative. If you want to know the school it's called Claraty Arts . I also added the link if you want to check them out and maybe buy some art from their talented artist who didn't allow their disabilities to get in the way of them being creative.
Also too add some well known artist who were Disabled:
Frida Kahlo
Vincent Van Gogh
Yayoi Kusama
Ángela de la Cruz
Ray Charles
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec
Django Reinhardt
Stevie Wonder (blind but wrote music)
Alice Sheppard
Rick Allen
Yinka Shonibare
Ryan Gander
Stephen Wiltshire
Uttam Kumar
Ian Dury
Hank Williams
Gaelynn Lea
Muniba Mazari
Itzhak Perlman
And the list continues...
So Disabled people don't need AI generators too help them, they can be creative themselves without using a program that does it for you.
If anything AI bros and pro AI people sound more ableist to say that they can't be creative without these programs.

Castle Combe; often named as the ‘Prettiest Village in England.'
Castle Combe, a medieval village and civil parish within Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty in Wiltshire, England.
The village has a rich history and the houses are made up of the honey coloured Cotswold stone, typical for a village of this area.
The village takes its name from a castle built on the hill to the north of the village in the 12th century AD, of which little now remains except earthworks.
No new homes have been built in the historic area since 1600s AD.
During the Middle Ages, the village, along with much of the Cotswolds, enjoyed prosperity due to the growth of a thriving wool industry.
Within Castle Combe, you’ll find a Market Cross and St Andrew’s Church, which dates from the 13th century AD.
The church houses a faceless clock, which is reputed to be one of oldest working clocks in the country.
Numerous weavers’ cottages were erected from local stone, and these ancient honey-hued buildings remain one of the village’s standout features today.
The village was known in particular for manufacturing a red and white cloth known as ‘Castlecombe,’ which was renowned in the markets of Bristol, Cirencester, as well as London and abroad.
In 1440 AD, King Henry VI granted Castle Combe the right to hold a weekly market, with unmistakable Market Cross monument still standing proudly today.
Castle Combe strictly banned all modern attachments such as TV dishes and external wires to the exterior of its houses, restrictions that have been instrumental in helping the historic village to maintain its authentic appearance.
As a result, the village has become a popular location for film crews, with productions including the 1967 filmed musical Doctor Dolittle, Stardust, and The Wolf Man were all shot within the village.
Castle Combe was a key filming location for Stephen Spielberg’s War Horse.
To recreate a 1914 setting, the village’s tarmac through-road was closed and covered with a temporary muddy surface.
Its modern street lamps, signage, and post boxes were either covered or removed altogether. Its white window frames were repainted with more muted colours.

Hi, K! I am also fascinated by fiction that revolves around obsession, but I don't know too many literary works on the subject... I was wondering if you could give me some recommendations, especially classics? If it's not too much trouble and you have nothing better to do! In fact, in general I ask myself what have been the works that have marked you the most, the ones that inspire you the most when writing.
Hi! I’ve been planning to complete the post with my book recs, but I can be so lazy and so slow when it comes to stuff like this( I promise something more comprehensive soon. Regarding classics... if you mean as a genre, I’m afraid I can’t recommend any! I found classic romance to be vastly uninspiring - well, the works I’ve read. It’s just not my cup of tea. Every time I read one of such books, I keep thinking, “I’ve seen this premise done in much better ways.” I can see the appeal but the events are usually too slow for me, the details too sparse, the feelings too vague.
If you mean universally acknowledged... that’s a tough one. I adore the romance in Lisey's Story by Stephen King. It’s obsessive, unhealthy, although maybe not in the expected ways, and eternal, despite its bittersweet notes.
The other I can think of is Twilight :D I’ve been reading mostly M/M stories for the last decade, and sadly, these books usually don’t get a universal popularity.
Here are the original works focused on obsession I immediately think of.
Immunity by @epic-solemnity. This wonderful, brilliant writer has gifted the Tomarry fandom with numerous great fics, including Dreams and Darkness Collide, Death of Today, and many others. Immunity is their original work, and oh my God, it’s a masterpiece. If you want endless obsession, unhealthy relationships, rich world-building, possessiveness/protectiveness, and impossibly long word count, you’ll probably love it as much as I do.
Guns n' Boys by K.A. Merikan. It’s a series of novels focused on mafia, with all the topics and tropes this theme usually features. Obsession, possessiveness, danger, hate-to-love, violence, I’m-so-jealous-I-will-hurt-you, etc. I love most books of these writers.
Straight Guys and Calluvia's Royalty series by Alessandra Hazard. She’s writing more light-hearted unhealthy romances. The former series features “gay for you” trope that some of you might dislike; the latter is sci-fi, a genre I’m usually not a fan of, but I’m in love with it here. Not all of her books work for me, but I love the majority.
More Heat Than the Sun by John Wiltshire. It starts out slow but then evolves into a beautifully twisted tale of obsession, passion and love. I found some books in this series boring, but overall, I’m in love with these stories and I adore these characters.
Fallocaust series + Companion Books by Quil Carter. Oh, the history I have with these works... this is a fascinating universe. Dark, horrible, with awful characters whose love is poison, but it features some of the best obsessive romances. For years, this has been the best series I’ve ever read. Unfortunately, I started having some problems with later books, but that depends on reading preferences. I marked a certain part as the ending point and I’m more than happy to stop there.
Dynasty of Ghosts by P.L. Nunn. A beautiful and captivating journey of a young sensitive archer who can see the ghosts and a prince who gradually becomes obsessed with him and is ready to throw everything away just for the chance to win his favor. Great world-building and interesting characters.

This is one of Stephen`s very unusual pencil drawings. There is a popular misconception that people with autism have no interests in drawing the human form. This particular work as well as Stephen`s self portrait have proved this theory wrong.
Drawing of Stephen having dinner with his girlfriend measuring 297 x 210 mm (A4), created and hand drawn by the artist.
