My name is Stevie or Kelly, I use any pronouns and prefer neutral language most of the time! I don’t really like labelling my gender or sexuality. I’m a mediocre artist and writer, a plant parent, vinyl collector, a saxophonist, a cat enjoyer and Just A Little Guy. I’m also autistic!

My interests have always seemed to revolve around music, as I am very much sensory seeking when it comes to audio. My favourite artists at the moment are Barenaked Ladies, The Tragically Hip, The Highwaymen (and their solo careers), Melanie (Safka), and Stompin’ Tom Connors. I also have a shrine to Willie Nelson and I’m a recovering Bob Dylan fan /j (I still like him)

As for other forms of media, I’m a big fan of The Muppets and Fraggle Rock, South Park (only Ned and Jimbo and the Marsh family at this point), Garfield, King of The Hill, Stagecoach 1986, BTTF trilogy, Stardew Valley and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid.

Hello!! I'd love to hear your headcanons about Connor and John's relationship. :3

Hiiii!!!! Thank you sooo much for the ask!!!! I'll always look for any excuse to talk about Connor ^-^ okay so, I think John and Connor have a weird and complex thing going on. It's definitely one sided BUT Connor does care about John, just not in the way John cares for him, ya know? Poor John just can't seem to understand that.

Anyways, here's a few headcanons /).(\:

•When they're on an assignment together with some downtime, they'll lazily play cards, with a cigarette dangling from their mouth. They end up talking more than they play.

•John and Connor have gone on a camping trip together. It was Connor’s idea because he loves being outdoors. John didn't mind it but would have preferred they just got a cabin by a lake or something, lol. They like being isolated from everyone and being alone together.

•It's not uncommon for them to share cigarettes. Whether that be that they're just sitting together and passing one back and forth or sharing a pack, they do that often. They're both heavy smokers, so one of them is usually grabbing or already having a cigarette in general.

•Connor is great at reading John's feelings just by looking at him. John wishes he could do the same, but Connor is not an easy guy to read.

Stevie and Twyla were best friends in high school. They both had unstable home lives and found comfort and solace in each other. After high school they drifted apart when life got in the way, but they always showed up for each other when it mattered.

Years later, Stevie reflects on their friendship and wonders if it’s possible that they could be something more.

There’s a room in the cottage that’s always ready for her, whenever she needs it.

It’s not a guest room. David and Patrick were very clear on that. The third bedroom is the guest room. But this, this is her room.

There’s Rose Apothecary products in the bathroom, even though she’d still use the drugstore brand if left to her own devices. There’s the old, battered quilt on the foot of the bed that David said didn’t go with the decor, but left it there for her anyway because he knew how much she loved it. There’s even a Sarah McLachan poster on the wall.

There’s a room in the cottage that’s always ready for her, and that’s why she’s definitely not crying on this airplane.

reflections on last night's show (may 17th)

saw the show for the 9th time last night and now i finally have a space to ramble

first off, it felt like Dom (Elder Price, if u are reading this and dk the London cast) got some new blocking notes after his lil break bc his Elder Price was so much more... open to interacting w Cunningham and generally a lil more uptight? like he just seemed almost new, his facial expressions were everything as usual, and in SMHD omg

SMHD deserves its own discussion - his Price looked deathly terrified fr, at the point when the little chorus lines start, he was curled up on the floor in a ball w his hands over his ears shaking like?? he has never done that before as Price and i adore him for it bc it rlly fits my headcanons <33

ALSO!! when Stevie did his little finger crook 'follow me' seductive McKinley thing, Price is obvs blocked to follow him to a point, but Dom ended up getting real close and running his hands very loosely up and down Stevie's sides :') idk if that's new blocking or accidental bc he stumbled a little too close but i gasped

we also had a show stop in the transition between Making Things Up and the Orlando scene, idk how the counterweights system works in the PoW theatre but it looked like it just failed - the tabs that fly in at the end to frame Cunningham's face only came about a third of the way in, Yoda had to walk around the front of the set piece and run off which was amusing, but then Dom ran on and got in his pose only for the followspot to not come on :')

i was v impressed by the flautist's lungs for holding the note as long as they did but the little pouty walk off stage Dom did when they realised was just so Kevin im feral !! and the huge cheers he got when he finally got to say "I'm here" was so cute, it was a v appropriate line for the show to restart on

ALSO, amandla elynah's second night ever as Naba!! first time i've seen a cover on for leanne and i adored her :) she defo had some line slips but it was literally her second show ever
