Do you worry if in his last moments of panic and pain, Stormcloud wished he was tiny enough to be carried around and doted on by Aegon iii one last time?

Daddy Daemon with his rainbow baby, the son he long awaited and his heir and legacy, baby Aegon, our future king! Daemon waited a long time but in the end it was worth it as he couldn't have asked for better sons than Aegon and Viserys 🤧

PD: I had to include stormy in the image 😂, and yes in my headcanon the three-headed dragon necklace belonged to Daemon and he gave it to Aegon. In the future I will also do some drawings with Viserys!

*spoilers for the Fire & Blood book, and possible spoilers for House of the Dragon*

Placed in the crib of Aegon III, the son of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Daemon Targaryen. The hatchling was of barely riding age during the Dance of the Dragons. Aegon was his one and only rider. 

Not specificed in colour, though it can be assumed that his colouring was the hue of a storm cloud — dark gray. 

  Stormcloud’s history was short, although the dragon made a profound impact on many lives. During the war, Jacaerys, Aegon’s eldest brother, sent him and his brother, Viserys, off to Pentos to be fostered by the Prince of Pentos for their safety. 

  The young Princes boarded the ship, Aegon with Stormcloud and Viserys with his own egg. However, it was attacked by warships sailing under the banners of the Three Daughters. Aegon escaped by flying away on Stormcloud, his first flight.

  Amazingly, Stormcloud flew back to Dragonstone, with the young Princeling clutching onto his back. He made the journey but was mortally wounded and died within the hour. The young dragon had taken multiple arrows to the belly and a scorpion bolt through his neck.

  After the death of his mount, Aegon never flew again.

Noémi is still not quite used to having vines instead of arms, so a lot of the fine motor control for cooking and baking is tough for her. luckily for her and their teammate Scarlet, Stormcloud is secretly somewhat of a pastry chef!

I’m actually really curious to see what kind of role Joffrey, Aegon ||| and Viserys || will have in season two!!

🚨Spoilers/leaks for future events of house of the dragon 🚨

Most of my post will be discussing these leaks:

So, I definitely don’t think either character will have that much of a prominent role (in this season in particular) but I feel as if they are probably building up there characters for later seasons (Joffrey and the storming of the dragon pit, Aegon watching Rhaenyra burn)

But I feel like it would be cool to see them progress as the seasons go on, and yk the horrible devastation of watching there last few scenes.

I also think it would be really cute to see there brotherly bond!!!! And there relationship with there sisters!!!

NOW!! Onto there dragons, Tyraxes and storm cloud. Neither dragon is described in the books but I think from the names we can kind of guess what there colours could possible be.

I think from the name ‘stromcloud’ we can presume he was grey or a blueish grey, similar to an actual stormcloud.

I really like the blueish grey, I feel like it makes stormcloud more unique. However knowing the show and there dislike for any kind of colour (I will avenge you Sunfyre’s pink wings) I can definitely see them just going the grey root. I’ll give them a pass for that since we don’t really see Stormcloud all to much.

Tyraxes:

Tyraxes doesn’t really do anything in the series except die (I WILL AVENGEGEGEGEGE YOUUUUU) but I do kind of hope they add more scenes of him. Not for any real particular reason, I just really like dragons.

To me, the name ‘Tyraxes’ sounds as if it comes from the ‘Caraxes’ who was a red dragon. So I can definitely see Tyraxes being a red dragon, it would be really cool to see!!! Honestly, as long as neither dragon is green I’ll be happy.

I think another colour for Tyraxes could be a pale yellow or a pale gold

I think this would be really cute as like a way of mixing Syrax and Seasmoke!!! It’s honestly just a really cute colour. And it’s basic enough for the show.

These two broke my heart

Many people really underestimate the duo of Aegon III and his dragon Stormcloud.

It seems to me that these two were very attached to each other. The dragon's egg hatched in Aegon's cradle and our boys were together for nine years. As I previously mentioned in one of my posts, most likely Aegon himself chose the name for his dragon. Stormcloud sounds very childish and cute. I imagine a very cute picture of the little prince choosing a name for his dragon because of the color of his scales, which resemble clouds.

Stormcloud traveled with Aegon and Viserys to Essos. But why? Aegon had never flown on his dragon before, and Stormcloud himself was very young. He could have stay behind on Dragonstone, where dragons thrive best. Most likely, Aegon did not want to be separated from his friend and insisted that the young dragon go on a journey with them.

And that's what breaks my heart the most. The tragic demise of Stormcloud. A very young dragon saved his rider by sacrificing his life.

"Prince Aegon managed to reach Dragonstone, clinging desperately to his dragon's neck. Stormcloud had been terribly wounded as he fled; when he arrived at Dragonstone stubs of countless arrows were embedded in his belly, and there was a scorpion bolt through his neck. Stormcloud died within the hour, hissing as the hot blood gushed black and smoking from his wounds."

What is not proof that these two really loved each other?

Unfortunately, due to the cruelty of Aegon the Usurper, all the good memories of dragons for Aegon were erased. The only thing that gives me relief is fanfiction that features little Aegon and his faithful dragon.
