My "conspiracy theory" for Henry I. and Empress Matilda is the same for Aemon and Rhaenys: both fathers intended to adopt their grandsons as heirs.

In response to your art about Hajime and Makoto being friends, I imagine they talked with each other extensively when Makoto was reopening Hope's Peak, so he could be sure that it wouldn't be nearly as predatory as it was to people like Hajime.

Aw that's really nice I like that. Getting Hajime's perspective as an outsider but also extra knowledgeable about the darker sides of HPA

I don’t think it means anything, just two weeks ago in Brazil Charles and Carlos had some separate media duties, it’s pretty normal for all teams (like with Lando a few days ago, he attended at least three sponsor events, and Oscar was only at one of them), so I don’t think it’s an indicator of anything, most likely he’s gonna be attending something else around the same time

this is likely in reference to the tweet about charles, robert, and fred going to that sponsorship event without carlos

that's fair, we could prob look back now and see if he was somewhere else (or if it even happened - i think the delayed fp might have conflicted?). it's just that charles has been doing a lot of solo sponsorship stuff lately, including with carlos' personal sponsor, so that's a bit interesting. arguably lando/oscar is a bit distinct since oscar is the clear rookie #2, whereas ferrari refuses to have a #1 and carlos should be more established with sponsors and "needed" at those events in a sense (i think robert going is the most interesting part tbh).

but yeah, probably reading too much into things, it's just going to be Very Interesting looking back on these details when we finally learn what the future holds

my brain is still stuck on the y.r trailer & I gotta say with the issue of Wilhelm taking the throne being such a big deal - if he does I think he & Simon are doomed. but also no matter how it all ends for them, this relationship is going to define Simon forever & that‘ll be a hard pill to swallow for him.

i feel like lately i've been doing a good job of digging my way out of climate/capitalism despair, like pivoting from "holy shit we're all doomed" (or well not so much believing that as worrying that it might be true) to "we are in an era of crisis and it is going to take some hard work to make things right". it's just so hard sometimes to hold onto that mindset when "holy shit we're all doomed" is SUCH a popular position among this generation and also the general public but especially this generation, it can make me feel like i'm alone and delusional 😪 and i'm so susceptible to other people's words and opinions which doesn't help...

Pleased by the in-universe acknowledgement of Mallory’s tendency to not be narrated. Leon did narrate her briefly after the Lottery attack when she wasn’t feeling good, but other than that she’s always been the one telling her own story (and the story of everyone else she witnesses). “Not everyone needs us” indeed. Mallory is the most self-actualized motherfucker in this train city.

The first sleeve I made for my costume! I'm going as a Druid who can shift into a dragon 🐲

First time making chainmail and actually building a costume myself!

And of course included in the photoset is the necklace that inspired my scalemail, it was a gift I got from my family

The lighting in my house makes everything look so blue but it's all pride themed! Can't wait to take some pics in the sun so the purple can really shine through!!

#Btw I made this for a ren Faire costume #I'm going to make a matching sleeve for my other arm too!#The links are done I just need to get some leather to lace it up with and also strengthen some of the rings #Might add a few links to what I'll call the 'flight' scales on the sides because they lay kinda funny #But I'm super happy with it!!!!#Definitely worth the like 2 hours of just planning the pattern and figuring out how to hold the pliers #I altered a hat one time for a pirate cosplay but that was just some glue and patience #This is a whole other ordeal lol #Not the most polished project but I'm positive the second one will be much better #Then when I get the rest of my materials. hopefully soon. I can begin on my skirt #Sadly I couldn't find the Grey scales that're in the necklace anywhere #Apparently they were painted pewter and have been discontinued :/#But still! I'm also planning on building a skirt that'll have all 4 colors in it so hopefully that makes up for the lack of Grey in these #And my other scalemail type stuff #I got some custom earrings and a cloak clasp that I'll add to my outfit as well #It's gonna be so cool all together!!!#I just hope everything arrives on time 😭#I still have to get my dress to my sister or be altered and learn the pattern for the skirt oof #Shouldn't be too hard once I get my stuff but I couldn't even begin cause I was missing the most important ring size #Of course it'd be to where I couldn't preassemble all that much ahead of time when my whole plan hinged on that #It's a unit based pattern so it seemed perfect for me in case I ran out of time assembling enough I could string them together #But I can't even start the first piece!!!#Also the larger rings probably would've been better to start learning on #These tiny ones were a pain in the ass lol

I might just get a little mean when Firestar is picking deputies in my hyporewrite.... first he picks Whitestorm, who dies in the BloodClan battle. Then he picks Longtail, who gets blinded and steps down for his own comfort. Then he picks Graystripe who is his bestie and he's like "Okay, he's proved himself, he's grown as a person and can handle this and I want my best friend by my side" aaaaand then he gets taken away by the twolegs during the forest destruction. (alternatively this happens with Sandstorm, but idk. Kinda wanna keep Millie in there.) He refuses to pick a deputy, but once they're at the lake, he feels like he must for the sake of stability, so he appoints Brackenfur. Who dies a few moons later to the badger attack alongside his sister Cinderpelt, protecting his laboring mate Sorreltail in the nursery. And after that, StarClan comes down, shoves Brambleclaw in his face, and is like "you HAVE to choose this guy, it is only right to honor tradition". And since Brambleclaw did lead them to the lake, he figures it is appropriate even if he's ineligible... and then Brambleclaw participates in his assassination attempt with Hawkfrost.

#tbh. no idea how the hawkfrost scene will go bc i wanna revamp hawkfrost entirely and give moth and tawny more to do here #idk how though #i want him to live of course and I want Bramble to still be deputy in the end and be in a position of power #and canon fire just going ''lol i know you were just saying psych'' feels dumb #also i want mothwing to kill hawkfrost in some way. maybe she sabotages the fight by poisoning hawk beforehand #saying that she was giving him herbs to ''strengthen him'' or something...#also like the idea of her being involved in the dark forest training somehow. idk tho bc i cant see her being a fighter in there #maybe shes manipulated into being tiger's unwilling prophet and this is what disillusions her to starclan #and what makes her refuse to reach out to them in the moonpool. they let it happen. do they not care for her because shes a rogue?#the sign also disillusions her bc thats iconic thats the main thing but i dont see her straight up not believing ghosts are real #so i may retool that to ''i dont believe in starclan in that they cant control shit and i do not care for them so i wont engage.''#rewrite au
