Picture dump time! These are fan-sketches I made of Dystopian Wars, my latest miniatures wargaming obsession. Turns out, I like boats and I cannot lie. Dystopian Wars (DW) is a steampunk/dieselpunk/atompunk alternate history wargame taking place in the year 187X, where great powers have great technology and lack great responsibility. The pictures are not in chronological order; I started with the Korean crafts, did the Polynesian ships and then the Union Atomic ship, then the Greek page, then the Persian Airships. Koreans and Greeks are going to be in the game, so they're baseless speculation on my part. Polynesians were a fan-thing for the Enlightened faction, and I wanted to include a bit of Solarpunk in the designs. Verdict is still out on that. Persian Airships are ludicrous fantasy on my part, based out of the idea of using an archetypical oil lamp as the hull for an airship. In addition, DW has a strong modularity component to it. Each plastic kit can build one thing out of several options, leading to great flexibility in the kits. The Prussians are the best example; if you don't glue down the bridge and primary weapons, you can just have any ship you could build with that kit. I tried duplicating that effect in sketch form, but with the Persians I got fed up and assembled full images of each variation.
Hello NQD people! I am absolutely unhinged about NQD and have made an unholy google doc where I have made a timeline, keep track of characters and headcanons, and scream about theories! I've shared this with the Hanging Sloth discord but wanted to open it up to wider fandom! Just DM me and I'll pass along the link! Anyone can feel free to join and add in your own ideas and theories! Just keep in mind, I get episodes on patreon release days and so I will put theories in there right away!!!!!!!! Thanks! I want to help this fandom grow so come be unhinged with me!!!!
3 : screenshot or description of the worst take you've seen on tumblr
i genuinely can not think of one i'm sorry. i don't have anything like that that's memorable enough for me to be able to point it out 😭 and i don't wanna say something overly serious. if i ever think of something i will come back to this
8 : common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about
MOB DID NOT "REALIZE REIGEN WASN'T PSYCHIC" AFTER THE SEPARATION ARC i promise i promise it's like. god i do completely understand why people think this. because it would make sense reasonably. but IN MY HEAD it's so important that he still kind of isn't sure. the way i've always seen it is it's like. such an important lie because it's one that like is so significant with regard to how mob sees himself??
like mob initially went to spirits & such because he thought reigen was psychic. and reigen did lie that he was. but mob believed him. and like because mob thinks that he's psychic while also being a good person that he looks up to, he saw in reigen the potential that he can be a good person. that psychic powers don’t matter for that. that he can grow up and not be scared of himself. and since so much of the show is about him growing into and then finally accepting himself as he is it wouldn't make sense for me for that realization to come BEFORE the actual culmination of that. yknow??
there's a reason reigen actually got away with not admitting anything. he asked and mob didn't say it for him and he didn't say it himself so he gets to keep living that lie and mob gets to keep believing it as a crutch. HE DIDN'T ACTUALLY ADMIT TO ANYTHING AFTER THE SEPARATION ARC. it's so important.
i just see people say all the time that mob always knew or realized after the separation arc that reigen was always lying to him and it bothers me a little because he absolutely did not. LET ALONE some people think he's always known??? NO HE DIDN'T. here's some pictures
i just think like. that he keeps making excuses and telling people reigen's psychic is significant to me. and the fact reigen admitted it when he did is also significant to me. it's the only time i'll accept mob really believing and knowing that he was lying. it's the culmination of the show for a reason... it shows both reigen and mob's growth in reigen accepting that he can't lie about this anymore without detriment and mob being able to accept himself without relying on it in order to believe he can be a person he's happy with
These two are actually the very first artworks I made after designing the MnP characters. One is a screenshot redraw which I LOST and the other was meant to showcase Jiayi's less heroic yet stubborn stance on her side job.
I've truly gone full parent; I saw there was a new Lambden lore drop from Little Stories for Tiny People and audibly squeaked. Out loud. Alone. At midnight.

So, let's discuss that scene in Raphael's Boudoir.
Before anything else, I want to thank the studio for giving us that treat after us devil simps kept asking for him, and apologize for the unholy fanwork it might inspire.
Right, now that it's out of my system...
At first, I found it hilarious that Raphael only ever sleeps with a copy of himself. On brand, for a narcissistic devil. But after some thought, I just realized how that might've been a half-truth, and how utterly self-indulgent, controlling and depraved Raphael actually is.
Haarlep himself told you that the person he copies his appearance from will know that they're having sex in that form. By sleeping with himself, he's experiencing twice the pleasure he gets. It's basically masturbation with a few extra steps. That would also mean Raphael felt everything and is perfectly aware that his incubus fucked you if you do it.
If you steal the hammer or rip up your contract, Raphael will confront you. You can try to get Korrilla on your side, she will say that the only reason why we're here is because Raphael allowed the player to be there. So, he is actually allowing you to use his "toy".
This is where it gets more screwed up: Haarlep is Raphael's personal incubus. It doesn't help that failing to resist them leads them to saying that the player's body will be "left alive as a loving doll to obey the wishes of me and my master"
In conclusion: Raphael orchestrated everything. He didn't sleep with the player himself and let Haarlep do it so that he will have access to your form at any given moment and do whatever depraved thing he wants with it. I guess that explains why he was eyeing the player from head to toe when he claims to just be protecting his assets when you meet him outside of the Thorm Mausoleum in Act 2, too. It lends a whole new sinister meaning to him saying that he's grown fond of you in his own way.
The rational part of my brain says this is so fucked up, but the other half is in morbid awe. The writers managed to make what seems to be a minor fanservice moment into a further glimpse into a character's psyche. By that point in the story, it's glaringly obvious that Raphael is a control freak- and dominating you by making you feel it whenever Haarlep uses your body is another way for him to exert control.
Such a bastard. I love to hate him and hate to love him.
