Concept: Druk keeps stealing Izumi's favourite turtle-duck stuffie because it's soft and smells like family, and it makes baby Izumi FURIOUS. Zuko refuses to get between a toddler and dragon's argument, so he buys Druk his own turtle-duck stuffie.

Zuko explains to her that Druk was stealing her toy because he was jealous and sad he didn't have his own stuffie, not because he was being mean. Izumi's toddler brain equates lack of stuffies with sadness, and now she's terrified that her dad will be lonely because he doesn't have a stuffie :((( Zuko is one of the most powerful people on the planet, but he knows he has no hope of winning an argument with a toddler.

And that's how the Fire Lord and his dragon ends up with matching turtle duck stuffies

i think every single person in saikis group still sleeps with at least one stuffed animal, or in a few cases wants to but is too insecure to and just has lots of pillows/blankets instead (idc that weve literally seen some of their bedrooms and they arent like this idc idc its the vibe)

yume definitely has the MOST stuffed animals on her bed, i think she barely has space for herself😭definitely makes little outfits for them too, probably has at least one teddy bear that she changes into pajamas every night with her

aiura only has a few but theyre really big ones, like a body pillow sized tiger stuffy and a unicorn or something like that

teru has a pretty regular teddy bear with various accessories she probably sews herself.. like cute little bows and scarves.. she also has a few stuffed animal keychains, and a couple of cutesy stuffies she got from yumehara

mera used to have a lot of those food themed stuffed animals on her bed, like sushi cats or burger cats if you know what im talking about, but she would get extra delirious in the mornings when she was hungry and try to take bites out of them☠️they are now stored on her desk or in her closet and her bed has just a few bunnies and cats yume gave her

hairo strikes me as the type of guy to keep his childhood stuffed animals and blankeys for the rest of his life because they mean something to him.. so he probably has a standard teddy bear, along with some superhero blankets and some build-a-bear stuffies with fun outfits (i bet you he thought superman and other superheroes were real guys when he was a kid, and looked up to them and wanted to be just like them)

nendo also has his old baby blanket and childhood teddy bear but they are absolutely in TATTERS

akechi has like an ocean themed entire bed i think☠️his sheets and blankets are shades of blue and he has a bunch of sea creature stuffed animals

toritsuka has body pillows but that goes without saying.. i think he also has a batman stuffed animal (or like, a build-a-bear with a batman costume.. because thats what i have lol) which he refuses to admit

saiko and kuboyasu never really got stuffed animals from their parents as kids and never thought to ask for them (neither of them know how they wouldve responded and it freaks them out) but they would always get secretly jealous of other kids who had stuffed animals and cute toys and keychains.. they probably both have some that either they made (yasu crocheting hc🫶) or were given to them recently by the group but they hide them out of embarrassment

saiki prob also has a few from the group and keeps them mostly hidden

Silly dog things:

Sometimes (frequently) Fae will start furiously humping one of the big dog toys. Usually one of the ones that's bigger than she is. She'll continue to do this obsessively for a week or so and then stop for a while.

Sushi is not a dog that plays with dog toys unless it is to entice someone to play with her, usually another dog. This also has the side effect of her seeing other dogs playing with dog toys and having the bright idea that another dog playing with a toy by themselves of course must want to play with the toy with her.

So Sushi spots Fae "playing" with the toys she's humping and starts bouncing and playbowing at her to entice her to play. Fae does not want to share her latest hump victim so she is usually standing over said toy growling at Sushi. At some point Fae will get fed up with this and grab the toy to move it somewhere that Sushi cannot reach, which is her typical go-to when her "fuck off" resource guarding asshole behaviors are being ignored by the other dogs as my dogs learn from a young age that if you want to keep it you have to move to an area where only you are allowed to be.

This makes Sushi go "oh! it is time for tug! I love to play tug with my friends!" so she also will grab the toy if she can reach it before Fae completes her movement to an area that Sushi cannot squish herself into.

Now. The unfortunate part is that Fae, despite what she thinks, is significantly smaller than Sushi.

So the act of Sushi grabbing the toy Fae is holding on to in order to play tug usually results in Fae flying.

This situation happens... not infrequently. And I don't know that either of them really learns anything every time it happens, outside of that Sushi can and will eventually yeet a chihuahua through the air completely by accident.

#can you guess what just happened in front of me to make me write this post #I'll give you a hint: this week's victim is a christmas kitty stuffy that's twice Fae's size #Fenris pulled it out of the depths of who knows where and the dogs have been obsessed with the thing ever since

saw barbie n honestly it was just like. ok. like a 6/10. there were some funny jokes and stuff but it feels like they were trying to send so many different messages at once that they never fully delivered any of them despite trying to spoon feed them to the audience and also the plot and pacing were just like. all over the place. which is to be expected bc yknow its a brand movie but still </3

#it was still a fun movie dont get me wrong but i dont have a desire to immediately watch it again like i did with other movies #the bit about ken being obsessed with horses was pretty funny though #but the dialogue was so. so so full of itself and i think it was supposed to be a joke like look the doll can use big words! but it just- #-made it so so stuffy. and it was very tell dont show rather than show dont tell which was annoying and one of my biggest pet peeves #and to expand on the pacing. the scene about the ken war dragged on for sooo long to the point where i was like. this is the barbie movie- #right? where is barbie? and i kinda get that was a point like about ken being backseated but it was just not done well in that regard #plus it had that anti-indigenous joke which was just. unnecessary and gross. #but yknow. it is what it is at the end of the day its a brand movie yeah its not going to be anything groundbreaking but i do think people- #-are giving it more credit than its worth lol #starspeaks

This is absolutely adorable!!! Gaz is the only one who notices there is something off about his hat sometimes, and he confesses that you just keep stealing the bloody thing (and maybe he knows which one belongs to you, but it smells like you, so).
