WELL UH
I guess it’s time to reveal this character (because my traditional Lunar New Year post is coming and I have no other Year of the Dragon OCs that I know of lol)
At this point I will have very little secrets left to make a webcomic with 🙃
But anyway uh, this is Lisa! She is someone who (were I to make said webcomic) would show up later in Sullivan’s story. I’ve drawn her before, but haven’t really talked about her yet. Eventually, she will be Sullivan’s girlfriend, arriving on the scene after he’s gone through some changes and improved himself a bit lol. They’ll meet when she shows up as the new librarian at the library Sullivan frequents. But they actually knew each other in school beforehand. Sullivan was around 10 when his family moved to the US from Macclesfield in Cheshire, England. He was a bit of an outcast in the 5th grade, being a socially-awkward, overweight immigrant. He had a crush on Lisa, and she had a crush on him, and neither of them ever made a move. They graduated, they went their seperate ways. And if this post gets over 300 likes (on Instagram), I’ll share the script of their “first” meeting in the library in my story. 😉 (or you can read it now on my Patreon at the $1 tier.)
As for Lisa! She’s fearless, she’s forward, she has no shame. She squeaks when she laughs. She is very bright and has a lot of bouncy energy, very much in contrast with Sullivan’s dour exterior. However, she’s not quite the same bundle of energy as Horatio is, and is just as content to spend an afternoon quietly reading with her bf as she would be to drag him out on a reckless adventure. Of course, as evidenced by her career choice, she loves books and reading, and has a particular affinity (or obsession) for the up-and-coming, enigmatic novelist Samuel White…
