Playing with watercolours some more. I went over some parts with pencil crayons to see how it looks. I like it! (It’s the blush and the darker browns). Though to keep it blended in with the watercolour, it has to be the flat side. No sharpening! This is Tam :) I played around with some costume designs and chose one to colour Tam in.

Sunhat

   I finished up the blanket stitch on the sunhat! Now my face and neck can be shaded and my hair can be away from my neck (and also helping to hold the hat in place). I used cobalt blue and aqua embroidery thread, and ‘wove’ the aqua under and around the cobalt. I sure hope I don’t lose it.

that being said, i still personally find it gross not to exfoliate. i'm not judging people for it, but i 100% believe everyone should exfoliate, except those with skin conditions that specifically prohibit it. like please at least use a washcloth, you don't even have to use an actual scrub, but please do not just use your hands 😭

#personal #also protecting your skin from sun damage is necessary for all humans point blank period #and this is one thing i actually don't do! i recognize how important it is and that i Should be doing it #but i hate the feeling of sunscreen and since i don't really get sun burn i don't have an immediate incentive to use it #i do try to protect my face by wearing a hat and sunglasses #bc i would actually put sunscreen on my face but my skin is too sensitive and it causes me to have breakouts #and the pain from acne is just not worth enduring #(vs me wearing an n95 at work which also causes me painful acne but it's a necessary evil bc it protects not just me but my patients also)
