#Superstore S6, Ep. 1 "Essential" Season Premiere
The season premiere of Superstore brought us much need laughs but also left us with a cliffhanging moment. Here's a recap!
The season premiere picks up where we left off with a short recap of Amy informing the staff that she and Jonah will be leaving for California for her new position. But here comes the COVID-19 and all things don't go anyone's way, even Marcus, who decided to go to a spring break party and caught the COVID.
The episode shows off serious moments like when the staff learned about George Floyd's murder. While Amy tries to handle both managing the store and being on zoom calls with corporate that's pretty much taking a lot out of her.
But after a crazy day, Sandra and Cheyenne's idea to store extra stuff for them in the ceiling didn't go so well as it became too heavy and collapse. Later on, Jonah learns that Amy will be going to California but he corrected her saying that they are going to California. That moment ends with Jonah hugging Amy, she gives a worried look.
"Essential" was a very good and funny episode. The episode should some really good moments in the chronicle order during the months that we missed out on. I couldn't get enough of Gleen and Dina but mostly Sandra and Cheyenne stole most of the episode with their crazy idea of storing items from the customers. And that Tom Hanks scene was another treat in this episode, the second time goes so well (with This Is Us).
The 100th episode will be a special one no doubt about it. I think it will be a tearjerker, to say the least, but an episode that probably would throw some flashback moments, wouldn't you say? The tear-jerking moment will be Amy saying goodbye and leaving Jonah and the Cloud 9 family.
Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.
What did you think of the season premiere? how do you see the 100th episode will go? Leave a comment below and tell us your thoughts!
You can catch the 100th and Amy's final episode of Superstore Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC.

#BrooklynNineNine Renewed for Season 8 #B99
Looks like there will be more cases to solve at the Nine-Nine.
On Thursday, NBC has announced that Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been renewed for an eighth season. The seventh season premieres in an hour premiere on Thursday, Feb. 6th at 9/8c, before moving to its new time-slot on Feb. 13 at 8:30/7:30c.
Renewing the show ahead of its seventh season is a very good sign that this upcoming season will be very good. Also it could also mean that they need a veteran show for next year with the newer shows not performing well. Whatever the reason, we get more Nine-Nine.
Excited for the news? Leave a comment and tell us your thoughts.

#TheGoodPlace S4, Ep. 5 "Chapter 44: Employee of the Bearimy" Episode Recap and Review
While Michael and Jason rescue Janet, can Eleanor and Tahani handle the Good Place by themselves? Here's a recap! As Michael and Jason rescue Janet from the Bad Place; Janet learns the plan as Vicky tries to do her Michael impression in the Michael suit. There Michael and Jason while making it to the Bad Place bonded and soon interrupted Shawn's evil con type of meeting. Michael comes out pretending to be Vicky and brings in Jason pretending to be Glen. Soon, Shawn brings Janet out and the two to torchers Janet till she realizes that they were the real Michael and Jason. Vicky soon comes out and proves to them that she's really her, but Michael uses the demon blower and not only blew up Vicky and the three ran off while the rest of the people cheered with delight. Meanwhile, Eleanor and Tahani handle things at the good place given everyone an earth day celebration, with their group taking on a nice lake house vacation. But when using Derek things don't go so well. While all wasn't lost, even trying to get Chidi to the lake house by given him mystery clues to play, it worked out in the end. Eleanor and Tahani bonded, as Tahani felt she isn't given a whole lot to do besides given parties and all. In the end, as Michael, Janet, and Jason escape from the Bad Place and headed back to The Good Place; Michael admits to Janet that it was hard being back after all that he's been through. Just as Jason tells Janet about the horrible things Bad Janet told him, mainly about Blake Bortles getting cut; but Janet tells him that was real but the Jags got Nick Foles, who Jason is excited until she tells him he's injured. "Employee of the Bearimy" was another very good episode. I loved how they mixed the characters up with Michael and Jason and Eleanor and Tahani; that they really haven't seen a whole lot of bonding together. Plus I do agree that Tahani had a lot more to do in this episode than the previous, but that scene with Eleanor at the end made it so memorable. But I couldn't get enough of Jason and Michael as the two really connected on a level, unlike any time. The writing was very good along with the character development and the performances from the cast. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10. You can catch The Good Place Thursdays at 9/8c on NBC.

#TheGoodPlace S4, Ep. 1 "Chapter 40: A Girl from Arizona, Part 1" Season Premiere
The season premiere of The Good Place was everything to the smell of donkey-butts to mouth-full of fleas. Here's a recap!!! We pick up moments from the end of the season finale where Eleanor shows Chidi around The Good Place. There he's jumping with excitement, but Eleanor is a bit disappointed by losing her true love in this experiment. As Eleanor returns to Michael's office, everyone gives her a vote of confidence that this will work out for the best, even both Michael and Shawn gives them a pep talk, which was one of the highlights of the episode. As Eleanor and Michael greet the next new residents, Linda, who happens to be a bore of the group that doesn't see any excitement of being in The Good Place. Not to mention, Brent, who thinks that everything is too PC in the world. The gang tries to connect with one another to find out what makes them tick; but it's not even coming close, not even Simone, who believes that not of this is real and acts like a total goofball. Michael tries to convince Eleanor that it's time to use Chidi to help, mainly with Simone. As soon as Eleanor introduce Simone to Chidi, it didn't even work at all. So the next day, Eleanor and Michael get the flying seminar; but Linda wasn't too thrilled, not even flying a couple of inches off the ground. Eleanor and Michael try to bond with her favorite things but she's not bunging at all until she starts punching both of them in the nose and flies around ruining other's flying time. In fact, Linda is not who we all thought she is as she's just a fraud in Shawn's scam to ruin the experiment. The judge learns and punishes him, by putting Chidi in the experiment. But she also threatens Shawn if there's a smell of his doing again that she'll take out his eyelids and make him watch soldiers coming home greeting their dogs. As the train comes, Bad Janet comes to pick up the fake Linda. Michael tries to tell her to tell Shawn "booyah!" Meanwhile, Jason gets jealous with Derek coming back and forth; seeing that he's trying to win her back with his dum affection. Trying to make truths to one another, Jason couldn't take it and murders Derek with his killswitch button; which didn't quite win over Janet as she's been dealing with a billion things to do. "A Girl from Arizona, Pt. 1" was such a good episode; there were some surprises that weren't huge but satisfying shocking. And it was hilarious to watch the Judge go after Shawn for his antics once again. But I just loved how the characters between Eleanor and Michael were in this dynamic. You could see Eleanor trying to do two things at once as she's trying to make this experiment work but also keeping Chidi far far away from Simone as well. Also Jason and Derek fighting over Janet was just a nice balance making the episode funny and crazy. Strong writing and character development. I just wish that this was an hour premiere instead of a half-hour. Overall, I give this episode a 9.5/10. You can catch The Good Place Thursdays at 9/8c on NBC.

#TheGoodPlace S4, Ep. 6-7 "Chapter 45: A Chip Driver Mystery"/"Chapter 46: Help Is Other People" Recap and Review
"Chapter 45: A Chip Driver Mystery"
The Good Place isn't just about being good over bad; but how you should never give up on something when trying to make things work. In this episode, Michael tells Bad Janet, who's in Janet's void, a story about what had happened in the last six months with their group and how much things seemed so doomed that really turned into a positive outcome.
It was basically how the group tries to get Brent to be apologetic after a book that he wrote was totally offensive to the group. But after what seemed to be a failed attempted, Eleanor and the group started coming up with another plan. That's when Michael tells Bad Janet that that's what they're doing coming up another plan after the other had failed because they don't give up. Soon instead of turning bad Janet into a marble, he lets her go and gives her a book to take back.
"A Chip Driver Mystery" was a good episode from start to finish. It was a good character development with some of the supportive characters from Brent and even John. There are still on the edge moments in this show when it comes to when John learns that Jason isn't a monk and Brent trying to apologies. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.
"Chapter 46: Help Is Other People"
With only hours till the experiment is over, will Eleanor and gang make it? Here's a recap!
As the clock is clocking down to the end of the experiment; Eleanor and gang feel pretty good about how this all will end; that is until Simone has been putting the pieces together of what she really thinks is going on. When Tahani and Jason learn of this, she tries to blow the idea away until John blew Jason's cover of not being a monk.
With only a few hours till the celebration; Eleanor and the team figure out a way to stall until the clock strikes midnight. They use Michael and his sad magic trick show and when bringing up Brent for a trick an earthquake comes and shallow him only hanging on. Eleanor and Michael get Chidi, Simone and John to stay to help Brent while they wait to see what happens next. Turns out only Chidi stayed with Brent while Simone and John left.
With minutes to spare Eleanor and Michael pull off one more trick: admitting they are in the bad place. While leaving Chidi and Brent to think; they were hoping that Brent could pull off a hell mary that ended up not happening at the buzzer.
"Help Is Other People" is a hilarious episode that really kind of gave us the perspective of what Michael was going through in the first and second season of the series. The pace and the development of the characters were brilliant as we just hope that Brent would pull off that one miracle moment of saying, "I'm sorry." Now with the experiment over what will happen now? Hell, what happened to Simone and John? Could Michael and Eleanor pull off a reset? Oh man, I can't wait to see where this will be going. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

#TheGoodPlace S4, Ep. 2 "Chapter 41: A Girl from Arizona, Part 2" Episode Recap and Review
Can Eleanor and the gang continue with their plan or will there have to be a change in leadership? Here's a recap! In Part Two, after Judge grants that Chidi is the fourth subject in the experiment, Eleanor comes up with a way of getting to know their subjects: a talk show. But for Brent, it just wasn't going so well and that they learn what he's been using Janet for; from golfing, rides and even trying to get Janet to wear stuff for him. Eleanor and Michael go to plan b with using the same effects that make The Good Place go haywire. But that, of course, diadn't go the way they had hope as Brent confesses to them that he doesn't belong in The Good Place, but The Best Place. Later the team confronts Michael that they think that they need new leadership as Eleanor shows up and walks out. Michael talks to Eleanor and gives her the encouragement to try it again; which she did. They played to Brent's strength: getting him to believe that in order to get to The Best Place he has to do good things to add points. After that worked, the next step is to get Chidi and Simone together, even telling him that they are soulmates. Chidi confronts Simone at the yogurt shops and gets her confidence to accept him. Later on, Eleanor and the gang reminisce of what Chidi has done for them, let alone what Eleanor too has done as well. Also, Jason tries to do something nice for Janet by taking a lesson from Michael to given her some space. Soon Janet confronts Jason and tells him that they need to take a break and also tells him the news that the Jacksonville Jaguars cut Blake Bortles from their team, which left him depressed. "Part two of A Girl from Arizona" was really good that had some heartfelt moments, mainly between Michael and Eleanor. With Eleanor thinks that it's gonna be a breeze; but it turns out it gets a bit harder but realizes that if something fails, try, try again. And even though Michael is a demon, he still shows remorse and gives Eleanor the pep talk that she needed to get the next plan going. Janet and Jason's storyline was good, funny and even heartbroken; mainly when she tells him that Bortles was cut from his favorite NFL team. You knew that was going to hurt him the most over their break up break. The story was very good with good character development. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10. You can catch The Good Place Thursdays at 9/8c on NBC.

#BrooklynNineNine S6, Ep. 18 "Cinco De Mayo" Recap and Review #Brooklyn99 #B99Heist #B99
The Heist is BACK! Who's worthy of the belt?! Find out and see! "Cinco De Mayo" gave us an episode that we hoped we would get after NBC picked up the show from FOX. The Heist is back and even though it wasn't on Halloween; it made it even better. The episode really steps it up from the previous Heist episode; even though Jake's proposal to Amy was my all time favorite, this one comes close to second. Just when you think that either Jake could win it; because he's Jake Peralta, one of the best detectives out there. But when it stopped on an injured Terry, after all, he's gone through a lot in this episode just trying to take his mind off of the lieutenant's exam. But the shocker comes when the winner is actually Terry and the scheme that got him to win was all planned out all the way to Halloween of last year as that gas explosion was part of his plan.
As much as I have said about every episode of this season; because this has really been Brooklyn Nine-Nine's best season by far, but this was literally the best episode of the season. The writing was as strong as ever; even the character development with adding Scully's twin brother was a shock to the television viewing system. Adding Kevin to the mix made it even better and not to mention Jake and Amy tasing each other with their gifts that they got each other was just hilarious. Overall, I give this episode a 10/10. You can catch Brooklyn Nine-Nine one-hour season finale next Thursday at 9/8c on NBC.

#Superstore S4, Ep. 14 "Minor Crimes" Recap and Review
With Glenn's last day as manager, does Amy have a chance to get the position; even when she has leverage? Here's a recap! After making multiple farewell announcement, Glenn gives his last staff meeting before stepping down and hopes that Amy would take his job. But that's not his choice to make as it's Laurie. As she makes her appearance, Amy confronts her about the position but she won't give Amy a shot for an interviewer. With help from Dina, Amy got an interview but it wasn't going anywhere. Laurie announced that she's given Glenn's position to her son. As Amy tries to go back and talk to Laurie, she interrupts her snorting cocaine. Laurie tries to keep Amy quite of the situation by offering her Glenn's job, but she turned it down because she only wants it if she's qualified. That turned up nothing. So after everyone knows about the situation, they get Amy to go back and using that leverage. She finally got it.
Meanwhile, while Glenn cleans his office with Mateo and Jonah, they found a bag of money that Glenn has kept for budget reasons. Jonah tells him that keeping this is a crime and they try to find a way to use it; damaging the store. After destroying the bathroom, fitting room and storage room, it still wasn't enough. That is until Glenn drives his car in the store. "Minor Crimes" was another excellent episode. The Glenn storyline in this episode was just amazingly hilarious; from his goodbye speech to the customers, learn that keeping money from the bosses is a crime and had to use that money by causing damage to the store. As much as I loved and enjoyed Amy's story; I did think that it was a bit downplay-ish when it comes to Amy not using the leverage to get Glenn's job. But the scenes with Amy and Dina were as priceless as it could have ever been in this episode.  Good writing and very good performances from the cast. Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.

#Superstore S4, Ep. 15 "Salary" Recap and Review
"Salary" was another stellar episode that had some moments of predictability but really carried it with moments that weren't. As Amy starts her first day as a manager, she learns the perks of the job, mainly her salary. But when she accidentally allows her contract to be read out loud; it becomes an issue with the staff. One moment comes when Marcus tells that his salary is almost that same amount and Glenn realized that mistake. Meanwhile, Mateo tries to win over Amy to become her replacement as a floor manager with moments of acting like a floor manager. Glenn doesn't seem to be unhappy for the downgrading his job as he shows his happiness with Garrett, who's telling him that working here is never happy. I still enjoyed the episode from the beginning to the end. While it still had moments that were seen coming a mile away; like when Mertie accidentally takes Amy's contract instead of announcements. But there were moments that shine like the employees discussing salaries, Glenn's moments throughout the episode and Dina upset with Jonah for not taking her side and she tries to get him to cheat on Amy with guest star Alison Haislip, which was amazing. The writing was good and the performances from the cast were amazing. The character development for Amy and Glenn was just amazing. Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.

#TheGoodPlace S3, Ep. 11 "The Book Of Dougs" Recap and Review
Can Michael convince the council of The Good Place that their system is broken? Here's a recap!
Eleanor, Michael, and the gang are in The Good Place; as they can't use foul language and can only smell what they would consider being pleasant things like a cloud of raging teen hormones at a pool, Blake Bortles winning the Super Bowl; or even a warm pretzel.
There they meet Gwendolyn who plays along with Michael's story about how they got to this spot of The Good Place. During their time, she tells them that The Good Place is right out the door but they couldn't open it. Michael asked if he could talk with the council but she tells him meeting with them would be breaking the rules; which he did and tries to explain that The Bad Place has tampered with the system. But it didn't go the way he had hoped. After hearing about a waiting period just to investigate it; Michael had one more way to get this fix to see the judge.
Meanwhile, Chidi helps to calm Eleanor down as she's freaked out for being that close to the good place. Being only four Oreos away from heaven, Chidi becomes a complete opposite of what he has been and calms her down with date dinner to even dressing up as a mailman. But after dressing up like a mailman, Eleanor takes Chidi and had sex in a closet.
Tahani tries to help with Jason and Janet but causes more problems in a way. But it would end up blowing their whole cover story after Tahani makes Janet cry.
Michael confesses to Gwendolyn; a portal opens with the doorman telling him that the judge wants to see them at IHOP; which stands for Interdenominational Hole of Pancakes. Michael, Eleanor and the gang move into the portal to meet the judge.
"The Book of Dougs" was as good as it could have ever been. The episode really depicts the American Government well; in the moments from The Good Place council taking so long to investigate Michael's claims to Jason asking what place would turn down refugees. Nicole Byer, who played Gwendolyn, really stole the episode with her performance. Not to mention William Jackson Harper and Ted Danson were amazing as well. Strong character development and strong writing for this episode. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch The Good Place Thursdays at 9:30/8:30c on NBC.

#Superstore S4, Ep. 8-9 "Managers' Conference"/"Shadowing Glenn" Fall Finale Recap and Review
"Managers' Conference"
When Glenn gives up two tickets to a Cloud 9 managing conference, Amy and Jonah take it after learning that it's an all paid trip with the works. As they get there, it was hard to get in but Jeff gets them in by sneaking them in with other IDs. As they try to leave, Amy learns that the managers get free stuff and decides to take advantage on it. Jonah tells Amy that she should go for a manager position and after meeting a couple of managers that don't think their workers should get high wages and all. After that maybe she should go for a managing position. Garrett and Dina fight over who can wrap gifts for their costumers the best. As soon as they did the perfect wrapping on a gift they were done. Glenn asked Mateo for his social security number as it showed in the records that it belongs to someone else. This worried Mateo to the point that this could be the last we see him. But when Glenn asked again Mateo gave him another set of numbers and when Glenn checked it out, it turned out to be alright. "Managers' Conference" was a hilarious episode that felt like a fall finale. This episode should have ended up being the fall finale with the Christmas moment of Glenn helping Mateo. From Garrett and Dina to Mateo and Cheyenne, I just couldn't enough of watching these rich and well-developed character play to each other. Good writing and the performances from the cast was as good as it could be in an episode of Superstore. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.
"Shadowing Glenn" Fall Finale
In the fall finale, Amy decides to go for managing training and asked Glenn for his approval. But he decides to train her in like the comedy version of karate kid. He trains her what he knows, but Amy doesn't think she needs to know all of this since she thinks she knows what to do. That was until Amy made a mistake with one of the orders and tries to get the shippers to ship them back. But Glenn comes and saves the day and gets the other orders to be shipped back. Cheyenne and Mateo decide to go into the business together and comes up with a funny name, Cheateo. It may or may not work. But I would think it would be fun. Meanwhile, Dina is looking for a new career and gets Jonah to help after he was the one that called out during Amy watching Glenn's managing video. After turning down almost every job, there might be one that she would be good at. "Shadowing Glenn" was a well written, well-performed episode. The cast puts on a tremendous performance. Amy and Glenn's storyline gives that Karate Kid at work feels to it. Lauren Ash's performance was amazing. And even Cheyenne and Mateo's storyline could be at it's best this season with them working together to run their own business. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10. You can catch Superstore tonight at 8/7c on NBC!

#BrooklynNineNine S6, Ep. 8 "He Said, She Said" Recap and Review #Brooklyn99
Last week's episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine was not only a powerful episode, but it was also the best episode of the season. Here's a recap!
When Amy and Jake take on an assault case of a man inappropriately touching a woman in a workplace; it turns into a classic case of he said, she said of what happened. But when the victim gets an offer of $2 million dollars; Amy talks her out of it and lets them pursue the case. As Amy and Jake interview their colleagues at work; it seemed that everyone was taking the guy's side.
The case was a baffling one for Amy; as it really hit close to work for her. She told Jake of her experience of her when she was at another percent. But Amy and Jake get a tip from one of the colleagues that broke the case which led to their suspect arrested.  As the case was closed, Amy talks with the lady and learn that she was moving to start a fresh start.
"He Said, She Said" was such a powerful and well-performed episode of the season so far. The show showed that it can take a serious matter like the #MeToo movement and put their spin that made it work so well. Melissa Fumero gives her strongest and best performance of the season by far; not only should be the winner for the "performance of the week" but get a nomination at the Emmys. The character development of Amy was not only funny in the Brooklyn Nne-Nine way but overwhelming and moving. And not to mention, this episode marks the directorial debut of Stephanie Beatriz, who did a fabulous job with this episode. Overall, I give this episode a 9.5/10.

#BrooklynNineNine S6, Ep. 15 "Return of the King" Recap and Review #Brooklyn99
Gina returns and the B-Hives better watch out. Here's a recap!
In the "Return of the King," Gina returns and has become a popular motivational speaker with followers known as the G-Hives. Someone had made a death threat of her life at one of her upcoming events; so Gina calls on Jake and Terry to help find the suspect. But Jake hopes that this would bring them closer in their friendship as she keeps dodging them since she left.
When Jake and Terry spotted their suspect, they get Gina out just in time, but by the time they are at her apartment, Jake learns that she bailed on them the other night for business. As Gina tries to explain to Jake about it; she gets stabbed by the real suspect and Terry went to chase as Jake tells Gina the truth about what's been going on. Later Gina's recovering quite well with powerful meds and Jake finds out who the suspect is and soon arrested him. As Gina and Jake finally come to terms, they helped Terry reuniting with his old friend.
Holt's convinced that Charlie's son is smart; after what he thinks solved the problem. As Holt comforts Charles about it, they learn that the kid wasn't as smart as they thought as he was just in his drawing mode.
Also, Rosa can't use the use of her hands due to poison oak, but she won't let that stand in her way of daily activities. That's until she gets locked in the storage closet and tries her best to get out. Amy tries to help but Rosa wouldn't let that happen until she finally calls her and asks for help. Instead of helping, Amy encourages her to get out on her own and Rosa uses her neck to unlock the door. As she gets out and celebrates; she asked Amy to help her to the bathroom.
As much as I enjoyed the return of Gina; I thought that the "Return of the King" episode was quite good. Gina and Jake's story was brilliantly well written; and strong character development between them since she left the Nine-Nine. The Rosa story was very good and hilarious. But the Holt and Charles story wasn't as good as it kind of lost interest pretty quickly. Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.
