The root of most of the world’s problems is diseased hearts. Hearts which do not know Allah, hearts which are full of arrogance, greed and selfishness. Hearts which have become corrupted by sins and no longer taste the sweetness of īmān. Hearts torn apart by pride, envy and hatred, resulting in a fractured Ummah.

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوْبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِيْ عَلَىٰ دِيْنِكَ

O Changer of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.

سَمِعَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-رِجْلاً يَدْعُو فِي صَلَاتِهِ , لَمْ يَحْمَدِ اَللَّهَ , وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَى اَلنَّبِيِّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-فَقَالَ: " عَجِلَ هَذَا " ثُمَّ دَعَاهُ , فَقَالَ:

" إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِتَحْمِيدِ .‏ رَبِّهِ وَالثَّنَاءِ عَلَيْهِ , ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي عَلَى اَلنَّبِيِّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-ثُمَّ يَدْعُو بِمَا شَاءَ .

Narrated Fadalah bin 'Ubaid (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ...

heard a man supplicating during his prayer. He did not praise Allah, nor did he invoke blessings on the Prophet (ﷺ). He (ﷺ) said, "He made haste." He then called him and said, "When any of you prays, he should begin with the glorification of his Rabb (Lord) and praise Him; he should then invoke blessings on the Prophet (ﷺ); thereafter he should supplicate Allah for anything he wishes."

Russian River Supplication - bottled March 2020 (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. Haven't had this in quite a few years, so grabbed it early pandemic and finally cracked it open. As I remembered, it's incredible. Very clearly the RR yeast strain in the nose with lots of sour cherries and the nice subtle funk and tons of oak. Tart but not overly so, and nice dry finish -- works incredibly well with food.
