Continuation of this fic
CW: small mention of reading verbal and physical fight, small physical fight with partner (pushing), sexual assault, swearing
There were loud shouts of greeting as the Cubs walked in the Dumais’s door.
“You’re welcome Leo.” Sirius clapped him on the back.
“We finally convinced them to just pick a movie before anyone can change it.”
“Fucking finally” Leo groaned “Only took a million arguments and 100 physical fights.”
“So what’s the movie?” Finn asked Dumo.
“No” Leo’s blood froze.
“What? You’re the one that always says not to fight over movies.” Thomas laughed.
“Any movie but this one.” Leo insisted. “Literally any other movie.” His hands started to shake.
Leo saw Remus tilt his head to the side out of the corner of his eye.
“You have something against how hot Ryan Reynolds is?” Kasey asked him teasingly.
“No I just hate the movie.”
“Too bad, rookie.” James told him with a smile.
“Why’re you being stubborn, peanut?” Logan ruffled his hair.
Leo paled and pushed him off, hard enough to make Logan stumble into the wall.
“Leo, what the hell?” Logan asked in shock.
“I’m not watching the fucking movie” he shouted.
“So you push Logan into a fucking wall?” Finn shouted back.
Leo shook his head with a scoff and left, slamming the door behind him.
“What the hell was that?” Dumo asked.
“Finn, let me talk to him.” Remus stopped the red-head.
It wasn’t hard to find the teenager.
He sat at the end of the yard, leaning against a tree, looking out over Celeste’s garden.
“I’m sorry I pushed you.”
“Thanks for the apology but I’m pretty sure that happened months ago during practice.” Remus sat beside him.
“Sorry I acted like that. Ruined the whole night.”
“No you didn’t. We’re more worried about what’s going on.”
“I don’t like the movie.” He shrugged.
“Leo you’ve disliked a lot of the movies we’ve watched. But you’ve never pushed you boy into a wall because of it.”
“He touched my hair.” Leo whispered.
“What?” Remus furrowed his brows.
“He touched my hair.” Leo said again. “It- it reminded me of him.”
Leo nodded. “Josey. He was a senior. I was a junior.”
“Leo-“ Remus breathed out.
“We had study all together. No one else really showed that much interest in me so I wanted to make sure he kept liking me. He wanted to go to the movies. Made me do… stuff. Not everything, I ran out before he could. Called my dad to pick me up. He kept trying to talk to me in school, kept texting me, saying that I was over reacting and he did nothing wrong, saying it wasn’t that big of a deal.” Leo shrugged and picked at the grass. “Had to switch to a freshman study hall to get away from him.”
“And the movie-“
“I actually don’t know if I like it or not.” Leo laughed. “I only saw a few seconds here and there when I was trying to get him to watch the movie instead of making me touch him.”
“Jezz, I’m so fucking sorry.”
“It was a few years ago.” He shrugged. “Just- remember it sometimes.”
“I’m guessing Finn and Logan don’t know?”
Leo shook his head. “No, I’ve never told them. Probably should. After all I did just push Logan into a wall. Can you- um- can you get them. I don’t want to risk walking in and the movie being on and flipping out again.”
“Of course.” Remus stood up. “And Leo- I’m so sorry.”
Leo smiled at him sadly before Remus walked back towards the house.
“Finn, Logan.” He said when he got inside.
“He okay?” Logan asked, holding an ice pack to his head.
Remus tilted his head back and forth. “Just go talk to him and also pick another movie” he saw the movie playing on the tv.
Finn and Logan stood up and walked outside.
“I’m so fucking sorry.” Leo sobbed when he saw his boyfriends.
“What happened?“ Finn asked.
“I uh-“ Get it over with. “When I was a junior a senior made me do stuff in an empty movie theater, not everything I promise but enough, and that movie was the one we went to see. He always played with my hair and so the combination of the movie and you ruffling my hair freaked me out.”
“Leo,” Logan breathed in shock, tears in his eyes.
“Fuck, lover.” Finn pulled him into his side.
“I should have told you sooner. I’m sorry.” Leo cried.
“Don’t ever be sorry” Logan told him. “Not over this. Not over anything.”
Leo nodded and choked on a sob.
“Baby” Finn cried.
They all soon dissolved into a pile of tears.
Damn the ending is rushed
