She had only just recently met sweet, little Fuery. A kind individual that she had made fast friends with and decided she never wanted to see hurt.

Ever.

Yet, here they were, one long, drawn-out battle later. Ironically enough, it had been someone after her that had done this to him. A demon that wanted to take her life, and Fuery had taken the initiative in being defensive over her. A gun had been pulled, shots fired, and before she'd even been able to do anything against the other being, Fuery was on the ground. In the clutches of a monster that he'd never be able to defeat-

She'd rushed and thrown the demon off of her new friend, only to see that somehow Fuery had managed a very lucky stab to the most sensitive part of the being, leaving it just vulnerable enough for her to end its' life without a second thought.

And then she turned back to Fuery.

The wounds weren't as bad as she thought, but they also weren't minor. He had scratches, deep ones, all over his face and neck and there was one helluva puncture wound in his shoulder, likely infected and gross from the other demon's tongue. She shuddered to even think of the repercussions and pulled the poor little guy into her lap as gently as she could to care for him.

"You shouldn't have done that. Oh, that must hurt awfully- don't worry. I'll take care of you."

Another one of my cousins is having her first baby and wants primary colors for his room!

And I can't help but be relieved because I can finally make a baby blanket that's not grayscale or beige!

I promise I don't have anything against the gray and beige themes; I honestly think that some of the designs are really cute.

It's just that the last few baby blankets I've made have been all in those styles, and I'm so happy to be working with bright colors again!
