5: Platonic OTPs/BROTPs? Rarepairs? OT3+s?

Hmmmmmm aside from wangxian, xicheng is my other fav but I’ve seen a lot of content for it so idk if it would be a rarepair or anything? Uhmmmmm. This is a tough one becuase aside from those two ships I don’t ship a lot in MDZS.

Neilan is also good but I’m just partial to anything that involves LXC getting loved and appreciated.

I suppose songxiao is a rarepair in comparison to the alternative of xue yang and Xiao xingchen and Im a songxiao fan.

Also another rarepair is I want qin su and mianmian to runaway and be warrior wives. no I won’t explain or change my mind.

Platonic Brotp, I’d say young yunmeng prides. JC is a special character to me and his and wwx relationship prewar is v fun and I enjoy the banter.

Also platonic brotp of WWX and Mainmian. I have a fic idea where I want to flesh out a two gay best friends but everyone thinks they’re dating type fic because I think they’d get along really well as bros lol.

Also Lwj and Jyl as the founders and leaders of the wwx deserves love and support fan club and theyd bond over blanket burritoing wwx and cooking for him

No real ot3’s I’m not a big fan of the sworn brothers triad as a ship dynamic. Maybe if they got along earlier on but it feels like most of the time the 3 spent together nmj was suspicious of jgy and I just don’t get the appeal personally.

I love the juniors but don’t ship any of them with anyone. The only thing I ship with the juniors is general mayhem and property damage.

I love wangxian adn I really feel like wholely and entirely they just love eachother with every fiber of their being and then some. I just love their connection and just everything they go through to get their happy ending god wangxian really has my entire heart and soul

Thanks for the ask, and an interesting question :D I just make this my five faves here so I don’t ramble on for forever :P

Second years bench warmers, Kinoshita, Ennoshita and Narita.I mean, how can you not?? They are hard working too. They might have run away one time, but they came back and still have the same goal as everyone. Plus, as the arc have progressed (for those of you that do not read the manga), we get to see more of Kinoshita in action too

Shibayama Yuki (from nekoma) He gives me the same vibe as Yamaguchi. nervous, shy and anxious, but a sweetheart. I would die for him. Plus, he got a little arc in the OVA episodes. i loved that episode

Hanamaki and Matsukawa (Aoba Johsai)These two are one of my faves pairs, and I would honestly be content to just have a filler episode with just the two of them. We don’t know too much about them, but they are too cool and I like how they interact with Oikawa and Iwaizumi too.

Futakuchi Kenji (Date Tech)I like his attitude, his easy going-ness and that he knows hoe to rile certain people up. I would love to see more of him and his dynamic with the others. It’s all very fun to see him and Aone high-five or bump chest during matches… :P

Kai Nobuyuki (Nekoma)We don’t know to much about him, but I wished we did. He is just so calm and reliable on the court and I don’t think people give him the credit he deserves. Of course, it’s funny to see Yaku and Kuroo fight over stupid things (like in the OVA episodes), but just because a character doesn’t get worked up easily or have a mean streak, doesn’t mean they are boring.

Note, I do also like Himekawa Aoi, Kunimi Akira, Konoha Akinori.Himekawa gives me the same vibes as Yamaguchi and Shibayama, so of course I fell for him. I tend to fall for the more shy and anxious characters (if you haven’t noticed, lol) becuse they remind me of myself and I project so much into each character! (I do also like the more stoic ones too or those who are concurred “cool” too)

oh yeah!!! a few ocs are in a band together actually! thats oscar and neil and also 2 unnamed characters i havent developed at all yet gkjdnfkg oscar is the lead singer of the band and also helps write new songs and theyre really into mcr! oscar just wants to. scream their feelings into the mic until it makes them cry you know? but theyre also into all kinds of songs, they just like music in general. and neil plays bass and also does supporting vocals. he likes music thats fun to listen to i guess? anything that fits that category gkjdnfgd now that i think about it he would really love spirit phone. thank you anon, i am now thinking about oscar and neil singing the cabinet man together whenever someone says anything that sounds like one of the lyrics because guess what! they both know the song by heart

pie is really into rock i guess? i suppose he looks kinda indifferent to everything going on around him but he actually cares about things much deeper than any other oc. and that includes music! if you saw him practicing his guitar skillz you’d see how happy he is when hes playing! hes surprisingly shy when it comes to singing so he doesnt do it often

ash also sings i think? but his singing is more like. forest spirit vibes you know? he sings along with the trees and the wind and stuff. he really likes nature and nature said i just think hes neat

24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?

my fav character is winter (as ive mentioned before kjgndfg) but i think the one i really need to meet is oscar. they originally started out as my adventure time self-insert but that idea ended up becoming its own universe and im just. i wanna tell them its gonna be ok! i wanna tell them theyre gonna get better cause ive been where they are (because i projected everything onto them gkjdfngkfd im so sorry) so they should trust me

i don't know if i ever mentioned his age? he's 15!

also, he’s mexican!

he has a black cat!! her name's kuro because...y'know. she's a black cat. pluto's a simple guy, alright? lol

he absolutely loves music! he likes most songs/genres, but he really enjoys vocaloid and cutesy songs (though he won't ever admit it).

a couple of his favorite songs are shama by niru kajitsu (miy_yuu's cover to be specific!) and otsukimi recital by jin.

also he knows every single lyric of renai circulation.

he has terrible posture. please help this boy. he's already 5'3". save his soul. (he's the shortest one in the main 4 ahaaa)

he supresses his emotions a lot of the time, even happiness. he doesn't wanna deal with any of that, no sir.

he's good at staying quiet. like, it's almost scary how silent he can walk across floors.

(he's spooked koko about a million times because of this. at first it was unintentional, but now pluto has some fun with it.)

he types pretty normally when it comes to texting, like;

pluto: What are you guys even talking about. What's happening.

he'll die before he uses an emoji. he's fine with emoticons like :), but he will Never use emojis.

he'd probably wear crocs. he tucks his sweatpants into his combat boots. he's a fashion disaster.

he's really observant!! he'll notice the tiniest things, like a change in typing style or perfume. he probably won't point it out, though.

he barely listens in class, and yet he somehow always gets decent grades. koko mourns dramatically about this.

he doesn't like most coffee or tea. if he really has to, then he'll drink iced coffee. honestly? he just likes cold water.

sometimes he writes in this little pocket journal. he'll kill anyone who tries to look through it, because, y'know.

he's terrible at any physical activity, especially push ups. please, he is just a noodle.

he, of course, really digs space. it's one of his biggest interests! he's bursting at the seams to infodump, but he doesn't wanna bother anyone, y'know?

he chose the nickname pluto because he is very cool and edgy and it just kinda stuck.

he's surprisingly kind sometimes? because he's really observant, he catches on if he sees someone being...off or sadder than usual.

he'll try to just. give the person a small gift/note, and he'll run off like a dumb tsundere lol

he doesn't watch a lot of anime (or shows in general), but he really enjoys the disastrous life of saiki k (because who wouldn't?). he and koko watch it together whenever they're feeling shitty.

fun fact: every time i get a new sketchbook, i draw him first.

he's 16, but he's in the same grade(??? whatever the word is) as pluto! funky birthday tingz, y'know?

he's half indian and half filipino, which explains his last name (castillo-madan)!

anyways. in canon, he chose koko as a nickname instead of niko (though he'll def accept that nickname too) because it was a nickname that navya called him as a kid, and he just vibes with it.

(also, he wanted to avoid as many nico nico nii jokes as he can)

he watches a lot of anime! he's the reason why pluto got into vocaloid, too. he stans miku and also momo kisaragi. what a king.

he LOOOOVES the movie kimi no na wa/your name. zen zen zense is one of his favorite songs, like, ever.

his fav anime (animes?? i never know which one's right...) are mob psycho 100 and march comes in like a lion.\

he's loud and energetic and tries his best to cheer people up!! he also has owo bracelets, because he's just Like That.

he has adhd! he's trying his best.

he's very passionate about the things and people that he loves!! when he gets a new interest, it hits *hard*. he'll get absolutely hyperfixated on it.

his favorite show ever is probably avatar: the last airbender. he stans zuko and toph.

he gets really invested in characters and likes writing down character analyses sometimes!! he just vibes with them a lot

Good Omens:A First Foray

The First Impressions of a Viewer with No Context

I knew a good chunk of the plot because at first I honestly wasn't going to watch it, so I didn't really shield myself from any spoilers on tumblr.

That being said, I was hooked right from episode 1. I went into it thinking I was gonna be all over Crowley (given my other favourite characters in most other franchises) but the first time Aziraphale smiled I M E L T E D. SO PURE AND SWEET Also when "Aziraphale" was said I had a moment of 'oh. that's how you say that' Also the earth and my mom share a birthday. When Nanny Ashtoreth showed up I KNEW I was gonna need more content of her. Wife 100%

The fact that, try as they may, Zira and Crowley are completely incompetent and really only matter in the last like 16 minutes before the end of the world is really great. It's like watching a show that's about the really interesting side characters you get to see for 2 minutes and WISH you got 6 hrs of. Thank you, Neil.

Ep 2 we get to meet Newt and Anathema and omg I love them. I need Anathemas wardrobe ugh. And newt??? disaster Newton Pulsifer??? he's a mood. Not totally sure how I feel about their relationship but I love the contrast of "hey we just met like an hour ago and we're dating now thnks" to "we've known each other for 6000 years but there's no way he likes me the same way? side note, isn't it funny how the world is always emitting a low buzz of love my dear?" "ngk"

Agnes is amazing and I love how sassy she is. 10/10. I love how Aziraphale is not at ALL concerned about being shoved against a wall by Crowley. Like not one bit. He's like "oh finally, it's only taken you 6 millenia" honestly same

Ep 3 gives us the 30 minute cold open who's only purpose is to show how these two kept coming back to each other for 6 millenia, no matter how the last meeting may have gone. Here are a few thoughts:

Crowley has very pretty hair. Also I could 100% see by this point how these two have been gay for each other since day 1. Er rather day 7? Golgotha Crowley is v pretty and learning later that those are traditionally female garments was a treat. That scene was otherwise hard to watch, and they definitely thought so as well. The globe theatre was really fun to watch, I love Shakespeare. Sadly, Hamlet reminds me of my awful 10th grade English teacher. she ADORES that play. So thanks, Aziraphale.

Bastille= PEAK GAY LOOK

I'd seen the church scene and "you go too fast for for me in MANY a gift, but hearing them was OOF. Michael Sheen didn't have to go so hard on that line but OH BOY DID HE EVER. I may have cried.

I honestly didn't realize that the intro didn't play until the middle of the episode until I rewatched it?? like that completely flew over my head.

THE BANDSTAND. THE E M O T I O N. AZIRAPHALE WAS SO HURT. he was so torn because so much of him still wanted to believe in the good of heaven, but his heart (or the angelic equivalent) had long ago sided with Crowley. When Crowley came back and asked him to run away to Alpha Centuri??? UGH. that dude instantly assuming they're gay? same. same random dude. same. And omg Crowley praying??? to God??? he cares about humanity and it SHOWS. By this point I was REALLY relating to Aziraphale. His reluctance to stray from what he knows and was told reminds me so much of myself. that A n x i e t y.

the end of episode 4 and into episode 5 HURT. the bookshop? "I lost my best friend"? The fact that Crowley was ready to give up and wallow drunkenly through the Apocalypse because continuing on or running away held no meaning if he didn't have Aziraphale by his side. I cried. On the other hand, defiant Aziraphale? "Angels can't posses people" "Demons can..." YES BBY STOP BLINDLY FOLLOWING ORDERS!!! FREE THOUGHT BABEY!!! Now: Shadwell and Tracy. Shadwell is hilarious and I love him, end of story. He's just so... out there. crazy dude. Madame Tracy on the other hand? AMAZING. her actress (I can't think of her name and I have a REALLY ONE TRACK MIND) absolutely KILLED it. AMAZING. The seance? That dude who WAS JUST LOVING EVERY SECOND? Alrighty Episode 6!!!

when they switch back and it's all revealed? G l o r i o u s. They played each other so well!!! honestly props to Michael and David, their acting was PHENOMENAL.

The ending. A happy ending. The amount of love with which Zira says "to the world" killed me. I'm dead now thanks to that. I'm typing this from the grave, that's how powerful that line is. Honestly, knowing next to nothing going in was kind of wild and my crazy reblogging spree actually got some of my mutuals to watch the show which is pretty neat. Going back through 3 more times now, Aziraphale definitely resonates with me the most. I actually have a small blurb I wrote on the positive effects he's had on my perception of myself in terms of stimming.

All in All this show hit me in a way I did NOT expect it to, and I'm glad I found it when I did. I was at a point where I was kinda feeling like I'd never really have a fulfilling relationship because of my asexuality, and then I found good omens. I def read the characters as ace while watching it and it was amazing seeing two characters who can love each other fully, without the need for anything explicit. The show was an instant fav and I'm trying to find a physical copy of the book (that I can afford) so I can read the original text. This is a story that's going to stay important to me for a very long time, I can feel it.

Everything by Memphis is A+ and I love it so if you haven’t you should check out more stuff by them ( No Ordinary Love is super nice, That’s Just Life is very dear to me and so is Divinity, Speechless is… my otp song for every otp ever tbh) - Bring Me The Horizon is my fav post-hardcore band and both MMF and Chiodos are that genre so if you don’t know them give them a try! (Blasphemy, Run and Doomed are between my faves out of the latest album, and since you liked Under Your Halo you’re probably gonna like Follow You too) the album right before is amazing too if you’re okay with less melodic stuff, but the further back you go with BMtH the harder to listen to they get, just a heads up - Sleeping With Sirens are on the softer side of post-hardcore lately, Fly, Left Alone, Trouble, Fire and Empire To Ashes are some great ones, between the many, and, uhhhh, at this point I might have recced Nothing More a hundred times but let’s make it a hundred and one, try Funny Little Creatures, Do You Really Want It and Go To War out of the newest album! If you’re into punk and female voices you should check out Tonight Alive too, Jenna has one of my two fav female voices in rock right now (Crack My Heart and Temple are the latest two songs out!) and since I always rec stuff but I never rec anything by my favorite band ever, you ever heard of Alter Bridge? They’re more towards hard-rock/alternative metal, but check out Blackbird, Fortress, I Know It Hurts, Cradle To The Grave and Broken Wings just to make it one for every album I really, really adore this band and everything they ever made

How much of the deadpan ridiculous shit Todoroki says has become an inside-joke. How many 1A kids move and talk like Iida just for the hell of it. How often do they yell DIE at inanimate stuff when it pisses them off. How much stuff is defined as manly even though it has nothing to do with manliness. Do they say “going wheey” instead of “frying one’s brain”. Can anyone outside of 1A even understand them when they speak at this point.

It’s not a stupid question, don’t worry!! But I generally like to leave myself in Horikoshi’s hands for this sort of stuff, since I both enjoy the costumes as they are AND don’t want to be disappointed in case what I hope for doesn’t actually happen - that said, I’ve mentioned before that I’d really like Aoyama to get redirectors for his laser on his palms and for Kaminari to get a close combat weapon, since with the quirk he has anything metal would actually work wonders for him! He mentioned a sword, but I rest my case that tonfas would be cool, I really want him to use tonfas. A “costume” I don’t understand is Hagakure’s, by the way - would be nice if she got an actual costume and also I don’t really get why she’d wear gloves at all?? Mirio’s costume was made using his hair, I really want her to get something similar! That’s about it tho, I haven’t really thought much about anyone else in that sense~

once i had a dog and i can’t recall his breed but he looked just like toto from the wizard of oz and we had him for a few months but he pissed everywhere and on everything so we ended up selling him to some ppl. fast forward to a few months later maybe a year the couple had auditioned him to play toto in the school’s wizard of oz play and he got the part so that was cool

i lob hunk with all my heart he is a sweet bean + i care abt the enviorment a lot i think that with trump as president it’s really gonna go to shit more than it already is bc obv it’s been a dilemma for years now but with the goverment denying climate change and all that i rly fear for our planet
