• Let be what is, let be what isn't
It's a natural world in which we're living
And if you let it alone, it will surely grow
Just leave it alone, child, and let it go.
• Even the great celestial hieroglyphs
Are bodies of dust illuminated, and if
The heavens can be both sacred and dust
Oh, maybe so can the rest of us
My last Artfight attack of the year on @thedailyvio with our ocs Cusick, Agathe, Romana, and Kordell with copious amounts of flower language and song associations in mind

@sssardonian-ssserpent
Big bright eyes blinked at him expressively as he spoke, giving a loud hum of feigned understanding as he spoke. While she had no intention of interacting with anyone that day, her curiosity once again yanked her into directions best left avoided. A slow learner she may be, but that just made her rife with experiences.
This one, for instance, even as she attempted to give him her undivided attention, her eyes kept flicking to his characteristic hood, then tail, then hood again-- wait did his hat just blink!? While she wasn't b-- she didn't die yesterday, there were still mountains upon mountains of mysteries within her apparent afterlife that she's yet to uncover.
For instance-- if there's a snake demon, does that mean she's gotta worry about a dinosaur demon later? One crisis at a time--
Her trainwreck of thoughts only came to a screeching halt with a simple question--who was she? A rather rude delivery, though, causing her to huff slightly. Her furry ears gave a reactionary flick of annoyance.
"I'm, aaauhhh…" It was rather embarrassing, but she still had trouble recalling certain details of her human life-- her name being the most important, arguably. She ascribed it to her rather graphic nature of her death, but that was just a working theory so far.
In the meantime, she had to develop a working name of course. And naturally the first time a demon asked it of her, she replied with a rather affectionate nickname she was gifted in life--
"Its…Giggles," The pause and blunt delivery should have been enough to alert the stranger that she wasn't terribly proud of this admission. Regardless, she pressed on herself, "And who the hell're you?" Twang hanging thick as suspicious but still lively eyes scan his features for signs of him laughing at her name. Which was a regular response, apparently.

Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.

yknow i never noticed the sheer rareness of images having ids or alt text on this website until i started adding alt text to my art (and trying to remember to add it to any images i post in general, especially text screenshots) and that makes me kinda sad
