Okay so I think she’d definitely be older than Ponyboy, and would hold him to that. Like she’d never let him for a MOMENT let him forget he was younger.

However, those two are conjoined at the hip and are absolutely inseparable.

I feel like they look alike, but not alike at the same time? Like people would tell them they look alike all the time but they’d be like “nah, you’re tripping” but in reality, if Ponyboy had the same length hair as her they’d probably look more similar. Smthing like that.

They 100% do that weird thing siblings do when they’re close in age or are twins and basically read each others minds and share one braincell between the two of them.

However they couldn’t be more different personality wise.

While Ponyboy’s favourite older brother is Sodapop, if she had to pick a favourite older brother she would probably pick Darry.

She smoked a cigarette one time and the entire gang was on her back about it (little hypocritical much but whatever)

And I feel like she would be named after the mother because she’s the first daughter. Kind of like how darrys named after their father because he’s the first son. So she doesn’t have a whack name like her twin brother.

PONYBOY’S TWIN SISTER WOULD BE SHORT AF and it would be the most amusing thing ever because I feel like all the Curtis boys would be tall.

Darry, 6’2, built like a brick shit house. Sodapop, 6’0. Ponyboy, would end up like 5’10. And the sister? 5’3 at BEST. She would be just itty bitty compared to her brothers.

In saying so; when they want to piss her off they will put everything up on the higher shelves so she can’t reach them. But like hell will she ever ask for help or use a chair, bitch will fr do the short girl climb.

Four Curtis siblings would be so fun 😭

Because she grew up with three brothers, you can bet your ass that she’s almost treated like a forth brother sometimes

it ended up being one of those situations where you bribe your little sibling to stop crying after you hurt them so that you don’t get in shit

I feel like Darry would lowkey have a soft spot for his little sister, and would be a total push over when it came to her.

Sister: “Hey, Darry, can I borrow five dollars?” Darry: “Yeah, sure. Go crazy, kid.” Ponyboy: “When I asked you for five dollars you said no.” Darry: “Okay and?”

Curtis!Sister would have been so close with their mother and would have been an absolute daddies girl because she was the only girl.

She could get away with murder in her father’s eyes because he thought she was just a little Angel and it would leave her brothers 😦 because they know she’s an absolute terrorizer in reality

Her and her mother would have such a close bond, and she was never quite the same after her mother died because while she lost both her parents, when it came to her mother she felt like she lost the person who knew her better than anyone. She also felt very alone because now she was the only girl and felt as if she had no one to relate to.

In fact, Curtis!Sister was very distant from home after their parents died, and often stayed at friends houses to avoid what was going on at home whenever she had another place to stay.

As for the gang, of course she would be close with them, and they’re all pretty protective over her

ofc, naturally, duh.

I feel like she hangs out with them regularly just because they’re always at the Curtis house, however she has her own friend group from school that she keeps separately.

Two-Bit will literally take every secret she ever mentions to him to the goddamn grave. It’s not like she ever tells him secrets on the regular, but if he so happens to find something out, he’s sworn to secrecy.

Mainly because she’s threatened him with blackmail on multiple occasions.

Steve tolerates her more than Ponyboy. He has no reason as to why, that’s just how things are. He’s still that guy who doesn’t like his best friend’s little siblings, but Ponyboy irks him a bit more because he’s Ponyboy (need I say more?)

I feel like Dally treats her the same way he does Ponyboy. In his mind they’re twins, so that means they’re the same person.

As for Johnny, idk, I honestly feel like Johnny doesn’t talk to girls. They make him shy no matter who they are.

I think we already know that boyfriends are absolutely not an option for this poor girl.

Any future boyfriend would have to get on the good side of all seven of those guys before he’s even qualified for dating her

However, you can bet your ass that once she does get a bf, that the guys are making sure to embarrass the hell out of her

When the actual plot of the book happens, she would literally give Darry the silent treatment for the entire five days that Ponyboy was gone. Would not say a single word to him because she was so upset/angry.

Once she heard about how Dally knew where he’d gone, she would have gone absolutely ballistic on him and would have genuinely made him go 👁️👄👁️

The white horse... Silver (Cat)

Blue and Yellow is a love color combination not a specific couple, mostly romantic love (Max, Lucas, Joyce when she's with Hopper etc wear it) Throughout the show the only consistent wardrobe choices are the blue hair tie (El) and yellow watch. The latter belongs to Max which connects the horse, reins and saddle and the shield via Lucas to Max and therefore El.

The reins in the painting are yellow pointing to the driver, the saddle which means co-driver is blue l.

Max drives - Yellow , El co-drives - Blue. Savvy?

Here are Blue and Yellow even in Yellow/Mustard and Red/Ketchup (indicating that they are dating).

The horse appears in El's bedroom (there's a lot going on in this image, the post I wanted to make however contains some findings of others that I looked at and noticed the important elements - it's still a draft) too right between Blue and Yellow and Max making the hand chop movement like she's splitting something.

The horse is even at closer inspection a Unicorn - as in One. Already made a post about it but I left out an important detail in the English language regarding pronouns:

A few months ago the writers tweeted a picture of A wrinkle in time and hinting at Mrs Whatsit (a star that sacrificed itself to fight evil) in the tweet conversation - that's the flying centaur being on the cover. A horse yet again. And everything points to ElMax that is/are the horse and the shield.

The horse is a nod to the Lone Ranger and his horse: Silver. Why? Because Lucas is a Ranger in D&D not a knight.

Get it Ke-mo sah-bee? Which by the way means "he who looks out in secret/peeks". Binoculars!

And Max then takes over, zooming (one of two meanings of "Zoomer").

Silver as in "Silver cat"

Did I mention that Max fed dog while Blue and Yellow met in California?

FYI "In the west" means all the United States not just California especially for Russians.

Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)

Daniels reach far beyond the remotest scope of possibility when crafting their multiverse. Rocks stare out over a canyon through googly eyes. People with hot dog fingers jizz ketchup and mustard from their fingertips. An everything bagel is the nexus of existential annihilation. Yet this goofiness is balanced with sincerity. The rocks contemplate the peacefulness of a static, contemplative existence, and there is poignancy when they overcome inertia to pursue or escape one another. The hot dog people find dexterity in their toes enough to conjure up Claire de lune as a gesture of love. Within these broad extremes are more understandable alternative possibilities, primarily used to send up various genres of action films. A rule set is swiftly established, our characters needing to commit improbable acts to jump into the skill sets of alternate personalities. It’s a fun gimmick, Michelle Yeoh slathering herself with hand sanitizer or blowing up someone’s nose to unlock kung fu, or guys dueling to take IRS trophies which look suspiciously like butt plugs up the ass. But they commit to the bit and every scene is a fountain of creativity, action and reaction unfolding in kinetic action scenes. But this is just a foundation for the usage of the multiverse.

I don’t want my love letters to cinema to be circle-jerky statutory pieces like Licorice Pizza or lazy nonsense like The Artist. I want them to be goofy, loving, earnest, and sincere, paired off with an immaculate eye for detail and a very particular technical style. The hotdog people are introduced in a brief but immaculate sendup of 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Evelyn’s movie star persona enters into a world envisioned by Wong Kar-wai, all neon light and blurry movement in the background. Who knew that Ke Huy Quan could look so fucking handsome in Tony Leung mode. Ang Lee’s Wuxia films inform much of the action, and there are perhaps even inflections of Todd Haynes’ soft focus in the hot dog lesbian scenes. This is The Matrix and Scott Pilgrim vs the World on club drugs, but still with an identity of its own. Hell, we even get some Wes Anderson meets Pixar action in the bizarre Beni Hana raccoon Ratatouille mashup. Here. For. It.

But there still has to be an emotional core to this whole piece. Daniels paint in broad strokes here, adopting the common trope of the family drama writ large in operatic strokes. The daughter wants to break away, her mother is in conflict with her, but learns to see herself in her offspring and recognize her autonomy. They conflict with one another, and they find common ground. There is an abrasiveness to everything, but also a deep abiding affection. Nothing groundbreaking, but the movie is so cathartic in its editing and energy that I’m beaten into submission of loving it. It entertains but doesn’t fully enter into dialogue generational phobias about queer love, and similar racial microaggressions these immigrants face. Evelyn makes off-tone comments about her daughter’s girlfriend, and her auditor thinks that “her people” were supposed to be good at math. It’s all batted at but never really substantiated. All the same. This is fantasy, we want the broad beats. And lord knows the film had craft to spare.

“학교다닐 때 애들이 저를 ‘토케’라고 불렀어요. 제가 화가나면 토마토 케첩처럼 얼굴이 엄청 빨개진다고 붙여준 별명이에요. 전교 부회장을 했었거든요. 부회장은 학교나 선생님들 의견을 애들한테 잘 전달하고, 애들이 바라는 걸 학교에 잘 전달하고 그런 역할을 하는 거예요. 근데 한번은 체육대회가 계획된 날 비가 애매하게 오는 거예요. 차라리 비가 제대로 내리면 취소라도 했을텐데, 다들 결정을 못하고 있던 상황이었어요. 처음에 한 선생님이 그냥 진행하겠다고 하셔서 학생들에게 제가 전달했는데, 1분 후에 다시 취소 통보를 받고, 그 후에 다시 진행한다고 번복되서 애들한테 얘기했더니 짜증을 저한테 엄청 내는 거예요. 저는 전달자였는데, 엄청 억울했죠. 근데 한 친구가 저 얼굴 빨개지는거 보고는 ‘야 토케 화났다, 그만해라’ 하더라고요. 화나면 얼굴이 빨개지는 사람들은 친구들이 알아서 상황을 멈춰주니까 좋은 점도 있어요.”

Just let it go!’ That is one good thing about my face going red: For people like me, your friends know when you’re upset, and put a stop to the situation.”

Sayap Ayam Bumbu Korea

Berhubung Alhamdulillah enak, maka perlu didokumentasikan agar tidak lupa pas mau buat lagi oho.

Awalnya bukan mau buat pake resep yang ini, 2 hari yang lalu nemu video resep tapi kayanya lihat diexplore instagram, soalnya waktu kemarin nyari nyari resepnya (yang niatnya mau dibuat untuk buka shaum) ternyata malah ga ketemu. Akhirnya pas di jalan pulang cari resep lain dan harus mencocokkan dengan bahan yang ada di rumah. Alhamdulillahnya ketemu.

Tapi kemudian direvisi beberapa karena menyesuaikan berat ayam yang dipakai juga. Kalau di resepnya memakai ayam berat 350 gr, aku buat awalnya 1 kg tapi karena ada bagian bagian yang dibuang kata mamah mungkin berkurang sekitar 3 ons. Berikut resepnya (sambil tetep dimunculin resep aslinya biar ada pembanding):

Bahan:

Untuk Marinasi Ayam

- 350g chicken tenderloin (pakainya sayap ayam berat sesuai tertera di atas) - 3 pinch of salt (terpakai sekitar 1,5 sdt) - 0.5 tsp ginger powder (tea spoon) -> pakainya jahe betulan karena yang powder ngga ada, diparut sekitar 1 buku jari jempol - 1 tsp of minced garlic (pakai 3 buku bawang) - 3 tbsp of cooking wine (rice spoon) -> pakai 6 sdm saus manis jepang kikkoman - 0.5 tsp black pepper (sesuai feeling ehe, yang penting ketabur semua bagian permukaan paling atas)

Adonan Tepung Ayam

- 40g Frying flour (flour20+corn srarch20+2pinch salt) - 60g rice flour - 1 pinch of salt - 100ml of water

Tadinya pakai patokan itu, tapi pas ngasih air agak sembrono karena asal ngitug 2x lipat, airnya ternyata kebanyakan, akhirnya dikira-kira dengan patokan perbandingan dari situ waktu nambahin lagi pertepungannya biar lebih kental. Terus ditambah sekitar 1-2 sdm tepung krispy instan karena sempat tidak pede.

Saus

- 1 tbsp fine chili pepper powder (pakai sekitar 3 sdm) - 2 tbsp of sugar (pakai 3 sdm) - 3.5 tbsp starch syrup(replaced with honey) -> total make 5 sdm, 3 sdm sirup jagung, 2 sdm madu kaliandra -1.5 tbsp soy sauce (pake 3 sdm) - 0.5 tbsp oyster sauce(replaced with soy sauce) -> tetep pakai oyster sauce 1 sdm - 0.5 tbsp ketchup -> pakai 1 sdm saus heinz yang rasa sambel mangga, soalnya adanya ini - 3 tbsp chili pepper oil (pakai chili oil eastern yang hot, 1 sdm sama cabenya, 2 sdmnya lagi minyaknya aja) - 1 tsp minced garlic (don't add too much) -> pakai 2 sdm

Garnish

- 1 spicy pepper (can be omitted) - Chopped peanuts

Karena perutnya sedang sensitif bagian spicy peppernya diskip, jadinya iris bawang daun. Dan karena kacangnya ngga ada, akhirnya diganti pakai wijen putih yang udah disangrai.

Cara pembuatannya bisa langsung diliat dari video soalnya kalau tahapan disamain. Dari yang pertama bikin marinasi dulu terus dibalurin ke ayamnya, abis gitu didiemin sekitar setengah jam. Abis itu buat sausnya. Sausnya disimpen dulu di kulkas karena mau dimakan buat sahur. Setelahnya buat adonan buat ngebalurin ayamnya. Abis kebalur ayamnya, penggorengannya dilakuin 2x, istilahnya jadi double deep fried. Kalau diresep, penggorengan keduanya dilakukan selan 2-3 menit setelah ditiriskan, tapi karena mau buat sahur aku lakuin penggorengan keduanya pas mau sahur aja.

Buat yang pertama, apinya di kisaran kecil ke kecil sedang. Sisi pertama yang kegoreng digoreng +-3 menit, setelah dibalik dilanjut sekitar 2 menit.

Buat penggorengan kedua, pakai api sedang. Kalau yang ini sisi pertama sekitar 1 menit 20 detik, yang kedua sekitar 1 menit aja.

Setelah selesai penggorengan kedua, di wajan yang berbeda masak sausnya. Saus ditunggu sampai mendidih dulu, kalau udah mendidih aduk aduk sekitar 30 detik, lalu masukkan ayamnya dan aduk sampai rata. Setelahnya masukkan bawang daun dan wijen, aduk sampai rata lagi. Kalau udah, ayam siap disajikan :)

Enak syekali Alhamdulillah, pas ngga kepedesan juga tapi ada hangat-hangatnya gitu ehe.
