Danny makes a nest

So Danny was visiting Dani in the ghost zone and they both get sucked through a portal and into another universe

At first, they look around searching for another natural portal but can't find one, (Fenton luck again)

After some trial by fire they figure out if they save up enough energy they can combine their ability and make a portal themselves

But like I said, they need energy for that lots of energy

So they build a nest, which helps store energy, and helps them rest and since this universe has a fair amount of ambient ectoplasm if they make the nest out of things that have ambient ectoplasm it can cut the time in half!

So dani and Danny start building their nest

.

And JL are facing a problem

2 creatures are taking artifacts and spellbooks

They swoop in, take what they want and leave, they've tried stopping them but the creatures just ignore them

They are not often seen together but Constantine said they're very similar in structure and magic that they must be related

The odd part is they don't hurt anyone

They don't attack the JL members that try and stop them, they don't go after civilians and they only go after artifacts that contain death magic

The JL don't know what to make of it

Though they might have to up this on the priority list because when Bruce got home, Talia Al Ghul was their and the first thing she said was

"some creature took the lazerous pit"

Reunion

As I should have realized by now, mentioning an AU gets me wanting to write for it, so here’s the married Scarian AU, this time with actual context.

Grian and Scar met before Hermitcraft where they ended up falling in love and getting married. When Scar joins Hermitcraft he doesn’t mention that he’s married or in a relationship in general, and they continue to not when Grian joins Hermitcraft. Pearl is the only one who knows since she was literally at their wedding.

The events of Evo are canon here, for some context on a few lines. Won’t go into detail, but Scar was understandably distraught when he heard about what happened from Pearl, so he was very happy when Grian joins Hermitcraft.

Grian turns as he hears someone stumbling as they enter his starter base. He grins as he sees Scar, “looks like you didn’t drown this time.”

“That- that was an accident,” he mumbles, flustered.

“I figured you wouldn’t drown yourself intentionally.”

“Just- just come here, I’ve missed you.”

Grian doesn’t waste another second to almost tackle Scar into a hug, holding him closely, “I’ve missed you too, so much.”

Scar returns the hold, just as tight, “I’m just glad you’re alright.”

Grian tenses, murmuring after a moment, “mostly.”

Scar’s grip tightens, “what happened?”

He hesitates for a long moment, “I don’t want to think about it. Can we just cuddle?”

“Alright,” Scar murmurs, pulling back. “We can cuddle.”

Grian can’t help but be relieved, pulling out of Scar’s hold and grabbing his hand. He leads Scar over to one of the few pieces of future he has, his bed, and pulls Scar with him onto it. Scar laughs, but follows along willingly, getting onto the bed beside Grian. He barely waits for Scar to get situated before flopping himself onto his husband, burying his head into his neck, and wrapping his arms around him. Scar returns the hold again, murmuring a quiet, “I love you.”

“I love you too,” Grian murmurs back, pressing a light kiss to Scar’s neck.
