Blog post #27: Happy one year anni to my dawg and me

Everyone says I’m “freaky” apparently, so I tried something new and got a full freaky 7 hours of sleep. I feel unstoppable boys try that in the bedroom sometime!!!!!!!! Averaging 3 hours a night got me feeling like a stale bread that Vivanye might be making later (ily Vivanye).

My parents and dawg came to visit me in LA and I felt healing in our time over good food, Christmas songs, and business talk. Maybe I’m not so cynical about the phrase, “Time heals all” anymore. I feel like my dad and I actually bonded. We don’t have much in common but today I learned that we do both put too much faith in strangers and facades, and too little in ourselves and those around us who've earned our trust. Anyways, I advised him to slow down and wait for a more fruitful period. Don’t sell yourself short for instant gain. That kind of thing. It was a nice, real conversation that I couldn’t see myself having with my dad exactly one year ago. Thanksgiving and the holidays meant nothing to me and I was grateful for nothing this time last year. So maybe today was more than just bawm.net food. Wholesome lunch with my parents??? And my dog which by the way I adopted exactly one year ago??? whO IS SHE?? A CONCEPT!!!!!!!!
