jack was always such a lighthearted and joyous person to be around.

whenever he stepped into a room, everyone craned their necks just to catch a glimpse of him. whether he was in a large crowd or just around a small group of people, there was always a smile set on his face.

but today, that bright smile was gone. his usual booming voice that would greet you everytime your presence entered his apartment was replaced by the dim ticking of the clock and the soft wind blowing in through his open window, the only source of light in his bedroom being the sun that shone itself through.

jack, sitting up on his bed with his back against the headboard, was blankly zoning out at his feet with a heavy heart in his chest. he didn’t respond nor react when he heard you open the door and enter his room.

“jack?” your voice questioned softly, a slight sympathetic tone coming from your voice. you had very slight hope that he would answer you, but you also weren’t expecting him to want to speak up either. you could understand how he would be feeling so beaten up by what happened, but you didn’t expect him to be handling it this bad.

you knew how much he was upset about not being able to play hockey for a while due to his dislocated shoulder. and you could just tell that he was feeling even worse considering how much work he had put into starting off this season strong, considering how frustrated he was after his rookie season.

jack didn’t make a single sound. instead, he simply just scooted himself to the side a bit more to offer you room to sit on his bed. of course, you being you though, just sitting down was not what you were planning on doing.

you stepped closer to his bed, walking around to the side opposite of his injured arm, before carefully throwing your legs over the mattress and laying your head on his soft pillows.

you took a few moments, finding the most comfortable spot for you and closing your eyes with a relaxed sigh.

a small pout formed on your face after you opened your eyes and saw jack still staring straight in front of him. leaning in closer to him, you slid yourself under his good arm, bringing your head up to rest on his chest and a hand up to place on his lower stomach.

“i’m sorry j. i know this must really be crushing you right now.” you muttered lightly under your breath, burying your face into the soft cotton of his sweater.

jack finally released a discouraged sigh, his lips pursed together and creases on his forehead with the resentment that was built up in his chest. he knew that the time would come where something like this would happen, but he couldn’t fight the thought that he let down his whole team. the disappointment he was feeling with himself filled his entire body more than he thought it would.

after hearing the disheartened exhale that left him, your heart plummeted to your stomach. not knowing for sure what to say, you just gently glide your fingers again his stomach drawing random shapes, your lips pressing a light kiss to his clothed shoulder.

jack felt like his heart was about to burst when he felt you against him. in a slight way, instead of hating himself for getting injured, he hated himself for feeling so many things for you.

he hated how weak he felt around you, always falling to your every wimb. he hated how much he loved being alone with you, and how many beats his heart skipped whenever you touched him even in the slightest. he hated how safe and comforted he felt whenever you always came running to him to help if he was feeling down. not to mention how much he absolutely hated the bitterness he felt when he had to watch you grow romantic feelings for someone else, just to end up with a broken heart in the end. and worst of all, he hated how he could never find an appropriate time to declare his love for you.

at this point, he engraved it into his mind that he just had to stop himself and find someone else to fall in love with. lately he had been trying to distance himself further from you, and up until now he thought he was doing fairly good.

unlike the usual banter that would start between the two of you everytime you were with each other, the room was awfully quiet right now. but not in a sense that there was any awkwardness. it seemed quiet in a sense that there was some sort of unknown flare of intimacy and vulnerability that embraced the two of you; an exclusive feeling that only the two of you held.

and suddenly, the silence was broken and jack finally spoke.

“why are you here? there’s a game tonight.” he said, trying his best to distract and steer himself away from the heavy pounding of his heart that he was hoping you could not feel under your fingertips.

your movements stopped, your fingers pausing to rest. you always went to all of his home games every chance you could. you were somewhat close to most of the other guys on his team, but the main reason you went, was to watch him; the man that shined his brightest whenever he was on the ice. the man who always had you staring down at him in awe as he gracefully did what he does best. the man who made you so proud of him for living out his biggest dream.

the man who stole your heart undoubtedly, without any notice whatsoever.

“i’m not going to the game if my best friend is not playing.”

jack’s jaw clenched hard at your choice of words. he couldn’t deny the stinging feeling that shot through him when you said it.

‘best friend.’

the two words he absolutely hated the most. the painful awareness of just how strong his love was for you came tumbling down on him like a ton of bricks. the feeling was too overwhelming for him, as you called him your best friend; he wanted more than that. he wanted more than just the close-knit friendship that tied you close to each other. the words replaying in his head, banged all across his skull, so hard that he couldn’t help but let out a loud grunt.

“what’s wrong?” you asked, concern filling your orbs as you looked up at him from where you head rested. you thought you might’ve hurt him, physically since your hand was so close to his arm that was strewn into a sling.

when he didn’t give you any response, you took your hand and grabbed his chin and tilted his head to face you, the stubble growing back on his jaw pricking your skin lightly.

you frowned at him and repeated yourself. “what’s wrong jack?”

the distance that existed between your faces was much closer than jack thought, so close that he couldn’t help his gaze from shifting down quickly to glance at your lips. he felt his chest bursting with fireworks, the sight of your lips just taunting him so much more.

jack gulped slowly, heaving a heavy sigh with closed eyes before looking back straight at you. “best friends…” his voice was timid, words slipping out almost hesitantly, “i don’t like that, i really don’t.”

“me neither,” you whispered, soft breaths now fanning right over his lips due to you slowly closing the barrier between you both.

the hand you had grasping his jaw, slid down his chest to find his injured arm, gently gliding to his hand and lacing your fingers with his.

shaking breaths were exchanged through the small space of air between your mouths, noses nudging against each other softly. he truly couldn’t tell if this just a dream, a figment of his imagination, or if it was real life right before his eyes.

possibly just a dream within reality; a dream of his that was now finally becoming his reality.

jack simply couldn’t think with having you this close to him. he wasn’t sure if he even wanted to ever think again, because if he was allowed to have the love of his life so close like this, he would rather never think.

“are you being serious?”

“yes, jack rowden hughes,” you said, his full name sounding like heaven rolling of your tongue, “just shut up and kiss me already.”

and so he did, immediately obliging to your demands. tender lips with such passionate touches and grazes of your thumb over his knuckles. all of the emotions and feelings he had been keeping bottled up inside the pits of his heart were now dropping down to the deep depths of a black void, slipping away from him to finally enjoy the moment he has been waiting for.

and jack poured out every single emotion out into the way his lips curved and caressed perfectly over yours, and every soft squeeze of his hand to yours that quietly promised his undying love for you to continue on forever.

he pulled away after a few moments, chest rising and falling heavier with each flustered pant trying to regather his breath.

a soft smile drew itself across his lips before he pressed the most gentle of kisses upon the plane of your forehead and rested his own against it right after.

the room was silent once again after that. the only sounds being the soft air blowing through the curtains of the open window and the soft shifts of your bodies as you cuddled up to jack as close as you could get.

even though the room was quiet, the love being conveyed between you was oh so loud.

and now, jack felt his injury coming to less of a burden in his life, knowing you were right there with him. cuddled up into his side, just the way he always wanted you to be.

TMAG Theory Board Update (EP 11-12)

Hi guys sorry about the late posting I've just started a new quarter of college and its been pretty hectic. also got into my school design BFA program so pretty stoked about that! Anyways lets get into the Episode Breakdowns because even though not a lot of lore related things happened I still have a lot to talk about

For the breakdown I'll separate each by episode in sequential order

What Happened in Episode 11: Marked

Celias Rude Awakening- we jump right into the weirdness straight away with Celia waking up on the side of the interstate. she indicates that this is not a weird occurrence and ends the scene by telling someone named Jack that she's "on her way." If you remember episode 8 after Celia and Sam talk to Gerry and Gertrude, she mentions stuff about wanting help with her own mystery. When Sam asks about it she says she's looking into Time travel, other dimentions and teleportation. Many people have theorized that maybe Celia is just a super heavy sleepwalker, but I think the she teleports random places out of nowhere. This could be a side effect of her reality hopping if this Celia is originally from The archives universe.

As for the identity of Jack I'm not quite sure about that yet. I cross referenced the name Jack with past episodes of TMA. The only thing that came up was Jack Barnabas from the statement about dating Agnes Montague (aka an avatar of the desolation and Jesus-like figure for the cult of the lightless flame) So Unless Celia is secretly Agnes of Agnes reincarnated , I can't find any way to link Barnabas to Celia. (if anyone has a theory feel free to send it my way.)

Sam Lore- this one is pretty minor story-wise but I thought it was interesting. Before the statement for the episode is presented we get some classic Sam and Alice Banter ™ most of it is pretty lighthearted but I noticed Sam mention something that could indicate he might be an amputee.

These could not mean anything and I find it weird that it hasn't been mentioned until now but thought it was kind of cool and I will probably be drawing sam with a prothetic leg in the future cause I really like this head-canon. It also begs to question if he is missing a leg. it might have anything to do with his past as a Magnus institute test subject but then again could just be a fun character detail added by Jonny and/or Alex .

The Statement- Getting into the statement we get another Ink5oul appearance. Also possible Ink5oul identifying as she/they. (and lets be honest being a fear avatar is pretty non binary core). I found this Episode gave me a feeling of a hybrid between the Vast, Buried and the Flesh some people are theorizing that is might be a new entity called the Deep but I think that the fear of the ocean could easily apply to the vast or buried. Not much to say about this story though pretty standard Magnus horror that also gave us a hint to what Ink5oul's goal could be/which entity they serve.

Post Bonzo- Gwen has a debrief with Lena after her first Externals Liason assignment and her meeting with Mr. Bonzo. Undoubtedly Gwen is still pretty shaken from her encounter, even arriving late to work due to sleeplessness. Gwen is able to ask Lena a few questions mainly she wanted to know who's name was written on the letter given to Bonzo

Lena is largely unhelpful but tells Gwen she should have worked it out by now and if not to pay close attention to the case load for the next couple of days. before the latest episode my guess was Klaus because that is the only person mentioned so far that the OIAR intends to kill. but more on that later

Marked- Now were getting to my favorite thing about this episode. This episode title can have two meanings. The first is the more literal interpretation. Tattoos are marking of the body and the case this episode was all about tattoos so easily a good name would be marked. But I believe this is a red herring meant to misguide listeners who have not consumed all 200 episodes of TMA because if you know the world of Magnus Archives the term Marked takes on a entirely different meaning.

In TMA the term marked is used to indicate that somebody has been influenced by one or more or the fears and are one their way to becoming an Avatar. I think this could be a coded way to tell the audience someone in the OIAR has been marked. I have two potential candidates

Alice Dyer- Alice has been having dreams about the Institute after her and Sam's adventure into the ruins. also she mentions feeling like someone's watching her (common to people influenced or fed upon by the Ceaseless Watcher/The Eye) My guess if she is marked it would be by the Eye.

Gwendolyn Bouchard: Probably the most likely culprit. The main way an entitly tends to mark people is through encounters with other avatars. Gwen has just had an encounter with Mr Bonzo last episode who I strongly believe must be an avatar of some sort.

What Happened in Episode 12: Getting Off

Aww Sam!!- Sam asked Celia out and it was adorably awkward. not much to say I just loved this interaction and I'm longing for a new Magnus brand office romance hopefully is wont be an agonizing slowburn that ends tragically like a certain pair of morons from Archives (I love you Jon and Martin but Jesus christ)

It's Bonzo time bitches!!- Probably one of the most gruesome Magnus statement I've ever listened to (good work Alex) Mr Bonzo completely annihilated some poor dude at his bachelor party. Based on the date of the Incident the I can confidently say that whoever Baz (the groom) was he was our mystery person the OIAR sent Mr Bonzo to get rid of. Along with some of the bloodiest imagery we learned a few things about Bonzo. The most interesting detail is that Bonzo has to be summoned by playing his theme song I think the CD of his theme song acts somewhat like the tapes did in TMA by materialising out of nowhere. Also fun fact you know that torn seam that is right down Bonzo's middle? that is actually is his mouth lined with rows sharp teeth so I guess I know that now (so fun) Moral of the story dont f*ck with Mr. Bonzo

Alice knows something: Theres been this recurring audio glitch throughout TMAGP thatnks to a few extremly observent fans we have started to relize that these glitches are not at all random and are actually letting the audience know when a character is lying (i actually reposted somones deepdive into all the istances of this glitch so far if you guys are intrested in knowing more) why i bring this up now is becuase since we know when any charater is lying we also know when they are being truthful if there is no glitch when they say somthing and at the end of this episode this interaction occurs

Alice goes ahead and makes a joke about this to annoy Gwen but the fact theres no audio glitch when she says "I know" means she does actually know who is behind the OIAR and is activly refusing to share it with Gwen or the others. What do you know Alice!?

and that's about it im already loving these next batch of episodes and am so excited to learn more (ERROR has to show up somtime )

a/n: I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT CANDY POP WAIT omg he's one of those creepypastas that i heard about but never really looked into so. first time writing him so i hope i did him justice for you! i wasn't sure if you wanted something more lighthearted or something darker so i did my best to keep it balanced.

LJ and Candy Pop sharing a fem!reader.

warnings: my knowledge of candy pop comes from the creepypasta files wiki page so just a heads up if i get something wrong, opted to make reader a creepypasta here but it's very vague, lj and candy pop are like frenemies in this i suppose, sorta hints that the reader might've been forced into this relationship, my hand slipped and i dropped a 'good girl' in here somewhere i couldn't help myself, possessive behavior from both of them, implied unhealthy relationship.

Man, what's it like having a 7ft tall imaginary monochrome clown that terrorizes children and a 7ft tall colorful Night Terrors possessed jester be in love with you? It's probably a strange experience.

They both argue over who caught feelings for you first. LJ swears up and down that he fell for you first, but Candy Pop claims it to be love at first sight. Honestly, you've just chosen to believe that they both fell for you around the same time.

The two of them were definitely hesitant to share you, though that was more on Candy Pop's side than it was LJ's. Listen, sharing a body/soul with the literal demon king makes you a bit possessive over things, okay?

You don't particularly mind either way, to be honest. They're both a bit... much to handle at times, but you guys make it work. Like... literally. You had to plan out an entire schedule and everything because they kept bickering about how much time the other spent with you.

LJ gets you on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays while Candy Pop gets you on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Sundays are days you spend alone because it's always good to have some time for yourself.

Of course, they don't... follow the schedule that often. Why would they? They aren't confined to the mortal chains of schedules.

They are both equally romantic in their own right, and you won't lie, you certainly have enjoyed a few of the spontaneous dates they've taken you on. Sometimes, they'll even get together long enough to plan out an outing for all three of you. They can get along, see?

Now, we can't forget that they are both murderous entities. One is an imaginary friend turned serial killer and the other is... something. A demon? A poor possessed soul of a jester? Whatever he is, he's deadly. Shall I provide some examples?

Example one: Laughing Jack was abandoned by the one person he was created to befriend, so trust me when I tell you that he has some deeply rooted abandonment issues. He's all fun and games until there's even the slightest possibility of you leaving him. Even if someone makes an offhand remark about how you should leave him, his entire persona does a complete 180.

Suddenly, his hold on you is just a bit more tighter than it normally is, and you can feel his nails digging into your skin, threatening to draw blood. It's a subtle, silent threat of what he could do to you if you ever tried leaving him.

Example two: Candy Pop, as a whole, is somebody you have to be wary around because his mood can flip like a switch. He'll be happily humming away about some random topic one moment, and the next he's pushing you up against a nearby wall and looking at you with such a crazed look that it's almost hard to believe that this is the same person who claims to be in love with you.

He's the type to remind you of where you belong. You belong by his and LJ's side, so don't you ever forget that, okay? You really don't want to see what'll happen if you do.

In the end, though LJ and Candy Pop have a habit of bickering with each other, they'll make one hell of a team if it means keeping you in their grasp. You don't fit with anyone but them, and you don't need to fit with anyone other than them. They're the perfect match for you, and you'll come to see that sooner or later. So, all you need to do is be a good girl and stay by their side, got it?

It's Sunday. Sundays are supposed to be your day. You had plans to hang out with the other girls, maybe even play dress up with Sally if she was up for it. So, why the hell were you currently stuck in bed, sandwiched between a clown and a jester?

You have no clue because you just woke up and they were already here. Sure, you could just… wiggle your way out of bed but then they would wake up. Do they even need to sleep? They aren't mortal like you are, so sleep doesn't seem like a necessity to them. But it's not like you can just stay in bed all day either. You had things you wanted to do!

So, with a very silent sigh, you slowly start to sit up, untangling yourself from the mass of limbs trapping you to your bed. You were able to sit up with relative ease, the hard part would be crawling over either LJ or Candy Pop to get out of bed. That would be… that would be difficult.

Even if you were to try and crawl over one of them, you weren't able to because before you could even decide which one to crawl over, you were being pushed back into laying down again by Candy Pop.

You let out a small 'oof' as soon as your back hit the mattress.

"Where do you think you're going?" You hear LJ ask, and with one quick glance at him, you can see a slight pout on his face. It was almost enough to make you forget about the feeling of his nails gently grazing your stomach.

If he just decided to dig them into your--

"She's not going anywhere." Candy's voice murmurs directly next to your ear, effectively cutting off your train of thought. You only belatedly realize that he had buried his face into your neck, his hair brushing against your face, "Right, angel?"

Well… it seems like you're not going to be getting rid of these two today, so whatever plans you had for the day were going to have to be put on hold until next Sunday. You just hoped the two of them didn't make a habit of this.

Well, as the title suggests, I am turning 22 on January 30th (yes I can't believe it either), and it's a very very special number to me, I was obsessed with it since I was a kid—because of Taylor Swift's 22 of course (you have no idea how happy my inner child is now!).

However, I thought I should celebrate this very important event with you by hosting my second sleepover! (honestly I was planning to make this a double sleepover if I hit 300 followers before my birthday, but since I didn't, I really had to host a sleepover)

I shouldn’t have to say that but the internet’s favorite pastime now is spontaneously deciding to make some random civilian’s life miserable for a minor misstep and it’s a fucked up thing to do. yes plagiarism is bad but frankly while the original clipart was obviously traced, that ship sailed over a decade ago and I don’t blame everyone for using this wolf silhouette because you have to go out of your way to avoid it at this point if you’re searching for free clipart. this is meant to be funny and lighthearted.

now, with that out of the way.

nobody asked for this but I need something to occupy my brain and the notes aren’t really slowing down on that post (this is what I’m referencing btw) and I’ve seen a few people questioning my claims that it’s all the same wolf silhouette and that the original is a still from the anime Wolf’s Rain. I also really enjoy when people find this bastard in weird places and want to make it easier. so I’m doing that. in a style flagrantly stolen from mcmansionhell, which I think is fitting given the subject matter of shameless plagiarism. to start, here’s one of the cleanest/most exemplary instances I could find, broken down. There’s some variation in rotation, nose shape, and scruff distribution, but it all basically averages out to this:

further analysis, examples, and deranged ranting under the cut!

not all of these details will be present in every instance of Lumpy Kiba (especially in smaller examples or jewelry where a lot of detail is lost), but more than 2-3 together with the same pose and you’ve got a set of weirdly specific anatomical issues that are unlikely to all occur naturally together unless someone is referencing an already badly-rendered wolf instead of a photo. The most consistent and noticeable feature of Lumpy Kiba is those hind legs, with their dangerously pointy hocks and very long and concave metatarsals, but the tail position, nose shape, and pronounced shoulder bump are also strong indicators.

 for reference, here’s a photo of a real wolf in a similar pose. note the very rounded hocks and overall lack of lumps.

when you find a wolf silhouette clipart that ISN’T Lumpy Kiba, it won’t necessarily have perfect anatomy but it will have a lot more in common with the photo, like this dude

Wolves That Are Lumpy, But Not Kiba

stylizing is a thing though, and on rare occasions you WILL find a howling wolf silhouette that resembles neither a real wolf nor Lumpy Kiba. it was surprisingly hard to find ones that weren’t just “Lumpy Kiba but severely warped/altered” (I’ll get to those in a minute) but these were the two clearest examples I could find that are definitely not Lumpy Kiba or derived from him:

there are of course more differences than what I’ve pointed out, but those were the key points I used to pick them out from the ‘howling wolf silhouette’ image search.

Weird/Hard To Identify Examples

in my digging around for example images for this post, I came across not only a staggering amount of Lumpy Kiba at every turn, but some that I initially thought were doing their own thing that, on further examination, were clearly referenced from Lumpy Kiba with some “you can copy my homework, but change it a little so the teacher doesn’t notice” slapped on. unfortunately the defining characteristics of Lumpy Kiba are so glaring and distinctive that if you use him as your only reference, it’s GOING to be noticeable. this, by the way, is why if you’re learning anatomy you NEED to reference photos (and real life if you can) instead of other peoples’ drawings. everyone stylizes, everyone has strengths and weaknesses, and weird things happen when you just copy another artist instead of actually learning what an animal looks like.

(this, incidentally, is the whole problem with Lumpy Kiba in the first place, but I’ll get to that)

here’s two that most likely weren’t traced, but the artist definitely referenced Lumpy Kiba exclusively

also two particularly weird examples that barely qualify as Lumpy Kiba, but which both were undeniably shaped by his influence. the first one being this unholy frankenwolf that uses components from Lumpy Kiba but also apparently a few other wolf silhouettes:

and if you thought we were done with that youtuber “tribal wolf tattoo” guy, I found someone who made a truly next-level copy of his slightly distorted trace of a moderately shitty vector of an anime screenshot. even after that game of visual telephone, the Lumpy Kiba telltale signs are still present. if anything, they’re in their purest form here, because not one single person in this chain ever looked at a photo of an actual wolf.

I'm so on board for more lighthearted Luke content to warm our hearts, it's what he deserves🤝🏻

Also I veered into kinda new territory for me; while many of these take place in the Star Wars universe as normal, I included some modern day AU ones too

• the Jedi are taught to take extra care of their clothing and appearance because whenever they're out and about they take on a mostly representative role, whether they want to or not

• this also includes learning how to correctly mend and take care of their belongings

• I don't think that this was at the very front of Luke's education though, Obi-Wan and Yoda really had more pressing conditions to work with

• however, as everyone can clearly see, nobody had to specifically tell Luke about this

• (just look at the man)

• not only did he grow up with maybe one (1) relatively good fitting outfit, I'm also sure that because of this he was taught how to fix holes and re do seams as well as sewing his buttons back on himself

• I'm even convinced he's able to make a simple pair of pants and a shirt from scratch should it be really necessary

• something about the picture of you and Luke sitting together on a warm summer evening or during a winter night and you watching him silently working away is just the peak of domesticity

• he enjoys fixing clothes, especially if by doing so he can do a favor to those he loves

• I think in a way it calms him too

• he'd definitely help out his Padawans with it as well

• I firmly believe he owns a small sewing kit, complete with a thimble

• (maybe two: one he's actually using and a second hand made one out of porcelain because he thinks it's really pretty)

• maybe, in addition and if he has the time, he'd try out similar activities like crocheting, knitting, stitching, etc.

• I don't think he'd be very good at it but everything he crafts is made with love and there is no one around who doesn't appreciate his efforts

• imagine him knitting little socks and hats and scarves for all of his students

• for some reason he really struggles with online tutorials though

• they're always going too fast, he can't see what exactly it is they're showing, and often times they're just overcomplicating really simple steps

• he finds this to be very frustrating

• he probably uses a very (very!) old fashioned book to learn instead

• its margins are full of scribbles of its previous owners and Luke adds his own

• he draws smiley faces next to the patterns he likes most

• Luke is a DIY king

• something that really comes in handy as a Jedi master

• at the very beginning, just at the start of his own academy, he definitely did most of the occurring tasks himself, also including preparing the meals for everyone

• he's a decent cook but I think he'd get really into baking

• baking bread is one of his favorite free time activities

• my sister insists upon the fact that he'd make the absolute best focaccia

• (or its Star Wars equivalent at least)

• he really likes trying out new recipes, especially those he never heard about before

• with varying degrees of success, as some of them are not meant to be made by humans

• but worry not, nothing is getting wasted

• Luke's collection of little fish friends is always happy to eat the remaining crumbs

• he has special outfits for his training sessions, including many different shoes

• depending on what or where it is he's practicing, he chooses them carefully

• he's still wonderfully emphathetic and caring when you're sick but like, only from very far away

• he'll refuse to come near you if you so much as mention you're not feeling well

• if you have to sneeze or cough even a little bit he's immediately asking whether you've fallen ill or are about to

• just say you feel like you're getting a cold and he's on retreat immediately

• he can't get sick as well!

• he's working with children!!!

• at least one of them is always sick anyways, he can't be contagious under any circumstances!

• and while he does enjoy the calm and quiet, he's mostly used to being the center of bustling activities

• I see him taking lots and lots of Buzzfeed quizzes

• he texts you about every single result

• one of his first ones was about what kind of animal he'd be and he absolutely hated the outcome

• he eventually ended up making his own quiz because of it

• he likes watching you play video games more than playing them himself

• it's very relaxing to him, especially after a long day at work

• plus he gets to hold you extra close under the pretense of being very interested to see what's going on on screen

• he dozes off pretty quickly though

• while he's happy to let you play whatever you want, I think he has his favorites as well

• he loves when you show him your town or island, how you decorated your house and which villagers you're best friends with

• he too would have the newest game, simply because you were missing a few items and he was determined to get them for you

• it would totally escalate during quarantine though, and suddenly he'd have a fully decorated five star island

I’ll give you a lil of everything so you have options, hehehe. (And if anyone else wants to give these ideas a shot, to write or to draw, go ahead! I probably won’t write these. Just please credit me if you do anything with these prompts!)

Lee!Papyrus Prompts:

(Someone of your choice) wants to ‘test something’ on papyrus. So he, gullibly and eagerly, holds still and allows them to.

Sans wonders if after all these years Pap is still ticklish. He has a plan to catch him off guard.

During Papyrus’ first cooking lesson with Toriel, he seems to be taking it too seriously and gets discouraged and stressed. Luckily, Toriel knows how to show him that cooking can be a lighthearted, non-stress hobby.

Sans has a stressful day, and Papyrus’ laugh improves his mood. He decides to use him as a stress toy.

On the surface, Papyrus experiences a thunderstorm for the first time, and is deathly terrified. Frisk shows him there’s nothing to worry about with a few tickles.

(Someone of your choice that isn’t sans) touches Papyrus’ exposed spine, curious of how the bones feel. His squeak raises some questions.

Frisk wants to show Papyrus their special attack.

Sans discovers that Papyrus makes funny noises when he’s tickled for long periods of time, such as snorts, squeaks, screeches and others. They cause him to laugh, too, so both of them are laughing happily.

Papyrus has the hiccups. (Someone of your choice) knows how to get them to stop.

Papyrus claims he’s too old for a bedtime story to try to be tougher. (He’s determined to be tougher to join the royal guard.) Sans takes this as an opportunity to mess with him and ‘cries’ into his shoulder that ‘he’s sad that he’s not his little brother anymore’ (just makes goofy sobbing noises and nuzzles his face into his shoulder and neck) until Papyrus admits he’s wanted a story the whole time

Papyrus detests that Sans calls him a goofball in front of their friends. Sans wants to prove to them how dorky his little brother is.

Papyrus is crying in his room, secretly thinking he’s a failure. Sans comes in to comfort him and cheer him up.

Child!Papyrus falls down and gets hurt. He begins to cry, but Child!Sans hates to see him cry and quickly tickles him to get him to laugh instead and forget the pain.

For once, Papyrus has a nightmare where he loses Sans. He needs physical comfort from his brother, but Sans takes it to another level.

Child!Papyrus is eager for Santa to come, and won’t go to sleep. (Older Child, maybe Teenage?) Sans has to get him to sleep somehow.

Papyrus comments on how fluffy and soft Toriel’s fur is after a good hug. Toriel can’t resist.

Frisk gets a random call from papyrus. Turns out he accidentally called them while in a tussle with Undyne. Frisk hears him get the hell tickled out of him. Papyrus realizes all too late that frisk has been listening in.

Undyne sneak attack tickles Papyrus in public, leading to embarrassment.

(Character(s) of your choice) find out how badly tickle teases and baby talk make Papyrus falter.

Sans remembers fondly of how he used to make Papyrus anticipate his tickles. It still works.

After all these years, papyrus is still scared of the tickle monster.

Papyrus gets raspberries from someone who isn’t sans (has lips and lungs) and realizes how different it feels. He goes into hysterics.

Sans can’t resist the fact that his goofy brother fell asleep with one arm over his head. He tickles him in his sleep and melts over his sleep-giggles.

Ler!Papyrus Prompts:

Sans reminisces on how Papyrus used to be smaller than Frisk. Papyrus becomes irritated and lifts Sans up, tickling him in mid air.

Papyrus loves to squeeze the squishy, ticklish human!

Sans wants to go out to Grillby’s. Papyrus has his ways of getting sans to stay home and eat with him.

Sans is having a nightmare. Papyrus gently tickles him in his sleep to make him calm down.

Papyrus is a hungry tickle monster. Frisk had better watch out!

Frisk is curious of how sans and papyrus can breathe air despite not having lungs. Papyrus eagerly shows them through raspberries.

Papyrus is curious of the human’s appendages that he doesn’t have. (Ears, stomach, cheeks). He decides to investigate.

Papyrus just wants to hear his brother laugh.

Undyne needs a good reason as to why she should let papyrus join the royal guard. He has a convincing strategy.

Papyrus is on a ticklish rampage, wanting to ‘spar’ his friends with tickles. (Lee(s) of your choice)

Sans won’t help and do housework with papyrus, so he’ll just have to make him.

(Character of your choice) is on the verge of tears. Luckily, the great papyrus is a master at comfort!

Sans is falling asleep at his sentry station… what better way to wake someone up than to give them a few tickles?

(Character of your choice) realizes Papyrus’ scarf tickles their neck when he hugs them. That gives Papyrus inspiration.

(Character of your choice) starts a tickle fight with papyrus. When he takes his gloves off.. they know he means business and is determined to win.

Papyrus discovers Undyne is ticklish. She can’t summon her green attack (or about 100 spears) fast enough.

Papyrus chases a very eager and very ticklish frisk on a high speed chase around the house!

Undyne has a sore spot on the back of her neck from training. Papyrus offers to (platonically) massage it out for her. He soon realizes the reason for her squirming.

Papyrus has a feather duster that was used to clean Sans’ dusty room one second… and used to clean Sans the next.

Sans, frisk and Papyrus all compare hand sizes. The fact that Papyrus’ are so much larger gives him an idea.

Frisk is crying, which causes papyrus to lift them up and comfort them. After they’ve calmed, their vulnerable position gives papyrus an idea.

Sans is asleep, papyrus gets a childish sense of mischief, deciding to sneak attack his brother with a raspberry through his shirt. His belly laughs are so worth it, even if sans gets a little annoyed.

Teen!Sans has a birthday present for Child!Papyrus. The little guy won’t back down until sans lets him open it early.

An annoyed Papyrus prods at a very drunk Sans in Grillby’s, not expecting him to be ticklish there. Sans becomes giggly, accidentally causing a scene.

Switch!Papyrus Prompts (more than one lee/ler)

Sans and Papyrus go to a human doctor for the first time. They didn’t expect check ups to tickle so much!

Asgore is trimming that hedge in the shape of Papyrus’ smile… but needs him to model and hold still. Sans just happens to stroll by… and make that very difficult. Papyrus gets distracted… and eventually retaliates on sans, forgetting about the hedge. Asgore has to break them both up in the tickliest way possible.

Sans is bored while Papyrus is watching MTT, and so he begins to crack jokes during the commercial break to annoy his little brother. Annoyed, Papyrus tickles Sans until the commercials are over. But the moment the show comes back on, Sans lunges at Papyrus. Soon, the show is long forgotten.

Neither Sans or Papyrus are tired one night. Sans, feeling mischevious, begins to tickle Papyrus’ neck. It eventually devolves into them chasing each other around the house, taking each other to the ground with tickles.

Papyrus and Sans do the ‘try not to laugh’ competition.

At a sleepover between Papyrus and (character(s) of your choice), tickle antics unfold.

Frisk is confused about Papyrus’ bones, Papyrus is confused about Frisk’s skin. Antics ensue.

That annoying dog, always getting into the brothers’ house!

Sans picks on Papyrus for his squeal, Papyrus picks on Sans for his snort.

Undyne and Papyrus’ once tactical but playful spar slowly devolves into a very determined tickle fight.

Papyrus wants to find Frisk’s tickle spots, but frisk is just as curious, and eventually retaliates.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

🦋- Shinobu likes to cuddle but she’s just so busy so she almost never has time to. When she does have time to cuddle then she will usually wanna be the big spoon.

🦋- She wants to feel like she can wrap her arms around you and protect you. When she’s in her more soft mood then she will be the small spoon.

🦋- She likes the feeling of your arms wrapping around her, she feels very safe and loved.

🦋- If you ask her to cuddle she might tease you a little, but it’s extremely lighthearted since she would never wanna make you afraid to ask her for cuddles

🦋- You two often cuddle when you two are going to bed, when Shinobu is done with her work, when she is tired or you or when you two have a day off.

🦋- I feel like she likes spooning, when you two lay face to face on your side and hug eachother, legs entangled with one another. She likes to see your face and give it some kisses.

🦋- Another cuddling position she likes that doesn’t happen as often as the other two is just when she can lay on your chest and you can draw patterns on her back or just wrap your arms around her.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

🦋- Very protective. She tries to never overstep any boundries but so etimes she really can’t help it

🦋- It doesn’t really matter if you’re a demon slayer or a citizen, she’ll be protective of you anyways

🦋- Since you’re a demon slayer maybe you can get hurt by demons and if you’re a citizen…you can still get hurt by demons. Guess there’s no escaping getting hurt by demons.

🦋- Usually when you go out at night Shinobu will accompany you no matter what. It’s like Shinobu has a sitxth sense or something. When she has a feeling you’ll go out at night for whatever reason it’s like she just drops everything and bolts to you.

🦋- Of course demons are not the only threat, people are too.

🦋- If you ever stumble to a suspicious person Shinobu becomes very wary and if that person is starting to bother you then Shinobu will take action.

🦋- It usually starts with warning the person to back off and leave you two alone but if the situation escalates then Shinobu will pin the person down or something along the lines of that.

🦋- But when she protects you from a demon? She is way more brutal.

🦋- She will use one of her most deadliest and painful poison on the demon making sure it suffers greatly for even thinking about hurting you. Doesn’t matter if you’re a demon slayer or cotizen as said, that demon will feel PAIN.

🦋-Shinobu likes to be protected when she knows she couldn’t have handle it herself. Let’s say a very quick demon snuck up on her and was about to stab her, she would really appreciate it if you came in and protected her. It would save her alot of troubles and possibly death

🦋- Like said people can be a threat too and when push comes to shove and a fight is about to break out, Shinobu could use some help👍

🦋- Usually she says that she does not condone violence but sometimes it’s necessary in a very wise tone but you can see through her. You know she would do it again any day in the week, after all, putting people in their places is one of her favorite things to do.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

🦋- Ok this one might be too common of a headcannon or you’ve probably seen it many times before

🦋- But I have a feeling she loves singing. Like just quietly sing to herself, the song usually has a more sentimental meaning behind it since it’s the songs that her sister would sing to her but other than that she loves to sing

🦋- Don’t get your hopes up though, it’s not likely she’ll be willing to sing in front of you. Mostly because it’s embarrassing for her. Don’t try to eavesdrop on her either, she’ll know.

🦋- But she will sing for you if you’re having a rough day or when she just feels softer y’know?

🦋- She’ll most likely sing for the triplets. So if you’re lucky, you’ll find her singing a song to the triplets, Shinobu knows you're there and will send you a wink or a wave.

🦋- Ok I know what I said earlier that it’s not likely for her to sing in front of you but that’s like in the early months of your relationship. As the time passes by I can see her being more confident in singing in front of you.

🦋- Shinobu LOVES late night conversation

🦋- It’s when everyone’s asleep and she doesn’t have to work anymore which means she can talk to you about whatever she wants

🦋- Shinobu also feels a little but more like herself since she can talk about the subjects she loves! Of course she will let you talk about subjects you like too. But for her, it can get tiring talking about medical stuff all the times so it’s nice when she can talk about insects (I hc she loves insects too) or different flowers and their meanings.

🦋- But late night conversation can turn deep or it turns into her venting to you, of course with your consent.

🦋- Shinobu just knows she can talk about deep personal stuff with you because you won’t judge her or anything like that

🦋- It’s also the times when she can talk about her sister and the memories she has of her.

🦋- Usually it ends with you two cuddling and Shinobu crying.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

🦋- Shinobu is the type to in her sleep cuddle up to you in the night and when you point it out to her in the morning she will deny it. Even if the covers are over her body it’s like she feels incompleate without your warmth so she will begin to move towards you and cuddle to your warm body.

Depending on who she's with there is more or less lighthearted ranting, cos once you're conspiring and talking shit with someone about it, whatever was so bad that day feels half as big.

If it was something that's genuinely upsetting and taking up a lot of brain space, she'll often retreat and vent by drawing, just to get it out of her system and untangle everything, at least a little. If it's something that causes frustration or pent up energy of some sort, she needs noise and people and action.

bonus hcs? bonus hcs! nothing too important, hence why they aren’t gonna get their own posts, but. here, anyway!

1. okay, but a small worldbuild-y related hc i have is, the dark world titles for things such as their royalty, knights, etc etc, are different then what they were in the light world! i generally use the normal terms™ in hcs and ooc posts, just for sake of not confusing tf outta ppl, but i did wanna at least list some of the differences just bc i think it’s neat!

* duke/duchess = dusk! * princess/prince = twilight! * majesty/king/queen = midnight!

* knights = hypernova (or ‘novas‘)! * page = protostar (or ‘protos‘)! * royal advisor = aurora! * squire = pulsar!

* the knight’s guild is called a ‘constellation’ * the royal court is called a ‘solar system’, * instead of kingdom(s), it’s a ‘cosmos‘

* the dark world = the eventides, (also: ‘the dark world’ + ‘the underworld’, sometimes!) * the light world = the meridies,  (also: ‘the light world’ + ‘the overworld’, sometimes!)

for example, ralsei would be referred to as ‘your twilight‘ or the ‘twilight of hearts‘, or if you just wanted to be really extra, it’d be ‘the twilight of hearts and the cosmos of hope‘. (but, that last one def isn’t used in normal/casual conversation tho, so dw, asdfghjkl) or, post-game, going off my hc rals ends up becoming lancer’s royal adviser, he’d be referred 2 as ‘the royal aurora’, or ‘the spades aurora’.

for another more modern example tho, once lancer becomes king, he would generally be called, ‘the midnight of spades‘, or ‘the midnight of the spades cosmos‘! they lost the ‘the cosmos of hope‘ part, due to that part of their history being erased by the knight those many years ago. it’s instead been replaced with the title of their suit.

2. your random world-buildy hc of the day is once upon a time, before their connection was severed, lightners were capable of summoning darkners, often to trade goods, or strike some of deal. there was a more general summoning ritual, and. then there was a more personal one that varied from darkner to darkner, if you wanted 2 talk to s/b in particular, y'know?

along w/ that, you could ‘call’ a darkner so 2 speak through a mirror, by drawing a symbol specific to them on it’s surface. the symbol itself was usually given by the darkner after some sort of trust has formed– think of it as just. a really weird phone number, basically! lmao………..

but, like i said, post-knight’s attack, this isn’t practiced anymore, modern darkners having no real memories of the old kingdom in general, and modern lightners don’t even know the dark exists.

so, the only one who remembers it is ralsei (assumingly), the forgotten prince who can never forget and all that, and. listen, he’s so not above teaching kris + susie how 2 summon him/ call him, so they can hang out/talk even if they can’t visit!

is he gonna come to regret it? probs a little, but only in a lighthearted way, he just cares his friends, ok! 🥺 also, bonus, if you’re wondering:

and, his call symbol is rune-esque, the main shape/design being a heart and skull jumbled together, along with some small flourishes.

3. this is 100% just 4 fun and not for anything important, but i wanted to talk abt ralsei’s garden a little bc its s/t hes v proud of, and gardening/floriography is something he’s v knowing of, so. in particular, i wanted 2 talk about the type of flora he actually grows/takes care of! because idk i thought it’d be inte -resting, so here we go, we going on an garden adventure today bois…

so, they’re generally on the spooky side, either poisonous, or are ‘dangerous’ in some way, or just looks/smells/acts kinda weird. y’kno, like venus fly traps,   pitchers, plants that naturally smell like death and rotten meat, that look like they’re seeping blood, with thorns and teeth, and moving eyes. such as, the!–

* white baneberry (doll’s eyes), venus flytrap/pitcher plant, sanguinaria (blood root), voodoo lily/corpse lily, deadly nightshade, water hemlock/poison hemlock, * hydnellum peckii (bleeding hydnellum), monotropa uniflora (ghost plant), solanum atropurpureum (purple devil), giant hogweeds (aconitum), * aconitum (wolfsbane), sarcodes (snowplant), etc etc!

but, he does grow some more ‘normal’ plants too, mostly herbs/ spices for cooking, potions/magic stuffs, sometimes both, etc etc (if baking magic isn’t a thing he’s officially making it a thing!) but, tl;dr, stuff like sage, rosemary, basil, etc etc, that sorta stuff!

along w/ that he does grow some things like red roses! which are a particular favorite of his. (but, well. he likes the thorns, not the flowers themselves, so he tends to snip the flowery bits off, using them for s/t else like tea or baking. so i guess really, rose thorns are his favorite.) other more ‘normal’ favorites of his are forget-me-nots, and lilacs.  

and ofc he does also? grow some fictional weird dark world plants. i don’t particularly have any names for any specific ones, but. you know, plants that glow and changes colors, plants that can sing and whistle, etc etc. it’s how u say… an aesthetic™!

4. ralsei’s native tongue was something spoken those thousand years ago, something that is now considered a dead language, and, is basically a darkner equivalent to the light world’s latin!

they called it ’umbatnra’, it sounded like a mix between a germanic language, and a romance language, an audible contradiction, if u will! hard k’s and ch’s, ‘harsher’ sounds from the back of the throat, but @ the same time, rolled r’s, softer vowels, an almost musical sound to its pronunciation, too. other then ralsei, there’s no longer any native speakers of the language, simply lost to time like a lot of early darkner history, which was, ofc, the knight’s doing.

while in canon, the language is it’s own fleshed out thing, with its own alphabet and grammar if/when ralsei speaks in umbatnra on this blog, the way i’ll write it is by using words and phrases from latin (and a few other languages), but anagram-ed, just for simplicity’s sake, ok, lmao

so, for example, the phrase ’i wish to one day go visit and see the vatican city!‘ in latin would be something like : ’mihi libet olim civitatem vaticanam visere!’ and, in umbatnra that would be: ’bil elohim timi camencirta stimaetive viva!’, etc etc.

5. a cute little hc: ralsei tends to call everyone general pet names,  ‘dear, darling, sweetheart’, etc etc. but there’s a few he only uses with his partners or crushes, the main one being ‘(my) dearest’. 

6. thinkin abt moony's titles/different names again, bc i remembered the other ones finally, changed a few, so uhhh. updated list + the reasons!

>'the twilight of hearts and the cosmos of hope' aka his full royal title >'the witness of dernow-elthds' being in reference to the attack, and him being the sole survivor of the royal family, etc etc, and all that stuff. >'the siren of the scarlet forest' bc pre-gang showing up, ppl thought the world behind the great doors laid empty, but sometimes: they'd hear s/b singing. >'elrallor' which is his "true name", basically, it's used for mostly summoning purposes, and basically means "prince of the under -world/protector of the dead" when translated from umbatnra. >'the mourning star' the legends sometimes refer to him as this, the knight commonly uses this name for him, it’s meant to sound like 'morning star'.

7. do yall want a silly funfact abt ralsei? -- he doesn’t full-on laugh a lot, because he’s actually embarrassed of his laugh, so he tends to stick to just giggles and stuff. what’s his legit laugh sound like, though? well.

Hello! I’ve been reading your work for a long time now, and I have to compliment you, my good sir! Every chapter I read feels like an episode of a tv show, and your characterization and world building is absolutely extraordinary! I can tell how much love and care you put into the characters, it’s absolutely beautiful. I’m instantly hooked on the magic system, in-world politics, and of course the romance <3. How you manage to outdo yourself and impress readers is absolutely amazing. The way you write each point of view helps clue me in on who’s speaking before names are said, which isn’t something most authors have mastered. I kid you not, I am constantly theorizing and wondering what will happen next.

The way you described how magic in the fae realm and the Court operates makes me wonder what exactly lies ahead for Scar and Tubbo. Plus, I ADORE their father-son relationship! Scar is definitely the kind of father he hopes to be, because he goes above and beyond for Tubbo, putting his safety and well-being above all else while taking the time to actually listen to his wants!

The Watchers plot is extremely good, I can’t get enough of their mysterious nature, and it occurs to us how little we actually know about them because all we’ve had to base their motives around are books and word-of-mouth. The way you write Grian’s trauma and religious trauma just strikes me deep in the soul because I know how horrible stuff like that can be. Poor Grian!

And Mumbo coming to terms with his past and keeping his mates and family safe from those who still want to harm them is so sweet and courageous. (Also, Tubbo and the spider has GOT to be one of my favorite random side-plots. It’s so lighthearted!)

Ouran High School Host Club- AU

I made this piece for my friend, Andi! I don’t know if he has a tumblr, but this is for you man :))

(Also sorry if this sounds rushed/awkward, I haven’t watched ouran in a good while!)

I decided to write andi in as Haruhi, since I associate them with Haruhi a lot.

Andi sighed, stretching their arms and exiting an apartment shared with their parents.

Today would mark a day at a new school. A rich kid school. Hell, they had to wear a suit! (Not that he was complaining, suits are cool.) Their usual morning routine became stricter with school, up early, dressed and cleaned, ready and prepped.

They thought of what was to come today.

Ouran Academy, the school of the filthy rich, was where they were attending.

Andi straightened their tie before running out the door.

…

The occasional exhaustion and excitement that came with the first day of school ending meshed together as Andi wandered the halls.

I’ll just get home a bit later. Maybe I can draw or something for awhile to calm myself down.

They would’ve gone to the library if they knew where it was, but for now they settled with finding any old empty room to allow them to relax.

“Music room 3… 3’s a good number.”

They opened the heavy door, rose petals whooshing past their face.

“Welcome to the host club!” Several cheery voices ringed out, “Why hello, your highness.”

A handsome guy with blonde hair gifted Andi’s hand a kiss, two salmon haired boys snickered to each other while a few others stood back.

Why the sudden touch? Who are these guys?

“The.. Host Club?”

Hosts are those guys that flirt with people if they pay them, right? But you can’t really have people pay you to be in a school club, is it different here?

“We profit off of our sales on merchandise. Do not worry, we haven’t publicly broken any regulations.” A male with dark hair and glasses spoke up, almost sensing Andi’s worries immediately.

He gives off a creepy vibe.. shiver..

“If it isn’t a new person!” Two voices peeped up.

One of the salmon haired boys with his hair parted to the left spoke: “We’ve been looking for some fresh meat!”

“Huhh.. so what’s your name?” Another, with his hair parted to the right squints at Andi.

“Uhm- Andi. Hi.” They awkwardly do a little wave.

I should really get out of here-

They ended up bumping into the blonde,

“Ah- sorry!”

More people spoke of the apparent mistake they had made,

“Into the boss?”

“Wow, that’s practically property damage!”

“Could we get them to pay us for that?”

The blonde stumbled back to a door,

“My apologies! Mamaaa! Get some tea for the commoner!”

Andi never thought they’d spend the afternoon on the first day of school talking to a whole club of people. Especially the blonde,

“My name is Tamaki Suoh, but you can address me as your knight in shining armor! What brings you to Ouran Academy?”

It was actually rather enjoyable.

A kind senior, Honey (and his very tall bodyguard Mori) had offered a few sweets to Andi. He didn’t mind indulging in some treats after making sure they didn’t have to pay for the snacks

“Oh uh, thank you Honey! I’m here because of the scholarship. And an exam program..” they twirled with their fork as they took a bite out of Angel food cake.

Delicious, fluffy, wow.

“I’m glad you seem to be enjoying the cake!” Tamaki was very lighthearted and easy to talk to, along with being a bit dramatic and a dork. Not that there was any negatives to that.

Andi tried to finish up a bite, wanting to continue conversation. “Mhm!” They wiped frosting from the corner of their lip.

“You’ve got some charm to you, don’t you?”

That was random. Is this what it’s like to talk to hosts?

“I mean, I’m just some guy…”

“GUY? Those are dirty boy words!” Tamaki’s arms wiggled like spaghetti as he had a tantrum.

How the hell do I react to this? Should I laugh, should I apologize should I-

A set of familiar voices made their appearance yet again.

“Don’t worry, he’s usually more stupid when we don’t have as many guests.”

“Hope you’re not around to see that, it’s hard to handle!”

“Especially when he grows mushrooms!”

Mushrooms? I have no idea what they mean…

More controlled (?) chaos ensues, but eventually, the day had to close.

“Oh, it seems we talked for the whole meeting! Your company was so amazing, your highness.”

“Just Andi is fine. I’ll uhh, see you tomorrow?”

“I’ll have Kyoya email you our club schedules, if you’d like to see- me- us again.” Tamaki smiled, going to bid the other members of the host club goodbye.

“Yeah!” Andi scurried off, holding their bag close to him nervously.

‘Huh, I guess that was an interesting experience.’

Andi’s thoughts pestered them as he walked home, but behind doors of the host club more thoughts arose.

“Didn’t the boss seem off to you?” Hikaru questioned Kyoya.

“Hmm. Maybe so. We’ll see how it all works out.”

He may not notice the way you woke up with heavy breathing after a nightmare right away

Or the way you’re moving around

Or the fact you’re softly calling his name for him to wake up

But... well, there’s really no but’s

Yuji won’t wake up until you’re shaking him roughly by his arm

His blurry sight would only let him see yoir silhouette through the dark

But after a few seconds when his brain was a little more functional, Yuji finally heard your breathing

Yuji would immediately go into must protect mod

“Baby...”

His throaty voice would be full of concern yet it would be so sweet as he opens his arms

He is so warm when you finally accommodate yourself in his arms

The skin to skin contact is so relaxing you could almost melt in his embrace

“What’s the matter, Y/N? Want anything?”

You can see he’s still sleepy yet he would jump off the bed if you asked him too

But this time you just wanted him to hold you

Yuji would definitely run his fingers on your hair, massaging your scalp as you breathed in his scent

You can also expect him to start rubbing your back softly and intertwining your legs

In some occasions he would start telling you something funny that happened during his day

Feeling his chest vibrate under your cheeks as he laughed at a particular moment

Yuji definitely kisses your head and your cheeks when your position lets him

He’s just really sweet and understandable, drawing circles over your arm from time to time

Would sometimes hum a random song while your breathing calmed down

Yuji knew he wasn’t perfect at comforting but he tried to be for you

And even if he’s way too tired, Yuji would always wait for you to fall asleep first before he closes his eyes

Fushiguro Megumi

Megumi would be studying while you were taking a nap

I mean, it was like 6pm and you decided to sleep?

Megumi sighed in disbelief at your logic

But then he heard you letting out small noises as you laid in his bed

And at first he tried to stay concentrated and pay it no mind

He really thought it was just your usual sleepy babbling

But when Megumi started hearing your heavy panting

And then your soft cries

Megumi jumped from his chair as fast as he could, running to the bed where you were squirming around

“Y/N?” he whispers, shaking your frame softly

And when you wake up abruptly, eyes filling with tears while looking up at Megumi and flying to his arms

He can’t help but think how cute you are

Megumi feels kinda bad for that ngl

But he’s quick in wrapping his arms around you and lay down next to you

“Bad dream, huh?” He would genuinely ask as you buried your face in the crook of his neck, nodding

Megumi would chuckle and shake his head amusingly

He just really thinks you’re adorable in this state

Would totally read a book or just get lost in his own mind as you breathe calmly next to him

Megumi knows you’re pretty vulnerable when you have a bad dream, so he’s really careful with his actions

He tries to be more gentle with you

Really bad at cuddling and being the big spoon when needed like these times

However Megumi really excels on making you feel protected

Would just hold you tightly and whisper a few “Better?” until you tell him you are okay

You always say you aren’t even if you are just to feel him a little more

Megumi would kiss your nose when you fall asleep again before going back to his own work

Gojo Satoru

This man can be as thick in the head as a brick wall

And also quite an annoying pain in the ass

But he’s cute

And he’s also super caring for you and would never belittle your worries

So when you’re laying next to him one night and start moving around more than usual

Even if it’s just a small movement

Satoru can feel it

Maybe it’s the way he got used to sensing everything around him

But he can clearly feel the way your chest is rising up and down quickly

So naturally, Satoru sits down on the bed looking at you for any kind of reaction

And when you open your eyes with a big gasp only to see a pair of piercing blue eyes looking at you

You swear you got even more scared for a small moment there

But Satoru was quickier and rubbed your cheek with his hand, smiling softly

“You okay there, babe?” it’s kinda lighthearted the way he says it, trying not to sound too serious

And you just shake your head, a small hint of a pout on your face

This is where cuddly!Satoru comes to life

Even if he says otherwise, he actually loves being the big spoon

Satoru loves the feeling of your body pressed against him

So if holding you meant making you feel better then it was a win-win situation for both of you

Looooves drawing small circles on your tummy and thighs and kiss the back of your neck

Satoru is just really touchy and sweet when it comes to cuddling so expect a lot of kisses

He would most likely throw his long leg over you when he’s half asleep

After that nightmare, whenever he feels you move around, he tries to hold you tight in his sleep

Satoru does this so you don’t feel like you’re alone only because he’s asleep

Overall really sweet and cute, pretty clueless with his soft kicks when you both are already sleeping soundly

So Nanami really takes care of his sleeping time

He’s usually really tired so he would rather not have anything disturb him

But for you, he makes an exception in almost every single aspect of his life

So when Nanami feels the way you’re poking his arm, almost shyly

He wakes up to look at your nervous face, just one eye open as he yawns a little

Nanami is a man of a few words and a good observant

So you don’t have to say anything because he’s already wrapping an arm around you

Pulling you close to his chest as he places a kiss on the top of your head

“It’s okay, I’m here with you” he would whisper tiredly, releasing a sigh when he feels the way you nod

Nanami doesn’t have to say much to you and you’re glad for that

He has a way to make you feel safe with the smallest of touches

So you sleep soundly with his hands caressing your arm and listening to his breathing

✦He would invite you over to the Demon Lord's Castle to help him prepare a meal for Diavolo.

✦I think especially with the first few dates he wouldn't invite you on an 'official' date.

✦But in all honesty it's just an excuse to spend time alone with you.

✦Depending on your skill in the kitchen he would let you help him cook or teach you a thing or two.

✦He'd definitely make you try the dishes and ask for your opinion- definitely taking it to heart and into consideration. He trusts your opinion.

✦Expect a lot of casual touches. His hand on your shoulder or back when passing to get something on the other side of the kitchen. Small corrections of how you hold something. The touches would last just a little bit longer than normal.

✦He will make sure you are not bored and involve you in a lot of lighthearted conversation.

✦Even though it isn't 'official' dates, theh will definitely have this special vibe. He just manages to make every time you spend time together feel like it is the most important one.

✦He will definitely send you home with a ton of food you two cooked that day. It's way too much, even for a whole army of Beels. It would probably dawn on you then that his excuses of "preparing a meal for Diavolo" aren't at all why he actually invited you over.

✦He is very busy though, always being around Diavolo. So most of your other dates would consist of drinking tea together or going on small walks together.

✦Even though I can see Diavolo setting up the most random dates for the two of you sometimes- but if that's the price to pay for spending time with him? Totally worth it.

❂Often he feels like those dinner dates aren't special enough. He gets to eat or cook with you every day, it's not as special as he'd like it to be sometimes.

❂So once in a while he will take you out to all kinds of dates. He always tries to make it a bit original.

❂He always makes sure you enjoy the kind of date and mostly just plans them with you.

❂He isn't all too fond of the idea of a date as a surprising event. The date in itself is so much more fun if it was planned together in his opinion. No stress, no worries.

❂He really likes to go on trips with you for a day or two.

❂One of his favourite type is going on a hike with you. The two of you can spend lots of time together, have fun and enjoy the beautiful nature around.

❂ Also, if you like to work out, he would definitely take you to the gym. He doesn't see it as a date in particular but he enjoys it more than a normal activity.

✷ Most dates with him would just consist of him going over to your room, the attic or inviting you to his shared room with Beel.

✷If you're not the most comfortable with touch, he'd probably make you- I don't mean he would force you but you would probably grow comfortable with it over time.

✷Most dates would probably consist of big cuddling sessions. He just loves to curl up with you and laze around.

✷He prefers dates at home like for example a movie marathon.

✷He just doesn't like when many people are around. He likes to spend time with you alone. Even though he doesn't mind Beel spending time with you two.

✷There is one thing he really enjoys doing with you. He likes to sit down under the clear night sky with you and stargaze.

✷The stars are absolutely beautiful and then there is you. In his opinion looking at you, the stars being reflected in your eyes, nothing can compare to the beauty of that image to him.

✷He just feels a very deep connection to you while watching the stars together. He doesn't like to do it too often though. He wants it to stay something special between the two of you.

✷If you want to have a more active date, he's unlikely to say no to you. You may need some convincing though depending on the kind of date you want to go on.

✾Let's not count all the times you had to pretend to be this demon's lover just so he could get a discount at various places-

✾He would probably take you on dates that are super over the top.

✾I mean if he has the possibility to spoil you, why wouldn't he take it?

✾He would either invite you through fancy means like an elegant letter sent by an extravagant bird or he would just nearly kidnap you without a warning to take you on a date.

✾He is unpredictable and every time he sees an article about a fun date idea, be sure he will take you on that date- but with the special Diavolo spice. If you're not much of an adventurous person, he will definitely do his best to not overstep your limits and stay within the range of your comfort zone.

✾But if you're open for it, he will take you on every kind of date you can think of, from fancy dinner dates and walks in the park over taking you on a small roadtrip visiting amusement parks all the way to taking you to a beach to swim with sharks.

✾No matter what kind of date he will take you on, one thing is for sure: You will have fun, fun and more fun.

✾Going on a date with the future King of Devildom of course will draw lots and lots of attention to the two of you. That's something not even he can change.

✾Most of your dates will probably end up on dozens of blogs. But on the upside of that, everyone loves to see the two of you together. And they would never dare to intervene in any of your dates actively.

✢Most of the time it is probably hard to tell if he is inviting you to hang out or if he is inviting you on a date.

✢He never establishes beforehand that a date is a date or hanging out is just hanging out. He kind of thinks you just know. Either way he just loves to spend time with you.

✢You often get invited to Purgatory Hall just to hang out. Luke really likes to have you around so naturally you would spend a lot of time with him around too.

✢But Simeon really likes to invite you over on an actual date to Purgatory Hall too when the others are out. That's what really makes it hard to tell if it's a date sometimes. But either way you have a nice time.

✢Because of Luke's love for baking there is also always some cookies or pastries around to enjoy with a cup of tea.

✢What he loves most when inviting you on a date, is enjoying your presence and the talks he has with you. You will close to never see him without a smile on his face when you are around.

✢He also really likes to take walks with you. You two would prepare some sandwiches and some tea together and pack some of Luke's Cookies to enjoy a nice picnic together.

✢Sometimes I can see him totally surprise you though. He will take you on a date to an aquarium or a surprise trip to a new place that just opened.

✢For him it doesn't ever matter if you're on a date or not. He doesn't care what you two do. He is just happy getting to spend time with you.

It has been an eventful week, so this post took longer than I wanted to, but finally, a long post on s4:

Ok, let's start with the good stuff, because I think that's what most of us want to focus on right now:

-> First of all, call me a kinnie, but Ben was my favorite character this season. After two seasons of trying to find a middle ground between the Ben he was when he got to camp and the Ben he found in the island, it looks like he's finally sorting everything out, bringing back his sensitive, careful side, but still being open with the campers and feeling more sure of himself, which was a great change from s3 Ben, when he was still figuring this out. They did a great job with Episode 2 (the "just Ben" dialogue tugged some heartstrings ngl), and his interactions with the rest of the campers sure were more lighthearted and natural than in previous seasons, and it shows that he's finally finding his place within the group.

-> Mae!!!! 💖 She was a rush of fresh air while watching. Finally! An adult with morals who's willing to look out for the kids and actually doing something to take them home. I especially enjoyed her disposition to listen to the campers, which had been missing in the show (yes, even with Dave and Roxie I'm sorry), and was probably what made her escalate so far up my list of favorites. I wish we'd gotten a little more on her, since she was missing around halfway through the season, but we'll see what's in store for her in s5!

-> Now, the scene that made the entire living room shake: When Darius calls Brandon.

First of all, welcome back mister, you were greatly missed. Second, every time I think about how Darius's insticts jumped to immediately calling his brother I cry tears of happiness, I really thought he was gonna call the police but no he called Brandon hold up I'm gonna cry-

Anyways, I live in fear over what's gonna happen, since Brandon is probably the only person on mainland who knows or suspects the campers are still alive, and what would be better than making him reach out for the last 2 people who saw them? I really hope Brandon, Dave and Roxie make it to the campers, let them have a last chance at saving them.

(Also, random thought: Did anyone else got the tiniest bit scared when both Mae and Kash didn't believe the campers surviving on Nublar? Because someone a while ago said something about the public not believing the campers come from Nublar and saying it was all for attention and...um...*sweats nervously*)

-> Yaz's PTSD finally catching up with her. Some say it came out of the blue, others say it was about time. In my opinion it makes perfect sense, since not only has it been 6 months of running for their lives, but Yaz was the one who stared at the Scorpius Rex in the face, all the feelings and trauma from the Long Run had to have an impact on her. She had been bottling everything up, and the Long Run was the last straw that made everything come spilling out. I wished other characters had also gotten to talk about their trauma, but more on that later.

-> And talking about the queens of Rome, Yasammy stands unbeatable as it always has. Although they didn't become canon, we still got incredibly sweet moments between them: the drawing scene from Episode 1 (which has a lot of similarities with the balcony scene from the Cattle Drive 😏); Sammy helping Yaz with her nightmares (the bed scene was so domestic and cute, definitely made the top 3 of my favorite scenes of this season); how they were taking care of Angel, and the line that takes the cake: "Pretty sure you're the reason I have any feelings at all, Sammy" Like ARE WE GONNA TALK ABOUT THAT??? The implications, the symbolism,,, that line is everything

-> THE CLIFFHANGER, aka one of the 3 or 4 reasons I'm still hyped for s5. I was already speculating it around Episode 8 when I started noticing Kash was mentioning his boss too much for it to be normal, and because I spent the entirety of October theorizing about his dad showing up I had some hope. When I tell you that the moment Kenji started walking closer I had a pillow on my mouth to not scream it, and when the reveal happened my sister and I were yelling so much I think the ones on the last floor heard us 😳

It's still hard to believe because,,, how were we right about that?! We barely had proof other than the painting and the 2 or 3 lines we had about Kenji's dad, and yet we were right??? I can't wait to see where they take this in s5, because the angst potential is unmeasurably high, and we might finally get the insight on Kenji's family that we've been so desperately waiting for since the beginning of the show

-> The kayak friendships! Darius and Sammy got more scenes together (which btw, there's not near enough 😐), and the Ben and Yaz friendship has finally gotten more development! The "I just don't like like you" scene has quickly become one of my favorites from the show lol

-> Baby dinos! They were so freakingshly cute, and how they did that sideplot of Ben not wanting to befriend them so it wouldn't hurt like it did with Bumpy but then giving in and naming the Brachiosaurus Firecracker had me smiling like an idiot 💖

-> And by the way, HOW DARE YOU SHOW US THAT SCENE OF BUMPY NO ONE WAS READY FOR THAT! My sister broke down crying, and the way they set it up after "I'm sure she's already forgotten about old Ben" LIKE HOW DARE YOU??? 😭😭😭

-> It was such a cool detail to bring back the DNA Sammy collected from Nublar, the drone had been a question on my mind for almost an entire year and now it's finally resolved.

Now, the bad stuff:

<- That. I could go on for an entire 10-page essay about how this makes me feel, but I'll try to be as short and concise as possible: some paragraphs.

First of all, the way they introduced it into the show. Sure, Kenji had flirted with Brooklynn in the first episode of s1, but afterwards there was absolutely nothing leading to it. All their interactions after that were more on a friendly light, even familial to some extent. It is mentioned that the s3 finale was "the turning point" of their feelings, but to be honest, there were no implications to it. Kenji had become more selfless during the past six months, coming to view the campers as family, him being worried over Brooklynn was not "romantic" in any way. We'll go back to the s3 finale later.

The kayak scene in s1 and the talk in 02x04 are scenes I want to bring into attention, since in these it's shown clearly that Kenji is way more mature than Brooklynn, which is of concern when it comes to their romantic relationship. While I do consider their age gap to be concerning, it's more about the gap in maturity: 13 is still on the very early years of adolescence, while 15 is halfway through. It's even implied on their character designs. Brooklynn's blog is clearly directed at children, her design and clothes are still somewhat childlike, and then you have Kenji here with A FREAKING BEARD. It's weird as hell.

Also, "there's a bit of romance in the air"? A bit? A bit?! They were thrown into our faces every five minutes! Not even 10 minutes into episode 1 Kenji was already looking at Brooklynn like that! So many aspects of the season were overshadowed in favour of That: how the island works, what's the plan behind it, how did the campers get there, who's aware of its existence, how are the campers going to leave this island, I can name more. Some of these were either never talked about, or mentioned in one quick line you can easily forget. And you could say "oh but this is like season 1, it's a new island, we'll have time to explore it later", but the truth is: s5 is pointing out to be the final season, with Kenji's dad showing up and Brandon going for Darius. Next season is coming loaded with Mantah Corp, Kenji's relationship with his dad, and the campers trying to get home in one piece. There's not going to be enough time to explore the island correctly like s2 did, for example. All those questions had to be answered this season, and they weren't, thanks to their supposed development.

And the butchering of the characters...oh god. Outside of Ben, every character in the camp fam was affected by the romance subplot, if differently for each one. Kenji and Brooklynn were basically not allowed to have any meaningful interactions with the camp fam besides each other, and when they did speak to other characters 90% of the time it was related to the romance. Kenji was supposed to have more development in s4, yet all he did was become a simp for a 13 year-old girl and any arc he could've gotten this season was thrown away. I think Brooklynn was treated better when it comes to this, but she was still reduced to her romantic subplot, and her feelings didn't look genuine. Yaz and Sammy have had 3 seasons of build-up, and after everything that happened in The Long Run there should've been a follow up to their feelings and where their relationship stands at that moment. In my opinion, if they wanted to go for a romance subplot, they should've gone for them, it would've been paced out better and it would have made sense.

But the one character outside the pair that was most affected by all of this was...

<- Darius...Darius, my boy, how do you keep going? It's been 4 seasons, and he has not cried ONCE. Every other camper has gotten their moment to cry, to be vulnerable around others, except Darius, the leader, the godforsaken main character. The show constantly forgets he's 12, he barely counts as a teenager, and he's enthrusted with the lives of 5 other kids, who are as much as 3 years older than him, as well as his own. The s3 finale was sort of promising an answer to this, an insight on the pressure Darius is constantly feeling, BUT *drumrolls please*, turns out Darius instantly forgets about what Kenji said to him in 03x10 halfway through episode 1, Kenji being angry at him was just because he had a crush on Brooklynn, and Darius never gets the focus he deserves because why would we do that when there's this "romance"!!!

Also think it's important to mention how he was held back by Kash for 3 whole episodes. I said I wanted the rest of the campers to deal with things by themselves, but between them doing perfectly fine without him and him being incredibly chill with his situation compared to, for example, when Mitch and Tiff were chasing him and Sammy in 02x07, just leaves me severely disappointed. He literally has numbed down all the trauma and grief he has in order to help the others, and that's just our interpretation, because at this point who knows what the writers will even do with him. The trailer for s4 had most of us waiting for a season that would focus on him, yet he was distant from many of the campers through the season. Darius deserves a season that truly focuses on him and lets him talk freely about his feelings and trauma the way other characters have done through the show.

<- The beacon. Before the season dropped my speculations were that Mantah Corp had intercepted the signal and they just never cared about it. But not only was it never mentioned, we also found out that Kenji's dad is the president of Mantah Corp. If they had received the signal from Nublar, he would've been informed, and would have gone after it (unless he's an actual piece of garbage of a human being, which honestly would not surprise me, but in the context of the show I don't think they're going that far.). My theory right now is that someone related to the park got the signal, but assumed it was just a person and decided to not act, Dave and Roxie heard about this and are trying to figure out what to do, hoping it's the campers. It's been 2 seasons and we still don't know what happened to it, we need answers.

So my final conclusion is that the season wasn't all bad, the plot had a lot of potential and some of it was handled properly and still managed to keep me on the edge of my seat, but there were some major fuck-ups and decisions that messed up some of its aspects. It's definitely my least favorite season, but looking back at it it's not as terrible as I first thought it was, and I am still tuning in for s5.
