the me far off in the future is peering through glass at me somewhere 🍁🍂
I might end up editing this but just last week, our school held this huge campout just about everyone was to participate in. It was five hours away and I had the time of my life-- despite bearing the responsibilities of a squad leader on my shoulders and having to run and jog over rolling hills at every sounding whistle, it felt like being a little kid again.
I crept through and under rope and sand scattered over obstacle courses built for us-- I found dust and mud on my hands and simply rubbed them off, sprinting off to the next activity, the next endeavor-- wind blowing my hair back into my face and such. My eyes shone with something I felt was somewhat lost-- when I stood in line and I was given simple orders and lengthy instructions, I could have been mistaken for a puppy. What this feeling was was in the trees, it was in the winds that blew over the farms; the spirit of a certain freedom and childlikeness had made its way back to me, and I had danced with it and bounded across the grasses with it for as long as I could.
I know that I am here now and I may never find myself among the red narra again (we took a tour of the whole place. They told me the narra were rumored to be more than thirty years old. We all wondered what it would be like if they could speak) or in the woods I could never bring myself to forget, but perhaps you could find a girl-- no older than sixteen-- running, wind in her hair and face, running towards the second blow of a whistle or to the next thing she and her group would duly accomplish. Maybe you'll find traces of who I was in those precious moments, the me I left behind at camp-- she is still here, somewhat. But it's not quite the same.

You ever do something so, so stupid and waste an hour of your time in a video game?
(I went to go fight the Netherbrain. And didn't realize until after I'd gotten to the astral prism that I'd forgotten the fucking Orphic Hammer at camp. You know, the thing I went out of my way and spent 15k gold using the Blood Money action to kill Raphael for??)

Peter Pan
he/him
- story: peter pan/the pied piper
- race: human (air genasi reskin)
- class: college of glamour bard
- age: ~13
pre ep 4:
- from hamelin
- the son of a farmer (would help bring peppers into market)
- when his village was infested with rats, he approached those in charge with a deal: rid the town of rats for a large sum of money
- they agreed because they didn’t think a child could really do that and if you cheat a child what’s the worst that could happen?
- instead of charming the other children in the village, it was a plan by them to teach the adults a lesson (kid power!)
- they wander for a long while (following a star) till they find an enchanted island (neverland)
- the darling siblings are his friends from a neighboring town
- when the times of shadow came: the different factions of neverland began to truly fight (not the way they did that gave peter and the lost boys adventures but actual battles); and while peter never grew up, a few of the lost boys did (the enchantment that kept them young stopped working) and they left neverland
in between worlds:
- woke up in neverland to tinker bell trying to appeal to his want to return to his life of carefree adventure
- when his memories merge he gets a flash of murdering some of the lost boys a la the original story
post ep 4:
- he had to charm the children of his village to come to neverland with him and made up stories of pirates to keep them from leaving and to cover up his murders
- eventually the stories of peter’s eternal youth attract real pirates that want to take over the island
- his hometown is overrun by rats and plague that he summoned after the adults went back on their deal
- neverland is in disarray, with the pirates controlling the parts of the island that peter doesn’t rule with an iron fist
- he is now hardened by battles that this version of him has fought, and while he doesn’t have the same ideals as this version of him, he does believe that neverland cannot fall to the rule of the pirates
- before meeting up with the party, tried very hard to connect with the lost boys like he was able to before
- it didn’t work as well as he hoped so he told them they could leave neverland if they wished
