You ever get lulled into a false sense of security during the first two thirds of a kid's movie that's good with a serious plot but mostly a pretty fun time, only to have the entire final third tear your heart out, chew it up and spit it out, crush it into even finer paste beneath its heel, and add the fine powder your ribs have been turned into by the sledgehammer it whammed you with as a seasoning?
Anyway Nimona was great, 10/10 would recommend, I was crying on and off for what probably totaled 20 minutes of tears.

i am still on some level constantly so haunted by my post-season-1 vision of ted and rebecca’s future relationship before season two existed to contradict me, where they just keep getting closer and become best friends and interact all the time with definite increasing emotional intimacy until everyone around them is like “do they??? know?????? do they see what’s happening here???”
and i am definitely lowkey fangirl mourning that that’s just never what we’re going to get to see on the show, sob

I used my lunch break today to organize my loose tea collection and put them in jars that I ordered the other day.
Looks way more organized this way. I love it 😌

(Feel free to completely ignore this I'm venting)
Hey does anyone know how to stop feeling like you're going to throw up and/or have a panic attack and/or want to get hit so hard you loose your entire lifes memories everytime you remember/see something deeply embarrassing you did.

in case anyone was wondering if the pushback against "normalizing" is overblown i read a far-right queerphobic education bill today introduced like last year that would restrict literature that "normalizes pedophilia" so. yeah that's where we're at

soft asks! 2, 13, 29?
Thank you, friend- let’s see…
2. What is your feel-good movie?
I am not generally a big movie watcher (I love movies, but not *watching* movies, if that makes sense- short attention span), but every time I think about Mamma Mia I am filled with joy and love. The soundtrack, the story, the warmth and humor… I adore. 10/10.
13. What is your comfort food?
Ohh this is hard… in terms of like. Meal food, I love fried chicken (bone-in) or flounder, I associate them with a lot of good memories and they’re both absolutely delicious, especially around where I’m at!
In terms of dessert- 10-layer chocolate cake. Not just a yellow cake with a few layers and chocolate frosting, it must be this bad boy:
(preferably acquired at a little grocery store or bakery, as that is where it is tastiest. big-name stores or bakeries that make one custom just don’t do it right)
29. Morning, afternoon or night?
Hmm… I do love sleepy mornings and staying up late at night, but I gotta say afternoons! The air turns all golden and pretty, and it’s the best time for a quick nap.

I unfortunately can’t find the Tweet now but years ago (probably over ten at this point) someone said on Twitter that Hayley Williams and Frankie Foster are secretly the same person and Hayley responded with this screenshot of Frankie winking and nothing else:
