I went a little off-track, mb 😭

- He didn’t really have any interest in girls, until him and Emma were just going back and forth with insults and she said that he gets no girls. It made him stop and actually think. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d liked a girl or a girl liked him back.

- So naturally he decided to give the whole relationship thing a go. The only problem was to find someone willing to be his girlfriend.

- He went to school to try and find a girl who might like him, he didn’t have any specific girl he liked so he was open to anyone. You sat next him in a couple of classes, but since he never never came, he didn’t know. You guys got to talking and he quickly found himself enjoying your little daily talks!

- It progressed and it wasn’t until Draken noticed him getting visibly happy whenever someone mentioned your name that he liked you. Mikey honestly didn’t think it was a big deal until Mitsuya pointed out that you might only see him as a friend. That’s when he got a little panicked.

- This was the first (and would be the only) time he’d ever liked a girl. We all know if you’re friends with Mikey that it will last literal TIMELINES because he’s incredibly loyal and expects others to be as well. That’s why he expected your guys’ current friendship to last that long too.

- He realized that confessing could ruin that if you didn’t like him back and if you did you two could end up breaking up since he didn’t know much about relationships anyway.

- So for a couple of months he just lived with his giant crush on you.

- I don’t think he’d be scared of introducing you to Toman since he knows he’s literally ‘The Invincible Mikey’ (or was it unbeatable I can’t remember). He could just protect you if anything were to happen! And he expected every Toman member to do the same.

- Everyone in Toman knows Mikey likes you. In fact, you seem to be the only one who hasn’t noticed.

- When Takemichi found out that Mikey liked you, he was ready to help his friend out. So he gave Mikey advice that he got from Hina. He told Mikey to be a gentleman and to be straight up with his feelings.

- You and Emma happened to be good friends and you’d even been to her house a couple times. You’d never met Mikey there though, you only knew that Emma had a brother and a grandpa. But you’d met her Grandpa and he was a nice old man.

- Mikey happened to be home but he ignored the fact Emma had someone over since he didn’t know any of them. But then he went into Emma’s room to tell her something and he froze when you’d said hi to him.

- HOW WERE YOU IN HIS HOUSE? IN HIS SISTER’S ROOM? WHEN DID YOU GUYS EVEN MEET?-

- Emma was surprised that you and Mikey knew each other, but brushed it off since she didn’t have to introduce Mikey.

- But then Mikey was visibly getting happy when talking to you, and Emma could swear she saw him blushing..

- That’s how Emma found out he had a massive crush on you, and she was a little mad because you and her had been friends longer than you’d known Mikey. She was sure that her brother’s feelings weren’t genuine. She didn’t want Mikey to ever confess, in case the relationship didn’t work out and you stopped being friends with her because it was awkward.

- But when she noticed his feelings were actually genuine she was hell-bent on getting him to confess.

- So he finally relented. But before he did anything, he begged Emma to ask you if you liked him, even just a bit.

- So she called you the next day and asked. You didn’t want to tell Emma that you liked her BROTHER so you avoided the question. But then she said she didn’t mind if you liked her brother and that she would be your wingwoman if you did. That’s when you finally confessed to her that you’d liked Mikey for a couple weeks now.

- She had to cover Mikey’s mouth to stop him from confessing right then and there over the phone.

- So after he found out he was happy but a little confused. Why would you like him of all people? But on the surface he was telling his friends things like “Of course she likes me, I’m the strongest!” (it’s giving gojo)

- Planned a wholeeeee thing to ‘indirectly’ confess to you. He didn’t want to do all the work in your guys’ obvious upcoming relationship. So Draken and Mitsuya planned something to help. (Mikey just sat there eating dorayaki and rambling on ab all the cute things he wants to do once you inevitably become his gf)

- The plan was that Emma would ask you to walk home with her, so then after school you’d wait until she came out to go. But Emma would take a while to leave you waiting. Then a short distance away from you, Mikey would talk to his friends with a loud ass voice. Then he’d be all like “Yeah, Y/N is really pretty, I would love to go out with her.”

- And then you’d be all like “omg!!! mikey, you’re the love of my life!!! <3”

- But he happened to be daydreaming the last part.. Although, his plan was bound to elicit SOMETHING!

- Little did they know Emma was a double agent and had told you her brother loves you and that you should confess. At first, you would’ve been like ‘no way!’. But Emma spent ages convincing you and managed to get you to do it on the same day Mikey was supposed to.

- So on the day he was going to indirectly confess, Emma got you to go outside right after school and ask to speak with him privately.

- He was caught a little off guard but went w/ you.

- To cut this short you guys kissed and are a couple now, yay!

- Now onto the actual relationship headcannons, I’m sorry the bit before was a lot longer than I expected 😭

- His friends gag whenever you guys kiss near them.

- “Jeez, get a room!”

- “Stop swapping spit and pay attention, Mikey you dumbass!”

- “It looks like he’s eating her, wtf??”

- “Y/N, are you okay?!! My brother is disgusting!!”

- guess who says each of those lol

- Will lick your cheek but gets shocked if you do it back.

- You’re the only person he shares his snacks with, and even then you barely get any 😔

- He loves taking you out on late-night motorcycle rides where you scream because he’s going way too fast.

- He doesn’t wear a helmet, but expects you to wear one for your safety.

- “Aren’t you gonna wear a helmet, Manjiro?”

- “Nope, I’m good.”

- Likes it when you call him by his actual name, since it’s been a while since anyone has. (he acts like he doesn’t tell everyone to call him mikey)

- One time, you wanted to have a cute date where you two read books w/ each other but he ended up falling asleep 10 minutes in.

- Took you out to eat after though, partly bc he gets hungry after waking up.

- But right after he ate, he fell asleep again and you had to call Draken to come help you lift Mikey 😭😭

- His sleeping and then eating thing is a vicious cycle

- Draken sees you as a sister, and if anyone were to be his wingwoman or wingman with Emma it would be you.

- You edge along their relationship by saying things to them like

- “Emma, Draken was asking about you!”

- “Guess what, Draken? Emma asked about you!”

- Mikey gets huffy though.

- Likes when you kiss him w/ lipstick on because it leaves a stain on his lips.

- You did face masks with him once and put cucumbers over his eyes but then he ate them 😒

- Loves eating things with you. Mf will show up at your door with bags of food from some new restaurant he found asking to try it with you.

- The first time you baked smth for him, he didn’t leave your side for a week.

- He’s actually very sweet when he wants to be, but it’s only when you two are alone. He likes to hold your hand whilst you’re watching something or reading. It makes him comfortable.

- You probably have to do his hair in the morning like Draken does 😭😭

- Draken appreciates it tho

- Even though Toman knows about you, you wouldn’t have to worry about other gangs getting to you because Mikey simply won’t let it happen. He’s already taken care of that by having Sanzu watch you as well! :)

- Sanzu did NOT like you at first but he grew to tolerate you then after a while he sort of liked you.

- When you and Mikey were first dating, he probably gave you the nastiest stink eyes. He also tripped you up once but no one suspected him..

- He’s very loyal, I don’t see him cheating or breaking up with you. Especially because he really loves you and can’t imagine his life without you now.

- Blanket hogger. Will literally tear it off of you whilst he’s sleeping and lay down on top of it. (sometimes he fakes being asleep to do this to you bc he likes pissing you off 😭😭)

- If you guys have an argument, I don’t think he’s the type of guy to say ‘sorry’ but he’ll do things to show you he’s sorry. He’ll you your favorite food, buys you a plushie or just hug you quietly.

- He will only say sorry if it was a serious argument, and if he was really in the wrong. But luckily you guys don’t really argue. Anytime Mikey feels an argument coming on, he’ll discreetly diffuse it by catching you off-guard with a kiss or something. (i can’t tell if that’s a little toxic or not)

Tokyo revengers relationship headcannons

An: these are all my personal fav characters, but if you want any specific characters I'm all ears just ask or message me!

Kisaki

This man practically worships you, everything you do is beautiful to him. He adores you and would do absolutely anything for you.

No matter how drastic it is, if you told him to do something he'd do it no question, even if it is against what he considers moral it doesn't matter to him

He's an addict for you, your love, and your touch. He loves it all

He never forgets to tell you how much he loves you, from random kisses to full-on letters from him

He has his own vision of a perfect future, and it's with you; your kindness, your beautiful face, and personality have all the aspects he wants in his future. And he can't imagine It without you

Kisaki is completely head over heels and lovesick for you.

Mitsuya

Mitsuya remembers every little thing about you, if you mention you like something to him once he buys it every time he sees it

he also quickly notices subtle changes you make; new perfume, a hair trim, or even a different lip gloss. he realizes it all

he absolutely adores you, there is no doubt about it he tells everyone about you and he's so happy while doing so

he went to Emma for advice on how to ask you out, he was way too shy and nervous

if you patch him up after a fight, he might fall in love again.

he also loves to draw you and he gives these drawings to you with your favorite flower and a short poem or love letter.

most of his art or fashion designs are based on you

you both have a notebook where you both write or draw for each other too

Hanma

Hanma is hopelessly devoted to you, he may be strict and pretty possessive but he also has undying love and loyalty for you

he will do anything and everything in his power to keep you by his side and happy

he isn't all that good at communicating but if you want to speak to him about something you don't like in the relationship, hed listen don't expect him to say anything. once you are done he will just leave, however, you do notice that he did change whatever it was you didn't like as soon as he could.

to him, actions speak louder than words

despite him being so different from you he finds a way to make this relationship works.

he's so proud and supportive of you as well, anything you do he absolutely adores it

if you are an artist he will display your art in his office making it practically a little art show

kazutora

kazutora spent most of his childhood in a cell, so the chances that you are his first girlfriend are very high.

he loves you he really does, but he doesn't know how to show it

he tries he really does, he absolutely adores you but he doesn't know how to say or put it into words

if you are patient with him and talk to him, he is so grateful that you do, he'd ask if he's doing anything wrong and change it

however, if you don't, you will quickly realize that he has other priorities before you

he asks takemichy or hina for advice, (hina was more helpful)

with the advice he got he slowly but surely became a better boyfriend

he thanks you for being so patient and kind to him. its that quality that made him fall in love with you in the first place

chifuyu

the kinda boyfriend who wants to match with literally everything

he is so head over heels for you it is actually quite adorable

he never fails to make you feel loved and appreciated

if you are around he probably follows you around like a lost puppy, he loves your attention

if he hasn't seen you in days when he does expect a nearly bone-crushing hug followed by rambles of how much he misses you

if you both began dating in his teen years, he probably confessed to you using a romance manga he would highlight every I love you or confession in the volume and wrote you a confession at the end of it

despite all this he is still very protective of you and will do anything even if it meant him losing his own life for your safety

random question that may or may not be self indulgent (it totally is). Who in tr do you think is the biggest cuddler?

Ok I started this one off by planning to try and put everyone in order of who likes cuddling the best to who isn't keen. However it got too difficult lmao so they're not in order but this is what I got for everyone.

Hina- The one who hugs the most in the canon material, she definitely loves cuddles! Uses them to comfort people and also likes to be comforted with them.

Emma- She is seen so often cuddling her bear, cuddles out of pure affection. When she's feeling overly emotional she gets very cuddly.

Mikey- Commonly cuddles his towel/blanket, he just likes snuggling up to something or someone soft and warm. Will cuddle on instinct, just can't help but snuggle up to people he trusts, will then fall asleep on you.

Pah- Very cuddly, he's so warm to cuddle with too. He may not act like it but loves a good cuddle.

South- Definitely cuddles with those plushies he has, he finds comfort from cuddling. Happy to cuddle with someone he's close too, likely to talk or maybe even sing softly when cuddling too.

Angry- He also has a lot of plushies that he probably cuddles with. He just enjoys feeling close to someone.

Mitsuya- Definitely likes cuddling to show affection, must've cuddled with his sister's a lot growing up. He's also grown used to using cuddling as a way to calm someone down. Feeling stressed? A hug from Mitsuya can definitely help.

Shinichiro- Likes how loved and needed he feels when cuddling. Like Mikey he will demand hugs at random times. You're busy cooking? Nope not anymore, Shinichiro is hugging you now, cooking can wait.

Chifuyu- Definitely enjoys the closeness and warmth from cuddling, used to cuddling with Peke J a lot. You could go to him at any time to ask for a hug and he'd happily drop everything.

Takemichi- He needs cuddles, cannot survive the day without a hug. They're his pick me up, he needs them for motivation.

Koko- Get's a bit flustered about it the first time or so but grows to be a big enjoyer of cuddles. Will seek you out for a cuddle and pout if you say no. He just wants to feel close to you and feel you in his arms.

Kazutora- Was definitely a bit nervous about hugging at first, the whole affection thing was a bit new to him and was nervous about doing it wrong. But once he gets comfortable then he loves cuddling, gets a bit clingy and will try to cuddle you as you go about with your day.

Rindou- Someone who craves cuddles but refuses to ask for them, instead he'll just get closer and closer to you until you're nearly holding each other anyway.

Izana- Definitely thought cuddles were stupid at first, well until he started getting them. He likes the feeling of being safe and being able to hold you. Gets a little clingy though sometimes, doesn't wanna let you go.

Yuzuha- Enjoys cuddles especially if it involves either her playing with your hair or you playing with her hair. She truly treasures the quiet moments.

Baji- Likes cuddles best when he's feeling tired, falling asleep while cuddling with you is the best, always gives him the best sleep and dreams.

Smiley- It's not umcommon for him to get embarrassed with cuddles but he still enjoys them. Really likes to cuddle while you two talk about your days together, like a little gossip and cuddle session.

Kakucho- Another one who was a bit hesitant to start cuddling, he actually only started cuddling with you because you wanted it. Quickly realised he likes it too though, will ask for a cuddle when he wants it now. He loves the feeling of holding you, keeping you safe in his arms.

Shion- Thinks he's the best person at cuddling and will do it often to prove it!

Ran- Will cuddle but as long as you don't mess his hair up or try to cuddle him when he's sleeping, doesn't wanna be woken up if already sleeping. Aside from that he's perfectly happy to cuddle, likes feeling needed by you.

Benkei- Loves cuddles but gets a bit nervous about them, was worried about hurting you accidentally the first few times so used to hug you very lightly until he got more used to it.

Kisaki- He enjoys cuddling, likes the attention and affection from it but his more logical side argues that it's a waste of time. Normally because of this he needs to be coaxed into cuddles, will happily cuddle after though.

Peh- Definitely gets a bit nervous with cuddling, is happy to do so though.

Senju- Can get a bit overexcited when it comes to cuddling sometimes, will squeeze you a lot and happily chat about her day.

Draken- Finds cuddling to be comforting, nothing he loves more after a long day of work then having some cuddles with you.

Wakasa- Likes cudding enough but not all the time. Finds it relaxing you to cuddle with you, a good way to relax.

Hakkai- May die if his partner is a girl and hugs him at the start of the relationship. He just gets so flustered by it! Does enjoy it though, just needs to take it slow.

Hanma- Likes cuddling to see your reactions, wants to see you relaxed or flustered or anything really. Seeing you like that is his favourite thing, likes holding you too and being held.

Mochi- likes cuddles enough but rarely asks for them, usually he prefers play fighting but is likes to relax and just cuddle sometimes too.

Inui- finds it relaxing to listen to your heartbeat and breathing, it's his favourite thing about cuddling.

Taiju- will cuddle if asked, sometimes initiates too but prefers other ways of relaxing with you. Mainly initiates when he wants reassurance from you or when he's had a difficult day.

Naoto- is usually a bit too busy for cuddles, he can get very wrapped up in his work. Also needs you to coax him into cuddles but will oblige when asked. Enjoys cuddles but sometimes forgets to slow down and just enjoy them with you.

Mucho- he actually does enjoy cuddling more then people would assume. He likes the closeness and downtime with you.

Sanzu- Cuddling with him is going to be very different depending on what timeline we're in. If you're close enough to him then he does enjoy it though, having someone he can be a bit vulnerable with.

I hated the tr ending so badly. Not because it was rushed or anything. Wakui could have fleshed out the last timeline so thoroughly and logically and I would still hate it because the ending itself goes against what I felt the story stood for in the first place. He replaced all the characters for fakes, none of the characters we were intoduced to had happy endings because they either are totally different people or re lived their life to avoid healing. The ending basically proved izanas last words right "there's no saving me" yeah I guess not if the only way to help everyone is to make sure their lives never happened the way it did. Horrible I hate it so much. Also one ship I hate is rinzu or ranzu because they don't even interact once and it's so popular for no fucking reason other than "its hot" and tbh they would prolly hate eachother like petty bitches, they would NOT get along at any point. Also Koko and amane ship because if people actually read the manga with their eyes open it would not make sense. Anyways thanks for letting me be a hater in ur askbox, I love your blog btw

I think you're the first person who has the same opinion as me lmao😭. I also didn't believe it should have had an ending like that at all because of the themes that had been set up during the entire story. I understand people's perspectives of "It's Wakui's manga and it's his ending he can do what he wants" but media is supposed to be talked about, discussed and even criticized at times. That's like, the whole point of publishing stuff. As an enjoyer and supporter of Wakui's manga, I feel like I have the right to question some inconsistencies and contradictions (not directly attack him tho, that's never okay. like people who send death threats over ships and stuff that's messed up) that showed up in the ending. I also believe lots of people didn't really take it seriously as a manga idk. It had some very serious topics that people seem to forget about. For example: suicide, abuse, abandonment, child neglect, substance abuse, extreme violence, rape, prostitution etc, and I think people just kinda see it as a silly manga that has cool characters they like. And that's okay. It's okay to not take a piece of media seriously and enjoy it for the sake of enjoying it, not everything needs to be critically analyzed, but stop shitting on the people who take it seriously enough to question why the fuck it ended how it ended. Lots of the discourse took place between critical analysers who wanted an author to finish the manga by sticking to the themes and messages he has set up the entire time versus casual enjoyers who just wanted everyone to be happy for the sake of liking the characters. And I completely agree with the Izana thing!!!! You cannot claim to have saved someone by rewriting their entire life!!! Takemitchy was not supposed to be god!! Also, isn't the moral story of time travel that you should never ever do it? Because you win some, you lose a whole lot fucking more. I thought Draken dying was setting up that narrative. That saving Mikey, was gonna fuck up a whole lot. Isn't that why Chifuyu broke down?

Idk about you guys, but dark impulses being a curse disappointed me quite a bit. I thought it was supposed to be a symbol of Mikey being deeply mentaly ill. And that he had to deal with it head on and not run away all the time (this was Takemichi's entire storyline basically and the the main theme of TR). I just feel like it sucked because the message of the ending, whether Wakui intended it or not, was that you can't be fixed without magical time traveling. Although the story had some fictional aspects, it was realistic at least. I thought they'd deal with everything that wasn't time travel realistically.

Any ship with Sanzu and the Haitani's is hilarious to me and although I don't ship any of them seriously, the fanarts fun to look at some time (and you're right I think they look good together cause they're hot😭). You are completely correct about them not liking each other tho. It's actually canon. Idk if you remember during the three deities fight when Ran hit Haruchiyo with his baton? Nothing but pure malice between their eyes😭. The Koko and Akane ship actually triggers me because one thing about me? I'm not comfortable with large age gaps. Akane was 5 years older than Koko💀. And I didn't know people took what she said to him seriously. I thought she was just trying to not hurt his feelings? Koko and Inupi were around 7/8 when the fire happened. Meaning Akane was like 12/13. Uhhh Idk bout y'all but I don't think a 13 yo would be attracted to someone that young. And waiting for them to be of age is...😶. Be fr.

Happy new year

After the incident at the last party you hadn’t spoken much. But neither was it natural to, the friend group hadn’t really met up since then. The holidays are a busy time for any family and you all respected that. Sure there had been some pictures in the group chat, Emma and Mikey always shared pictures of the gifts they gave each other, always the most random of things. One year Mikey had given Emma a toy train set that he’d ended up spending way too much time with himself. Takemichi and Hinata usually shared some pictures from their dates, which only served to make everyone feel even more single that they already did. Hence followed messages like:

you’re so cute I’m puking rn - emma

or Baji sending pictures of all his stuffed animals. (That of course, are a secret that is not to be revealed to the outside world.)

All in all, things had been normal. So normal that you didn’t think too much about what had happened at all. And even if you had thought more about it you couldn’t really do anything or talk to anyone about it. That would’ve meant including your friends into the thought process, and well that was problematic for obvious reasons. So, you decided not to think about it.

It ended up being easier than you thought with all the christmas spirit around you. And you kind of forgot all about it till you once again stood on his doorstep for the traditional new year’s party.

That’s when it hit you that something might be different. You didn’t have time to think more of it before the door opened right in your face and almost had you tumbling back down the stairs.

“There she is! What are you standing out here for?” it was Hina, “The boys are being suuuch boys, they want to play board games,” she says with a pout on her lips. “We need your voice, board games or dancing.”

She was cut off by Draken from somewhere inside: “Why do we aaalways have this discussion? Board games first then dancing.”

“Actually,” you voice your opinion as you’re getting dragged inside, “I’m with the boys on this one, sorry Hina”. You give a crooked smile and head for the living area, glorious whooping sounds from the rest of the gang.

“Knew we can always count on you y/n,” Baji grins as he starts setting up the board.

When you make your way to scooch into the empty seat beside him you see Chifuyu on the other side of the same sofa. Uh-oh, too late now. You’ll just have to deal with your choices and sit squeezed between the two of them for the rest of the evening. Maybe you can escape later.

It suddenly dawns on you that Chifuyu is always on the board-game team, would he think you did this for him? Fuck.

Never before have you been so aware of the fabric of your clothes against his. Double fuck.

my hands needs to have self control, i just accidentally deleted the request someone asked that tr characters chilling at the beach 😭 whoever you are that requested this, this was so late gosh, i had a tough week and had a hard time to gather thoughts to write again but no worries. thankyou for requesting and enjoy 🫶🏻

: huge spoilers of the manga ❗

summer that year was hot, probably hotter than previous years but it wasn't minded at all. not when the whole toman members were gathering, in their hideout everyone giddy that their acting president, hanagaki takemichi was announcing he would finally marry the love of his life. mikey dramatically shed a tear while chifuyu actually sheds lots of tears.

everything has been planned from the wedding dress to the venue, the toman members insisted they were involved with everything and all held their breath for the upcoming today which was still far away, actually. more exactly, a year from then. but they were very excited and takemichi doesn't mind any of it.

"takemichi how do you want a bachelor party like?"

"uh, i don't mind really. as lon as everyone's there, it'll be fine"

"we should go to the beach!"

"don't you think it's too hot to got there? i'll get sunburn"

"you pea brain! it's not like we're just laying down under the sun! there's a hotel nearby, we should bring our booze and stay there"

"oi don't you think you're being a bad influence right now?"

"the beach it is!"

so the deliquents booked four rooms to share for like twenty people? yeah kokonoi didn't liked the arrangement at all. "who the hell booked these rooms heaven's sake i have money!"

"what the hell peh it's just three nights why are there three bags?!"

"my skincare is in there shut up"

they settled down that night while draken whipped out a projector to put on a movie, kakucho and izana was cooking while mitsuya helped. hakkai tried to help too but his hands keep getting burned so taiju (very scarily) told him to sit down and not help them. kisaki and hanma bought back more food from the store while baji complained about him being hungry.

"this feels nice" mikey said while looking at takemichi beside him. takemichi meekly smiled and nodded, happy and glad. while bickering is happening in the background, takemichi couldn't be happier that everyone was here, safe and sound.

"so im planning we go swimming tomorrow if the weather's good" draken said while munching on some popcorn, his eyes fixated on the projector. after a while, izana comes in with an apron and food on a tray and told everyone to eat up.

"sit down brother, you've done enough. the rest would do the dishes, you and kakucho can go and rest yeah?" mikey said while holding his half brother, izana still wiping his hand on his apron.

"yeah, thanks. OI HAITANI THATS HOT DONT SHOVE IT IN YOUR MOUTH" izana scrambled to rindou that was holding a cup of tea and took the cup to blow in it. "blow it like that, don't just drink it" rindou copied his actions and sipped it slowly, humming at the taste. ran who was supposed to take care of rindou was already knocked out on the floor, the others carefully trying not to step on him.

the night continued as some of the members after eating the whole hearted meal, knocked out on the floor not even bothering to grab a blanket or a pillow. they just, passed out there.

"damn izana, what did you even put in the food? they seem to very enjoy it" mitsuya said while covering their bodies with blankets that he found. "i don't know, it's a recipe from Filipino maybe that's why?"

"culture shock perhaps?" the two men giggled while struggling to cover the members on the floor. kazutora was drying the dishes that was passed by chifuyu who was doing the cleaning. inui was chatting with koko while the two of them were picking up crumbs from the floor.

a loud snore startled them, the source of sound from taiju. another loud snore was heard, now the sound came from mucho. the two had a snoring competition at who was the loudest, that the other members fled from the room and slept there.

the deliquents woke up at noon, none of them woke up early. they only woke up because shinichiro was knocking on the door to drop off some snacks. all of them in their swim trunks went to the beach, no doubt attracting some eyes.

"the chicks are happy to see my abs yeah"

"yeah, you wish hanma. it's me they're looking at" yeah, they had arguments after that and threw each other in the water. souya observed them from afar, comfortable in his ducky float that his brother insisted him to use. shion was literally drowning because sanzu kept dragging him back in the water but he stopped after getting a glare from mikey.

"what's the matter kenchin? don't want your hair to get wet?"

"shut up mikey, i forgot my conditioner. if i wash them now, my hair would be a mess"

"hey guys help me dump draken in the water!"

"what? fuck no!" draken's word died as kakucho grabbed his feet while mitsuya took his arm and tossed the man in the water. "fucking hell! you'll pay for that manjiro!"

"boo kenchin! you'll never catch me!" they did a lot of swimming, a lot of attempts of drowning each other too. the gang spent their whole evening there, only returning back to the hotel when it's late night. the next day, ran and rindou found a bar nearby and suggested them to 'raid' it.

so raid the bar they did.

it was very chaotic considering taiju instinctly became the only sober one that night. that night, mikey went up the bar and danced on the counter while being drunk. takemichi who was tipsy couldn't stop puking and ended up sleeping in the toilet. draken was outside, fighting a guy with hanma. kisaki and koko was on a table with some shady looking guys, having a little gambling. kakucho and rindou slept on the lounge, too drunk to even move. ran was flirting with all the girls he met, izana having to drag him so he won't get lost.

after a while, the members tried to drag their limp bodies to go back at the hotel some of them tripping on the way. some of them was piggyback. some of them couldn't stop puking and slurring incoherent words.

takemichi couldn't remember anything that night, he woke up the next morning with a migraine. but what he remembered that he had fun, and that was all that mattered.

If you somehow manage to stop him from actually throwing a punch at the person he is definitely lecturing them

Please for the love of god just drag him away, cause even if he doesn’t throw the first punch he will say something to get himself slapped

After you drag him away, or he gets his shit rocked he will then ask if your okay

If you're fine he'll go back to his usual jocking self, if not he will be super sweet, offering you cuddles and using all the pet names and compliments he knows will give you euphoria

being mikey's girlfriend, it's only natural for you to be close to emma. the moment she found out you were dating her brother, miss ma'am had to meet you, and you'll never forget how she repeatedly asked you interrogative questions like, "are you sure you want to date my brother?" and "are you sure he didn't pay you or blackmail you?"

"emma, shut up and stop bugging [name]-chan!"

"just making sure!"

emma really loved and adored you. she'd scold mikey every time and make sure he was treating you right. sometimes, she'd purposely drag you away from her brother because she knew exactly how attached mikey was to you, and you would never mind it because you enjoyed emma's company.

apart from emma, there was also tachibana hinata. she was takemichi's girlfriend. you significantly remember her from draken's story, telling her how she slapped mikey in the face once, and it was hilarious. she and emma happened to be close friends, and that's how you ended up becoming friends with her too.

as for yuzuha, it was hakkai who introduced you to her. hakkai freezes up whenever he comes across a girl that talks to him, but somehow, somehow, he feels at ease when he is with you. he doesn't know if it's you being part-witch, or if you remind him of his own sister, yuzuha. it was probably both. you were such a caring person. you didn't just care about Mikey, you cared about toman; you cared about everyone, even if you didn't know them. yuzuha's interest was piqued when hakkai told her about you, knowing how her brother was timid around girls.

as for senju, you met her through mikey. you were at the sano household when a young girl with tousled light pink hair came in along with a tall guy, and that's when mikey introduced you to senju, a childhood friend of his, just like haruchiyo and baji. tou were slightly intimidated by her, especially when mikey introduced her as the boss of brahman, but that was until she came running to you, practically radiating golden retriever energy; she was playful and childish, and just like mmma, she ended up taking you from your boyfriend for the most part too.

eventually, the five of you ended up becoming close friends, and it really made your heart happy. honestly speaking, you really didn't have any friends at school. your peers were just your "work friends," and growing up, you never really had childhood friends due to how unique you were that you had to be homeschooled.

it was also one of the reasons you always looked forward to seeing mikey, who definitely skipped classes to see you and fetch you. he became your escape, and now, thanks to him and his friends, you are able to get out of your bubble and broaden your horizons.

"kikufuku, what's with the look on your face?"

you had just finished a mission together with your gumi-nii, yuuji-nii, and nobara-nee, and currently the four of you were being driven home by the one and only gojo satoru. you hadn't stopped smiling after the mission and definitely piqued their curiosity.

"is mikey proposing?"

nobara smirked, leaning forward in your front seat to get closer, and gojo may or may not have almost hit a lamp post when his first-year student asked that.

"no, it's not a proposal, nobara-nee. it's actually his sister, and well, hinata, senju, and yuzuha." you explained to nobara and the rest. "we're going to harajuku tomorrow to do some shopping together!"

"oh, thank god." gojo muttered quietly under his breath, glancing at you briefly with a big happy grin before returning his attention towards the driver's wheel. "looks like sugarplum has a get together with her friends, huh?"

"mhm, i'm really looking forward to it." you nodded your head, unable to hold back a smile. "it's been awhile since i've been to harajuku."

"ah, i'm so happy for you [name]-chan! you're all grown-up now." yuuji exclaimed, which megumi smiled and quietly hummed in agreement. "just look at you, going out with friends at harajuku!"

"it will be your first time to be away from us too, and well, your boyfriend." megumi stated in a matter of factly manner.

"and you deserve it after today's mission!" nobara said in addition, smiling.

shopping with the girls turned out to be so much fun. all four of you, coincidentally, were fond of fashion and clothes, and it was really interesting to see how all of you had different yet unique tastes.

upon shopping, you discovered how girlish senju can be; how she was fond of cropped tops and skirts. emma and hina both had similar tastes. they were both into fashionable yet comfortable clothes. yuzuha, on the other hand, was into clothes that had pretty patterns, such as floral midi skirts.

despite your different tastes in clothes, the five of you found it fun to try each other's styles and basically just go ham. the five of you played dress up, hyping up and giving each other constructive criticism on clothes and such. it was just so much fun, and because of them, you also got to discover a whole new style that doesn't merely consist of red and black.

mikey and the rest of toman happened to go to harajuku, and god they weren't expecting to see you, hinata, emma, senju and yuzuha together.

"isn't that [name]-san.. with hina-chan, emma-chan, senju-chan and yuzuha-chan?!" a gasp was drawn from takemichi's breath as he pointed at you girls, leaving him and everyone's mouths hanging agape.

you never really told your boyfriend anything specific about what you were doing that day, so when he and everyone else saw you five, they were in awe.

"that is them." mikey confirmed in a mutter, blinking with wide eyes.

the five of you looked like a girl group together, walking down the streets as if you guys owned it. people undoubtedly stared at each and every single one of you.

you were conversing with the girls, talking about which store to go to next as you guys ate ice cream while carrying your respective shopping bags. senju was suggesting a jewelry store, which emma recognized and became fond of, as you, hinata, and yuzuha excitedly agreed to head there. you guys were so busy that you didn't even notice the toman boys.

"i didn't know [name]-chan was close with senju and yuzuha too." draken exclaimed.

"they look like a famous girl group together too!" chifuyu, who was with takemichi, pointed out, which they all agreed upon.

toman couldn't help but become curious, so they secretly followed and silently listened to the conversation the five of you were having, with mikey admiring you with adoration and hearts in his eyes (you were just so pretty, smiling and laughing with emma, hinata, yuzuha, and senju ><)

"ah, you're so pretty [name]-chan. it really suits you. you should wear it more often." senju exclaimed, gesturing at the top you were wearing.

"of course, hina and i picked it out." emma nodded in agreement, placing the back of her hand underneath her chin as she pulled hinata to her side.

"thank you, i really like it! it goes really well with the bottoms and shoes that you and yuzu picked out for me." you giggled as you linked arms with yuzuha who smiled at the nickname you gave her.

"wait til' mikey sees you." yuzuha chuckled softly, leaning against your shoulder.

"yeah, mikey will definitely swoon over you! speaking of mikey, he never stops talking about you." emma nodded in agreement.

"mikey-kun really loves [name]-chan." hinata giggled at emma's statement. "he's like her protector too. always following [name] up and about, picking her up from school and fetching her home. very gentleman of him."

as the five of you left their sight to go into a jewelry store, toman bombarded their dear leader.

"mikey-kun really loves [name]-chan~" baji cackled with a teasing smile, repeating what hinata chimed as he draped an arm around mikey's shoulders.

"never stops talking about [name]-chan, huh?" draken elbowed mikey.

"don't act like you don't talk about emma too, ken-chin." mikey bit back with a smirk, folded his arms across his chest, eliciting a laugh from the boys as the tall blonde's face became red.

"o-oi! i do not!"

"yes you do, ken-chin!"

you momentarily peered out from the windows of the jewelry store as emma, hinata, yuzuha, and senju looked at necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, gently shaking your head at the boys with a smile. you were able to sense and notice them right away due to your high sensitivity thanks to your chaos magic and natural abilities as a witch.

man okay so i’ve been thinking about the ending and the ways i think it’s flawed/my frustrations with it, but also why it does still work enough for me to at least not ruin the series as a whole/how it still tries to fit with the themes?? and i’ve also been applying headcanon to make it work better for me and to make me feel happier about the series overall, so if you’re curious!! take this post lol. (under the cut for length + manga spoilers for the whole series below!)

What initially bugged me about the ending most of all, and I finally managed to put it in words lol, is that there was never an explanation for how Mikey and Takemichi managed to leap back in time and fix everything. Because of that, to me, the key message of “everyone can be saved” and more importantly/centrally, “rely on your friends/don’t try and take on everything alone” gets muddied a bit?? Because it feels more like luck that things happened to work out. Like, Mikey finally puts his full trust in Takemichi and as a result - he ends up killing him!! And seemingly only manages to go back in time due to “luck”/an unexplained miracle. So the message it seems to (accidentally) send is that Mikey was right to try and take on everything alone, because when he put his trust in Takemichi he like. ended up killing him/his worst fear was confirmed??

That perspective on it was enough to put me off the series for a bit ngl, but I still love Tokyo Revengers overall - it has so much good in it that I really wanted to keep liking it, and I do think that the series isn’t completely ruined by the ending! And the main reason I’ve come to think that is because despite everything I just said... even if it’s only indirectly, it is Mikey choosing to open up to Takemichi and trusting him (by releasing his dark impulses after Takemichi said he could handle them) that led to the chain of events that triggered the happy ending. Like, in the end, he believed in Takemichi and trusted him to save him, and was rewarded for that narratively by being given the chance to time leap along with him. The message of “trusting/relying on others” is still there, in the end, even if it’s not as strong as it could’ve been as a result of the indirect way it happens. Hopefully that makes sense, and I hope it can help people come to be at peace with the ending a bit more to think about how it fits the themes of the series!

But also, as for my own reading of the ending... I’ve applied some headcanons that make it work even better for me as well, without actually contradicting canon (I hope). Headcanons are as follows:

So in my mind, Shinichiro’s curse actually had two aspects to it. The first was the punishment for choosing to kill in order to gain the power - but that punishment was technically already paid when Kazutora killed him later on. So Mikey’s curse/dark impulses was, according to this headcanon, not actually a result of Shinichiro becoming a murderer at all - most likely it was just due to the old man’s malice, wanting to hurt the people around Shinichiro as well.

Shinichiro being punished was fair, Mikey being punished for someone else’s crime wasn’t. So maybe the universe (yes, i am giving the universe some level of sentience here lol) gave Mikey a chance to break that curse, if he chose to open up about his struggles and didn’t try and take everything on alone. That could’ve been the condition for breaking the curse for any number of reasons - Mikey has always had a fixation on being “strong” and a hatred of weakness, so maybe the universe just decided that that was a suitable condition, since he’d have to overcome his flaws to do so??

Of course, predictably, Mikey did try and take it all on alone and refused to open up. And I’m not blaming him for that! He clearly thought it was both the only way to protect everyone, and was also deeply afraid of rejection from the people he loved if he actually talked about his issues - on top of letting them down/burdening them. But the point is - if you interpret the curse this way, the final time leap at the end of canon makes sense - it was because Mikey choosing to trust Takemichi to shoulder his burdens fulfilled the condition for breaking the curse. That’s still sort of the case even without headcanons, but here it’s much more directly a result of how the curse functions to begin with, so (at least to me) it feels much less like luck that things worked out??

Hopefully that explanation made some kind of sense LOL i might just be talking nonsense or being pretentious, and if so I apologize!! But for me, I like the concept because it’s just expanding on themes that are already present in Tokyo Revengers just a little more. Personally, if I had to rely too much on headcanon to fix everything, I’d still be super dissatisfied, but since I can tell what Wakui was going for/that message of the story is still present canonically to some extent, I’ve come to feel decently satisfied with the ending overall now!

On another note, I’ve also seen people complain that the show loses impact by making Mikey’s actions a result of the supernatural and not trauma, since it turns the show from an explanation of real-life issues into just a convenient curse that explains everything. I actually think this is a completely fair criticism tbh, but I tend to imagine that what drove Mikey to violence was actually a result of the curse AND his trauma mixing together. Specifically, the curse caused the violent urges, but it was his trauma that led to him being unable to resist them, and his views on strength and weakness that led to him being unable to manage them healthily, if that makes sense??

exposing my views on some takes this fandom has bc why not💀(reason for me to post more)

1. mikey snapping out of his trance because takemichi told him that he’s still his friend

you know I was ready to defend mikey until someone reminded me of chapter 252 and it kinda demolished my entire argument…

I wanted to say that maybe, mikey was so moved by takemichi because he thought he didn’t have any friends left. you know, he tried his best to push them away, to make them despise him, so it would make sense for mikey to think that he has no one left and to get moved by take’s words but we literally have these 3 panels which confirms to mikey that his friends don’t hate him💀

or if it’s not a confirmation for mikey is at least one for US. tho pah clearly talked to mikey and mikey doesn’t seem to be in his dark impulse state so I really don’t know what to think anymore😭😭

2. “mikey openly loves takemichi since he didn’t break down screaming like this over anyone else’s death” (this is the take)

first, it’s obviously made by a shipper, but that doesn’t excuse how wrong this take is

I dislike this take because it’s comparing characters and how much mikey cares about them( friends AND family members)

draken,baji,emma,shinichiro even izana, all of them were important to mikey. just because he externalizes his feelings differently that doesn’t mean they weren’t as important as takemichi is to mikey.

plus let’s not ignore the fact that mikey KILLED takemichi. I’d scream like this too when I just have realized that I killed one of my friends💀💀 if everyone else can freeze then there also can be someone who’s screaming frantically like come on. of course he’s hurt but he’s also shocked

conclusion, this was supposed to be a post where I “do not entirely agree/ don’t agree at all” with these takes but I think I actually agree with the first one😭😭 tho if someone else can explain better what’s happening there i’d be very happy to hear them!!

“Well, well, well. And what do we have here? Looks like a birthday king without any subjects.“ *mondo has a toothy grin as he pulls his bro close, an arm wrapped around him as he starts walking him towards his motorcycle!*

“Sorry, but I’m gonna make sure you get all the attention you deserve today. Hope you’re ready to get a warm welcome ‘cause there’s a huge audience waitin’ just for you. And, on top of makin’ you your own ‘throne’ I’ll drive extra slow today just for you. Aren’t I so generous~?“ *and with that, mondo then proceeds to lift up his smaller bro and places him in a sidecar he’s hooked up to his motorcycle before hopping on and zooming away!*

*he drives for a few minutes before his pace gets considerably slower, turning a corner to reveal that the entire street is absolutely choke-full of Crazy Diamond members! each person is either cheering, waving a banner, tossing confetti and streamers, or doing a combination of the above! the celebration lasts for quite a number of blocks with everyone proceeding to trail behind the two as they pass by, the finale of the little parade being a gigantic banner saying ‘Happy Birthday Shuichi!’ that’s being held by daiya and takemichi!*

“We know it ain’t some fancy gift, but all of us wanted to do somethin’ to celebrate your day.” *mondo then looks over at his bro, a warm smile on his face as he reaches over to ruffle shuichi’s hair!*

“Happy birthday, bro.“

“Ah, Mondo...! E-Ehehe... I suppose I am lacking some subjects for a ‘birthday king’, huh?” He plays along with a laugh, smile widening when Mondo pulls him close. As he starts walking with him, he noticed they were walking towards his motorcycle. That, and what Mondo begins telling him as they do so, makes him give a curious head tilt. “Oh....?” It made him wonder what he meant by that, a large audience... and when he says he’ll drive slower today, he gives an appreciative nod. “Y-Yes, thank you. Ahaha...” He emits a soft noise of surprise when lifted into the sidecar, but uttering a ‘thank you’ as he made sure he was safe and secure in it. Him not going at the usual crazy speeds actually made the ride feel a bit more relaxing in its own way. Then the sight that would also greet him when Mondo slowed down and turned the corner-

“....!!!!” Was one Shuichi did not expect at all. A quiet gasp left him, eyes widened with surprise as his eyes glance around. Now he knew what Mondo meant by a ‘huge audience’: the sea of cheering from the Crazy Diamond members, and the rain of confetti and streamers as he saw banners being waved around, too. He didn’t even mind that he got partly covered with confetti and streamers, either: he was truly in awe.... that such a big celebration was all for him. As if he truly was a birthday king, being welcomed so happily by his subjects... “E...Everyone....” He glances back at seeing the other follow behind him as he whispers that. And when he thought he couldn’t feel anymore touched by everyone’s kindness...

“Ahhh...!” His eyes gaze up at that gigantic banner held up by Daiya and Takemichi that said ‘Happy Birthday Shuichi!’ on it. “A...A-All this.... for me...?” It made his birthday feel so grand, to have everyone celebrate it with him this lively, and happily. Never did Shuichi think before, that his birthday would be this important to so many people like this. An overwhelming feeling of happiness bubbled up in him, and when Mondo claims it wasn’t a fancy gift, Shuichi quickly shook his head in reassurance.

“M-Mondo, this is something that no fancy gift could ever compare to. The fact you, a-and everyone... came out today, did all of this for me, cheering for me so happily; I-I have never received something as grand as this. I-I....” The tears he was fighting hard to hold back, couldn’t help but stream down his face as Mondo ruffled his hair. He then grabbed that arm, and hugged it tight against his chest. “Th-Thank you so much!! Whatever I did to deserve such kindness like this, I’m so happy that I did! This is truly the best celebration ever: I will always remember this day...!!!” He eventually lets go of Mondo’s arm, so that he can first wipe his tears away. Sniffling, he then carefully gets out of the sidecar and leans in to properly hug Mondo this time.... and then, to Daiya, Takemichi, and everyone else... he faces them all, giving several bows of gratitude before he yells out loud enough for them all to hear:

“Everyone!! Thank you so much for celebrating with me, too! The banners, the cheering, the streamers and confetti... I love it all!! You guys and your leader, made this one of the best birthdays of my life! Today will always be a special memory now, thanks to you all...!!!”

summary: the title says it all basically!

a/n: my first tokyo revengers post, yayy!! i thought about writing for five characters at first bc i dropped the bullet points for this one but this post is already a lot longer than the others, so I left it at four (sorry mitsuya)

You were sitting next to your boyfriend at a finely decked table, chatting away with your old friends from school, joking about how tearful the groom had gotten in front of the altar. Despite the wedding reception going on for about three hours already, everyone was still in high spirits. The food was good, cocktail hour had already settled in everyone´s bloodstream and the hired DJ was doing a phenomenal job.

During the reception, the wedding pair, Hina and Takemichi, had been playing various games like answering questions by holding up the shoe of the respective person. Nahoya and Souta had been the ones interviewing the pair and you really admired the way they worked the crowd. But now that the guests had been sitting and chatting for a while it was finally time for the part most of Hina´s friends had been looking forward to: the bouquet toss.

All of you gathered on the dance floor, most giggling like excited schoolgirls, while the more reluctant ones were dragged along by their friends. You had to give it to Mitsuya: he had really outdone himself with Hina´s dress. When she moved to stand in front of the expectant crowd and turned to face the other way, the sparkly embroidery seemed as though it was a million tiny stars on a white sky.

“Okay, everyone, are you ready? We won´t have any cheating, none of you conspired so a special someone catches the bouquet, right?” Draken had snatched the mic and was building the tension among the guests. At the indignant “No!” from the crowd, he raised his hands in defence.

“Alright, alright, just making sure. Well, gentlemen, if your lady is standing on the dance floor right now, I really hope you can afford the wedding because I can see the determination in everyone´s eyes.” A nervous chuckle went through the room, while some of the guys that came alone elbowed their buddies teasingly. “Well then, Hina, if you´d do use to honour.” At the countdown, the bride threw the flowers high up in the air and into the outstretched arms of the waiting girls.

Although he had been part of many fights back when he was a teen, from his seat at the table, Chifuyu wasn´t able to see who came out victorious. That was until Hakkai tapped him on the shoulder with a cheeky grin and pointed him towards the centre of the slowly dissolving sea of people. Beaming at him was you and in your outstretched hands, you held the flower bouquet, proudly showing it off. He could feel his face growing hot and he fought the overwhelming urge to take his suit jacket off.

“Ahhh, baby, I caught it!! Can you believe it”, you squeal, basically throwing yourself into his arms. Despite his thrown off state, he still caught you easily and spun you, around making you giggle even more. Your friends were flocking over, congratulating you on managing to catch the flowers, while the former Toman members patted your (still) boyfriend on the back, asking when the wedding would be held.

After the wedding had ended, you were both sitting on the couch in sweatpants, watching a random rom-com. On the coffee table in front of was your catch of the day, beautifully arranged in a cute vase.

“You know, Matsuno, please don´t feel pressured just because of some bouquet yeah?”, you hum. While you would´ve married him on the spot if given the opportunity, you really wanted to be on the same page for this big step in your lives.

“Don´t worry too much about it, (y/n). Actually, I was happy to see how excited you got afterwards. It was very cute. And reassuring. You remember when I bought you that necklace for your last birthday?” Of course, you remember, you basically never took it off. You tilt your head for him to continue. “Well, it´s not the only thing I got that day.”

The gears in your head started turning when he slid off the couch and got on one knee in front of you. “Matsuno-“

Chifuyu gently took your hand in his and when you looked into his eyes you saw nothing but love and sincerity. “To be honest, this is not how I imagined this to happen. I thought maybe a romantic dinner or a scenic walk in the park but how could I pass up an opportunity like this? While you were clasping your hands over your mouth, trying to hold back tears, Chifuyu pulled out a small black box he had been hiding.

“(y/n), will you marry me?”

As an answer you basically tackled him to the ground, peppering kisses all over his face cupped between your hands, mumbling “yes” over and over again, causing your fiancé to chuckle and a cheeky grin to spread on his face “Eager, are we? But I thought you were supposed to wait with this until the wedding night.”

This earned him a light whack to the chest although there was absolutely no ill intent behind it. Once you had calmed down a bit, he took your left hand again and slipped the slim silver band on your fourth finger before placing a soft kiss on it.

“See, darling, you have nothing to worry about.”

RAN

Normally, Ran tried to keep you away from anything related to his work. But he supposed bringing you to the wedding of his fellow executive was worth it, if it meant he got to see your eyes sparkle like that just a bit longer.

If he wasn´t busy being a gang member, your boyfriend could be quite the romantic. So, it didn´t surprise you one bit, when he pulled you to the dance floor every chance he got. And you couldn´t possibly be bothered by it when this handsome man guided you through every dance so elegantly. It´s not like you´ve never seen him in a suit before, after all, he wore them almost on the daily, but there was something about him tonight that made it impossible for you to look away from him.

“Something the matter, princess? Falling for me again perhaps?” he teased you as he dipped you slightly lower than before, which your heart only survived because you trusted him fully.

“What? Is it forbidden now that I look at my boyfriend? Especially when he put so much effort in his outfit?” You ran your fingers lightly over the muscles that were clearly tangible even through the thick layers of clothing. “But fine, if it bothers you so much, should I maybe look at someone else? Oh isn´t that Kakucho over there? My, he surely knows how to make a suit work for him, wouldn´t you agree? And looking at Rindou, I can see that being pretty must run in the family.”

At this, his hand on your waist tightened and he pulled you closer to him. The low and warning “Princess” that came from him sent a tingle down your spine but you pushed the feeling down. For now. As the dance came to an end, you cupped Ran´s face and give him a chaste kiss on the lips.

“Sorry, baby. You know I´m just teasing, right? I only have eyes for you after all.”

“Well, it wouldn´t be fun if you didn´t drive me a bit crazy every now and then. Especially because you´re always so cute when you make it up to me, yeah?” Whispering the last sentence in your ear, he straightened back up and led you back to your seats. Sometimes you wondered why you even felt bad when he always managed to spin the situation around so that you were the flustered one having to fight down the rosiness spreading to your cheeks.

Your banter went on for the rest of the wedding reception, well, that was until the bride announced that she would now toss her bouquet. At first, you weren´t sure if you should even get up because you didn´t know her that well. However, most of the girls assured you that it would be fine since a lot of them were the partners of other gang members and there had been two separate wedding celebrations anyway. It made sense, you thought, considering who the groom was, that the couple decided not to have the two groups mix.

So, with new spirits, you linked arms with the women you knew best and were swept into the excited crowd. Ran was watching from the sidelines, clearly amused at how easily the enthusiasm of the others rubbed off on you.

What he didn´t expect though, was for you to almost make flying receive while diving for the bouquet. If a scout for an NFL team had been there you would´ve probably been hired. You helped up some of the people that had taken a fall because apparently catching the bouquet was more of a fight when the crowd was made up of gang members and their s/os and then held up the flowers triumphantly.

You spotted Ran still at the table where you left him and sauntered over with a grin and a facial expression that basically read “You know what this means”. The men around your boyfriend lost it with how you were behaving, teasing him about who was actually wearing the pants in your relationship.

Sure, you were doing this partly to get back at him but you also wanted to gauge his reaction to the idea of possibly marrying you. Just like before, he showed a bothersome lack of reaction until you stepped close enough so he could suddenly pull you into him. Now that you were practically sitting sideways on his lap, he wrapped his hand around your waist again.

“Well, if you wanted to marry me this badly, you should´ve just said so, princess. I can´t wait to brag to everyone about my cute little spouse.”

RINDOU

You were having the time of your life, hitting the dance floor with some of your old friends. After not seeing them for what felt like forever you were excited at the chance to catch up with them. Not to mention that one of them actually got married today.

Sadly, your boyfriend Rindou couldn´t attend the wedding, he still had some business to deal with. But then again, you´re not sure how happy the newlyweds would´ve been if you had brought one of the Haitani brothers to their big day.

So here you were, chatting the night away with your besties, which brought back lots of memories from when you guys used to go out together much more often. You´d been exchanging stories about what and who everyone was up to, laughing at stupid ideas or plotting revenge against a cheating ex.

At one point, the bride had to excuse herself because “there was one more thing to do” and your curious stares followed her all the way to the front, where she picked up her bouquet of white and red roses from the wedding ceremony. Instantly recognising what she was on about, your table started giggling and throwing playful threats at each other.

“All of you, don´t even think about catching that bouquet or I´m never going shopping with you ever again”, (f/n) jokingly whined.

“A win-win situation then?” you quipped back, making the whole table erupt in gleeful laughter again. It earned you a flick to the forehead and some glares from the guests around you but none of you really cared.

“Does that mean, if (y/n) somehow manages to catch those roses we´ll finally meet that mystery boyfriend of yours?”, the brunette propped her head on her head and looked at you expectantly.

“I´d have to invite you to the wedding first”, you dead-panned. It´s not like you wanted to keep your relationship a secret from them but how do you explain to your very normal group of friends that your boyfriend was a member of Japan´s most dangerous gang?

“Boo (y/n), you kill-joy. That scared we´d steal him?”

“Ooohhh, maybe he´s a celebrity and that´s why you have to keep your relationship under wraps.”

“Or maybe-“

Before they could make up even more outlandish conspiracy theories about just who your elusive boyfriend was, the guests were asked to gather around for the bouquet toss. You guys were shoving each other like little children, all determined to get your hands on the beautifully wrapped flowers.

What your friends didn´t know, however, as the s/o of Rindou Haitani you had learned some useful tricks on how to win the upper hand in a scuffle and you were damned if you didn´t apply this knowledge here. So, just as you expected, the one holding a bouquet of roses and wearing a smug grin was you.

After you had sat down and your friends stopped complaining about how it wasn´t fair (though you could tell they were happy for you), you took out your phone. You sent Rindou a selfie holding up the roses and a text reading “LOOK WHAT I CAUGHT” and put it face down on the table. It didn´t take long for you to get a response that almost made you snort.

Idiot <;3: Throw it back

Rolling your eyes at his typical stoic behaviour you quickly shot a text back.

You: Nope, sorry, no can do. No returns allowed

You: Don´t you want to marry me, love?

Rindou groaned at your text. He knew that you didn´t mean it and that you were just poking fun at him but he felt a bit guilty nonetheless. Truth to be told, he had been thinking about this for a long, long time. First of all, he needed to be sure the feelings were mutual and while he was sure you loved him, he didn´t know if you were ready to take things to the next step yet. If he still needed more confirmation that you wanted this, it came in the form of your friends.

Brat <;3: voice message (0:22)

When he played the message, he heard the voice he expected only faintly in the background, shouting to give the phone back.

“Hi there, (y/n)´s mystery boy. We´ve never met but your s/o fought pretty hard to get that bouquet just now so we´re guessing you can´t be that bad.” “Also, we want to be invited to the wedding, okay bye!”

Rindou chuckled but decided he´d have to thank your friends when he met them for giving him the push he needed.

Back at the wedding reception, you were pinching the bridge of your nose exasperatedly when the notification sound of your phone pulled you out of your thoughts. What you read made you want to punch the girls by your side, then kiss them.

Idiot <;3: Do you mean the part about you fighting for that bouquet? I thought it was cute

If you had to describe your environment at the moment, the only word that came to mind was fancy. You were currently attending the wedding reception of the daughter of one of Koko´s closest business partners. Given those circumstances, it was natural that everything was a bit more…grand than you´d normally see.

Even though you didn´t expect it at first, you were really enjoying yourself. Standing at the glass front of the penthouse, you switched between admiring the city skyline and your outfit. You were dressed to the nines, happy that Koko chose your attire or you would´ve definitely been underdressed.

With one arm linked with your boyfriend´s and a glass of champagne in hand, you were engrossed in a conversation with one of the brides, while Koko seemed to be talking business with some people you didn´t recognise. What you didn´t pick up on were the lovestruck glances he threw your way here and there. Sure, he picked your outfit but he couldn´t quite get used to how stunning you actually looked in it.

Your attention was pulled away from the woman opposite you when it was announced that the bouquet tosses would be happening. Yeah, plural. Two brides, two bouquets to be tossed. As you were excitedly pulled along, you barely managed to shove your champagne in Koko´s hands, who only shot you an amused wink and watched as you were swept into the forming crowd.

The bride you were talking to before was the first to toss her flowers and they just so happened to fly into the general direction of her friends in the front. There was a burst of laughter from a couple guys who you supposed were buddies of the man who had almost no time to catch his girlfriend but somehow managed to anyway.

Next up was the daughter of Koko´s business partner. Through the commotion the first girl caused, you had somehow ended up further in the front than before. You must´ve imagined it but you could´ve sworn she gave someone in the back a conspiratorial wink as she turned around. The guests counted her down as she gave the bouquet a few practice flicks upwards.

What you didn´t expect was for her to turn back around, stride over and hand the carefully wrapped flowers to you. When you just gave her a confused look, she grabbed your shoulders and spun you around. The guests had parted to make room for Koko who was standing in front of you, looking into your eyes expectantly.

“Hajime, what´s going on?”

“Well, pretty, what does it look like?” With that he got down on one knee, pulling a ring box from the pockets of his black slacks. “There´s been a question on my mind for a while now and I´d like to hear your answer to it.”

“And what would that be?”, you asked and you could do nothing to stop tears from forming and gathering at your lash line.

“Will you marry me, (y/n)?” You thought, in that moment, you could see every star reflect in Koko´s eyes and in your mind there has only ever been one possible answer.

“Yes, Hajime, yes. Yes, I will.”

And while the crowd around you broke out in cheers and shouted congratulations, you barely registered anything except for the man in front of you, who gently slipped the mesmerising ring on your finger. In true Koko fashion, he went all out and bought a ring that probably cost more than some people´s cars or houses. But that´s not what made it valuable to you. He could´ve proposed to you with a fun-sized pretzel and you would´ve treasured it ´til the end of your life.

You pulled your fiancé up and into a kiss that you´d hoped would convey everything you felt right now because you couldn´t possibly put it into words. He seemed to understand though and made a mental note to give you a more detailed confession when you got home tonight. But for now, he was content with simply holding you a bit longer.

“I love you, Hajime.”

“I love you more, pretty.”

☆ Manjiro stood there, a hand to his bleeding nose, not even able to wince at the extreme pain. If he was any lesser, he would have passed out with just that one hit. If anything, he feels a little dizzy.

“Holy shit, Mikey! I’m sorry! You surprised me!”

☆ Mikey is sure that no normal person would react like that when someone tries to spook them a bit.

☆ As you’re tending to him, Mikey asked the question ringing clear in his head.

"Where did you learn to hit like that?" "Huh? I led a gang before."

☆ When Mikey found out, he wouldn’t stop pestering you to join Toman that Draken had to physically cover his mouth and drag him away while mouthing apologies to you.

I want to see Mikey reaction when his crush (the reader) answer Emma question of who will she date in Toman, and the reader bluntly answer Mitsuya, without even blushing or hesistating, like she answer a fact. But the reader does not love Mitsuya, she just RATIONALLY LOGICALLY think he is a good boyfriend material candidate. The reader and Mikey have a crush on each other, but the reader is oblivious and hide her feeling for Mikey. Happy ending (Mikey and Reader end up together) but i want to see the chaos that will happen there. Please make it as chaotic as possible.

You and Emma were classmates back then in middle school, ended up becoming friends then Best friends ti'll you guys reached Highschool. Since you and her are bestfriends, you get to meet Mikey. His older brother which turned out to be the guy you started liking. You and Mikey are completely oblivous towards each others feelings, Emma knows Mikey likes you but she doesn;t have a slightest clue if you like him back since you were really good at hiding secrets. Today is the day where she will find out.

You and the rest of Toman Leaders and Vice-Leaders along with Hina and Emma were hanging out at the Sano household. Mikey and Emma called everyone to come and hangout but surprise surprise...this two didn't plan anything fun to do.

"So you're telling me...You both called all of us out here and didn't plan on what to do?..." Draken scolded the Sano siblings who were both pouting because Draken made them kneel.

"We just wanted to hangout with you guys!!" Emma whined. Draken then took a long and deep sigh.

"Draken, It's fine...stop scolding the two..." Mitsuya chuckled as he patted Draken's back. The two sano's looked at Mitsuya with teary-eyes and hugged his legs.

"Thank you, MAMA MITSUYA!!!" Mikey whined as he clenches onto Mitsuya's legs.

"So...what should we all do?" Chifuyu asked as he looked around.

It was now silent, all of you started staring at each other then Hina slowly raised her hand.

"Maybe we can play party games?...like Truth or Dare, cards or Board games..." She suggested shyly. You looked at everyone who was beaming with joy at Hina's suggestion.

"Who's down to play Truth or Dare!!?" Baji yelled as he flashed his canine smile.

Everyone except Mucho and Sanzu didn't raised their hands.

"Eh? Mucho? Sanzu? you guys aren't joining?" Kazutora asked. The two just nodded, grabbing the cards they raised it. Indicating that they want to play cards instead. After leaving the two leaders of the 5th Division to play cards all of you formed a circle and placed a glass bottle in the middle.

"Everyone knows the rules for T or D right?" Smiley asked, to which everyone nodded. Smiley spinned the bottle and it landed on Hakkai, Hakkai's eyes widened.

"Me?! right of the bat?!" He whined.

"No backsies!" Angry scolded Hakkai, to which he just rolled his eyes at Angry

"I wasn't gonna back out! anyways...I pick Dare?" Hakkai said.

"Wow! Hakkai's being bold for picking Dare!" Mikey teased Hakkai, everyone in the room started smiling.

"Okay! I dare Hakkai to...speak like a girl during the whole game!" Smiley dared Hakkai. Hakkai started complaining while the others started laughing their asses off because of Hakkai's attempt to speak like a girl.

The game continued on without all of you guys having fun but for some reason you can't seem to relax. You were sitting right next to Mikey, That's why...

You have had a crush on the guy since you first met him during middle school days and it kinda feel frustrating that you can't seem to know whether he likes you or not!

While you were in deep thought, you were looking at the bottle as it spun and to your surprise it landed on you.

"OKAY!! It's Y/N's turn!!" Emma shouted, you looked at everyone who were smiling at you.

"Okay okay...I pick truth?" You told Emma, you saw Emma gave a sly mischevous smirk. This gave you shivers to be honest, you know she is planning something.

"If you were to date one of the boys here, who would you pick?" Emma asked you, the whole room felt quiet as Emma dropped the most personal question when playing truth or dare but since you were stupid and didn't know any better you answered...

"huh? oh Mitsuya..." You answered confidently, Mitsuya's eyes widened and so was everyone in the room. Even the two guys who were silently playing cards in the corner looked at you with wide eyes.

You were about to speak up when Mikey made you look at him, instead of a shock expression he was glaring at you.

"M-mikey?" You called out to him.

"WHAT IS IT THAT MITSUYA HAVE THAT I DON'T?! Seriously him?! Even Ken-Chin can say I look hotter than Mitsuya!" Mikey yelled at you.

"Actually No. I won't say that" Draken butts in.

You were dumbfounded for why is Mikey acting like this, Mikey was just staring at you. Not breaking eye contact at all.

"Answer me, Y/N! what? is it because he is taller than me?! I can still protect you even if I'm short!" Mikey whined at you, everyone in the room can't help but hide their laughter from what was going on ---Including Mitsuya.

"Mikey---" Mikey cuts you off when he rushes out of the room and then comes back with some of Emma's clothes.

"Oi! Idiot! what are you doing with my clothes?!" Emma yelled, Mikey didn't listen to her as he handed you Emma's clothes.

"Here! take that! I don't know how to sew clothes but you can take Emma's clothes!" Mikey said, Emma bonked his head making him wince in pain. You started laughing at what you had just witnessed.

"Y/N...I don't think this is the best time for laughing...especially in your position..." Angry whispered at you but you just waved your hand slowly laughing even louder.

"I'm sorry! Is just that...Mikey...Do you like me?" You asked as you turned to Mikey, his ears were in the shade of a deep crimson red and he was bitting his lower lips.

"Yes he likes you, he wouldn't give you my clothes if he wasn't desperat---"

"I wasn't desperate!" Mikey yelled, cutting off Emma. You laughed once more as you handed all of Emma's clothes back to her, facing Mikey; you grabbed his face and lightly placed a soft kiss on his cheeks.

Kazutora and Baji whistling, Takemichi holding Hina's hand and the others just cheering.

"I like you too, Mikey..." Mikey's eyes widened but later on pouted.

"If you like me why did you choose Mitsuya?" He asked, everyone turned quiet once more.

"Well...It was just a logical answer, he cooks really good and he is a big brother and boyfriend material but I don't like him...It was just an out of the blue answer" You replied Mikey's question making everyone let out a sigh. Mikey was contented with your answer.

For the rest of the day all of you continued playing, the only difference is that you were now feeling relaxed while holding hands with the person you liked since middle school and also! Mitsuya can breath normally now because he won't worry about getting his ass kicked because of your answer from earlier, this was the only time he was thankful that a girl didn't liked him.
