Let’s burn the world down together | Namor X NonHuman!Reader
Tumblr media
                           Namor the Submariner x nonhuman!Reader
Context : Talokan and Wakanda are on the edge of waging a war on. They are not the only hidden realms ( before Wakanda reveals itself to the world). Your realm has been hidden as well, scattered across the world. Centuries ago, the most powerful nations decimated your kind, only for you and your people to hide underground. Your people grew tired of hiding, angry for revenge. Maybe, the sake of the princess will gladly lead you to join the war. Will your hunger for revenge be stronger than one of the most powerful forces this world has borne ?
Counts : 5 444 words
Warning : Black Panther 2 spoilers, self-hatred, overthinking, smut, soulmates, english isn’t my mother tongue, so there must have some syntaxes or spelling mistakes i apologize for it,,
Your people are quite some sort of spies. You were always hiding from the surface world as you called them. They took you everything : your lands, your home, your trees, your ressources, your everything. For centuries you have lived underground waiting for the moment you will reveal yourself again. For centuries, the surface world has believed your people were only legends but now with all these superheroes crossing the whole world and coming from the universe, things dramatically changed. Your time has come.
Night visions to see through your realm galleries and pointed ears to hear far away. Your people might be one of the fiercest Mother Nature has borne. You were nightmares on your own. Dangerous fighters you were. You were fearsome of your own. Pretty lullabies about your kind when you could kill for fun, only to see the humans suffer as you have suffered for centuries.
Your people’s name has been rumored all over the world in fantasy books. But one must know you were real. This is mostly one of the reasons she came to you. You thought you had been careful when you came to the surface world but unfortunately for you, she had found you too easily for your people’s sake. You only can be mad at yourself for that terrible mistake. You should be more precocious. You have always known that. Your head advisor would remind you that everyone knew this kind of mistake would have happened and you’d have just rolled your piercing eyes again and again. You had heard those words too much for your own good. You were reckless and couldn’t care less. No one could stop you when you had a goal to score. This thought mostly made you smirking.
Your new goal was to discover more lands than you had done in the last five centuries. This is why you were on that aircraft. This thing from hell made you quite sick. Well, this was your first time and your pride self couldn’t allow anyone to notice it. To be honest, your friends knew what was going on and you could see her face being crossed by that mocking smile. They were holding their laughs. You were about to break the bench as your hands held it too strongly for its own good. Your eyes were sending gentle dead threats to your friends. You hated that fucking plane.
“ We have arrived, Princess. “
You hear the pilot talking to one of your friends. Shuri seemed relieved to finally land on her motherland soil. Your eyes were shocked by the magnificentness of the place. Stars crossing your sage green eyes. This was way beyond what you could ever have imagined. It is far away from the old and dirty galleries you lived in. You knew some of this world's inventions when you walked incognito on the surface world. You had already come into these places they called libraries. You read books about everything that could be useful for your people to know. It was mostly about weapons, technologies and wars. This is what your people live now. Even if you were hiding for centuries, waiting for your time to come. You had never been at peace since that day. You may have barely known your former realm but from what the elders say it was beyond everything the world has seen. Golden trees, magic in its purest form living through every being, harmony and peace all over your realm until the humans’ population grew too much. They were your enemies the moment they crossed your realm’s borders. War destroyed everything as it has happened in Wakanda.
Shuri had explained to you the whole situation with that Namor guy. You were on her side as she came to reach you first. To be true to yourself, you understood Namor’s point of view about the surface world. No doubt you would burn the world down too. Will you let someone else take your biggest dream or will you join him ? No one knows. You wanted to know what she wants from you. It is certain she didn’t know everything about you and your people. The curse people. From magnificent elves to dark elves you fall deep down into obscurity. Literally and figuratively. It was funny to you to see the pure princess coming for darkness to invade her darkening heart. You knew you were drawn to her. You knew you could do something incredible with her. You had waited too long to use the entirety of your power.
“ We don’t have enough time. Riri, this is [ Y/N ]. The one I told you about. “
Shuri introduced you to a younger black woman. Your head moved to greet her. No word leaving your mouth. You had never been a great talker.
“ So she’s the one they want ?  “
You asked, finally breaking your own silence. Riri seems to be happy that you know about her work. To be true, you had heard about her machine being able to find vibranium. As awful as it could sound, you were glad that the surface world had all their eyes focused on vibranium rather than one of your people’s precious metals. Galleries are maybe a good opportunity to lose your enemies and to hide but the moment they will surround your realm, you will be dead. Your people may be one of the fiercest fighters, you could not win over enemies that know all of your hidden doors. You would be doomed.
“ Apparently, yes I am “
The genius inventor said, embarrassed by the whole situation she pulled Wakanda in. She may have the best intentions in the world, she needs to be more careful. You scoffed at this thought that reminds you of someone you knew the most : yourself.
“ When are we going to fight ? “
You asked eager to cross your swords with Talokan’s weapons. You had heard they were one of the most powerful weapons. The ones you couldn’t break. It would be lies to say you didn’t want to try them.
“ We are going to attack first. This way we will have the advantage. We will be in the middle of the ocean. He would not touch Wakanda again. “
Shuri spoke like the true queen she was. She had taken the throne days ago after Namor killed her mother. It wasn’t her who told you this but one of her spies. Nakia if you remembered her name well and your memory was really good. You could remember almost everything from your long life. This was your salvation but mostly your curse. As said, everyone gathered to go to this war. Each soldier from each tribe walks to the battleship. And now, set sail. May the show begin.
                                                       *****
While the fight was occurring on the ship, you helped Shuri to capture the Feathered Serpent God. She didn’t need any help at that point. Her hatred for the man who had killed her mother took control over her body. The winged man was trying to destroy the aircraft he was imprisoned in. She made him mad as hell. So did he. Another smile crossed your face as you watched the two of them. Maybe you just should stay to watch them fighting. It was a delicious spectacle to watch.
What you couldn’t say was that your eyes were only watching the submariner man. He had piqued your curiosity. Something in you wanted to know much more about him. He must have feel the weight of your eyesight on him as he was now watching you. His eyes were full of anger but you seemed to have caught him off guard. A smirk on your face, you were enjoying this.
As things went worse on the ship and mostly because you did nothing useful on the aircraft, Shuri asked you to go back on the said ship. Her voice was full of anger. Your darkness enjoyed it a bit too much. You said nothing but agreed and went there. You didn’t like what was going on but you couldn’t say anything. Your powers only grew stronger each time you were close to all of these people who let their hatred and rage took over their bodies. War has always been something you fed from. It was your little secret.
As you land on the infamous ship, the aircraft flies to the closest continent. Talokan fought really hard. So does Wakanda. You wish your people could be part of it. Things would have been way too easy.
Soon enough, the fight was over. Namor submitted it to Shuri. Talokan lost. Wakanda wins. Both returning to their lands, healing their soldiers and rebuilding their towns. Celebrating for some, plotting for the others. You were quite frustrated. You thought Shuri would fall deeper into darkness but her will and morality were too strong for you to win. Maybe it was better this way than the other. You have to be realistic. If it wasn’t her, then you would find someone else. You already knew who this person would be.
After some goodbyes to your new friends, wishing them the best, you left Wakanda for another secret place. Only if they knew, they wouldn’t be so happy and eager to meet you again. You could feel Okoye’s suspicious look on your back. The one you had felt during your journey with them.
                                                         *****
You follow Nakia’s indications about the cave’s location. You had overheard her when she was explaining to Okoye where she found the princess, now queen of Wakanda. Due to this, you were now at the edge of a very small village on the Yucatan peninsula between the forest and the sea. In no time, you had found the infamous cave. You weren’t a quite good swimmer. You
“ The Moon will always respond to the Ocean’s call. You know this more than anyone else. ”
You said to the Ocean King, in your dark military outfits while he was in his golden ornaments robe. Only the moonlight that crossed the cave’s walls was reflecting through your elvish gold sword. She never left you on any occasion. She was the last thing you had from your past civilization.
“ You were on Wakanda's side. And now you are here before me, trying to get an alliance. “
The mutant responded, with wrath controlling his voice tone. His jaw was tense. You were quite amused by this even if you really deserved it. Your eyes couldn’t leave the man’s face. There was something mesmerizing about him. Something appealing. Something you couldn’t resist.
“ Maybe if you had come first, I'd be by your side now. “
You confessed nonchalantly. You had always been attracted by the most interesting offers people can propose to you. Your allies' choices were never fixed exceptionally in this kind of situation where both reasons were to listen and discuss. Listening to people’s darkness made you choose your camp. His politics were relatable to you. You could do the same things for your own people.
“ What do you want from my people ? You came here without us inviting you. “ “ I mean have overheard your location, sorry not sorry. You already hated the surface people too much. So do I. “
You cut him off. A playful smirk was seen above your face making his face tensing up. You could see a tint of curiosity crossing his eyes. He was suspicious about you and he must be.
The meeting was quite interesting. You had the chance to learn more about his people. He explained this to you as a sort of a warning. He wanted to be sure you knew where you had fallen as he had done it with Shuri weeks ago. He wanted you to know how powerful he was. You had seen him and his people fighting against Wakanda forces. You know what they are made of. You knew how great warriors they were and you showed him how you respect his people. More you listened to him, the more you grew curious about the king and his realm. As a mark of mutual trust - as little it was - you told him about your people and what you’ve been through. Both of you understood quickly how similar you were at some points.
You didn’t know how long your conversation lasted but it felt like none of you wanted it to end. He had offered you to visit his realm and to lend you a submarine suit they had stolen from that american team who started this whole war between the two vibranium possessor nations. With a little laugh, you had shown him how useful your control over darkness could be used to. You had seen the mesmerizing look in his eyes. Something had shifted. Something was wrong. You couldn’t find any word to put on. You were attracted to this man. It was too much to bear it alone. Your shoulders would break faster than those last centuries have tried to. You could feel his body heat crossing yours as he was so close to you. Chest against chest. Your hands on his muscular chest. His hands holding your hips. His lips brushing against your. You deeply wanted him to press them against yours and you wanted to slap yourself for this thought. You wouldn't think about anything else as his dark piercing eyes were locked into yours. He wasn’t going better than you. Both tensed and attracted to each other. You were rising something that was buried deep inside him, in a place he thought unable to unlock. Not like he wanted to.
Finally, his lips took possession of yours. Both dancing with roughness and an unknown passion. Both fighting for dominance. Both being made for each other. You didn’t want this to end, nor will he. His hands were desperately all over your body. Your fingers were pulling his black hair. Pleasure was running through your veins. You couldn’t fight against and you didn’t want to. You were too needy for him so he was for you. You wanted him to take away this unpleasant feeling while your body was burning. Heatwaves broke on your inner core. You needed him to do something. You could feel his neediness against your lower abdomen. Soon, the black leather corset above your jetblack long sleeve shirt and the latest will leave you too quickly for your taste. His gold ornament robe left his body too quickly for his own taste. Both of you were already panting without knowing why.
As things were becoming hotter every second that passed, you finally used your powers to be sure no one would interrupt or hear you. Like Wanda’s hex, your own barrier made with darkness will isolate the both of you from his realm. A devilish smile on his face, he seems to approve.
Soon enough, his lips were all over your body. They were giving hot kisses on your neck and your shoulders. Love bites against your hot skin. You were moaning softly his name. It wasn’t enough for him. He needed more. Still kissing your neck and playing with your hardening nipples, he led you to his bed. You let yourself fall on it when your knees tripped over the mattress. In your fall, you took him with you. He was above your whole body. You love this feeling a bit too much. Your legs encircled his waist, making your lower self thrusting against his hardening self. You snatched a deep moan from him. His eyes full of lust met yours once again. Oh yes, you will burn the world down for him.
“ Please do something …”
You needily whispered to his ears making him shivered. Without wasting more time, he took off your training pants and boots, throwing them somewhere else in the little room. Both of you couldn’t care less at this very moment.
“ Anything my queen wants. “
He said using his deep voice, full of lust and neediness. As said, he continued his kissing trails down to your inner core. You started being a moaning mess and he hasn’t touched you yet. A powerful shiver stroke your body at the thought of him doing whatever he wants with his sinful mouth. His tongue against your sensitive core was one of the most skillful things you have ever met. You couldn’t think but only moaning his name again and again. Your eyes were closed and tense. He could enjoy the show as he lifted his own eyes to watch over you. His tongue was still eating you out. His fingers were playing with your burning inside. Oh yeah, he was proud of the effects he was creating in you. Soon or later, he will be too addicted to it. It will be fatal for him as it will for you. He must protect you.
As he felt your orgasm coming, he decided to stop everything, making you moaning in complain. He laughed at your reaction. You will soon be served what you want. He couldn’t wait to bury his hardening self deep inside your burning core. His body was all above yours. His hands were from both sides of your head as he placed himself between your shaking legs.
A part of you was surprised to see how gentle and careful he was with you, as if he could break you in one move. He was reckless, eager for revenge. He could put the whole world in fire and ashes. He could kill without hesitation just to be sure his people were out of danger. You were just like him. Maybe this was what drew you to him and him to you.
Your drowning thoughts were cut as he entered your inner core. A concerned look was on his face as you came back to your body, moaning. His own moaning joining yours. He let you adjust to his size and when it was done, his rough thrusts started. They threw you to the stars in a few seconds. Your nails were dug into his muscular back. His hand next to your head held him still above you while the other one was running one your body before meeting your burning nerves ball. You were a moaning mess.
Pleasure in its purest and strongest form. None of you lasted so long. Soon enough, both of you reached your powerful orgasms, him filling you deep inside. Your body will be full of bruises and love bites as his body will be full of scratches.
Now, both of you were panting next to each other, a happy and relieved smile on both your faces as your eyes were locked into his. You were over the edge from what he gifted you. You were over the edge to be the unique person able to see this side of him. He was over the edge to be the unique person able to see this side of you.
Now, he had to go back to his duties and so do you. His cold and cruel attitude was back on his face. The God ruler of Talokan gave you a last kiss on your forehead before dressing himself again and leaving to accomplish his royal duties. The barrier you created formerly was lifted. Darkness coming back to your body and to wherever you stole them. It could be from people, places, animals or vegetables. You didn’t care. You only needed them to be powerful. You laid there a quite long time, your mind playing with you again.
                                                        ******
After your encounter with Namor, you came back to your realm. You didn’t want to leave at first. You knew he didn’t want to. His eyes spoke for him as he let you go back to the cave’s waters. A goodbye kiss was the only thing you could give him. His hands were holding your cheeks. His thumbs sweetly cherished your skin. He was too sweet to be real. You were drowning into the sadness of his eyes. Something inside you was breaking. You didn’t know what but could only imagine what.
You would do anything to meet him again. It was really strange for you who had never listened to your heart’s whispers. They were too strong. He raised things you had never known possible and hidden deep inside your being. Two of the strongest rulers of the world are weak for each other. It was quite funny as you thought of it. If it was to be known by your enemies, they will use it against both of you. They will raise an inhuman rage that no one has ever known yet. You felt what Namor could do to this world. His darkness spoke to you, telling you his deepest and darkest desires. You wanted to do anything to make them come true.
One of his people talked to him in a tongue you didn’t know. His face changed when he saw the warriors and by the name he said, you knew it was Namora. You kinda like this woman. She was fierce and ruthless. Then, he told you it was time for you to leave. His voice was cold. He didn’t want you to leave nor did you do. Both had to act as nothing was going on.
As soon as you left the undersea cave that leads to his temple, you found a bus that was going to the closest airport to get a plane to go back to [ Your Continent ] undergrounds where your people are hiding. Sadly for you, your people weren’t located near the sea. Mountains have been the best place you could have found. When cities became too huge for you to stay underground, most of your kind moved to the countryside. Galleries were built throughout mountains.
The truth was that you tried to comeback home. He would never know. You were sure of that. Things went really wrong the very moment your feet landed on the airport soil as a surprise was waiting for you there. Something you had thought about. The Americans were on your back. They were waiting for you. How could you be surprised when they had almost all the superheroes under control at some point. You didn’t fight when they arrested you. There is always something else at the back of your mind. Your actions were always too calculated for your own good. Evil must always be prepared. Let them believe they got you. Your people's hatred will only be bigger as days pass with you being imprisoned at the Raft. A prison on the sea when Darkness is the Ocean’s most beloved person.
As much as you wish to hope, you couldn’t count on someone you had barely met. You were too old to trust people based on the first impression they gave you. Whatever happens between the both of you, you couldn’t. A part of you wishes too. Maybe you should have kept that seashell. You hated yourself for not stealing it. Now, you will stay there for how long the Old Gods know. Your wicked game will cost you everything. You will have all your time to think about a revenge plan. When you won’t be hating yourself for your stupidity and your humans’ worlds ignorance. You were sure : you hated them more than anything else. The surface world must be burned down.
                                                        ******
You were locked for four months into that damn glass cell on that damn Raft. You were alone there. An army of skillful soldiers were guarding you. An army of the Earth enemies were backing you. Oh you could use their inner darkness to break free from this ugly place. Only if they hadn’t some sort of bracelet blocking your powers. The moment they put them on your wrist, you felt empty. An emptiness that could break the whole universe. Hatred filled your arching heart.
There was something else that made you unable to attack. A little gift Namor has granted you before leaving. You had been feeling sick a few days after you arrived there. You knew at that very moment. Something had changed deep inside you. From this moment, you were much more on your guard. You needed to be sure no one knows but the scientists there were on the lookout for every change. You knew they were testing whatever they created in that laboratory on the prisoners. You prayed everyday they wouldn’t come for you. You could lose that little gift. You needed to escape. You needed to go back to Namor. It wasn’t time to panic. Your hormones were making a mess of your emotions and you already hated it.
You were laying on your back on your miserable bed. Your hands were resting on your red shirt with its white sleeves. You were zoning out. You were sent deep inside your thoughts. You were your own darkness prisoner. Once again. Eyes looking at the gray and white ceiling until the Raft’s sirens were ringing throughout the prison. It seemed there was an attack here, you thought. You had no energy to move. Your curiosity couldn’t make you move. Screams were heard all over the prison. Laughs were heard too. You knew from who they were - the other prisoners. They seemed to enjoy the attack too much. A part of you wanted to know what was going on and especially who was attacking the most famous impenetrable prison. A part of you was hoping Namor would come to save you but how could he know ? Finding this prison on the sea was the easiest part of the game for the ocean’s ruler. His people had barely escorted you to the surface when you had left the cave. They were all over the ocean, maybe some had seen something. Maybe you had too much hope. You had barely created an alliance with the Feathered Serpent God.
As screams became louder and louder, you knew they were close to your cell. You couldn’t know how close exactly they were and now you were afraid they would come for your child. Your protective hands were holding your belly that was barely showing. You finally decided to move from your bed and stand up. Your cell was bigger than anyone in a real prison could see. You had to walk for almost three meters to reach the translucent glass that nothing could break.
One of your hands left your belly to hold you against the glass. You tried your best to stretch out yourself to see what was going on. Lights were shut down. Only the red one was going on and off. Bodies were scattered across the corridor. You flinched and gasped when something hit your cell’s glass. Then a face you hadn’t seen in months was presented to you. Rage could be seen on that face before they could see how shocked your face was. A worried look was on that face. It didn’t stop the shock from crossing your body. You couldn’t feel such intense emotion. You were too scared that something could happen. Tears rushes down your face. You couldn’t control them. How could you at that very moment ?
Then, the tall man asked you to shift your place for a safer one - it wasn’t that easy due to the tiniest cell you were in - and he tried to break the glass with his superstrength. He was in a hurry. He has to save you from this place. He has to be quick. He won’t leave with you and both of you know this. As it didn’t work, he tried to break the
“ Tell me you are safe and sound. Please tell me this. “
His voice betrayed his cold and angered face. The only thing you could do was running your hands all over his cheeks. You need to feel him close to you. You needed to be sure he really was there. You needed to be sure it wasn’t a dream or one of your darkness’ games. Some weight was lifted from your shoulders. It wasn’t the time for this kind of sweet reunion. Time was urging you to leave as soon as you could. Backups would come soon. If it wasn’t one of these superheroes the surface world has. Even if usually you were curious to meet them, today there wasn’t any time for this.
“ [ Y / N ]... We must leave this place now. I’ll protect you. There’s no fear to have. Now come with me.. “
You didn’t respond but followed him as he took your hand into his wet and rough hand. You tried to follow his footsteps but with your condition - he still didn’t know about - and your powers stolen from you, you couldn’t be as quick as he was. Your stamina - that traitor - had already left you to be hidden somewhere else.
You did your best. His people were fighting harder and harder against the Raft’s soldiers. When you reached the edge of the prison, he placed a respiratory mask on your face. You knew what would happen next. With a concerned look on his face, he asked you if you were ready to go. Deep inside him, he knew something had happened for you to react this way. You looked at your back and saw his people coming back to the waters. It was time for both of you to leave. They wouldn’t go before their king and his lover were safe in the ocean. So, without any hesitation, you gave a little pressure on his hand that hasn't left you. He took you into his arms and plunged into the cold water. You wish you had your powers to protect you from this intense coldness. You wouldn’t last long enough in the cold sea. Your eyesight started to see darkness before your eyes were shut down. Now, you were panting unconscious into Namor’s arms. You were too far away to hear his war threats to the surface world. He finally might have seen the powers blocker bracelets.
                                                          ******
You remembered nothing. You didn’t know how long you had slept. It wasn’t a peaceful sleep. Nightmares have taken control over your sleep. Sometimes - when you were sleeping - you could feel a soft pressure on one of your hands. At some moment, you finally emerged from your sleep. Fear was the first thing that crossed your mind as your hands automatically held your belly. A chuckle was heard near you. You should have looked around in the first place.
“ You are safe. You're okay and so they are, my dear. “
As surprise came across your face, you turned to look at the voice. It was at that moment that you realized you were in Namor’s temple on the ground. The said man was sitting next to you, laying onto his own bed, in his golden ornaments and robe. He was shining something you had really seen but in the moonlight. This made you sighed in relief. It was finally over. Everything was over. You were safe. Both of you were.
“ I am glad both of you are safe. Attuma has checked on both of you. “ “ How did you know where I was ? “ “ I… “
For the first time, the submarine mutant was hesitating. This hesitation was quickly replaced by a small smirk as he ran a hand into his dry hair.
“ I have ears all over the whole coast. It took me time but I finally came to you. I was right to do so. I was right to listen to my instinct only. And here you are in full flesh. “
As the King was looking at you, he placed one of his hands on your belly. When his healer had told him about your condition, he was at the same time worried, happy and angered. His hatred for the surface world was behind comprehension. It was reinforced by what they had done to you. Soon you had learned that Namora, who was skeptical about your comeback among them at first, was willing to drown the world. You were caring for their king’s heir. A half-blood child. Looking at both your powers, they will rule the surface world one day. All of his people were sure of that as the rumors broke all over his realm.
“ Let’s burn the world down together when our child will be born “ Now you needed a way to bring your people there. You couldn’t stay too long from them. You couldn’t abandon them. Both your realm together, the more powerful you will be. The surface world wasn’t going to be ready. But for now, there are better things for you to think about like enjoy the rest of your pregnancy with your submarine king.

summary: Namor can't help himself when he fantasizes about you and the night you spent together. The God is clouded by desire and needs, as you're the only one who's ignited a fire within him. If he can't have you, he'll create a world where it's possible, even if it's in his mind.

➴ feel free to send me more thots
I have lived decades upon decades and have never found a woman who kept me on my toes like her. I’ve grown lonely and impatient. Death has been a never-ending theme in these forsaken waters, outliving everyone I’ve ever loved. She showed me that there is more beyond the surface. I was plagued by the memories of last night and the sound of my name rolling off of her tongue. I found myself throbbing, needing to feel her lips pressed against my skin. I took my length in my hands, stroking myself in slow motions, imagining how it would feel to have her lips wrapped around it. I felt my erection grow hard and heavy at the thought.
With a frustrated sigh, I sat on my bed with my legs parted slightly, biting back a rising moan as the roughness of my palm drove me to sweet insanity. I couldn’t resist the visions of her sucking and gagging, kneeling before me. I was thrusting against my own touch with the same desperation from the night before. The rush of heat runs through me at the thought of taking her to my bed and making love to her endlessly. Fantasizing about the noises and faces that she might make sent me over the edge. I stiffened my grip around my dick, allowing myself to embrace the friction as I raised my hips to grind against my hand. I settled into a regular rhythm, imagining her tight walls instead of my palms.
“Oh fuck” I emitted a low moan as I wiped off the thin coat of wetness from the tip. I felt as if my body was on fire, and the calm waters didn’t subside my body’s desires.
Namor began breathing heavily, curling his toes as flashes of her face clouded his mind. His pace went faster, moving his hand up and down while slightly squeezing his shaft. Namor thought of her skin that glistened against the moonlight and stars. Her lips parted slightly as she pushed her hips against his. He imagined her soft pussy getting wet just for him. She’s as hot and slick around his dick as his fingers. Now, his head is genuinely spinning and shifting between reality and fantasy. He had no choice but to pause to catch his breath before beginning again.
The feathered God released a strangled gasp as he felt his abdomen tense and coil, begging for release. Trapping his erection in his hand, he continued grinding against himself in circular directions. Envisioning himself rubbing against her entrance. Arching his back and spreading his legs further, pleading for more until he could no longer hold it in. Finally, his hand was engulfed with wet heat, and he thrust his dick until he felt raw against his grasp.
A sense of clarity came over him after he reached orgasm. The illusions he created in his mind slowly slipped away, and the realization of what he had just done was all that was left. He would do it again and again without shame. Namor knew it would be a while until he could have her under him again. But that didn’t mean a God couldn’t dream.

Okay, let’s talk about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, shall we?
*spoilers*
Duh
The beginning: I saw a tweet today where the author said they hated that the movie killed T'Challa with an illness and I have to say I disagree. Not only because logistically there was no way for Chadwick Boseman to act in the movie for a death scene, but because (for me personally) I don't think I would have liked it any other way. I like that T'Challa died of an illness for one simple reason: The whole movie sort of felt like a catharsis for the cast and crew. No one knew Boseman had cancer except his immediate circle. I still remember opening twitter and literally not believing what I was seeing. The way they chose to go about it, and then all the time the devoted to grief and loss felt like a release for everyone involved. And if this was the way they thought would best help them work through their grief in their art, I don't think it's right to say you wished it happened a different way.
Okay, time for something fun after all that heavy: Queen Ramonda's speech in the beginning was amazing.
The scene of the Dora Milaje in the Wakandan outpost coming out of the hall was amazing.
I loved that the people of Talocan had siren powers
Riri Williams. I have a problem with making a significant part of a plot revolve around a person who needs to be kept alive, especially if that person isn't the main character. I find that it leaves me feeling like there was no point to the character. In the case of Riri, I can't decide how I feel. I like her character and I was happy to see her introduced. I think a Black Panther movie was the perfect place to introduce her one, because she's Black and was clearly written to have a deep love, respect, and admiration for Wakanda, and two because she's a technological genius like Shuri. But something about her story feels... well, it just doesn't feel right. Like a puzzle piece that *seems* to fit in a space, but also doesn't. I think if she might have had more agency. Or maybe if they'd let her feel bad that her design put Talocan in danger. She didn't make that machine to help the CIA or anyone, she built it to spite one of her college professors. They don't explain it in the movie how the machine got into the hands of the government, but they do make it a point to say that she built it for an assignment. This leads me to believe that it was either stolen or given to the CIA without Riri's permission. If she'd been allowed to explain that (or if Shuri had just mentioned it) I'm not sure it would have changed anything, but it might have made Riri's story feel more full.
Namor did nothing wrong. He was completely justified in everything that he did. lmao okay, no, he killed the queen of Wakanda, but listen here: He had his reasons. Namor, at heart, is a good man, and I truly believe that. He want's what's best for his people. T'Challa wanted the same, and for him, the right thing to do was to open Wakanda to the world. He couldn't have known he was putting Talocan in danger, too. I think Wakanda is gentler on the world than Talocan, and that's were the biggest issue comes from Wakanda was never colonized. Their land, their histories, their people, their resources were never stolen from them. They watched all that happen to other people. But watching bad things happen to other people is different than having those things happen to you. By contrast, Talocan was borne from a colonized civilization. The flower that gave them their powers and abilities was used as a treatment for smallpox. Their legends even say that their god gave them the flower to build a new home, the implication being that they needed a new home because their old one was stolen from them. Because of their vastly different histories, their reactions to the possibility of outsiders trying to steal from them is vastly different. Namor has the right of it and by the end of the movie, he still does. The surface world will come for the Wakandans and the people of Talocan will be ready. His methods may not have been sound, but his rationale was.
Battle orcas. No, I will not be adding context.
Everett Ross was married to Madam Hydra and I just can't get over that.
Talocan seemed like a more accurate underwater city than any I've seen, and I love that.
I wish Shuri hadn't made a new heart-shaped herb and had become the Black Panther because of her technological skills. A Black Panther Iron Man suit, if you will. I didn't feel like there was enough justification for her to make the herb and then take it herself. After she wakes up from the ancestral realm, she said that she drank the herb to see her family, but none of them came. It's a heartbreaking scene, but it also doesn't make sense when you remember that Shuri doesn't believe in any of that. Even Killmonger said in her vision that she didn't believe in the ancestral plane. I think Shuri's time would have been better spent making a Black Panther suit that gave her almost all of the abilities of the traditional Black Panther. I think what they were going for was a full circle catharsis moment where Shuri couldn't make the herb in the beginning of the movie but then she did near the end. And that would make sense, except she didn't make the herb to heal anyone. She made it so she could get revenge on Namor. And I don't think that's a good way to tie the herb to the theme. Edit: I’m seeing your replies to this point. My opinion still stands as of now, but I do appreciate the other perspectives and it’s giving me something to think about whenever I watch the movie next.
I like the Shuri didn't become queen of Wakanda at the end. I don't think being queen would have suited her at all.
The end credit scene really punched me in the heart.
I forgot to mention M’baku’s “Bald headed demon” line. And apparently it was improvised which makes it so much funnier.
All in all, I loved this movie. I've seen it twice now and I can't wait to see it again.

______________________________________________________________
Dawn broke over the sky as the sun chased away the leaden clouds. I looked beyond the water to the city of gold of Birnin Zana that had been built over hundreds of years ago. Under the sunshine, the city rose like a blinding beacon and it reminded everyone of the home to the most technologically advanced nation of the world. I closed my eyes and all I could hear was the beating of my heart and the murmuring of the sea waves kindling their own hypnotic symphony. Though, I had been much too anxious to admire the beauty of the sea and the skies that crowned over it.
‘What happens now?’ I pondered to myself.
Mother would curse my name at the Gods if she were to realize that I had fallen involuntarily in love with the man that was a threat to our people and the city. Countless have been the times where I examined my heart and searched deep within myself and I was more certain in my decision that he was the man I loved. Forever.
All the sudden, I feel the cool sea waves crash against my feet, sending chills down my spine. I open my eyes and notice a dark figure emerging from under the waves. I could not help it as my lips wreathed in a smile, knowing it was him. I ran towards Namor and he laughed as he swept me into his arms and inhaled the scent of my perfume, my hair and the cold morning air on my skin.
“Teech ts'o'ok in echado u menos,” he whispered gently in my ear in his native tongue. His soothing voice tantalizing every cell of my being. I flushed under his gaze and reach my arms out taking his face into my palms, his beard slightly tickling my fingers.
“I’ve missed you too, K'ukulkan.”
A soft chuckle escapes from Namor. “It sounds nicer coming from the lips of the woman I love than all the soldiers and generals that are in my command.”
I giggled at his words and pressed my lips against his. The smell of his skin, the feel of his strong arms around my torso brought tears to my eyes as I felt a deep longing to be with him, and I wondered whether he thought the same as me when he had to return to Talocan. These differences between the Wakandans and Talokanil always made my ire rose, especially since we could very well put our differences aside and learn to become powerful allies instead of bearing such hatred for one another. It’s what aaba would have wanted and possibly our ancestors too. To live in harmony, just as Namor and I had chosen to do so.
“(Y/N),” Namor spoke, a smile touching his lips. “Do you recall when we first met and I had shared the story of the Spanish man with you, who cursed me with the nickname, el niño sin amor.”
“The child without love,” I whisper, sighing heavily. “It is where you took your name from.”
“Yes,” Namor replied. “Because I had no love for the surface world.”
I look at him, puzzled at his reasoning for telling me this story as I had already been familiar with it. Namor reached his hand to my face, and gently wiped the tears from my eyes.“You calm the storm in my heart, in yakunaj,” Namor continued, “You are the peace that I have not been able to find in a very long time.”
He takes my hands into his and all the sudden, my hear begins to race in my chest as he is gazing up at me...in a kneeling position.
Namor paused momentarily before saying, “The Spanish man’s curse has broken when I laid my eyes upon you. The only surface dweller I have come to love and I want to hold your hand as we walk through eternity together. Will you marry me, (Y/N)? Will you rule Talocan alongside of me as my Queen?”
I stood in front of the man I loved and my hands began to tremble at his proposal. I felt the hems of my dress tickle my ankles as the cool breeze blew. I sighed and gazed at the beauty yet mysterious vastness of the ocean while I tried to make sense of Namor’s words but nothing could escape my lips.
Though his words struck me, I knew I would not be able to live in Talocan as I had grown very fond of my own quiet world in Wakanda whereas Namor’s world never stopped. My lips quivered as thoughts of living under the enormity of the ocean roamed my mind.
“H-how?” I finally ask, looking back into his mysterious eyes.
“When I return to Talocan, all I can think about is you. When I am supposed to be thinking of important matters regarding my people and my kingdom, all I can think of is how you want to be hidden away from the rest of the world. (Y/N),” he said passionately, “I want you by my side as the soulmate that I have been searching for for all these centuries.”
I wanted to close my eyes and step into the shelter of his embrace, but for some odd reason my legs wouldn’t budge.
“In ch'ujuk, I do not doubt your love for me, I have never.” I say, smiling sadly, and as the next words came out of my lips, I almost felt his heart breaking into a million pieces before me. “I...cannot live in Talocan and I promise this is not because I do not have love for you. I just cannot abandon my Mother in such a way and I am not prepared in my heart to take upon such an incredible task. I know nothing of ruling a kingdom, especially one that is underwater. I feel that I am unfit.”
Namor sighs and as he stands, he looks beyond the sea where the sun reflected upon the sparkling waves.
He turns his attention back to me and wraps his muscular arms around my waist, bringing me closer to him. “I understand your worries, in yakunaj. Just know in your heart that my old soul will always belong to you, and whenever you are ready, it matters not when, I am willing to wait and so is Talocan.”
“Do you promise?” I whisper.
Namor chuckled and softly kissed my forehead. “If you promise to keep my heart then I promise to leave it with you.”

If you were only ever created to serve Arishem, it did not feel like it.
Not when you’d grown to cherish your people in the South Pacific and the entirety of Earth as reverently as you did and not when your heart, artificial or not, belonged to a man from beneath the sea.
In the aftermath of Ajak’s death, of Sersei’s frantic call that detailed what was happening–it didn’t take you too long to gather your belongings, to retrieve all the documents you needed just in case before you rushed behind your house, down the pathway and towards the secluded formation that was hidden deep behind your home.
In the cove you’d created decades ago, he waits for you as he always does. Somehow always finding his way back to your little hideout, again and again, as devoted as the waves that lapped at your shore.
Skin beaded with water, dark eyes pinned on you, always on you–the man you find does not match the names he’d been given over the past five hundred years, a fraction to your own existence.
K'uk'ulkan. Niño sin amor. Namor.
Legends only ever depicted him as one of two things: The merciless feathered serpent god worshipped by a long existing culture or the child without love, he who would light the world aflame if only he was not shackled to the ocean.
Here in this refuge you’d created, however, you’d learned that he was more than just that. Had spent nearly four hundred years unearthing every cavern of his mind, body and soul.
Without saying it, you know his worry has guided him through the currents today.
“I came to make sure you were unhurt after the Earthquake,” he says lowly, lacking the teasing lilt he often greeted you with. “But it seems you might know more than me already...”.
The armour you wear is dappered in metallic [favourite colour] with [complimentary colour] accents, something he has not seen before in all of your years together.
Wearing it not even a week after the world felt Tiamut’s movement is all the evidence he needs, a damning fact that the tremors felt all over the world are more than what they are.
Slowly, Namor rises from the water and as he does, sea-foam bubbles around him, the worry you weren’t even aware had begun to fester dispersing just the same.
“I take it this is not for pleasure?” he continues, his nonchalance contradicted by the twitch of winged ankles.
“I’m afraid not,” you reply in lieu of your normal greeting.
His eyes linger on the glow of your hands, of the way your shoulders and arms are taught in a way he is unfamiliar with and you’re warmly reminded that he is not the only one who has been made bare before in this cove.
As detailed as you can, you explain to him what you had learned in the past few hours: Arishem had created your family to evolve the human species, not for their own betterment; but so their progression could provide enough energy for a Celestial to emerge from the Earth’s core once the Deviants were eliminated.
The world is ending, you reveal, almost choking on the cold, ugly truth.
When Sersei had explained it the first time, between rasped breaths and soft cries, you didn’t allow yourself time to lament what it all meant.
But now, seeing what you’ve come to consider the architect of your very being in front you, the truth unravels in a way that you cannot deny what it is.
An anchor that will drown you, or has drowned you already, considering all you’ve lost before. The people, memories, the love.
"We’ve never fought a Celestial before,” you admit, thinking of Thena, anguished and desperate, the echo of infinity seared into her gaze, before you think of your people and of him. “But we want this planet to be our last. I want it to be my last.”
It is not the words, but they might as well be.
In an instant, Namor grips your wrist, pulling you back into him as you huff with surprise.
His arms band around your waist, keeping you caged where he can nose along the column of your neck, hear the hitch in your breath at his closeness.
“If this is then true, tell me why I shouldn’t persuade you to stay with me?” he growls lowly at the base of your throat, easily shifting between calm and not, as fluid as the sea. “I could compel you to stay here where it’s safe, where you can stay here with me,”.
You can’t help but groan under the ministrations of his teeth on your skin when he begins to nibble, hands moving towards his face as you summon every ounce of sensibility in you to turn his head away. A hard feat, given the way your blood sings as slivers of his siren melody bleed into his words.
“Because though you would rather see the world burn, you would protect your people by any means necessary,” you gasp, feeling your fondness for him swell when he stills, caught.
For Talocan, Namor would protect his Kingdom by any means and at any cost. Even if he despised the rest of the world and would gladly burn the surface asunder, he would not condemn his people to burn, too.
You and your family, as splintered as they’ve come to be, are the greatest gamble he can take to save them and everyone else. Even if it means he can’t join you.
Silent in his defeat, Namor–sweet, enchanting Namor– tilts your head to his languidly, leaning forward and bringing you in a kiss that makes you both want to leave and surrender yourself to him all at once.
Humming, he slots your mouths together even more as he shifts you in his arms, and you have to swallow the moan the bubbles in your throat once he pulls away, fingers digging into the flesh of your hips.
“The ocean has given me many miracles, mi puksik’al. But it has also given me many tragedies...” he says hoarsely, after a moment.
Leaning his forehead against your own to stare you deep in the eyes, it’s a wonder he’s only ever been called cruel and monstrous things when he all he is is bewitching. Wondrous even as he pleads: “I cannot afford one more, [Your Name].”
As he breathes, you press your nose against his and do the same. Feeling your heart break and mend all at once as you take life from his breath.
When you first landed on Earth, you found that there was no greater resource on the planet than its ocean. Deep, vast and endless. A force that could give as easily as it took away.
You’d revered it and its various forms the same way you did the man before you. Perhaps less than him now, you admit in this moment, when he leans back and brushes his lips against the crown of your head.
“Come back to me,” comes the murmur. “Meent’ uts”.
Closing your eyes, all you can do is nod as you take in the scent of salt and tears, rasping, “E lele le toloa ae ma’au i le auvai” as you surge upward to breathe him in once more.

NOTES:
Since all the Eternals all belong to different ethnic groups, Reader is Polynesian. I imagine her living somewhere on the island of Niue, as it is a coral atoll and has natural coves and chasms already though you can imagine otherwise.
The way Reader “takes life from his breath” when pressing their forehead against Namor’s references the Maori people and the action of the hongi, which recalls the Māori legend of the creation of the first earthly woman, Hineahuone. She was formed from clay by the creator god Tāne, who then breathed life into her nostrils.
“E lele le toloa ae ma’au i le auvai” is a Samoan proverb meaning that life may take someone far from home but they will always return. Case and point: Reader and Namor.
E lele le toloa ae ma’au i le auvai = The toloa bird flies far, but will always return to the water.
I am not an expert in the Mayan/Yucate language, which I believe is the main language Namor speaks, but I’ve taken the following translations from various online sources and apologise sincerely if its not quite right. Please correct me where I’m wrong and I’ll note it down for future reference. I’d also appreciate any reputable linguistic sources for all my fanfics moving forward, but anyway:
mi puksik’al = my heart
Meent’ uts = please

I cannot get it out of my head.
Shuri X Namor is an enemies to lovers ship in a major franchise and it has two people of color in it. It gives Beauty and the Beast contextuality if you really look - but you know what it gives even more? Hades and Persephone.
A kidnapped daughter of a Queen into the underworld.
And the way he was looking at her... it makes burning the world together seem romantic.
His mother’s bracelet.
His kingdom.
Her choice not to kill him.
Her strengh to form an alliance with him.
Her understandment of exactly how similar they are.
They share tragedy and love.
Enemies to lovers does begin with an act of war most of the times, but sympathy soon settles in.

➴ feel free to send me more thots
I carefully observed her every move as she navigated and worked in my laboratory. She wore a white tank top with no bra, tied above her belly button to expose her abdomen. Her nipples were erect against the chill air as she hammered away at the steel. I couldn’t help but notice how sculpted and toned her arms were. Riri’s muscles constricted with each blow. Her dark skin shined against the flying sparks and torch glow. Her focus on the task was sharp, yet her features remained soft as she worked. I’ve been fascinated with Riri since I first talked to her at her MIT dorm. I found it comical that she prioritized her education before Wakanda. She was offered sanctuary in a nation that doesn’t take it lightly to outsiders and was concerned about her schoolwork. I’m rarely denied, even rarer, meeting a woman who is an engineering prodigy like myself. In some ways, we were the same. After all, it’s her mind that called out to me. I called her a child before we met, but the person before me was nothing but. She is a woman with unrelenting knowledge, a fierce attitude, and undying loyalty to those she loves. I can see why my mother sacrificed her last breath for her. We both have a heart made of iron and steel—an Ironheart.
“Stalking me as a cat does to a mouse, I see why y’all got the name Black Panther.” I hadn’t realized that while I admired Riri and her craftsmanship, she was acutely aware of my ogling. “You’re not subtle in the slightest,” she giggled as if she knew what I was thinking.
“You’re comparing me to a kitten,” I laughed. It’s difficult not to smile around her when she makes it so easy. But, unfortunately, the scientist would only stay for only a few more days. A part of me didn’t want her to return and to keep her safely locked away in my laboratory.
“Not a kitten, a cat, and I bet I could make you purr like one too,” she remarked.
I raised my eyebrows in response, “is that a threat or a promise?” Riri’s grin widened at my words.
“Whatever you want it to be, Princess.”
Riri is the only one besides family that seldom addresses me without my princess title. I don’t know if it’s because she’s American and doesn’t know much about royal customs or if she sees me as her equal. But the emphasis on the word let me know it was indeed the latter. Generally, I would make an example of anyone who dared to do so, and I plan on doing the same with Riri.
I rolled my shoulders back to straighten my posture, similar to how my mother stood when addressing her court and strolled towards her workspace. I’ve mocked my mother many times, and it came easy. However, as I came closer, Riri became visibly nervous, squirming underneath my scrutiny as she lowered her tools. Her iron suit was almost finished, and I badly wanted to examine the work that she’s done, but I had another mission that I must complete first. I stopped in front of Riri once we were face to face, slightly towering over her due to my height.
“Do you know what happens to those who threaten me?” I smiled coyly as I watched her swallow the lump in her throat. Seeing the effect that I have on her stirred something within me. I first felt it when I walked into Riri’s dorm as I signalled for her to be quiet, and she obeyed. After that, I couldn’t fight the curiosity to see how far she’d go and if she’d decide to disobey me.
“I’m sure you’re going to show me either way,” she replied.
“See, that’s what I like about you. You have a smart mouth.”
In an instant, the nerves that I once saw dissipated. I wiped off the black mechanic oil that was smeared on her collarbone. Riri’s eyes lowered to where my fingers lingered before making eye contact.
“So you finally admit it?” Riri asked, but it sounded more like a statement than a question.
“Trust me. I wouldn’t go through the hassle otherwise. You have endless potential. Young, gifted, and Black, as you said. I won’t let Namor harm you if I have my way.” I wanted to say more, but I didn’t want to expose the depth of my feelings Not until I knew we would leave our battle against Namor alive.
“Is that the only reason why you like me?” I knew what she was implying.
“Prove your loyalty and fight by my side. Maybe I’ll tell you once the plan is executed” I wasn’t going to make a promise that I could not keep. But if Riri and I were right about our theory regarding Namor, then we might have a chance at defeating the God and forcing him to bow down to Wakanda.
“Your mother treated me like one of her own, and I’ll fight for her time and time again. I’ll fight beside you, Shuri,” she exclaimed.
My hands lowered to her waist, pulling her closer to me, so our chests were flush against each other. I could feel the rise and fall of her breath and her heart rate picking up. After ingesting the Talokan plant to complete the genome for the heart-shaped herb, I’ve been gifted with abilities that go far beyond imagination. Of course, I knew what came with consuming the Vibranium-rich plant, but having its power at my disposal would take some adjustments.
I traced shapes against her bare skin as I spoke, “Even if it means your life will be at risk?”
“Yes,” she admitted.
Riri looked like she was in a daze when her eyes met mine.
I didn't dare remove my hands from her bare waist, afraid that if I made any sudden movements, she would pull away as our faces were mere inches apart. Instead, I stole a glance at her lips. They looked soft and full. The thought of how her lips would feel against mine was all-consuming. I couldn't help myself as I began to lean forward to kiss her. The kiss started as gentle, but that didn’t last long once Riri began sucking on my bottom lip. I felt aroused with anticipation when I slipped my tongue against hers. Riri wrapped her arms around me as I gripped her ass to pick her up, massaging her in my hands before I sat her on the edge of the desk.
I rubbed my fingers against her clit in circular motions, feeling how slick and wet her pussy could get before I pushed my fingers deep inside her. Then, I slowly trailed my fingers against her lips, teasing her.
“Shuri, I can’t wait any longer. I want to feel you inside me,” she rasped.
Riri moved her hips to grind against my hand, urging me to go further. I felt her breath against my lips as she held back a moan.
“You want to feel me inside of you? then beg”
“Princess, please, I need you,” she whispered.
I stroked her until my fingers began to soak with her juices. I loved the effect that I had on her.
“Princess Shuri,” she groaned.
Hearing how my name rolled off her lips made me frantic for more. I inserted two fingers into her entrance, feeling her walls tighten around me. I took my time entering bit by bit before I started rhythmically moving my fingers in and out. I kept my eyes trained on her as my other hand wrapped around her neck, applying pressure. Riri let out a stream of words that were too sinful to repeat—desperately clinging to me and begging me not to stop. At this point, my fingers were dripping.
“I want you to cum for me baby,” I commanded.
I thrust my fingers inside her, keeping pace as I felt Riri clench her thighs together, creating friction between us. I couldn’t stop my racing thoughts of wanting to fuck her senselessly, showing a side of her that only a few see. Shuri wanted to learn Riri’s anatomy, studying and caressing her most delicate features. Listening to her moans and cries like a melody almost drove me to sweet insanity.
Riri’s legs began to shake in ecstasy as she rode Shuri’s hand until she reached orgasm.
“Fuck” she gasped.
Grasping her chin and tilting it up, I took my fingers out from inside her and brought them to her mouth to suck on them.
“Taste yourself,” I said.
I watched as she tenderly sucked her cum off my fingers before licking her lips. In a second, my mouth was over hers, sloppily. I felt like Earth stuttered on its axis and was just us. I was captivated by her.
Riri’s breath tickled my skin when she whispered, “Now it’s your turn.”
Before I could register what was happening, Riri cleared the workspace, throwing all its contents on the floor and pulled me down on top of her. She flipped us over, so I was under her, shocked. Riri didn’t hesitate when she skillfully unzipped my pants and discarded them. I didn’t know that she had this side of her, the side that was dying to be dominant. Riri lazily left kisses along my thighs, getting closer to my centre each time until her face hovered above my panties. She rubbed her tongue along the cloth that was already damp from earlier. The warmth of her mouth so close to the most vulnerable parts of myself left me yearning for more. Then, as if she already knew what I was going to say, Riri removed my underwear, leaving me bare against the cool laboratory air, causing shivers to run down my spine. Without breaking eye contact, she delved her tongue into my core, flicking her tongue up and down. She pulled my hips down harder against her face for her mouth to have more access. Gaping at how her tongue skillfully maneuvered from my lips to my clit. I couldn’t stop the gasp and pants that escaped once she started sucking on it, engulfed in wet heat.
“Shit, Riri, you feel so good.”
I was dizzy for more as I roughly pushed myself against her mouth, silently demanding her to continue and running my hands down her braids, clutching her head as I drunkenly rode her face until I began to feel breathless. This intense desire had me in a frenzy. Finally, my heart started pounding, and my head became light.
“You’re going to make me—” I cut off by my moans as I watched her mouth become covered with more saliva and my juices. She hummed encouragingly, and I inhaled sharply once I felt the sweet release. Riri’s eyes were trained on me, watching the faces that I made when the sparks of bliss seared throughout my body. Lust clouded over her and I.
“That’s it, Princess, show me how much you want it” She replaced her tongue with her hand and latched onto my neck, sucking until she left her mark. Letting out animalistic noises that were inconceivable to me. The sound of our pants and her fingering me was loud throughout my lab. I dug my nails into her back, holding on as if she was going to disappear before my eyes. I’m feverishly overwhelmed with sinful delights. My thoughts stopped racing once I recognized the sounds that escaped my lips whilst Riri made her way closer to my ear.
“I told you I could make you purr.”

What You Need to Know about Namor and Talokan
I haven't done a comics-explainer post in awhile. Thought maybe now would be good. Except this isn't just about comics now, it's also about some real world mythology.
In the comics, Namor was one of Marvel's oldest superheroes. He was created in 1939, the same year as Superman. You may know that most of Marvel's biggest superheroes were created by Stan Lee. But Lee's best-known work happened after World War II, during the 1960s. So unlike DC, Marvel doesn't really have that many "Golden Age" superheroes.
Though some of the Marvel Golden Age characters have been retconned and reimagined in newer stories, only three really have been consistently popular since their original publication: Captain America, Namor and the Human Torch.
So Namor is important, not just because he is a powerful character in the comics, but because he was integral in Marvel's early publishing success in the real world. (Marvel, like many other comics publishers, struggled to stay in business during the 1950s because of a crackdown on comics as a "bad influence" on young people.) He's one of these three that kept the company in business.
He is, of course, also important for in-story reasons. Notably, Namor is considered Marvel's first mutant. That is, he was the first mutant character to have stories published about him by Marvel. Though he wasn't revealed to be a mutant until the 60s, he had books about him dating since the 30s, if that makes sense. (This was confusing to me as a kid because we knew there were older mutants inside the comic book continuity, nor the first to utter the word "mutant" but the first mutant superhero in our real-world chronology, if that makes sense.) I mention this because it will probably come up that he is the "first mutant" in press, as the world is dying for the X-Men to be introduced into the MCU.
It would make perfect sense if Namor is included in "The Mutants" or other mutant-related MCU projects. He is known to be part of the X-Men team in the crossover event "A v X", when the X-Men fought the Avengers. (I'm not going to get into the specifics there regarding the Phoenix force, but just known he was Team X.)
Inside the books, Namor is both Human/Mutant and Atlantean. Atlantis is the fictional world under the sea. In comics, his father is a human (with a mutant gene) and his mother is a princess of Atlantis. Thus he has both the powers of Atlanteans and human mutants. Because one set of superpowers isn't enough!
It seems, from the trailer, that in the film Namor will still be half-human but rather that his mother was human and his father was from Talokan.
In Mexica/Aztec traditions, Tlālōcān is a paradise ruled by the rain god Tlaloc. The name "Atlantis" has been removed for the film, as "Wakanda Forever" is trying to root this fictional world in Mesoamerican traditions, not Greek ones. As a mythology nerd, I will point out that Tlaloc is the name the Aztecs/Mexica used for the rain god but the Mayans used the name Chaac. There seems to be some picking and choosing with names because "K'uk'ulkan" is referenced in the trailer and that is the Mayan name for the god the Aztecs would have called Quetzalcoatl, which is the opposite choice.
In any case, it is not "Atlantis" in the film and it is also Talokan with a k not a c, which seems to give some distinction between the mythical place and underwater kingdom of the film.
The war cry used by the kingdom in the film translates to "Talokan rises" and is their version of "Wakanda forever".
But back to Namor himself. What are his powers? We don't really know exactly what he can do in the film, but in the comics, he's super strong and durable--something he gets from the non-human side of his family. He's over 100 years old but still looks good in tiny swim shorts. (Edit update: Tenoch Huerta said in a press conference that the film version of Namor is over 500 years old. This lines up with the speculation that the old timey scenes we see in the trailer are of the Spanish conquest of "the New World." So we may see his people forced into the sea to survive.)
His mutant abilities are related to the wings on his ankles, that give him the ability to fly. They also seem to have amplified his non-human powers, making him stronger and more durable than the regular undersea dwellers in the comics.
In the trailers, we see him easily deflecting attacks, suggesting he is as durable as the comics (where he can just stand there while people shoot at him with guns). He can also fly via the wings on his feet. Most notably, we see him using an ability to control water.
In the comics, Namor stole his hydrokinetic powers from the Spider-man villain Hydro-man. But it makes more sense to simply give him these in the film, as possibly mutant abilities. It is more impressive than feet wings (though those are adorable).
Namor is often an antagonist but also often a hero. This comes from his differing perspective from land-dwelling humans. Like, he did come out of the water to fight Hitler, for example. And he will help with alien attacks that might destroy the entire planet, but he is often at odds with humanity itself. (And to be fair, we do pollute his ocean and kill his people so maybe we deserve it.)
Namor and T'Challa are rivals in the comics, though they are also both teammates on the Illuminati at times (yes, those guys that Wanda killed in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.) And, it should be noted, he has a particularly history with the Fantastic Four as well. It was the Human Torch (Johnny Storm, the second hero to carry this moniker) who helped him regain his memories and restore his powers in the 1960s. He is also often portrayed as in love with Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, putting him at odds with Reed Richards, her husband.
Many hope that Namor in "Wakanda Forever" will help set up both the X-Men and the Fantastic Four in the MCU.
"Namor" is pronounced "Nay-mor" in the comics. In the film it will be pronounced that way and also "Nah-mor" (meaning "no amor" or no love), an intentional commentary about the way Latinx people often have their names mispronounced by the masses.

Attuma x Okoye
pt.1
Summary: W'kabi leaves Okoye and another man takes the opportunity
P'áatal ti' mak a chi'ex= stay silent
In rindo= I surrender
As General Talokanil had predicted, Okoye had caught a bad cold the next day, she couldn't move, her muscles were sore. Her head was spinning and rumbling. It was just hell, she checked her phone and as she expected there were a lot of missed calls from her, M'baku, Shuri, Ayo, Aneka and Nakia, she texted to reassure them. She heard someone knocking, she got up and opened it was just the postman.
"The Divorce file has finally arrived" Okoye immediately opened the envelope, read it for a while and immediately signed, felt sick again and went back to bed. Suddenly the phone rang and he answered it
"Okoye it's me Nakia, how do you feel?"
"I just caught a cold, I should be back to training in a few days" she explained blowing her nose
"I'm sorry, what about the other problem?"
"If you mean divorce between me and W'kabi, I'm fine, I’m happy I don't have him around anymore" he heard children laughing
" Are you working?"
"Actually I'm in Wakanda, Talokanil youth are here for cultural exchange"
"A school trip?"
"Yes, however, I'm near the river if you want to come"
"Uh, I don't know..."
"If you are worried about taking care of children, there is a supervisor with them, it is Attuma"
" Are you still here?"
"Yeah, I'm still not feeling well"
"Okay, I'll come and visit you , with a nice pepper soup"
"Thank you" the call ended, she curled up under her blanket.
It would be too strange to be next to him with Nakia in, and besides they're working, it's better not to distract them.
Okoye immediately opened the envelope. She was too tired to think seriously, the only thing she knew was that after yesterday's scene, in which she was drunk and in his arms, she didn't want to see him, precisely she didn't want to be seen. The medicines she had been taking were making their affection, slowly her eyes became heavier until she fell asleep.
Nearby Nakia was explaining to visitors the different tribes of the kingdom and how they were divided. The general remained silent throughout the visit trying to put the young people in their place.
"P'áatal ti' mak a chi'ex" the man said getting them silent
" Okay this is the end of the tour, tomorrow you are going to see the Dora Milaje you can swim" the woman said pointing to the river, they didn't get told a second time they dived, the younger children stood next to the general
"Thanks for visiting," she said
" No problem"
" What is that?" he asked, pointing to the container she was holding
"It contains pepper soup, it's for Okoye. She caught a cold that will make her feel better," she explained as she walked away, her gaze didn't leave her.
Nakia arrived at her friend's house, opened the door with some extra keys.
"Okoye it's me Nakia" she announced but no answer, she walked into the bedroom, and saw her friend snuggled up against her, shaking her gently.
"Nakia hi" Okoye whispered still asleep, Nakia placed a hand on her forehead
"The fever seems to have subsided a bit, drink some soup"
"Have you finished with the visit?"
"Yes, I'm in the river, let's go out behind the porch"
"Um no.. I don't want to"
"I can't leave them out alone, and you can't stay in bed get some fresh air" she said helping her up
They went out and sat on the ground, putting their bare feet in the water and saw the Wakandan youth playing with the Talokanil one.
"Nice to see they're not scared"
" It's us adults who need to stop being afraid and change"
"Well it's a change that they accepted my divorce and didn't enforce polygamy," she said casually
"Are you sure you're okay?"
"I'll be back in a moment" the warrior said before returning, a few minutes later she returned with a plate of sugar cane
"I'm fine, it's just that I've been married for years, I've been a Dora Milaje for years, now I'm neither, what do I do?" she asked as she sucked down the sugar cane.
"Do you feel lost and don't know what to do? After his death I didn't know what to do anymore, having him by my side for so many years was comfortable but now that he’s no longer here I feel uncomfortable, something is missing"
"And how did you overcome the discomfort"
"You, Shuri, Queen Ramonda the whole of Wakanda was with me, sometimes it's very difficult but I know there is someone by my side and I'm not completely alone"
"And then you can always remarry like he did" she added, the ex Dora Milaje looked at her
"What? Is no one worthy of the great Okoye? What should the man be to be worthy of you"
"I've just divorced, but the man I want must be...." and before she could answer, they heard laughter. Little children were climbing over the Talokanil general faking to be warriors like him
He was laughing fully
"If I've never seen him in battle, I'd think he's a docile man"
"Uhm" Okoye hummed in agreement, she had never seen him smile, he was quite handsome
"You know I was a little worried, I was worried how civilians would react after the attack, and consequently I was worried how the Talokanils would react to possible hostility, but thanks to Bhast everything is going smoothly"
" Everything will be alright" she said making her firend smile
" I'm happy to hear it from you Okoye" she patted her back
"In rindo, I surrender" he laughed, he realized that a pair of eyes were staring at him, he turned and saw the warrior return her head the other way.
Hours passed, the sun was setting, and the visitors went to their lodgings accompanied by Nakia, leaving the two warriors alone.
"Do you like soup?" she asked
"Yes, especially all the seasonings" he replied coughing from the spiciness, she handed him a glass of water giggling
"Thank you, how are you feeling?"
"Well, that is, I feel better than before," he suddenly took off his mask, and placed his lips on his rival's forehead.
" What you are doing?" she asked shocked
" I'm taking your temperature, the lips are the most sensitive part of the body, you’re still very feverish”
"Warn me when you want to do something like this"
" What?"
"The thing you just did...." he looked at her confused, she sighed
"You could create misunderstandings"
"Between me and?"
"Forget it, I'm the one creating misunderstandings" she said standing up, suddenly she slipped grabbing his arm, closed her eyes as if she could ease the pain of the fall.
"Geurrero, are you hurt?" felt her Attuma's lips caress her face, opened her eyes, and as she expected he was on top of her
"No, thanks to you," she whispered, she just couldn't take her eyes off his.
"Shouldn't you put your mask back on?" she asked, trying to avoid her gaze, which seemed to undress her.
"The water is pretty close" he whispered, his lips brushed her neck, a small moan escaped her lips, at that moment she knew she had to get up and walk away, but he locked her arms and she couldn’t move
"Attuma let me go" he raised his head
"I would never do something you don't like, but are you sure you want me to let you go?" he asked, shewas asking between herself, why was she feeling so safe when he was around, why was he talking as if he really cared.
She didn't give him an answer, but took him by his face and their lips touched. It was just like the previous day they were close, she thought it was the effect of alcohol that gave off that strange heat, every time he touched her that heat released.
His large hands were caressing her figure until he pulled them under her shirt making her moan more audible and she caressed his chest, he unhooked her bra and fondled her breasts .
" A....Attuma I am marr...." she wailed
"Not anymore" he licked her neck and pinched her nipples, the air was getting thick, the only thing she could hear were their moans, breaths and the rush of water. Their actions were becoming more irreversible until one call stopped them, it was Nakia.
"Nakia.....is there a problem?" she said standing up
"Is Attuma still on the river?"
" Yup"
" Ok see you later"
"Yes later" he turned and the warrior was in the water
"Take care of yourself," he said swimming away
"Yeah, you too" she walked back inside, lay down on the sofa
"What did I just do?" thought were racing in her head, she touches her lips were they plumpy, were they itchy from the spiciness of the soup or from him biting into them?
The only thing shewas sure of, she was not going to sleep that night
