beatrice is a tai chi grandma.
when ava wakes up and bea isn't in her arms, she toddles her way to the kitchen and fills their travel mugs with tea.
sixty years (seven months, and twenty-four days, not that bea's counting) is a long time to be together, excluding the whole arc situation. neither of them regret it one bit.
warm sun shines on her face as she skips down to the park by their flat. she might move slower now, but life's never been better.
there. it's just like the first time she saw her, focused and stoic, going smoothly though tai chi forms. ava knows exactly when bea sees her -- the way her gaze focuses and a hint of a smile.
settling into the chair that magically appeared after the second time ava appeared in the middle of a session, she waves to camila, who's frantically knitting. lilith is there too, wings shining in the sunlight. her hair is grey now, natural and flowing -- none of that dollar store wig-ess stuff from when she first transformed.
birds chirp and soft winds blow. a familiar figure arrives, same old cane in hand.
for a revived paraplegic and former nuns doomed to die young, ava thinks they've done pretty damn well for themselves.

INFODUMP !!!!
REEEEEEEEEE OKAY HERE WE GO
I’ma start with Jude and Henry’s parents because they’re obviously not that great and I just wanna get them out of the way. Their dad was struggling with anger issues at work and their mom had recently picked up alcohol. They eventually got divorced and actually fought for a while on who would have custody of Jude and Henry. They settled on that Jude would stay with their father and Henry with their mother.
This went on for about 10 years but badda bing badda boom their mother died of alcohol poisoning and they stayed with their dad for the rest of their lives. Not only did this leave Jude and Henry with a pretty crappy childhood, but Jude had also developed a fear of being separated from Henry which DEFINITELY WONT COME BACK LATER ON 😅 but despite all this, there parents did genuinely care about them, they just had bad ways of relieving or letting out their struggles.
fun fact: Madison is actually related to the Wallace family, Jude is technically her cousin :)
EMILY TIIIIME!!!!!1!1!! Not much to say about her family. Emily’s parents were pretty good friends with the Wallace family and both moms of both family actually worked together at one point. But however, they were slightly perfectionists and while they didn’t expect everything out of their daughter they would do anything to see her succeed. Even if that means putting Emily AGAINST the Wallace twins in academic or even social endeavors ON PURPOSE MIGHT I ADD. hey, at least they supported her plans to be a photographer and journalist. and they also let her take pictures in a certain forest nearby 🫣
anyways that’s about it

Mmmaybe getting drunk drunk isnt the best plans for me because the bubbly having fun only lasts for the first drink and a half and then I give it time and the dark thoughts start to win.
