Dropped in to say that being on the wrong side of history really is a completely disgusting feeling, wouldn't recommend it to anyone
Ah yes, I know.
Starting a counter-revolution usually helps, as long as you succeed.

Sil, how do you feel about birthdays? Can this be a good thing? How need to feel about someone congratulating you on this?
The day commemorating one’s birth, chosen on the cyclical repetition of seasons used to have to me a far greater significance in times long past than it does now. Mortal lives are short; the Men and Beastfolk rarely live beyond one century, Goblinken even less than that, and even the two or three hundreds of years that the Mer are given seem insignificant compared to the passage of time.
The annual commemoration of the life of an individual in my eyes has always served as a memorial to one’s mortality and to their daily victories over the struggles of the life. It brings sentiment both soothing and sobering, and in many it inspires and sustains the will of bettering oneself, although oft that is limited to small details many would (unjustly) dismiss as insignificant.
Congratulating someone for their survival is due to those who have truly been fighting for that life for the period of temporal measurement. I do not have to be congratulated.

About questionable engineering solutions, part two. Why do the Halls of Regulation have rotating chains with sharp tips at the ends and pressure plates that turn on the fire?
You would think that the Clockwork City would not be a home to a mind defective and deranged which would decide to poison the water within the Halls of Regulation. Your judgement would err.
While there are those who would call these measures excessive, suffice to say that in the moment when I implemented them, I was beside myself with fury.

Why do you mechanize yourself based on your own anatomy? Wouldn't it be more interesting to add something that is biologically impossible? Maybe a pair of hands to make work easier?
I am not a bored child, I do not do things because they might be more interesting. I need one pair of arm, that is enough. Half of it is insufficient, more than that is not necessary. For millenniums the mortal races built and created based on their physiology; to change my physiology would be as if I decided to make myself an anticlockwise screw when all coils are dextrorotary.
That is not to say that the form I was born to could not use some improvements. I made adjustments to my eyesight, to my hearing, my vocal range and the spine.
If there is anything that is going to see a radical change, it is going to be legs. However, what of the replacement? My muscle physiology is not adapted for a tail like that of lamias... However, that is a part of future, not an immediate concern.

Has anyone ever had the idea of keeping an ice atronach to freeze food in the house? It sounds like a logical, but not very practical idea, it would be interesting to know what will happen
I have been to the Reaper’s March and stumbled upon the building known to locals as the Vile Manse. I most certainly cannot recommend keeping an ice atronach for refrigerator purposes. Or any atronach for any purposes, really.
However, it is true that the ice of frost atronachs melts far more slowly than regular ice, so if you manage to break it to chunks, you can keep your vegetables and meat fresh for years to come. Although, I wouldn’t drink the water that thaws off of it if I were you. It is an extremely unpleasant way to die.

Good day, Tharn. Hope you doing well. And I need your advice. Let's say you appear in a new society, you communicate with people, but then one person attracts your attention and you realize that... you don't like him. Your intuition tells you that something is wrong with him (and you usually trust it in such things). What should I do in such situations? Forget about it, try to move away, try to "open" the person?
I usually needle that person until they decide to leave. However, I acknowledge that this is not an approach that might suit everybody, as not everyone is, to quote Titanborn, “an insufferable Imperial bastard whore more than anything else loves to make people suffer.”
Although, that description is almost entirely inaccurate and comes from a woman whose whole “strategy” in these cases is to punch everyone she does not like in the face. That might not work for you either.

How to make friends with gears and stop losing them?
While I don’t believe you can truly befriend an unliving inanimate object, I am certain that you have two paths to choose from: In the hard one you become extremely proficient with scrying, therefore being able to find the gears when they are not where you expect them.
Or you choose the path of rigid order where each type of gear has its specific place; either the gear is in the machine, or in the place, nothing in between. This way it is impossible for teh gear to be anywhere else than its assigned place. This becomes slightly difficult if there are more of you sharing one workspace, however. Or if you travel a lot. Still, labelled boxes are your salvation.

What inappropriate items did you use to fight, but were surprised to find that its were quite useful?
That is a difficult question of only because when it is proves useful in a fight, it stops being an inappropriate weapon. But as far as unconventional weapons go, probably the most surprisingly best are glass bottles - if they have a rather long and thin neck and the bottom is thick and sturdy, they serve as rather good clubs and maces. Wine bottles are even usually well balanced for that. Hard liquor is flammable, and Morrowind mulled wine is a well acknowledge replacement of regular fireballs.
Anything heavy that you can tie on a rope is going to be effective. Messy, chaotic, somewhat unpredictable, but effective.
Speaking of those two, a fire-juggler’s kit is something not usually seen as a weapon, but its content makes a great one.

How about cards? Or you still busy with the soul gems?
I am still very busy, although not with soul gems. But I shall start a game for anyone who would be interested and just... sit out.

КАК ДЕЛА?!
I am going to assume that this is Earthly Russian, because it looks like the half-Dwemer-runes Aaronized and Tayrozmi sometimes use to talk to each other during the card games. I understand neither Russian nor Dwemer, though.

It seems that my Internet is trying to strip me of most of my nerve cells, so I probably won't give in to it. It was nice talking to you and the others, Clivia. I apologize if my words had you feel bad. It wasn't out of malice (Tayrozmi)
Ah, thank you my dear. I was wondering what happened to you. No harm, no foul.

I apologize for the spontaneous disappearance, I was overtaken by yesterday's work, which I would prefer not to see again in my life, but we have what we have (Tayrozmi)
Life can be cruel, and it likes to prove it to us often.
It is not entirely bad thing that you’ve left, as if you didn’t, we would have ran out of cards far sooner. And for your information, Aaronized won.
