I still remember from time to time that it's confirmed that Ozpin always chose, every year, a specific team to focus on and see if they're worth recruiting for his inner circle: STRQ was one, CFVY too, and obviously RWBY too, and many more teams, probably. Most of them weren't recruited, some were: for example, I bet Glynda was in one of those star teams back in her student days. Sometimes I wonder if Ozpin ended up not recruiting CFVY because he had RWBY now to focus on or because he simply didn't have the time because like. Beacon fell and he died.

Either way, CFVY still seems to somewhat occupy that “impressive team that breaks rules and lead the others and the Headmaster usually pays a bit more of attention to” spot at Shade Academy, so I really wouldn't be surprised if they do end up getting recruited now that Salem's secret is out.

Team CFVY - Vacuo Designs Redux

Hey peeps!

Look! I did a thing!! Holy shit!

I finished reading After the Fall a while ago, but I wanted to update my CFVY redesigns because I decided that the original piece looked wonky and I had literally no idea what I was doing

So we’re back now with some updated Huntsmen & Huntresses-in training, this time with accurate heights and some fun design adjustments

It may just be that I spent almost 30 hours on this project, but I’m so genuinely proud of how each of these turned out. I don’t have any favorites design, and I think that’s a good thing

Next up I plan on making a redesign of Carmine and an actual design for Bertilak, so stay tuned for that :P

Random RWBY 17, Maybe:

The parts are messed up and in bad order, let’s hope this is 17, anyway headcanon and idea time.

I like to believe Yang’s full first name is also Taiyang.

Jaune and Ren don't even compute boobs. Jaune has seven sisters, Ren spent most his life in an orphanage, and their only friends are the two girls they live with and the four girls across the hall.

Meanwhile, Yang turns into a folding chair if Blake so much as wears a crop top.

The Schneeblings punch way harder than they should simply with the combined force of about six decades of trauma between them.

CFV will just occasionally start rocking Yatsuhashi's shirts as dresses to sleep in cause it's hot as shit in the Shade dorms. Fox keeps making "breezy on the bits" jokes.

Jaune can do a full sink of dishes in like ten seconds flat cause it was his daily assigned chore back home.

On the other hand, Nora used to get away from more annoying chores at the orphanage by doing a fuckton of laundry. "Lie Ren I fucking swear if you don't start sorting your reds from whites!"

Ren vacuums and sweeps cause he just finds it calming.

Pyrrha's chores include random shit like taking out the trash, keeping the toilet paper stocked, and lying to Ozpin about why there's a goldfish they sure as shit weren't approved to have in the dorms.

No one loves cfvy like I do. I go through the cfvy tag and all I see is either ship content or silly little comics. I wanna talk about how they tried to stay and fight for beacon but they weren't strong enough and had to retreat. I wanna talk about how yatsuhashi doesn't have a very developed semblance bc he's scared of it.
