IWAIZUMI

☆ he is not playing with you. he decided to be nice and place a sweet peck to your forehead, and you wipe it off? he actually didn’t think anything of it the first time, but then you did it again when he kissed your cheek. that’s twice, but he wanted to make sure you were actually wiping off the kiss, so he placed a peck to your other cheek this time. he scowls when your hand reaches up, and he knows you’re about to wipe that one off too. he snatches up your wrist, though his grip is gentle as he guides your hand back down to your side.

"what? my kisses not good enough for you?"

TENDOU

☆ he sort of took it as a challenge. he’s very affectionate and is always kissing and hugging you, so when you wipe the big smooch he placed on your cheek away, he just does it again. it quickly becomes a game of some sorts, him kissing your skin just for you to wipe it off, and it slowly gets faster and faster. he ends up winning by grabbing your hands and pecking all over your face, causing you to giggle and give up.

"i win! now, it’s my turn for a kiss."

AKAASHI

☆ he knew you were messing with him, and messed with you back. he’s very perceptive and quickly picked up on your little prank and the mischievous glint in your eyes. the first kiss he placed to your temple was quickly wiped away, and it made him pause. thought you might’ve been mad or the kiss was too wet, but the he spotted the twitch of your lips as you try not to laugh. to get back at you, he tilted your chin towards him, slowly leaning in to kiss your lips. however, right when his lips ghosted over yours, he stopped and pulled away. he saw your lidded eyes widen and a pout quickly form on your face, and he couldn’t help but chuckle.

all you heard were hushed voices and the creak of the door as it slid open. your pounding headache prevented you from lifting your head to assess who was waking you up way before you planned to be up. but you didn’t have to wonder for long because two seconds later two pairs of eyes were staring down at you.

“have fun last night?”, your amused husband asked, you could see him fighting the urge to laugh at how obviously hungover you were.

A/N: I am so good at not posting lmao. Hope you're all doing well!

Oikawa:

When you told Oikawa that you got broken up with, he immediately started in his way to your place

He went to the convenience store to buy all of your favorite snacks, drinks, etc.

He would also bring some of both of your favorite movies and all that with him so you two could watch them together

If you start crying, he'll offer you his shoulder. If you just want to rant to him, he'll allow that too

I feel like he overall would be a really good comfort/distraction for these things

Tendou:

Tendou immediately goes to trying to distract you with something fun

You have a game you like to play? you're doing that together. same goes for movies, activities, etc.

He might get you a few of your favorite snacks as well, but that really depends on where he is

Despite this, if you just want to talk to him about it instead, he'll gladly listen to you no matter how mad you get or how much you cry

Overall, he would be pretty good at making you feel better most of the time

Kenma:

Kenma's first reaction is to be angry at the person who broke your heart

Basically starts dissing the person and their choice to leave you, but ends up making it funny so that you get cheered up

After that, he'll invite you to play video games at either one of your houses, or even just together online

He even pays an extra bit of attention to you for the time being just in case something happens

Kuroo:

Once you tell him about the break up, he pretty much immediately goes to telling you everything he didn't like about the person and how you could do so much better than them

And if you even slightly consider getting back with them he gives you a lecture about how you deserve someone other than that dirtbag

Sugawara:

Suga's first reaction is to start comforting you

I mean, of course he's mad, but he can't exactly fight the person right now, if ever

Tendou, who is always readily giving affection to his friends, cries the first time Ushijima hugs him.

He doesn’t even realize he’s crying either. One moment he was locked in the tightest hug on the planet, the next, warm tears were running down his face. Hey, I saw the request about the haikyuu boys taking care of their s/o that’s having nausea and stomach aches due to social anxiety. I was wondering if I could request the same thing but with, Tendou, Ushijima, Sugawara, and Tanaka.

Hello, really sorry this is coming out so late but hope it still helps. My writers block is really bad rn so I had to miss out Sugawara.

Warnings: anxiety and feeling sick/overwhelmed

Tendou

* He realised you were feeling anxious when you gripped his hand tighter

* He knew he had to bring you somewhere quiet and away from the crowds quickly

* Once he found a place, he would rub your back gently, letting you grip his hand until your hold lessens

* He’ll whisper words of encouragement to get you to relax

* “It’s ok baby.” “Take your time to relax” “I’ll stay with you until you feel ready to move.”

Ushijima

* when you’ve sat down he goes to order your favourite drink, glancing back at you every few second to make sure you’re ok

* He comes back with your drink and sits quietly with you until you relax

* “Do you feel better? I can get you something to eat too.” He suggests but you shake your head

*”No? Ok then we’ll stay here until you’re ready to leave.” He nods his head and rubs your hand gently, letting you know he’s there for you.

Tanaka

*he’s very attentive to your needs

*always making sure he has his eye on you and even more in crowded areas

*when he feels you tense up and sees your face blank out, he knows he needs to get your attention on him

*”Baby, focus on me ok? I got you. Just focus on me and breathing.”

*He opens up his jacket to act as a shield as you try to level your breathing, telling you you’re doing well but not saying too much to overwhelm you

*he keeps his arms spread until you wrap your arms around his waist

* he can feel you’re a little cold from the anxiety and closes his arms so his jacket wraps around you

*”You did well baby. Let’s stay here a bit and keep you warm”

A/N: oh yeah yeah yeah! I can definitely do this for you. Thanks for sending in a request (at the moment requests are also still open for headcanons if anyone else wants to send some in!)

HINATA SHOUYOU:

The idea of having a movie date with him at your place is very cute but he's also the kind of guy who can't sit still for long periods of time without doing something. He's just? Gotta move! Can't not be restless! Gotta fiddle. Get him a stim device or just offer up your thigh to let him massage with his hand.

Better off watching an anime movie of a manga he likes (like One Piece). He'd also be down to watch comedies, rom-coms and will probaby be into action movies.

Just make it something you can tune in and out off. Don't watch something where you have to watch every little detail or you don't want to miss a thing because he's a talker too. Hinata just wants to know all of your thoughts and tell you his.

The thing is, his attention span with movies is a little eh~ Between that and having the need to always be doing something with his hands, you're either going to have to help or deal.

That means occupying his hands (put yours in his~ hey hey~) or if you're feeling extra bold, just climb right on into his lap/pull him into yours.

He's also the kind of guy who sees pulling 'the move' of throwing his arm around your shoulders as the perfect moment during movies. His hand on your arm will be restless too and fiddle with your top or will massage your shoulder/arm.

With the talking it's nonstop too. It's very cute. He just goes and goes making jokes and doing impressions of the characters. Join in with him if you want, he loves hearing all your jokes and impressions too. It becomes a competition of who can do the best ones.

Quite literally the only way to shut him up (unless you enjoy the rambling) is to make out with him. Many a movie night with Hinata turns into a makeout session.

Who knows what the movie was even about?

DO NOT watch horror movies with him or he will smack you in the face (ACCIDENTALLY!) because he jumps at everything! Shrieks and flails. Throws the popcorn. Will cling to you like a koala. And then at the end will declare it wasn't even that scary! Sure babe.

KAGEYAMA TOBIO:

Okay so movie nights with him are also sweet. The poor honey though it's a 50/50 if he stays awake the whole way through. It's not that he's bored! He's just so relaxed and comfortable in your presence he can't help but drift off, especially if it's after a long day or week.

Loves to be cuddling. Even if you two are just hanging on the couch movie or not he's wanting to be indulging in some couple time. For him movie night is more about spending time together than the movie itself.

Ask Kageyama what half the movies you watched were about he can't give you a solid answer tbh. 'Idk romance?' It was a thriller babe but sure it was a romance let's go with that.

He can't help it. Kageyama was just so caught up in your warmth, your scent and nuzzling your neck to the backdrop of screams.

Can literally watch anything. When he is awake and pays attention does ask questions. Appreciates you taking the time to answer them and not make him feel silly.

'Wait why's he mad and got a gun on him I thought they were friends?' Kageyama asks brow furrowing.

'No honey, he was lying to get information out of him.' You explain.

'Tch.' He hugs you tigther. 'Loser, he deserves to have a gun on him instead.'

You snort. 'Sure babe.' It's cute that Kageyama takes friendships and relationships so seriously even in silly action movies. He's sweet that way.

Sometimes his hands just seem to wander during movie nights. Not necessarily in a sexual way but he just likes to be touching you. Likes the connection. A hand under your shirt, on your thigh or over your chest. Just touching, softly kneading and stroking. Always asks 'Is this okay?' and makes sure you're comfortable with it.

Only takes it further if you want to. But if he does it's really slow and drawn out because it's his only chance to really take his time. Just likes his down time with you.

TENDOU SATORI:

The man with a plan that loves a good movie night. Has the collection both physically and digitally. He thinks there's just something about collecting physically but started up a digital collection once he moved to the dorms because he had to travel light so it became a habit he took into adulthood.

Likes to have a whole set up having movie night with you to make it an experience. He's showing you his favourite movies after all so he wants you to get the best out of them even if you don't like them Tendou wants to give them the best chance.

Owns a projector to make things fun. Likes having popcorn and treats. Tells you lots about the movie beforehand (not spoilers) just general things to get you pumped! Blankets and comfy couch or those fancy two person bean bags to cuddle on.

While he does want you to watch the movie he's more about the experience so he talks if you talk. Is just buzzing with energy. Likes watching you! Seeing you laugh when things are funny. React at the shocking or sad things or just seeing if you react the way he thought you might. If you're touched the same way he was.

Tendou mainly hopes it's fun or just worth the time. He does like horror and thriller films so bonus if you do too or are willing to put up with them. Loves seeing you jump. Finds it fun if you want to analyse the film with him. Even if its just to make fun of the tropes.

If you watch a new thriller or horror together he likes trying to guess what will happen. Singing victory songs and cheers for whoever guesses things right! Perhaps winner gets smooches.

Cheeky. He likes trying to throw in his own jumpscares in movies sometimes (if you aren't already too terrified--he's not too mean). Do it back! He gets a thrill. You two will be doing it all week when the movies long over.

Throwing popcorn at each other. Trying to catch it in your mouth. Lots of laughing. The making out doesn't happen until the credits roll.

Sometimes the best sex you've ever had together happens after a movie marathon and you two are high on analysing the films and laughing about theories and stupid jokes. The next minute you're making out and taking each other's clothes off and just so wrapped up in each other.

Tendou the movie man knows what he's doing when it comes to recommending movies and setting the mood.

NISHINOYA YUU

Movie nights with Nishinoya are absolute chaos where anything can happen. You'll start of watching a movie but then you two will see a cake in the movie and will crave cake that you just have to have the next minute you're at the grocery store running amuck buying instant mix to bake a cake.

Other times you manage to make it all the way through an entire movie together. Sometimes you get through half of one and want to watch another.

Life with Nishinoya is just following the happy trail wherever it takes you, honestly.

When you do watch movies though they could be ANYTHING.

'Hey Tanaka was talking about this movie the other day we should totally watch it!' and that's all it takes you're watching a comedy movie that came out a year ago. You'd meant to go see it when it came out but life got in the way.

He's not one to sit still and be quiet during a movie. The two of you will start cuddling on the couch. Probably the first maybe fifteen minutes of the movie continue that way. The guy is restless though. Will start thinking outloud.

'You think he's the love interest?' He'll start asking about every random guy who comes onto the screen.

'Babe it's the guy on the cover.' You'll assure him.

'I didn't look, it keeps it a surprise.' He smirks. No not a surprise he just wants to be funny/annoying and say it's every guy BUT the love interest and feign disappointment when the main couple does get together.

'What do you mean she's getting together with him what about background character B she bought coffee off in the first half? They totally had chemistry!'

'Wow if only you had seen this coming somehow.' You pat him on the head. 'Like, say, by looking at the dvd cover the movie came in?'

He pouts. 'I think I'm going to need a lot more than head pats to feel better. Background character B totally got cheated, babe!'

And that's how Nishinoya gets kisses out of you from movie night. It is fun though. It becomes it's own fun experience each time you watch a movie.

KENMA

TSUKISHIMA

✧ constantly brings you gifts. they aren’t always store bought either, sometimes he finds them or even makes them. he’ll hand you the little trinket he discovered on his walk over to your house with the most adoring smile present— if he found it on the ground he’ll make sure to wash it first, of course. but the simple gifts that you constantly complain that you need (chapstick, hair ties, pens, etc) are the ones you love the most. it shows he really cares and pays attention to what you say, those always bring the biggest smile to your face.

SUNA

✧ makes you (and himself) a box of memories. it’s filled with photos and items that you two have collected throughout your relationship. there’s pictures from every one of your dates, and small things like bracelets and rocks. he made sure to hand write a few notes to put in your box; short love declarations and compliments attached to each photo. things like “you looked breathtaking today.” with the date written next to it. you frequently go through the box to reread them.

TENDOU

✧ shows you off to all his friends. he has a photo of the two of you set as his lockscreen, and there’s a polaroid selfie you took of yourself in the back of his clear phone case. whenever you two are together, he constantly has his arms draped around you, letting everyone around know that you two are dating. he endlessly brags about you to anyone and everyone that will listen. you get a tad bit embarrassed when he gushes about you to his friends while you’re sitting right there though.

i’m having a mini tendou brain rot rn. like im just thinking of you trying sleep in your shared bed & he’s banging around in the kitchen (you’re half certain he’s cooking meth) & he comes up with a tray of weird food combos that he thinks are completely normal & tells you it’s a “midnight snack”. it also just so happens to be 2:47 am.

idk abt you guys but i’d probably take the ‘reasonable’ snacks & try them before making him put the tray downstairs & demand cuddles cuz he’s been keeping you up with his shenanigans. i’m sure he’d try & goof off in the bed too but by then im setting him straight by telling him he will have to sleep on the couch if he keeps it up.

i’m sure he will comply bc he loves you & what not, but gee that man is no good for people who acknowledge the existence of sleep.

Uh, yes I can do my best, lol! Tendou and f!Reader bestie headcanons below!

-So, firstly, I think Tendou would be a menace of a friend. Assuming he's taller than you, he'd take books out of your hands and put them on top of the lockers in the middle of the conversation and then pretend he hasn't. He'd refuse to give it back and you'd have to rope in Reon to fetch it for you.

-Tendou would love going out to get ice cream with his friends, including you, and he'd never pay ever. (However, if you're having a bad day or you've got bad cramps, he'd buy ice-cream and more)

-He would get you into all his favourite manga series and you'd share a mismatched series of all your favourites.

-He never approves of your partner and insists that they're all boring, no matter how interesting they genuinely are. He's just biased and believes that no one deserves to date his awesome best friend :)

-You both get in loads of trouble when you sneak around the respective boy/girl dormitories to meet up.

-Tendou tells you ALL the volleyball gossip and you share any gossip he's missed (he always enjoys telling you about the latest fight Semi and Shirabu have had)

-If you're in the years below him, he insists he will help you out with your foreign language courses and just ends up doing your homework for you because he'd find it easy.

-You bitch about his dad together.

-You once nearly got a suspension when you punched someone who was trying to pick on him (he made your favourite cake as a thank you)

-He tried teaching you how to bake but it went badly.

-You go to as many volleyball games as possible and always cheer the loudest when he gets a point until other students around you are glaring at you for not shutting up. You don't entirely care
