GOSH.

The first thing that popped into my head when watching was, "I'm getting too old," 💀 lol.

As I watched those clips I realized just how many of my memories of the past decade are intertwined with Bangtan. Their discography has basically been the soundtrack of my life for the last decade. Even way back then, I knew they were going to be very special to me.

They've been there through happy moments, sad moments. Heartbreaks, first love. Long trips, days spent at home. Nights out with the girlies, quiet study times. Like a constant friend who just gets you. Honestly, they're my music soulmate. There will never be a group equal to BTS (at least for me).

I'm also 100% confident that in about 21 months, we will keep our promises to each other. OT7 will reunite, and Army will be right there lifting them up once again.

I cannot wait.

LOCATION: Park

You decide that you're intrigue to see what Jeongguk's up to now—what could he possibly have brewing in his mind? And so, to begin your adventure you get ready and head out to find the location suggested in the riddle about the beginning of your love story; the park.

The same one where you asked him to meet you on that rainy day, nervously approaching the bench where he was sitting waiting for you. Upon arriving, you look around only to spot Jimin hidden near the cluster of trees by the same bench you had found Jeongguk sitting awaiting you.

Jimin is looking around, as if he's looking for something. Or maybe someone. When your eyes end up meeting each other, his face seems to get brighter, and he waves excitedly to you. He doesn't come out from behind the tree, only waves at you some more, telling you to come over, seemingly still cautious about his surroundings. You are confused about the meaning of his shenanigans but you do want to get answers to the situation so you advance, heading towards him. When you are at arm reach, Jimin suddenly make a quick step forwards and pulls you swiftly behind a tree and - gently - forcing you to crouch down behind some bushes. He puts a finger in front of his lips, indicating you to be quiet for a moment. For a few seconds, neither of you say anything. Jimin peeks out from above the bushes, checking around before turning back to you, sighing. He whispers to you, his voice barely audible. "I'm glad you arrived safely… There is… 'something' out there…" Jimin shivers, but you can't guess if it's because of the cold or from thinking about that thing he's talking about. "Anyway, here, I protected it well." He first takes the cupcake from your hands before giving you a note while he keeps whispering. "Don't go out there in the open, 'they' will see you. Take the path between the trees, some have a golden ribbon attached to the lower branches… Follow them, it's the safest way. Though if you ever see any rabbit…" Jimin frowns, his expression turning grave. He claps his hands on your shoulders, looking seriously at you. "Do NOT follow any, you understand ? Even if they look cute and approchable… Just follow the ribbons ok ? And keep that note close to you. Don't loose it. It will bring you to a safe place. There, you will see someone in a dark cloak, go to them. Don't look back ok ?" He grins, saluting you. "Don't worry about me, I will protect you from behind and stay on watch. Oh also-" Jimin checks his pockets, finally taking something out of it. He pulls your arm, slipping a simple, golden bracelet on your wrist. There is a dangling bunny charm on it. "To ward them off. Now go, time is running out." Jimin helps you to stand, gives back your cupcake and waves you off while watching you go.

Upon taking the second note from Jimin and passing him the cupcake to hold, you open it up to see more of Jeongguk's recognizable writing:

"So, you decided to take on my little game, huh? I can't wait for you to experience everything I had spent months planning and making for you. The park is pretty special, isn't it? Truly, it's where everything started. I still remember how it was raining, and how I was slightly annoyed for waiting over half an hour for you to arrive, but once I saw you, that annoyance went away. You looked nervous, hands clutching that box with the cupcake you had gifted me a few days after my birthday since you missed it. It… wasn't good, but I ate it because you made it with love and the intention of giving it to me. And for you? I'd eat as many disgusting cupcakes that i have to if it means I get to see that same smile on your face that I saw back then. But while the park is pretty memorable in our story, it's not the most special stop is it? Follow the riddle to find the next clue!" ─── ⋆⋅ ♡ ⋅⋆ ─── Beneath the drizzling rain, our story unfolds, Love's tale, in raindrops, beautifully told. Where your sweet kiss met my cheek so meek, In the sheltered embrace, this memory we'll keep. Raindrops paint the world with a soft refrain, In a haven amid the gentle rain's domain. To continue our journey, and create love's art, Visit this moment in the rain, where we did start.

That time again! Answer the riddle to move on.

When you finally left his sight, Jimin slightly tilts his head up, grinning mischievously at something hidden one head above his. He does a cute pose, fingers shaped into a heart, then make some small dance moves, excited. He clenches his hand into a fist and talks to it with a low tone, as if holding a mic. He looks at the camera, his hand combing his hair back, and he winks to it. "Ladies and gentlemen, let's follow the adventures of our brave traveler who's ready to brace herself to discover the hidden Truth behind that mysterious game… Will she pass the dark forest where a cute rabbit won't bring you to the Wonderland ? Let's wait and see~"

answer: the arcade where i stole your first kiss by accident.

she can feel herself becoming more and more excited the closer she paces to her destination. the memories are pushing through to her too quickly even if her body is shaking from the cold—but the face she was greeted with wasn't someone she was expecting, not that she minded seeing the familiar face since she only has so much longer to experience it.

"oppa?" she chimes out. yet, before she could think the male is pulling her to hide with a finger over his lips. again, chaewon isn't sure what to expect with his persistent theatrics. she can only smile widely at him as he runs through his rehearsed words. she finds it adorable, though, how invested he is to whatever event is happening to surprise her. she didn't think their mutual friends would be involved.. or this happy to be here. it only added more questions in her head as he continues to explain the situation and what she should do next.

the golden threads? a cupcake? people watching her? how could she not follow the bunnies? chaewon has a trend for falling in love with them, obviously; but she merely nods her head at him with a wide smile, taking the letter from his hand and entering the next stage.

the letter he's written was another clear answer to her. that day after they left this park, she dragged him to an arcade to celebrate his birthday in a way that suited him more. they spent hours in that arcade taking turns challenging each other or being competitive as one or the other won.

it was also the same day he won her a puppy plushie she still has, one that made her so excited she jumped up and stole a kiss. she didn't process what she did at the time, but she still thinks about it to this day of how embarrassing that moment was.

before chaewon could stand up and head on her way, jimin is pulling her back down and placing a gift on her wrist. the bunny made her face light up more with the concept of it being a good luck charm. out of mere happiness, which seems to me something she frequently does, she's reaching out to grab his hands.

"thank you, minnie. you'll follow me so i won't get lost or lonely, right?" she giggles the question. "i believe we have an arcade to go to."

so i’m definitely hobi bias, right? but today, when my train journey got disrupted on the way home, i was in tears - like big tears running down my face (trains make me anxious and it didn’t help that the station was crowded). but anyway, i was crying and i was listening to my bts playlist, and as soon as jimin started singing, my tears dried up and i felt instantly safe and like everything was going to be okay…and actually, after jimin’s verse, the train i needed came up on the board and it was only a 5min wait. i’m hobi bias for absolute sure but jimin kept me calm today, dried my eyes and really helped me remain calm for the rest of the journey. so thank you jimin 💜

I'm writing this and scheduling this to be posted on your day, just in case I have my surgery that day, i might miss many of jimtober moments this year bcs i have to recovery.

so many good things i have in my life, but knowing you is one of the most thing I've been grateful for.

you're so precious.

i love you and thank you aren't enough to describe how much you mean a lot to me.
