💻 where the lov find you’ve been caught by a hero , and are forced to lead them to the lov’s base

👤 himiko toga , touya todoroki / dabi , tomura shigaraki / tenko shimura , mr. compress / atsuhiro sako , twice / jin bubaigawara x f!reader ( all separate )

📍kinda upset characters :(, the villains are slightly ooc (especially Twice and Shigaraki. I don’t write for/read much about them)

Is definitely taken aback. Like how could this happen? How could her love lead her worst enemy here?

Isn’t mad at you, just weirdly confused

“Sweetie, what’s EraserHead doing here?!”

She knows you didn’t mean to, and she can prove it from the guilty and sad look on your face, as well as the strong grip Aizawa has on you

Soon, the fight breaks out, and all you can do is just hide in another room and wait for it all to be over.

About an hour passes and it’s finally ended, but Himiko has to grab you and run with you fast to your guy’s new hideout, away from EraserHead

As soon as you settle, you break down

“Hey, sweetie, it’s okay!” your lover tried calming you, softly squeezing your arms, “I know you didn’t mean to! Meanie EraserHead did this!”

You can’t help but cry harder at her sweetness. You held all the blame on yourself. You’d risked going out, knowing a hero could identify you as part of the LOV. And sure enough, EraserHead was the one who’d nabbed you, and forced you to your hideout. “But..” you’d barely gotten out through broken sobs, “I led him there! He got there because of me! I was so wreckless- and- I-I-“

She then grabbed you, pulling you in for one of her best hugs. Her clothes smelled like blood, but that wasn’t anything new. You’d gotten used to the metallic smell she’d had on her since you first came across her in that abandoned alley. You wrapped your vaguely bruised arms around her, sobbing into her chest as she pet your hair. “Sweetie..” she cooed, kissing your head all over, “it’s ok..! I don’t blame you, and- I’m pretty sure- the rest of the LOV don’t blame you either. So don’t worry you’re pretty little head!”

You looked up at her, seeing her adorable, fang-y smile that led all the way up to her blood red orbs. It made you smile a bit through your tears, which Himiko wiped away with her thumb. “See,” she said, growing happier at your smile, “you’re okay! You’re even smiling! So cute!”

You were content after that, mostly after her constant reassurances, and even some members of the LOV trying to calm you down.

dabi / touya

He wasn’t.. mad. Not mad. Just.

Just- bewildered

He just stared for a second at your shaking figure, and the bunny-eared hero that’s got an arm around your neck

Soon, he was one of the first to yell. Well, not really yell, as he was talking to you, but he spoke like he was definitely irritated.

“Y/n, come here.”

A lil nervous, you wiggled out of Mirko’s grasp, and jogged to your lover. You could see the vague frustration in his scarred face.

Soon enough, the fight broke out, leading to your warehouse-like hideout to be broken down, and while some of the other members of the LOV fought the hero, you, Dabi, and a couple others fled to somewhere new.

You’d be worried about if the other members would find your location, but Dabi simply stated he’d keep in touch with the others.

Dabi sat you down, his blue orbs staring into your own

“So. What happened?” He sat across from you on the grassy floor of the abandoned building.

You started tearing up, but you didn’t want him to think you were weak, so you held the heels of your hands to your eyes. You feel warm, rough hands against your wrists, and he pulls your hands down.

“Look at me when you’re talking to me, mouse.” he demanded softly, still staring into your eyes.

You sighed. You knew it wasn’t really your fault, you didn’t mean to have Mirko follow you to your hideout. You didn’t mean to make everybody move again.

You never mean too. But it happens.

“Well, uh, I was out getting things and Mirko recognized me, and she knew I was with you guys, so she practically death gripped me, and made me tell her where you were and.. I didn’t wanna get my ass kicked by her.”

He let out a deep sigh. A couple moments passed before he moved to sit beside you, grasping your hand. “Mouse,” he squeezed your hand, “I’ll tell you this right now. It wasn’t your fault. But, I’ll give you a better option when you go out. How about I buy you a new hoodie, and you start wearing a mask, hm? Don’t want you unintentionally risking our safety again.”

“Sorry..” you shied away from his stare, but he grabbed you right back, holding your chin.

“Hey. Don’t shy away from me.” he squeezed your chin, “let’s go somewhere else, mouse.”

tomura / tenko

As the leader of the LOV, and pure hater of all heroes, he’s definitely pissed

Not necessarily at you, but at the woody hero who had you wrapped in his branches.

Between the grip Kamui Woods had on you and the severe death glare Tomura shot him, there was enough tension that you could cut it with one of Toga’s blades.

Tomura got up immediately, storming up to the hero, and the battle commenced quickly.

You ended up being wounded during the fight, a bigger cut on your leg.

Later, Tomura had ended up getting away.

And that’s when he noticed your cut.

“Y-.. y/n..?” he spoke quietly at the sight of your bloodied leg. You winced trying to shift to look at him. “Oh.. ohh.. oh my god..”

He rushed towards you, getting on his knees kneeling next to you. “Holy shit.” Was all he spoke before he yelled at some other member to get a med kit.

As soon as they’d arrived, Tomura shuffled to get his protective gloves on, and he made quick work in getting you patched up. “Damnit.” he mumbled.

“Damnit.” He seemed so… upset. And not in a way you were used to.

Sometimes it was little bursts of frustrations (usually caused by hero news or something), or him yelling at the other members because they fucked something up.

This time he sounded so.. hurt. Like, genuinely hurt.

It made you tear up. He took notice quick.

“Babe..? Oh god what now? What did I do?” He seemed so worried.

“It- it’s nothing, just.. my leg hurts.” you were a terrible liar. He saw right through you, placing a gloved hand on your uninjured thigh.

“You’re an awful liar,” he said, “now, I’ll ask nicely since you just love me being so nice to you.”

He sighed, brushing his hair back a bit. “Sweetheart, what’s wrong?”

You blushed at the nickname, knowing perfectly well how it affected you. You gave in. You had to. “Well.. seeing you so upset, and not in the way I’m used to, it.. made me sad.”

His face softened ever so slightly. Even under all that scratchy exterior, you could tell when he was showing genuine emotion. “Babe, I’m upset because you got hurt. That stupid hero brought you here against your will, and of course I have to deal with it, but all that caused you to hurt yourself. Stupid fucking heroes. Always thinking they’re doing good when they’ve only brought harm upon some innocent people. You didn’t do anything. And he just snatched you up like some treasure map, leading him to the little x-marks-the-spot.”

You shakily sighed, and threw your arms around him. Which, in hindsight was a bad idea, because you winced at the pain in your thigh. He tried his best you hold you. You sat there for a while, content.

Until, of course your thigh started feeling wet and warm.

He was startled, but as per usual, he maintained somewhat of a calm composure.

He was still wildly confused, however.

How could his lovely possibly lead a hero to their hideout? It didn’t make sense.

Then it clicked. You were forced to.

So, him and the rest of the league took care of the hero who’d nabbed you. Forcing you to betray some of the only people you had in life.

After the fight had ended, you were crying a bit. Sat in a corner, arms wrapped around your knees, salty tears streaming down your face.

He walked up to you, and got on a knee in front of you.

“Darling? Hey, why are you crying?” he soothed, holding one of your hands.

It only made you cry harder, and you lept onto him, holding him tight. “I brought that stupid hero here! I was weak.. and he.. he forced me to lead him here..!” You looked at his face, which held a look of worry, as well as empathy.

“My love,” he held you close, “it wasn’t your fault. It’s not like you meant to lead them here. Right?”

You nod, and he gives a small smile, his mask discarded on the ground. He’d taken off all his head gear, and you could see the way his hair was messy and disheveled from the fight, and how his eyes held a compassion he reserved solely for you. “Good. I know you would never lead.. heroes here on purpose.”

He landed a soft kiss on your head, and he wiped away your tears with his gloved thumb. “Now, wipe away those tears, sweetheart. They don’t suit you.”

You smile, and wrap your arms around him as he pulls you up.

“Let’s go see how the others are holding up, hm?”

Of course, he was quite.. split about the whole situation. (wow such a comedian omg)

But in all seriousness, he just stared.

“What?! They brought a HERO here?! How could they?! Wait no it wasn’t their fault. But it must’ve been!”

You would just stare at him, as the mountainous lady hero holding you gripped you tight. She’d flung you on the ground. “Ah, so you weren’t lying to me!” she’d say

Of course, Twice and the rest of the villains would put good work in at taking care of Mt. Lady.

Although, to yours and the LOV’s dismay, you had to relocate. You guys weren’t safe anymore.

As soon as you found solice, you broke down.

He didn’t know how to react at first

“Oh, uhm, sweetie, why are you crying??” He’d come close to your shaking frame against the wall. “Don’t cry! I don’t think it was your fault! At least, I’m pretty sure I don’t. Nope, I don’t!”

You looked up at him, tears streaming down your face. “Jin.. I led her here. Of course it’s my fault!”

“No no no! Didn’t she make you lead her here? If that’s the case, then it’s not your fault! Don’t worry!” He grabbed you, wrapping you in a hug in his big arms. “No crying! Poof poof, no more tears!”

You giggle through tears at his goofiness. You poke his chest. “Jin-Jin, I think you’re squeezing me to death.”

His eyes widen. “NO NO I’M SORRY-“ he let go, then held you again. “Well, I’m just hugging you. Just being a bit tight?”

You roll your eyes playfully, and nod. “Yep. Just squeezing me a bit. No worries though Jin-Jin.” You kiss his cheek, his stubble grazing you a bit. “Sorry for being so emotional.. I thought I’d really screwed up.”

He frowns a bit, and pets your hair back. “No, no you didn’t! Don’t worry sweetie, you’re okay! I know you.. you didn’t mean to. We never mean to, but stuff happens! And we got it alllll taken care of, so don’t worry your pretty little head.” He gives you a smile. Then he stares off into space for a second. Then looks back at you. “Sweetie, can I put my mask on?”

You nod, knowing how he gets when he has his mask off for too long. “Yes, oh my god I forgot.” You help tug his mask back on, and you can see his smile through the mask.

“I love you, sweetie.” He wrapped his arms around you a bit tighter.

“I love you too, Jin-Jin.”

You stayed like that for a while, until of course you were interrupted by one of the members.

5 hc game: au where Aizawa is nearby and saves Tenko, as he wouldn't ignore a lost toddler with blood on their hands

You narrowly won a kindness in a poll and so I shall not be tricksome and derail this prompt to the existing ten^3 au where Aizawa would be a minor character

1- so a first-year student Aizawa is walking to UA one day and hears something in an alley. He thinks it's a cat and goes to look, instead finding A Whole Child who has clearly seen better days. He tries to ask the kid what's wrong, show the UA uniform and that he's gonna be a hero, but the kid just shies away. When Aizawa gets closer, Tenko reaches out to touch a trashcan next to him, which turns to dust and spills the trash out.

2- "Oh. Can you not control your quirk?" He asks, and gets a little headshake. "And you don't want to hurt me?" A nod.

"That's ok, I can erase quirks, see?" His eyes glow yellow and his hair floats up. He tosses Tenko a trashed chip bag, and when Tenko picks it up, it doesn't decay.

Tenko throws his arms around Aizawa's neck and bursts into tears.

3- now extremely uncomfortable, and erasure no longer active, Aizawa stands up. He figures it's not the end of the world if his UA jacket gets decayed, or even his shirt, he'll just pull an Oboro and change into his gym clothes. But he does decide he needs to get this kid to the real heroes at UA who can actually handle this.

That plan is derailed when, after some time walking, a very tall man with white hair in a suit steps out into the street, frowning that someone took the kid before him. The frown deepens when he calls for Tenko Shimura, and the kid just cries harder, leading Aizawa to look back, activate erasure, and start running

4- Aizawa doesn't go to UA, he knows it's clear from his uniform where he would. It's also clear from the chaos behind him that erupts as soon as his stinging eyes blink shut that whoever that is, he's a villain and bad news. Instead, he hides and calls Oboro, then hangs up when he hears Oboro isn't at school, then calls Hizashi, who is. "Tell sensei a villain tried to kidnap a five year old and is currently after both of us." Then he hangs up, and calls the police.

5- Aizawa keeps moving and hiding with Tenko, trying to stay away from the apparently very powerful villain, but is really only saved by All Might appearing and AfO making the choice to leave because he did not want to ensure All Might actually finds Tenko first- after all, he can get the kid later from UA, and the absolutely fascinating quirk of the boy who grabbed him too.

AfO does not predict that as soon as Recovery Girl hears Tenko's name, she calls Gran Torino and has him race to UA right away. Initially he was only going to take and hide Tenko, but Tenko refused to leave without his hero Aizawa, and Gran agreed that he had made himself a target of AfO too. Aizawa, who is again, like fifteen years old, is very put out by this but at this point, he's stuck with them so.

I really want a naruto/bnha crossover fic but it's just aizawa being snatched into the narutoverse somehow and he looks around and sees a bunch of tiny baby murder ninja walking around with their Itty bitty hands and extremely sharp objects and he's just. No. Immediately no.

So he becomes like an academy teacher or jounin-sensei or SOMETHING and he teaches these kids how to Not Die but mostly he teaches them how to handle their emotions. How to deal with it when a teammate or comrade dies. And of course, deep down, Aizawa is still a Pro Hero, fighting against all odds to protect and save as many as he can, and he never really cared about what the government thought anyway. So what's a couple well-placed rumors here and there, whispers to henged shadow clones (oh and wasn't that such an interesting discovery. Chakra. It's like a Quirk except mostly everyone uses it and you can invent new Quirks and something something his Quirk translated into a shiny new dojutsu that blocks people from using their chakra. Understandably, he kept this to himself... aside from the couple of ninja ((hatake and tenzo)) who just happened to be the object of his ire when he first popped up in this world and had no idea what was going on, but they didn't say anything. Yet.) in front of the older Clan members picking up their kids from the academy, maybe some simple poison in a select few's tea; It didn't take Aizawa very long from being isekai'd into a random stranger that somehow looks remarkably like him and also just got back from a five-month-long mission outside of Konoha (so of course it makes sense if his personality was a little different than before... besides, it's not like he was anything special before he came back to Konoha) to figure out that something very suspicious smelling was going on in the underbelly of Konoha, and he was going to figure out what it is. So.

He does a little sniffing around, a vague inquiry here and there, and surprise surprise, Konoha's Roots are infected. So. What does Aizawa do? Well, what any reasonable, logical, rational person would do in that instance.

He kills some people.

And yeah yeah, he's a Pro Hero, he shouldn't be killing people, but this is a different world. It's kill or be killed and he just so happens to have a bunch of very impressionable young brats to teach. He can't exactly go around accusing council members of treason, no, he'll leave the evidence behind to speak for itself after the body is discovered. So.

Shimura Danzo is dead.

Aizawa Shouta is alive and very very regretful that he took his jelly pouches and coffee (oh sweet, sweet coffee) for granted. He's not quite sure how Iruka does it, dealing with all the rambunctious brats without a single drop of caffeine. If Aizawa were any more a reasonable human (let's face it, he's utterly insane at this point), he'd probably chalk it up to:

Iruka: relatively normal Chuunin, seen some crap, unexpected genius in the form of dry wit and a sharp, calculating gaze. Also a little too used to baby murder ninjas waving sharp pointy objects in the air like they're pencils. Or suspiciously shaped chopsticks.

Aizawa: perpetually exhausted jounin (apparently), not from this world, definitely traumatized, not quite as unexpected genius in the form of sarcasm and glares that could make hell freeze over, may or may not have killed a councilman to protect his brats (but it's not like anyone else knows that).

Out of the two of them, clearly one is more capable than the other at dealing with baby ninjas.

Then again, Aizawa had to deal with the infamous Class 1-A, trouble magnet extraordinaires and professional problem children designed to make his hair go grey and his eyes to fall out from Quirk overuse before he's fifty. So, maybe he shouldn't he as surprised about baby murder ninjas as he is. Hm.

Either way. Aizawa is definitely not letting a bunch of twelve year olds run around ill prepared to do what it takes to survive. And also help people. Because he's still a Pro Hero (even if he doesn't feel like one).

I HAVE NO IDEA why I suddenly transformed into some writing genius when I genuinely haven't written in YEARS bc I can never get the flow and pacing and dialogue or whatever right... but take this! And enjoy! And PLEASE!! write it!! Take my ideas and use them!! Also please tag me if you do I am starved for good dadzawa content and also some good old naruto rewrites. Saw your ask about fic "fix it" and fics " with passion" and yes I agree. I'm doing two currently. Rogue and Wrong Heaven aus are basically that...and the most change I made is "lets stop dogpille on Izu"

But your idea made me think smth. Tenko le hero...would have the choice of wanting to be smth else? Bc mha is a bit dystopian world...and I can see people forcing him to be one. "You are a Shimura!"

And how Izu and Tenko would meet?

Not about ship here. Its your idea, your fic. But one thing that makes Shig well Shig...is his thing for Izu.

Hero Tenko has 0 reason to care for Izu...guess who has tons of photos said villain?

Also...I do think Tenko would be mistreated in ua.

Which now makes me think on afo. He would take izu in out of the godness of his heart...so it would be easier to believe lady nagant did that than afo.

(I totally think he would have killed Izu, specially if is quirkless Izu. Why? Bc he is afo. He is dumb and cruel)

You may write afo as bad guy as you want but thanks to canon is so hard to see him as a big deal.

To conclude: I think Tenko would be treated badly in ua(courtesy of Aizawa) and I like to think Izu would be somewhat ok if lady nagant is his mentor. Izu destroying Bk's life is sexier than him just murdering him

Indeed :) I like your stories too and seeing Izu get the appreciation he deserves.

A good point, since we don't really see how hero families really work or if there's prestige or expectations of heroism that come with that it could be easy to see Tenko as expected to continue the family line of heroism.

However, in my story I am thinking of a different angle - enter Dadmight. Instead of having AFO twist little Tenko like he did in canon, an ally of AM finds him and... cue the number one hero navigating his way into fatherhood as well as nurturing Tenko to help him heal from his trauma. Which inspires little Tenko to want to save people like All Might does (and Nana did.)

For the first part, that's a spoiler for now 🤫 but I'll have to add to the tags of the story when I post it. Also - did you read my mind? I am planning on having villian!Izu keep up his hero / quirk analysis hobby and be a fan of Tenko.

As for Tenko's time in UA... That'll be spoilers 🤫😏

And Izu does get sweet revenge on Bakugou with the assistance of the LOV and AFO 😁

Do you think All Might will die? And if yes then who will kill him?

Thank you so much, anon ^^! I am trying to be better, i am fine. I hope you are doing well, too :)))).

I dont know that he will die or not but i see possible parallels between him and Endeavour in future chapters.

The last time in manga we saw Allmight, he was rushing to somewhere and i assume its most likely Shigaraki and Deku' side. He always wanted to talk with Shigaraki even since Shimura reveal but he was powerless and now, he thinks Midoriya shouldnt carry all the burden and it is his responsibility so i expect him to go there.

It is mentioned that Allmight will be brutally killed by some villain in Overhaul arc by Nighteye. But we also saw that future can be changed so it is no certain that whether he will die or not. Maybe he can die to save Shigaraki but i think Shigaraki wouldnt like that another person (other than his mother) die by trying to save him. It might be terrible for him so maybe, this time, he and Deku whose flaws are being self destructive heroes might try to live. Which would be better conclusion for their arc.

Another reason why i think he will most likely be involved with Deku saving Shigaraki mission is because Endeavour is involved with Shouto saving Dabi mission right now. (It seems author decide to make adult heroes involve with kids 'saving plan' too). (There might be parallels to Bakugou apologise Izuku moment because Bakugou and Endeavour characters/redemptions etc is parallels but i hope it doesnt happen because that is terrible writing). Allmight is indirectly failed Shigaraki and Endeavour failed Dabi in any way possible. It is their responsibility after all so before Deku and Shouto save their foils, Allmight and Endeavour will take some responsilibity for their past actions. Of course, Allmight is nowhere near as bad as Endeavour and the fact that Allmight will choose to come to Shigaraki while Dabi had to chase after Endeavour to make him face...even this shows the difference between them. So yeah, this is what i think it will happen. Whether they will save them together with kids or they will help kids from behind or they will say 'Sorry' or they will show some sort of remorse action to make Shigaraki and Dabi calm down and meanwhile, kids definitely will show there is hope for future so they can stop killing themselves and others.

Though, there is another thing will most likely happen to save them. Recently there is this repeated theme in league chapters. 'Friends'. Afo made fun of Dabi for not having friends. Spinner asked help from Kurogiri to save Shigaraki and others in a chapter named 'Friend'. Kurogiri is having identity crisis in war by saying 'f-f-frie-friends' and trying to help league and Aizawa-Mic at the same time. Mirio made Shigaraki mad when he said 'You dont have any friends' and Shigaraki screamed 'No! I do have them!'. Dabi and Toga recently bond through Twice's death. Toga is having crisis because she feels disconnected from her dear friends because she cant become them. Even Afo seems to be suspecting about someting with his plan because of it.

If we connect all this together with 'Shouto saying He felt saved because he has friends (class 1a)' and 'Deku shouldnt fight alone, he needs his friends', this friendship theme will definitely have a big role to defeat Afo/solve the problem and save them. They all need their friends. Separating them wasnt really a good plan. They need to come together eventually. Kids will be the key to save them, to change their minds but eventually, it might even big help for them. Especially for Shigaraki since 'save me' is main theme of his arc and since he saved league by giving them a home, they (especially Toga and Dabi since they never showed how much they love league and Shigaraki) might play a role for him to be saved from Afo. The answer is everyone coming together for a better future since this is the story of how everyone become heroes together. And this time, actually saving everyone. (Maybe reaching but if Afo turns into child, maybe he will even be saved idk, maybe this will be Bakugou's role since there is some parallels between them idk and well, the one who dont have friends is him since he used them all so karma too, well, we will see).

Anyways, friends are the key, here.

Izuku Midoriya x Reader

Warnings: Fluff and cute shit at the beginning, injuries/violence, battles

Christmas break had arrived in U.A. and while the students celebrated the holiday the teachers were together in a conference room.

“So, what’s going on here?” Midnight asks looking through the packet of papers given to each teacher.

“Are we restarting the work studies, just like that?” Cementoss questions and their principal all nestled into Aizawa’s scarf responds,

“The agreements we had with all those agencies were made to see how things went. But this time, the public safety commission itself has requested that every hero source student participates in what they’re calling practical field testing.”

“A request?! Are they demanding that our kids head into the field?!” Vlad King says confused but appalled to have all students even first years be involved again was absurd.

“Sounds as if they’re worried about lack of personnel, even though our society’s already saturated with heroes.” Midnight says.

“With the goal of training the students to counteract the villain organizations that have sprouted and grown as of late… Something definitely happened because of Deika City.” Ectoplasm points out.

“It’s a fair bet the League’s involved. Why don’t these folks just come out and say it?” Snipe says.

“I suspect the commission has snigged out some great danger that lies ahead. This document is ambiguous by design, to keep anyone from knowing the truth, so just as Kayama says this work-study request sounds like a message.” Nezu says

“Especially since they can’t just come out and say they’re mobilizing our kids for war. That’d be too jarring.” Aizawa says looking at his coworkers. He didn’t want to think of the possibility of his students fighting in a fight they weren’t prepared for, a fight that could kill them.

“This is unprecedented…” Cementoss murmurs.

“Whatever the case, preparing for danger is a hero’s job. We need to contact the most accomplished heroes out there,” Nezu says and concludes the meeting, “Consider that your winter break homework, and be sure to inform your students once we’re done here…”

Now alone in his office Nezu speaks to All Might and Tsukauchi, “They’ve been in the dormitories for four months now…and we’ve seen no suspicious behavior from anyone.”

“In other words, none of the students are spying for the League of Villains,” Tsukauchi says.

“The next time the League makes a move, assuming we find no connection, then…” Nezu starts.

“The kids in U.A.’s hero course…all have heroic hearts.” All Might defends his students. He knows none of them would ever do anything, they all wanted to be heroes.

“Yes, I know.” Nezu says, “Are you coming back to school today?” He directs his attention to the former Number One Hero.

All Might shakes his head, “We’re too busy, I’m afraid. Unless…Did something happen to Midoriya and Shimura?!”

Nezu laughs shaking his mouse head, “Oh dear. Have you forgotten what day in December it is?”

The Christmas party was in full swing the whole class dressed up minus Bakugo but Mina and Kaminari were trying to get at least a Santa hat on his head. You sat beside Midoriya with Iida on your side completely decked in Santa gear even the beard. You rested your head on his shoulder and he switches hands holding his glass to grab yours rubbing his thumb in a calming motion. The talk of work studies had been brought up and it had been a thought on your mind.

“What are your plans Midoriya? Are you going back to Nighteye’s Agency?” Iida asks looking over at the boy.

“Didn’t Centipeder take over the operation?! You haven’t seen him in a while, right?!” Kirishima says and Midoriya shakes his head.

“I was thinking the same thing, but they been too busy with the new change and Gran Torino can’t take me either, so I’m kind of in limbo,” Midoriya says and Kirishima frowns.

“That sucks! Hey L/n! What about you gonna go back to Fat Gum?” Kirishima says and you sit up slightly looking over at the redhead.

“I’m not too sure while I love Fat Gum I’ve had other offers that had me contemplating.” You say. You did have plenty of offers from heroes when the sports festival happened but you had received a letter in regards to the work-study but it was from someone you hadn’t expected.

‘You have potential with your quirk. Consider coming to my agency. -Endeavor’ Well it wasn’t really a full letter but it was handwritten, signed, and everything! You didn’t tell your classmates or anything that you received a personal letter from the Number One Hero but you did need an opinion from someone who would remain biased on the opinion.

“You’re a dumbass,” Shinso says laying halfway off your bed and looking at you upside down as you lie on the floor the letter resting on your chest.

“I am not! This is a big thing…it’s Mr. Number One after all.” You huff and throw the paper to the side covering your face with your hands groaning. “I just…is this the right decision?” You peek through your fingers seeing Shinso scrolling through his phone before looking over at you.

“Like I said a dumbass,” You go to open your mouth but he continues talking, “You have the Number One Hero asking you personally may I remind you to study at his agency.”

“But Fat Gum and my classmates-” “Forgot about them all for a second. This is about your future right?” He says and you reluctantly nod, “Then you should go to the place that is going to help your future the most, not that there’s anything wrong with where you’re at but are you gonna ignore this opportunity in front of you.” He finishes and it’s quiet and the dumb look on his face when he knows he’s right irks you.

“I hate how you’re right.” “It’s one of my many skills.”

You look over at the letter seeing the application that was attached hesitating before grabbing a pen and filling it out. “Hurry up, Aizawa Sensei wants us for training.” Shinso kicks your leg and you kick it back filling it out.

“HEY! THIS IS S’POSED TO BE A HOLY NIGHT!! WHY’RE TALKING ABOUT ALL THIS SCHOOL STUFF?!” Mineta yells pulling you from your thoughts as he slams his hands against the table.

“C’mon guys Mineta has a point. Especially since it’s time to feast!” Sato says revealing a delicious roast bird. The sound of the door opens as you all were about to feast in,

“We’re a little late…I hope they didn’t start already.”

“Tricky…Treat..?” Eri dressed in the most adorable Santa dress mumbles looking back at Aizawa for guidance who shakes his head, “Not quite...Wrong holiday.”

“IT’S ERI CLAUS!”

Aizawa and Eri quickly joined in the festivities as music was played by Jiro and food were quickly devoured all delicious and filling. You take a sip of your drink a smile resting on your face as Midoriya rambles to Eri who eats up every word. You take in the glint in his eyes and the wide grin as he waves his hands about talking to the young girl. From food to music to the gift swap from your classmates it was a perfect night together.

The night soon started to wrap the night getting to all of you and cleaning up beginning. You look down at the small girl cuddled up to your side her eyes fluttering shut as she tries to stay awake but her falling asleep had made you grow tired as well. Running your fingers through her hair pushing the strands away from her face as she drifted to sleep. Aizawa had come over seeing the child asleep in your lap kneeling down to bring her into his arms. She shuffles a bit in his grasp her eyes slowly opening and waving at you as Aizawa carries her out of the dorms back to the comforts of her bed. You smile before a yawn takes over your body stretching your arms it hits something and you look up to see Midoriya standing above you.

“Hey…” You mumble sleepily and he smiles holding his hand out and you take it as he pulls you to your feet.

“Come on looks like you need sleep too.” He says and you roll your eyes slightly pushing him away but he wraps his hand around your waist holding you close as the two of you head towards your room. Opening your door you throw yourself onto your bed sleep quickly pulling you but Midoriya manhandles you around so you're sitting up even though you groan in protest.

“Nope, you gotta change you don’t wanna sleep in that.” He says holding out a t-shirt and shorts and you groan more looking up at the ceiling. His hands move to pluck the hat off your head before his fingers move to the buttons on your dress you give him a look and he rolls his eyes.

“Such a dirty mind.” He mumbles and you gasp offended and he laughs before pulling the dress over your head and throwing the shirt on after. His touch was gentle and smooth, as his fingers traced over your skin. Some scars from injuries cover you but he doesn’t seem to mind as he helps you change. It wasn’t the first time he’s seen you like this anyway. He finishes looking up at you not realizing you’ve been staring at him his face grows a twinge warm. You smile pushing the hair away from his face leaning down and pressing a kiss to his forehead. He closes his eyes relishing in the feeling and you pull away holding his face in your hands, he opens his eyes grinning at you before thrusting forward and connecting your lips. You squeal as he pushes you back onto the bed as your guys' night is not over yet.

In light of the dormitory system, it was tricky for your classmates to go home, but they were accompanied by Pro Hero escorts and allowed to visit their families for the New Year. You however stayed at the dorms despite Midoriya’s begging for you to come with him. “Y/n please..my mom would love having you over she’s already dying to know more about you,” Midoriya says as the two of you lay in your bed, it was the night before he would return to his home.

“I’ll be alright, spend time with your mother Izuku. Even I did promise Eri I would spend her first New Year with her and I think Aizawa would appreciate having someone watching her as well.” You say and he pouts but nods and you press a peck to his lips.

“Such a baby.” You tease and he gives you a look quickly pulling you under him and a very heated session makeout ensued with Midoriya. You actually had a lot of fun with Eri listening to music, watching the other New Year’s events on TV, and counting down when the ball drops. The two of you crashed on the couches in Aizawa’s residence and he threw blankets over the two of you before joining you on the couch doing some school work before even he fell asleep with you.

The next day you had your bag packed and Aizawa and Eri brought you to the station and you were off to your work-study.

“Welcome. I’m Endeavor.” The flame hero announces to the three males a grin on his face before it quickly drops, “Is that the warm reception you were hoping for? I ain’t thrilled about taking you two on. This is only cuz Shoto asked! I was hoping it’d just be me and him!” He says and Todoroki rolls his eyes.

“You already accepted them, so stop complaining.” “Sh-Shoto!!”

“Ever since our training course, I’ve been thinking…” Bakugo says eyeing the hero, “You’re a jerk.”

“Are you really friends with this kid, Shoto?!” Endeavor scolds his son who looks annoyed being here.

“Whatever. I’ll put up with anything if it means seeing how the top dude operates.” Bakugo shrugs and Endeavor yells at his son, “I toldja to choose your friends wisely!!”

“Thank you for accepting us,” Midoriya says and Endeavor turns to look at the boy, the two had a unique experience during the Sports Festival and he had a feeling this boy had some connection to his rival, the man who always succeeded over him. All Might.

“We’re still waiting for one more.” Endeavor says and the boys even Todoroki look confused, who else would be joining them on their work-study? Maybe it is a sidekick to Endeavor or a fellow Pro-Hero.

“Sorry, I’m late gosh the holiday crowds are no joke.” A familiar voice calls out behind them and the three boys look back seeing a girl dressed in a U.A. uniform but a hat and scarf cover most of her features. As she gets closer her eyes widen seeing the three boys but her eyes were focused on one.

“Izuku?!” She calls out and the boy’s face grows red having some girl call him by his first name. The girl pulls down her scarf taking off her hat revealing snow-white hair and a recognizable face.

“Y/n!?” Midoriya says and the two of you look at each other shocked. The conversation of work-study hadn’t come up between the two of you about where you each were going. So for Midoriya, he thought you returned to Fat Gum’s Agency and you thought Midoriya founded some Agency that was friends with All Might. A flash of movement in front of you and Endeavor hops over the railing and charges forward flames taking over his clothes and burning them off revealing his hero costume.

“Sorry, but I don’t give a crap about anyone but Shoto. YOU WANNA LEARN? STAND BACK AND WATCH!” He yells looking back and seeing the four of you quickly following after him.

“TELL US WHAT WE CAN DO!” Midoriya yells.

“I told you to stand back!! And watch!” He yells and like a bullet of flames disappears ahead of you all.

“He told us to stand back and watch, but…” Todoroki says using his ice to glide along the ground.

“To watch we have to keep up!” Midoriya yells. He was off and running before you even heard the sonic boom. That takes more than just speed. Using All For One in a similar way as Midoriya uses One For All Full Cowling to boost yourself forward.

“When were you going to tell me you were going to Endeavor’s Agency!” Midoriya yells out to you as you all turn the same street after Endeavor seeing the glass from the buildings and cars missing.

“Uh now isn’t really the time! Same with you it’s not like you told me!” You yell back, “Quickly this way!” You yell pointing down a different path than where Endeavor had turned down. Both Midoriya and Bakugo turn down one way heading down while you and Todoroki take the other way to make sure no one tries escaping. From your side of the alley, you see Endeavor shot out with the villain right as three more were going to ambush him, Todoroki quickly sends out a sheet of ice freezing two of them to the ground, and right before Midoriya and Bakugo could attack them feathers swoop in attaching to the thugs and you see Hawks looking at the two boys who recover from their failed attacks.

“Oh! Trainees! My bad. Looks like I was a little faster.” He says as the three thugs land at you and Todoroki’s feet, “Seemed like you were in trouble, Endeavor.” Hawks grins landing beside the two of you.

“Me? Not a chance.” Endeavor glares at the winged hero as he restraints the main villain.

“But it seemed that way, didn’t it, Shoto?” Hawks says looking at the boy who just looks a bit stunned to see him.

“You’re supposed to contact me when you’re in town.” Endeavor says and Hawks shrugs,

“I’m not…I mean, I was just passing by.”

You all moved from the alleyway to an open area where the police cuffed the main villain whose name was Starservant who was yelling nonsense as he was put away.

“Hello. My name is Midoriya!” Midoriya introduces himself and you could see the slight awe in his eye beginning in the presence of the Number Two Hero.

“You’re the kid who smashes up his own fingers, right?” Hawks says and Midoriya sheepishly nods, “Tokoyami filled me in. Man, I wished I could’ve worked with that kid again.”

“But isn’t Tokoyami back at your Agency…?” Midoriya asks and Hawks sighs rubbing the back of his neck.

“Yeah, down in my hometown with my sidekicks. But I’ve got too much going on to be there. I feel kinda bad…about it.” He trails off seeing Bakugo glaring at him.

“Back there-I was faster!” Hawks smirks, “Huh! You think so?” His gaze moves from the blonde landing on you, “Good seeing you again Shimura. Things treating you well?” He says and your gaze shifts slightly seeing Todoroki’s eyes widen by a fraction and you look back at Hawks. Crap.

“Yeah…thank you again Hawks.” You say and you can see the slight pity within his eyes before they move to Endeavor.

“Well, Hawks…what do you want?!” Endeavor says.

“Want? Oh, nothing, really. But have you read this book, Endeavor?” Hawks says before pulling a book from his pocket and you feel a chill run down your spine reading the title.

‘Meta Liberation War.’

“THE METAHUMAN LIBERATION ARMY IS REBORN!!”

“We are the Paranormal Liberation Front.”

There was no way these two weren’t connected…did that mean Hawks was a part of them. Was he a traitor?

“Imagine it, Endeavor..” Hawks’ voice brings you out of your thoughts, “A world where we’ve got time to kill!” His face was stern as he holds the book out to him, “Read it. Please.”

“That’s recommended reading from the Number Two Hero! Maybe I should check it out. Perhaps it holds the secret to his trademark speed…” Midoriya mumbles and Hawks stiffens before turning to face you all holding books in his hands,

“Here, I’ve got copies for everyone!” “He’s so prepared! Where’d those come from?!”

“That’s right, it’s the era of the Number two!” Hawks says giving the four of you each a book, “When it comes to speed, it’s all about reading which way the wind's blowing! I’m recommending it to all my friends and heroes across the country. Because if nothing else, that liberation ideology will be pretty darn fundamental going forward.” Hawks says stepping back and unfurling his wings before he looks at Endeavor.

“At least give the highlighted sections a glance. That’s my second recommendation in so many words. All five of you..good luck with the work-study.” Hey says before flying off the five of you looking after him.

“He’s only 22, but he comes off as much wiser…” Midoriya says.

“Just six years older than us…” Todoroki mumbles.

Bakugo scoffs looking away from where Hawks stood, “Ticks me off.”

Your fingers trace the title of the book a horrible feeling in your gut. What did Hawks have to do with the Liberation Army? Was he involved with the League…Ten-Shigaraki?

“L/n..?” Todoroki calls out and you look up from the book.

“Yeah, Todoroki?” You say a small smile on your face.

“Why did Hawks call you Shimura?” He asks and you’re silent you can feel both Bakugo’s and Midoriya’s eyes on you as your mind runs with a thousand things to say. Fuck what do you say?

“Uh…Shimura…well it’s my second last name. It’s hyphenated but I don’t go by that name anymore.” You stutter out your answer. Please believe it. Please believe it. You yell out internally waiting for his response. Todoroki seems to take it in before nodding. You give a forced smile and Endeavor calls you all to follow, as soon as Todoroki is not looking you let out the biggest sigh of relief.

“WELCOME TO ENDEAVOR’S AGENCY! WE’RE THE FLAMING SIDEKICKERS!” The sidekicks of Endeavor call out.

“This is the first work-study for Bakugo and Shoto, right?” One of Endeavor’s main sidekicks Burnin says, “You four will get right down to business doing what we do around here! But as you can see, with over 30 sidekicks, we ain’t exactly short-staffed! What I’m saying is, you won’t get a chance to shine!” She says with a huge smoke on her face looking specifically at Bakugo who smirks back but you could see the bloodlust in his eyes.

“Fun. So we gotta try to beat the Pros at their own game?” “Bingo!”

“That goes for you too, Shoto! Don’t assume anything just cuz you’re the boss’s kid!” One of the sidekicks calls out, “You kids’ve gotta sink your teeth into this job!”

“This place is so busy!” Midoriya says in awe looking around at the heroes all rushing around off to patrol, calling people in, or doing paperwork.

“Most of the time, we’re either on patrol or on standby! But we also handle over 100 requests every day. From emergencies to escort missions to special events!” Kido explains.

“Great. Let’s get to freaking work then.” Bakugo says cracking his knuckles, “I’ve been pretty ticked off ever since that spoonbill stole my glory.” Did he mean Hawks?

“You’ve got moxie, guy. But we gotta wait for Endeavor’s orders!” Kido says pointing toward the large door.

“He’s sitting on his ass? What happened to those 100 requests!” Bakugo shouts.

“Kacchan, please just calm down!” Midoriya tries reasoning with him.

“HAHA! You’d better cool that head of yours, kid!” Burnin laughs. Your gaze pulls away from the group as they yell about wanting to work staring at the door. He had the book from the Liberation Army about what did Hawks have to do with them? If the Number Two Hero was part of them who knew who else could be there what other heroes were amongst that crowd cheering along to Shigaraki’s words?

“Shoto. Deku. Shimura. Bakugo.” The door opens and Endeavor strides out a dark look covering his feature, he knows something… “You four with me.”

You four were brought to a locker room with the male sidekicks leading the boys to one side and Burnin to another.

“Thank you, Burnin.” You nod and she grins.

“Us female heroes we look out for each other. But I can tell you’re already different from other UA students I’ve seen.” She says and you don’t get to respond as she leaves you to yourself. Moving to your case you open it and pause seeing a new outfit resting inside and you begin to dress. Your boots were similar no laces but straps going around with a zipper on the side keeping everything secure, there was a leather bodysuit keeping your pants and shirt attached a paneling design towards the top. The final pieces were the coat and gloves you were given. Slipping on the fingerless gloves before pulling the coat on. The coat was thin on your skin but felt durable enough to protect you and also keep you safe in the winter condition and summer, maybe a temperature regulator in the fabric. The design of it has panels all around it with it holding together by straps right below your chest and one across your neck. Its angular design with it begin all black created a sharp shape but was still flattering. Looking in the mirror you pause seeing yourself in the eerieness of the outfit from the moment in the bathroom. It was the exact same one you saw then just with the dust and blood covering it. Was this the moment, the fight you were to experience?

Looking back at the case you see a letter resting on the ground. You bend down to grab the card reading the writing.

‘Young Shimura…please accept this upgrade of your uniform. I am always still here. -Toshinori’

“Gift…as if that forgives all that he’s done to you?” His sickening voice fills the room and you see him standing in the reflection.

“As if the things you do were better, you worse than him.” You spit out crumbling out the letter and tossing it aside turning to leave.

“The actions I committed allowed you to become so powerful. You should be thanking me.” All For One says and you spin around staring into the reflection.

“Thanking you? You kidnapped me as a child, tortured me, forced your quirk on me, and made me commit so many crimes that no child should ever have to deal with and you want me to thank you.” You say and you can see in the reflection he grins.

“You should be grateful, you are more powerful than half of those heroes in the world, you could level buildings with a flick of your finger. You were my greatest achievement and soon Tomura will join you.” He grins and you feel a shiver run down your spine.

“What did you do to him?” You say you knew you shouldn’t be concerned about him. He made his decision he wants to purge the world and start it in whatever twisted vision is his.

The mirror warps slightly and you cringe feeling All For One’s cold hand resting on your shoulder as he stands within the reflection and beside you. “Here is just a glimpse of what Tomura is dealing with.”

Pain, unlike anything you’ve experienced rushing through you as Shigaraki’s screams fill your ears and you lose your hearing everything muffled. It was as if someone fired a gun right beside your head. Your veins and nerves explode before healing in an instant the feeling your body was flipped inside out before reverting back to its original state. You seize slamming into one of the lockers with a loud bang crashing to the ground. Gasping for air as your skin thrums with indescribable pain trying to stop this ongoing misery before it disappears and the phantom feeling causes you to shake.

“Tomura is fighting to accept it, but just like you did he will join you. And then….you two will be unstoppable.” All For One says his hand pets your hair and you flinch at the touch still shaking uncontrollably. The weight on your head disappears as you quiver in the empty locker room trying to regain your strength.

Shigaraki was gaining All For One.

I think I have an idea for how Kurogiri and Shigaraki's story could end. Without one or both of them dying, anyway.

I'm going to be completely honest, chances of this theory coming to light are very slim, maybe even impossible, but God damn it these two deserve happiness after everything they went through.

From what we know so far, there are three identities within Shigaraki: All For One, Shigaraki himself (though these two are fused at this point), and Shimura Tenko. Shimura Tenko is where my interest lies, since Midoriya acknowledges that there is a small piece of Tenko within Shigaraki, as we see a glimpse of that sad, angry child during the fight with Bakugo and Best Jeanist. This poor child's life was shaped by trauma and neglect, from both All For One and his own father, and although he did have the love from his other family members, it wasn't enough to prevent him from becoming a monster. Unfortunately, even if the heroes win and they save Shigaraki, he still has to answer for all his crimes. As it stands, his story will not have a happy ending.

However, there might be a way for him to reach a satisfying end that doesn't involve him dying or being imprisoned for the rest of his life, but it also in a way "punishes" him for the misdeeds he carried. And we also know Eri was able to rewind her father into a state of nonexistence.

You might have a good idea of where I'm going with this.

What I'm thinking is, even if this is really far-fetched, it would be really cool if they got Eri to rewind Shigaraki back into Shimura Tenko, a small 5-year-old kid who still hasn't developed his Quirk yet, and Kurogiri is left to take care of him- for real this time. No villainous tyrants looming over their heads, no child abuse, experiments, or manipulation; just a father and his son living the lives they both deserve. Bonus points if Shirakumo and Kurogiri fused into one being, black mist and everything, but with the memories of both lives intact.

On one hand this decision is very iffy as they would be erasing the identity of Shigaraki from existence, including all of his relationships and memories, but on the other hand, they would be alleviating Shigaraki from all of his sins while also giving him a second chance to start over. It would also be more plausible, as the heroes trying to get to Shigaraki may make an enemy out of Kurogiri, which will cause a plethora of other problems they can't afford to deal with. They have way too many casualties and Kurogiri is effectively the strongest person on the battlefield right now.

Not to mention it would be really wholesome to see Aizawa and Yamada visit Kurogiri every now and again to catch up, maybe even help him raise Shigaraki properly. I dunno, I just think it would be neat.

Manga with Me: MHA Pocket Theory Pt 2/2

What the Coming Rain Will Bring to the Shigaraki Showdown

⚠️ Spoiler warning through MHA 362 + Vigilantes 64 (though this covered in the anime to an extent). Will include predictions for upcoming MHA chapters.

Fully aware the new chapter is out but I stayed up until 6A making these predictions so you will receive them untainted by foresight because I always think I'm right even though based on leaks I may be proven categorically incorrect. I maintain 363 won't give us full insight into the Shiggy show down and if you want to understand the importance of the coming rain or the allegory of Deku's name and it's impact on the story (or need a distraction from this impending chapter, read this)

Pretty sure 363 will boomerang back over to Dabi vs Shoto but not before giving us a glimpse of where we left off. I'm going to start by saying that I do not think Bakugo is dead.. at least not yet. If Horikoshi's end game is to use Bakugo's death as an impetus for Deku's hero origin story, I feel like that wouldn't be very in line with Deku becoming, in his mind, a great hero. His failure to save Kacchan would be absolutely devastating and, considering they have been shown to be two halves of the same hero vis a vis All Might, I just don't know that he could overcome that loss and truly espouse Bakugo's Win to Save mentality.

That is, unless Bakugo becomes a vestige for Deku and lives on that way. Which would be the impetus for rounding out Deku's heroic tendencies and provide the catalyst for the person who will forever guide his steps as a hero like Shimura for All might and Oboro for Aizawa. Plus, sometimes, just sometimes, I feel like we get some Bakugo POV instead of Deku's like they're telling a story and fighting for their turn to talk.

This is Bakugo's POV, no one else and I can't help but assume he's laughing as he recalls this exchange which kind of gives strong vestigial vibes.

However, if this is indeed end game, I have two theories for how it will play out based on me thinking way too much at 4AM about shapes and lines on paper.

To the Rescue Albeit Too Late

Deku will arrive and, upon assessing the situation and realizing Bakugo is gravely injured will fly into a rage. This will result in a prolonged and hard won battle against Shigaraki fraught with cruel taunts which will ultimately test Deku's resolve to save Tenko when he knows AFO!Shigaraki injured his Kacchan. We've seen the uptick in strength and propensity to unlock new quirks/moves when Bakugo's safety (or sometimes even just his honor..) is on the line. Upon successfully defeating AFO!Shigaraki and potentially liberating Tenko, he'll reunite with Bakugo under the falling rain (this part is important) and they'll inevitably have a conversation that establishes them as equals and/or confront the complexity of their relationship as Bakugo succumbs to his injuries.

Dead on Arrival

Bakugo's status is ambiguous to the reader BUT Deku is unable to confirm his status as the situation on the battlefield is too dire when he arrives. Given the harm that has visibly come to Bakugo, Deku fights through an onslaught of emotions and rain (still important) to take AFO!Shigaraki down with Bakugo's audible support and encouragement only to find that Bakugo has, in fact, been dead all along similar to Oboro cheering on Aizawa through a broken radio (it was all in his head).

We've already seen Bakugo interacting with vestige!All Might so there's a possibility that this slight of the mind will be as the line between Deku's using his quirks and the vestiges that have come to manifest above his shoulder to advise and support him blurs. Since the final meta quirk has yet to manifest, we only know the following:

No, it is not and would not be romantic, Shimura. This is why you didn't give OFA to Gran Torino because that would have been a cruel burden to pass on to someone you love. Horikoshi, don't get any ideas.

It's meant to be used as a last resort,

It can't be used the usual way as the second OFA holder once did,

The second user is the one who stated that Deku needed people who matched his resolve and could keep pace to bolster him conveniently just as Bakugo found him on the streets. Also, the fact that the second OFA holder looks hauntingly like Bakugo but that's just me.... I wonder if Deku's emotional connection to Bakugo will be the key to unlocking OFA completely only for them to never get that all out fight Bakugo always wanted.

On the one hand, pun intended, either scenario would be a horrible loss for Aizawa to suffer again and, on another, this would be a careless loss caused by All Might sending Bakugo into battle with Deku knowing AFO's propensity to use those you hold dear and twist them against you or into your weakness (literally fostering a relentless hatred for All Might within his mentor's only living relative).

Why Bakugo Can't Be Dead Yet

As covered here, the coming rain has historically brought vulnerability and a reckoning of sorts between Bakugo and Deku. Having received the threat of it in 362, I say we have to assume that either Bakugo still lives or Deku will suffer that reckoning with a vestige of Bakugo, unknowingly or not. Ultimately, I believe that this bout of rain brings Deku's answer to Bakugo's previous reconciliation. While the story, in my opinion, has potential romantic undertones between the two (especially from what we saw from Deku's face off with Toga and his ability to somewhat understand her nature... I wonder why), istg if we get a Destiel type confession just for Bakugo to die I will rampage.

I doubt Deku has a crush on All Might but he'll be damned if he brings Kacchan into this.

As a fan, I want Bakugo to live. While it would be ideal for Deku's final quirk to have some semblance of resurrection or something, that would be such a stupidly simple and ending and resolution to this death which would also be so very unsatisfying. As such, if Bakugo is meant to survive, then he simply hasn't and won't die at all.

I wouldn't; however, be surprised if this is in fact not a misstep on All Might's part and in fact a rational deception to either protect Bakugo or spurn Deku into action. How cruel to use Bakugo like a pawn but it feels like All Might's largely been doing that to Deku this whole time so it lends itself to his new role locked behind closed doors and calling the shots. We've seen the Hero Commission isn't above such underhandedness, is this All Might's resignation to the fact that, sometimes as heroes, you have to be a little unheroic?

Okay, racing to read 363 before I bust a blood vessel. What are your thoughts on my theories? Have I already been proven incorrect?

In which Tenko and Aizawa meet again.

There’s been a new wave of damage rumbling throughout the city. Someone, supposedly a hero, comes on the scene of an emergency and while they do save people, they cause massive destruction as they do so. They're giving heroes a bad name and causing too much destrution to the cities. It's as if someone is trying to do the right thing but either doesn't care enough to minimize the damage or simply doesn't know how to manage their quirk. No way they're a pro. Some say it's only a kid. Most heroes have kept a distance from this person and these events out of fear of his quirk and of being crushed by decaying buildings. The best person to solve this is Eraser Head, as he can erase his quirk and get in close.

The dust is making his eyes sting, even through the goggles, but Eraser waits patiently on a rooftop. He waits until the person's careless destruction renders him isolated, and then he strikes.

Tenko Shimura feels something wrap around his torso and knows instantly what it is. The first words shared between the two of them are "woah, it's Eraser Head! You're my favorite hero! I've always wanted to meet you!" His cheery grin stands in stark contrast to the gray dust settling around them, coating Tenko's clothing and hair. He actually looks overjoyed to see him, which is not a reaction Eraser has ever gotten while apprehending a villain before.

Wait. As the dust settles and Eraser is able to see clearer-- a rush of electric memories shoot through his mind, and he stops, but doesn't lower his stance. "Tenko?"

"You... know who I am?" His voice is puzzled but full of the strange hopefulness that comes from knowing his idol knows of him. But then Eraser lowers his goggles, and Tenko recognizes him instantly. "Aizawa senpai? You’re Eraser Head? -- I always knew you were cool!"

Hmh. Cool? Intriguing but ultimately useless information. Aizawa continues treating Tenko as he would any potentially dangerous person in this situation. "The better question," he tightens his grip on the scarf, "is what you're doing causing such careless destruction. Don’t you live with Torino? Has he raised you so poorly that you would become a villain at such a young age?"

"I’m not a villain! I’m a hero!" These words are spit out with an alarming fire -- one that isn't born from the passion of a young hopeful, but of someone who already feels scorned. "I’m just doing what heroes are too weak to do."

Weak... Eraser's stomach turns. No, no, he's only just a kid, raised by a hero at that, he can't be thinking of heroes this way. "That’s what villains say."

"I’m not a villain!" Once again, there's a frightening bite to his voice, but his tone becomes softer as he begins a confession: "I... I want to be like you. A cool underground guy who helps people on his own and doesn’t care about the system and--"

"maintains law and order," Eraser finishes the sentence for him. "This is not what being a hero is." The pro sighs, taking a few steps closer but not unraveling him yet. "Listen. I'm gonna take you to the police station, then Torino's gonna pick you up. You're gonna go home and stay on the right path. If you wanna become a hero, you have to do it the right way, and this isn't it. You're just causing more harm than good this way."

Yeah, that didn't go over well. It's evident that Tenko's emotions are volatile, perhaps dangerously so. But that comment about him only doing harm -- well, that seemed to get under his skin.

The teenager crumples in on himself, bending over like he's going to be sick before falling to his knees, small cloud of dust kicking up around him. "You're telling me... that trying to do the right thing, trying to save people, only hurt people? Again?!" His hands ball into fists, long nails digging into his palms. "I can't-- I can't do anything right, I still can't -- maybe you're right, maybe everyone's right and I should just be a villain." For the first time since the surprise of meeting his favorite hero, Tenko smiles. But this time, it isn't lit up with excitement, but shining behind it is a fire of sadistic pleasure, stoked by the hurt of what he feels is unending rejection. "Eraser Head thinks I'm a villain... so I might as well become one!" And from his spot on the ground, Tenko presses both hands to the ground, causing the street beneath them to crack and crumble, dust kicking up once more. Eraser is mostly blinded again, and his scarf remains wrapped around Shimura, so he can't propel upwards to escape. All he has left to save him are his words -- not Aizawa's strong suit... but he can do it. He has to. Who knows what kind of horrors this kid could cause if his powers were used with malintent.

"I never said that. And I don't want you to be. Your quirk has potential to do a lot of good. You just have to train it. The right way."

"Too late for that Eraser Head!" He moves to slam his hands on the ground again, but, with the capture cloth still around him, he is suddenly yanked towards Eraser, who now has his hair up and eyes glowing red. The hero lifts his leg and plants his foot on the other person's shoulder.

"Yeah, no it's not. Stop being dramatic. Go home to Torino, make him train you, apply to high schools--"

He's interrupted by Tenko lashing out once again. "I’m not going home to him! Torino tried his best, but I ran away."

Ran away? Not a good sign. Aizawa is frowning with concern. "Why would you do that?"

From his position on his knees, Tenko looks Eraser Head straight in his eyes, the golden glow reflecting back off his gray ones. "I ran away because he didnt tell me that Shirakumo senpai died."

The mere mention of his name is enough to make Aizawa go pale. He remains stiff and stong in his pose, but is silent for a beat too long.

"I see. He lied to you, and out of grief you ran away to try to be a hero because you feel upset that no one saved your friend." Aizawa's wistful frown deepens into a pained glower. "I was there. I was the one who didn't save him. Sure, the pro heroes we were working with also should have helped but... I was the one who should have saved him -- I was the one who should have died instead..." Normally stone-faced in the face of any kinds of horror, tears are pricking Eraser's eyes. He won't complain though, the moisture is useful.

"I wish you had!"

Yeah, that killed any sentiment that was threatening to show itself. He's going to consider this a wake-up call and shake off his emotions and get back to the task at hand. How to keep this kid from falling completely off the deep end. Tenko is writhing in his restraints now, and as he is, the danger of his quirk starts to set in for Aizawa. One reach forward and he would be dust, too. So Shota changes course entirely. Mostly to try to get the outcome he wants, but also because it is true: "All this time i’ve wondered what he told you and if you were okay."

Tenko stops writhing, now bone still, eyes wide staring at the ground, contemplating. Eraser takes this moment to blink finally. "You're just saying that."

"No. I don't waste my breath saying things I don't mean."

"You mean you..." his eyes flicker up from the ground to once again meet Aizawa's own, no longer gold. "You remembered me? And thought about me?"

"Of course." There's a breathiness to his voice that doesn't make him sound particularly convincing.

Convincing or not doesn't seem to matter. The vile hatred and tension that begins to seep from Tenko is tangible, unsettling, making the hairs on the back of his neck prick. "Why didnt you come find me."

"I had my own grieving to deal with. I didn't think I could help you."

While earlier the boy crumpled in on himself, now he is lashing out. He struggles and writhes in his restraints, fighting against Eraser as much as he can. "You should've protected me! You should've been there for me! Even you won't be there for me!"

It's like the first time. The moment invades his vision again, as if he were transported back to that very moment, just a small child in his back yard watching everything he knows crumble around him. But it's invigorating. That hot, sharp thrill of hatred is rising in his chest again, tingling through his extremeties to his palms, to his fingers, and Tenko Shimura reaches out to strike--

But when his fingers find Eraser's leg, nothing happens. He looks up, finding an annoyed set of gold eyes glaring down at him.

"Yes, I will." The hero sighs, removing his foot from his shoulder and planting it on the ground, squatting down to meet Tenko at eye level.

"I wasn't there for you then, but I'm here for you now."

Why am I making this vow? Why am I choosing to put the burden of wrangling this murderous child on myself? Well, because someone has to. And there's no one better than me, possibly the only figure he looks up to, potentially the only person he could want to be around. He's already so violent and on the brink of villainy, he has to be saved...

"From now on, Tenko. I promise I will protect you."

Eraser Head reaches out and takes one of Tenko's hands in his own, interlacing all five fingers.
