13!
13. what was the last book you read?
Yesterday I finished Peter Darling by Austin Chant. It's a queer, trans reimagining of Peter Pan, where Peter is a trans man (previously known as Wendy Darling). He left Neverland as a child and has now returned after ten years in the real world. The book is about Peter coming to terms with his life, accepting change, and his odd attraction to Captain Hook.
Austin Chant is one of my absolute favourite writers (I'd really recommend checking out his other books, Coffee Boy and Caroline's Heart) and this book lived up to that standard. Absolutely great! Although now I'm sad because I've read all his work and I have no more books of theirs left to read ;;

Indie Bookstore Adventures: Austin Edition
Tumblr media
Yesterday was my birthday (I have officially upgraded to version 3.1!). When my partner asked me how I wanted to celebrate my new revolution around the sun, I told him that I wanted to spend the day going to my favorite independent bookstores in town, as well as some newer ones that I hadn’t yet had the chance to visit!
If you know anything at all about the indie bookstore scene in Austin, you have probably at least heard of BookPeople – as you should! Not only is BookPeople the largest independent bookstore in the state of Texas, it’s also a cornerstone of the literary community in Austin. (They also make very yummy tea lattes and Italian sodas in their coffee shop, FYI.) And don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely one of my favorite places in town. But for my birthday, I wanted to venture into some new(ish) territory with some of my city’s more hidden gems for book lovers. I was not disappointed.
Titan Moon Comics (Cedar Park) I had visited Titan Moon Comics once before and loved it so much that I definitely wanted to return for my birthday! This little treasure of a comic shop is tucked away in a shopping center in the suburb of Cedar Park. They have an amazing collection of classic and contemporary comics and graphic novels, as well as a decently-sized manga collection. It’s an all-ages comic shop that carries comics that are appropriate for kids and teens alongside no shortage of selections for adult readers. Something that I really appreciate about them is that they carry a lot of selections from women and LGBTQ creators. They also host RPG and CCG events for both kids and adults. They have plenty of D&D supplies, a store membership program, and a comic book club, as well as incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. It may require a bit of a trek, but it is absolutely worth it if you’re a comic book lover.
Snags: Labyrinth: Beyond the Goblin City. This is a collection of side stories based off of the classic Jim Henson film told in graphic novel form, with contributions from a variety of artists and writers. As an avowed Henson and Labyrinth fan, there was no way I was going home without it.
Saga: Volume 2: Brian K. Vaughn’s Saga is one of my favorite series. I read the first two volumes in college for a class on graphic novels and promptly proceeded to devour as many volumes as I could get from the public library. Now that I’m older and have (slightly) more disposable income, I’ve decided to start adding them to my home collection. I picked up Volume 1 on my first visit to Titan Moon, and naturally had to acquire the second on this trip.

Black Pearl Books
Black Pearl Books is a Black owned, family-run bookshop, and you absolutely must give it a visit if you’re in the area (or take a look at their online store if you’re not!). They carry titles in every genre and for every age level, as well as some really cool crafts from local artists. They also have a community book exchange where you can take a book for free and leave one in its place! The staff was so sweet and welcoming, and they even gave us a tour around the shop since it was our first time visiting.
Snags: Delicious Monsters by Liselle Sambury: This is a thriller told from the perspective of two young Black women in alternating timelines who both have a mysterious – and haunting – connection to the “Miracle Mansion” and a host of horrors that lurk within. But it’s not simply a tale of a haunted house: it’s a story about facing the monsters that hide in plain sight, which – unfortunately – are often the people closest to us. I know that it’s going to be a heavy read, but as a survivor myself, sometimes it’s cathartic to read about the darker parts of the human condition; while everyone processes their experiences differently, I know that I personally enjoy reframing survivorship in an artistic way because it’s a way to take control of the narrative of your experiences, which is sometimes the only thing we can do to heal and move on. I’m looking forward to seeing the approach Sambury takes in this book.
Tumblr media
First Light Books
This is a new indie bookshop that opened up this year in the Hyde Park neighborhood. The building it occupies was formerly a post office that was an important staple of the neighborhood, and the owners of First Light wanted to ensure that the new bookshop remained a community-centered space. It’s an incredibly cozy shop complete with a book nook and a tiny coffee shop and cafe area, as well as patio seating outside (there’s also a walk-up coffee window that’s open to the public). For being a small bookshop, they have a pretty good selection of titles and some cool gift items as well. They’re also very receptive to community feedback: I signed up for the membership program (because of course I did) and within a day was sent a welcome email with a survey for what sort of books and events I’d like to see at the shop. I especially recommend stopping by if you happen to be around the UT campus, as it’s not too far of a trek north of the Forty Acres – though far enough away for some peace and quiet. Snags: We Have Always Lived in the Castle and Dark Tales by Shirley Jackson: I’ve always enjoyed Shirley Jackson’s short stories, and We Have Always Lived in the Castle has been on my TBR list for ages, so no time like my birthday to get my own copy. I also got my partner a copy of A Clockwork Orange because he’s a fan of the film but has never read the novel.
Tumblr media
Kinokuniya
Okay, I’m cheating a little with this one: Kinokuniya isn’t technically an independent bookstore. But it is one of my favorite bookstores in the world, and since my partner had never been, I insisted that we visit for my birthday.
Kinokuniya is a magical wonderland for manga lovers, with a huge selection of notable series as well as more obscure ones, in every genre and age category. (Don’t worry, all of the, um…mature manga are sealed to keep the young’uns at bay.) They also carry manga in both English and Japanese. But it’s not just a manga shop – they have a huge selection of English language books, ranging from literary classics to cookbooks to graphic novels to contemporary YA, and everything in between. If, like me, you are of the witchy inclination, they even have a sizable collection of books on witchcraft and Paganism, as well as a nice selection of Tarot cards. They also have plenty of anime collectibles and a fabulous selection of pretty stationary. Oh, and a sizable section of Studio Ghibli merch complete with a lovable huggable life-sized Totoro plushie, naturally.
Snags:
The Secret History of Christmas Baking: Recipes and Stories From Tomb Offerings to Gingerbread Boys by Linda Raedisch: I.Love.Baking. I detest cooking large meals, but I will happily bake enough cookies to feed an army. And I’m always incredibly busy baking around this time of year to celebrate Yule (the winter solstice). Moreover, I’m a history nerd and I love learning about the obscure or overlooked origins of even the most mundane things. And man, has this book delivered on that so far. The history of so many beloved Yuletide dishes we enjoy in the western world is fascinatingly complex – and sometimes disturbingly dark – interweaving cultures across thousands of years, from ancient Egyption bakers to the medieval confectioners of Baghdad to the pagan Samnites of southern Italy who were cooking up a rudimentary form of nougat in their sacred walnut groves in the time of the Caesars to the interior European Celts to – naturally – the peoples of Germany who gave the English (and, later, us Americans) the modern tradition of the Christmas tree. The book also includes plenty of tasty recipes and fun table crafts to enjoy on the tour, of course.
I also got a special dual-language edition of Winnie-the-Pooh that has the original British English text on one page side-by-side with the Japanese hiragana translation on the other. I have adored Winnie-the-Pooh since childhood (I have an omnibus collection of the original books) and languages are one of my special interests. I already own a Greek copy of Pride & Prejudice, so I figured that this would be another great collectible to add to my tiny multilingual book collection.
Tumblr media
Vintage Bookstore & Wine Bar
Yes, you read that right. Vintage is both a bookstore and a wine bar, and it is undoubtedly one of the most gorgeous bookshops I’ve ever been to. This family-owned shop is housed in a beautiful old building downtown with the bookstore and wine bar on the first floor and seating on the first and second floors, along with a small yard outside. They carry fiction and non-fiction YA and adult books (they even have a separate room devoted entirely to fantasy and sci-fi) and the wine bar carries a variety of wines, beer, and mocktails along with some bakery treats. They also have a small market-style refrigerator where you can purchase charcuterie supplies to create your own spread. We definitely hung out here and enjoyed ourselves here for a while (and I recommend that you stop by and do the same).
Snags:
In the Shadow of Perseus by Claire Heywood: Let’s be real: most if not all of the classical Greek “heroes” were no heroes at all. Nevertheless, I have always loved Greek mythology and I never can pass up a retelling of the myths, especially when it includes a feminist reframing. (Case in point, Lore Olympus is my favorite comic. Ever.) This is the story of Perseus as seen through the eyes of the three most prominent women in his myth: his mother Danae, his victim Medusa, and his wife Andromeda. Their stories all intersect to create a very different narrative than the one you’ll find in the classical texts.
The Dressmakers of Auschwitz by Lucy Adlington: I don’t often purchase non-fiction books – if I’m in the mood for non-fiction, I usually prefer to check titles out from the library or borrow from a friend. But this one really caught my eye. It’s a little-known history of the Holocaust centering on a group of 25 female prisoners in Auschwitz who were chosen to sew beautiful garments for the elite wives of the SS guards and officers and used their sewing talents and bonds of found family and friendship to resist the Nazi regime and survive the horrors of the death camp. It even includes an interview with the last surviving seamstress. When we learn about the Holocaust in school or discuss it in conversation, we usually only focus on the fact that Hitler and the Nazis lulled millions of Germans into either supporting their cruel agenda or at least turning a blind eye to the evils of the Third Reich. It’s less common that we hear about the widespread resistance movements from people across Germany (and beyond) – both from targeted groups, and from Germans who did choose to fight back and protect their neighbors. And it’s critically important that these stories get told as well, especially in this day and age when so many of the horrors of the past are reemerging; they remind us that we can fight back against injustice, even in the smallest ways, and we can win.
Honorable Mentions
While they didn’t make my birthday bookstore-hopping list this year, these are some other fabulous local book and comic shops that I recommend: Bookwoman. This is Austin’s home-grown feminist bookstore, celebrating the work of women and queer authors. They carry books in all genres, and they even have a small children’s book section!
Malvern Books. Located near the UT campus just off Guadalupe Street, this is one of my favorite little bookstores in town that primarily carries work from local and regional authors.
Austin Books & Comics. Called “the library of Alexandria of comics” by the Austin Chronicle (and inducted into their “Best Of” Hall of Fame), ABC has been serving the fandom needs of nerds across Central Texas since 1977.
Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy. This local staple has been in business for 35 years, and has since opened four locations outside of Austin (including one all the way in Columbus, Ohio!). It’s a one-stop shop for all things D&D, CCG, RPGs, board games, comics, miniatures, collectibles, and more!
I hope you’ll check some of these bookshops out if you’re in the Austin area. I plan to do more posts like these whenever I have the opportunity to visit new independent bookshops (though they might be a bit scattered since I don’t travel much). Until next time!

Omigod ideaaa!
Heathers but it’s “Austins” with Tomassian as Veronica and Jean Duparc as JD
In Paris, 1989, it’s Austin Tomassian’s last year of Lycée, and he just want to get by without any sort of incidents
That includes trying to stay off the radar, lest he face the wrath of the school’s hellish hierarchy
He’s got his best friend, Spinelli, and the two are often tortured by Anar Cissique and Santiaco Lyte, the quarterback and linebacker on the school’s football team
DuPont is filled with an iron fist by the Austins: weak-willed and quiet Austin Boulet, bookish yes-man Austin Quinlan, and "mythic bitch" Austin Armbruster
When Austin Tomassian’s talent for forgery gets the Austins out of detention, and they learn his name and see how beautiful he is under all those layers of sweaters, they give him a makeover and elevate him to their inner circle. This, of course, makes him the new object of everyone’s desires
During his first week as an official memeber of the clique, Armbruster orders Tomassian to forge a love letter from Chloé to Spinelli, tempting Tomassian with the promise of popularity
As he does this, the mysterious, sultry, theater-quoting new kid, Jean "J.D." Duparc, criticizes Tomassian for betraying his friend
Tomassian: I-it’s fine. Besides, Spinelli’s not gonna get hurt, or anything.
Jean: How do you figure, dear?
Tomassian: He’s… Well, he-
Jean: Just because he’s not attracted to girls, doesn’t mean he won’t get hurt.
Tomassian: How do you?
Jean: A fellow queer knows her people, cutie. *Winks and leaves*
At first, Tomassian’s not impressed, but after seeing Jean hold off on his own against Anar’s advances and beating him and Santiaco to a pulp, Tomassian finds herself unexpectedly attracted to him
Meanwhile, Karan and Sanvee confess to each other that that they are not sure they like their son’s new friends and would prefer if he was friends with Spinelli again
The night of Chloé Bourgeois’s homecoming party, Tomassian flirts with Jean at a 7-Eleven, where the latter extols the virtues of the Slurpee for numbing his grief about his mom
They would’ve kissed if not for Armbruster barging in demanding for Corn Nuts
At Chloé’s homecoming party, Tomassian gets incredibly drunk and a bit high as he’s having too much fun at his first high school party
It’s all going great until Spinelli shows up looking for Chloé. When he finds her, he shows her the note and tries to explain that he’s not interested, but Chloé’s a mean drunk. Seeing him, the Austins get an idea
Right in the middle of the party, as a treat, the Austins propose that one lucky student should get to whack a piñata in the shape of the rival school’s mascot. And that lucky student is Spinelli
Oh, but get this. They made the piñata- a pig- look like him
Tomassian’s surprisingly lucid enough to throw the piñata in the pool, and he angrily resigns from the clique right before vomiting on Armbruster’s shoes
He vows to destroy Tomassian’s reputation and make his life a living hell on Monday right before he heads back inside. With nothing left to live for, Tomassian breaks into Jean’s bedroom to have sex with him…
But, Jean sees that he’s obviously drunk, and offers to cuddle him instead
Jean: You’re drunk.
Tomassian: You’re sexy.
After suffering tormenting dreams, Tomassian with Jean in tow, heads over to Armbruster’s estate the next morning to apologize and get back in his good graces
But, he’ll only accept the apology if they mix him a hangover cures. But, while Tomassian gets the ingredients, Jean adds toxic drain cleaner to the mug when he’s not looking
Armbruster: *Drinks the poisoned Prarie oyste and starts choking* … Corn… Nuts! *Collapses*
Tomassian panics, but Jean convinces him to forge a s*icide note, which paints a more complex, misunderstood Austin Armbruster. This fictionalized version of him fools the cops, wins the school's sympathy, and Armbruster becomes even more worshipped in death than he was in life
Tomassian tries to get on with his normal life, but he is berated and mocked by Austin Armbruster's ghost, who warns that he had kept the other two Austins in check and with him gone, things will get worse
One evening, he receives a call from Jean, pleading him to come to the cemetery, where he finds Anar and Santiaco passed out on the ground
Tomassian: What happened?
Jean: I was just pouring a brewski on Armbruster’s grave, as, you know, solitary and shit. Then this jackass comes out of nowhere and tries to grab my ass!… So, I kicked his.
Meanwhile, An unleashed Austin Quinlan assumes Armbruster status and symbolic silver ring, becoming even more of a tyrant than Armbruster was
And Anar and Santiaco tell everyone they had sex with Jean last night. Jean is branded a slut, and when Tomassian tries to attack them to defend Jean, they savagely beat him
Jean and Tomassian comfort each other and plan a vengeful prank: he will lure the jocks to the cemetery with the promise of making their fictional threesome real, then together they will shoot them with tranquilizer "Ich lüge" bullets to knock them out before leaving a forged s*icide note confessing, they were gay lovers
When the jocks arrive, Jean shoots Anar, but Tomassian misses Santiaco. As he realizes Anar is dead and the bullets are real, Jean shoots Santiaco dead and proclaims his undying love and devotion to a horrified Tomassian. No one can come between them, and no one can ever hurt him
At Anar and Santiaco’s funeral, Tomassian, distraught reflects that they could have outgrown their immaturity, but Jean shuts that down
Grief-stricken, Anar’s proclaims that even though his son is gay, he still loves him, and always will.
Anar’s dad: I love my dead gay son!
Convinced the murders are for the greater good, Jean urges Tomassian to target Quinlan next
He refuses, so they complain about doing nothing in the face of injustice, revealing they witnessed their mother's abuse toward their father as a young boy, causing their constant moving around to avoid her
Relenting, Tomassian gives him an ultimatum: give up violence and live a normal life with him, or lose him forever. Jean agrees and they reconcile with a kiss
The next day, Spinelli tells Tomassisn he suspects Jean of murdering the jocks and Armbruster, believing Anar and Santiaco’s rumor to be proof along with the prank at Chloé’s party
Tomassian, urged on by Armbruster’s ghost, confesses that he forged the note to humiliate Spinelli, who runs off in tears
Guidance counselor Alonzo Grotke holds a televised therapy assembly
He urges everyone to reveal their fears and insecurities, and so far, every student is coming out, confessing every anxiety and doubt, until Austin Boulet admits to s*icidal thoughts, explaining that it’s like being in a tiny lifeboat with everyone pushing to make room. And if he makes one mistake, he’s dead weight and needs to go
Quinlan mocks him and whips the students into a frenzy, causing Boulet to run away in tears
Tomassian lashes out and blurts out a confession — "they didn't kill themselves! I killed them!" — but everyone laughs mockingly, believing he is only desperate for attention. Shortly after, Boulet tries to kill himself by overdosing in the bathroom, while Quinlan taunts him in his subconscious
Tomassian is able to stop Boulet in time and holds him in his arms so he doesn’t go for the pills again
Moments later, Jean walks in and, believing Tomassian is cheating in him, drags him out of the bathroom and tries to persuade him one again to kill Quinlan. Realizing how unstable he is, Tomassian breaks up with him
Using old photos of him and Spinelli, Jean blackmails Quinlan into making the student body sign a petition to get a band to play at the school and promote s*icide prevention
Spinelli, believing he doesn’t have much to live for due to his dysfunctional home life with his chauvinistic father, constantly drunk mother, and losing his only friend jumps off a bridge, but he survives
While playing a round of croquet with Boulet, Quinlan approaches with a clipboard and explains to Tomassian how it was Jean’s idea to get him to sign
When he doesn’t, he just forges his name like he did with Spinelli’s, and tells Tomassian that he jumped off the bridge
Tomassian rushes to the hospital, taunted by the ghosts of Anar, Santiaco, and Armbruster. His parents meet him there and tearfully show a s*icide note that he supposedly wrote
But when Tomassian quickly realizes that Jean wrote it, he rushes home, where Jean breaks in. As he barricades himself in the closet, they reveal that the petition, signed by every student, is actually a mass s*icide note — along with their plans to blow up the pep rally and make it look like a mass s*icide, using his uncle’s demolition expertise to devise the plan
Jean wants Tomassian to be a part of their plan, and isn’t taking ‘no’ for an answer. They break open the closet to find Tomassian dangling from a noose. Grief-stricken, they leave to complete their plan
Tomassian, having faked his s*icide, races to stop Jean. He confronts him in the boiler room, but in their struggle, Jean is shot. Unable to disarm the detonator, Tomassian takes it to the empty football field, out of range to detonate the bombs as he figures this is a fitting punishment
Jean convinces him to let him take the detonator instead. Before he runs away from the blast zone, Tomassian kisses him. The bomb explodes, killing Jean alone
Returning to school, Tomassian takes the silver ring from Quinlan, kisses him on the lips, and ends the era of social ridicule

Thanks for the tags @fatalfangirl, @captain-aralias, @artsyunderstudy, @cutestkilla, @orange-peony, @ivelovedhimthroughworse, @bookish-bogwitch & @you-remind-me-of-the-babe 😍 loved reading your words this morning.
Some bonus-COBB content after the break: an alternate version of their morning after as shared in my latest chapter.
Baz POV
Then he’s standing and wrapping me in his arms, nuzzling at the side of my face, pressing a kiss to my temple. “Did you sleep well?”
“Perfectly.” I’m a puddle of emotions and I cling to him like I might sink into the floor. “Thanks for the goat.”
“Told you I liked them.”
We hold each other: bare chest to bare chest and I’m itching to make light of this. To point out my earlier lapse into puberty and how, back at Watford, it was my good luck to have a voice change over summer and Simon’s poor luck to suffer the indignity of a cracking voice in front of me, a boy who never let mistakes go unnoticed.
(How can the past stay buried when we have so much of it?)
Simon breaks the silence. “Would you like some coffee?”
“Tea, if you have it.”
With one last squeeze, he releases me with a brief peck to my lips. “I’ve Earl Grey but it’s old, unfortunately.” He walks to the kitchen and I follow. “Nico brought it the last time he visited, which was, admittedly, awhile ago. I’ve converted to coffee.”
“So American,” I tease.
He shrugs as he searches his pantry. “I always liked it, and the tea’s never the same here.” He locates the box with an, “Ah hah!”
“Do you miss it?”
Pulling a kettle from the counter to fill under his tap, he looks over his shoulder. “England?” He turns back to his task. “I suppose I miss some of it, but I’ve grown to like Austin. It’s sunny, the people are friendly, and, god, the food.” He sets the kettle on his stove, turning around to lean against the counter. “And it’s not like I’ve family there or anything.”
“You’ve got Natasha and Malcolm.”
His smile misses the top half of his face. “Yeah, but it’s not the same.”
I roll my eyes. “I swear, there were times after the band split where I thought they might side with you in the divorce.”
“They’re your family.”
“That doesn’t mean they don’t still love you. Or that they don’t see your side. Or that I’m without fault.” I cross my arms over my chest. “You’re the one who dropped off the planet and moved to another continent.”
“I was trying to give you space.”
“I didn’t ask for space, Simon. Or, if I was, I wasn’t asking for you to slink off to America.”
He scrubs a hand through his hair. “Then what were you asking for?”
“I don’t know.” I hug myself tighter. “I didn’t know then and I don’t really know now. I think I just wanted to hurt you the way you hurt me.”
“Yeah, well,” he huffs a dismissive laugh, “mission accomplished. You always were good at pinpointing the best place to stick a knife.”
My fingers twitch. “Did you send that tweet?”
His eyes snap to mine. “You’re not seriously asking that.”
“Then who did?”
The kettle whistles behind us. Simon turns to pull it off its burner, dropping it onto a cool one with a loud clunk that makes me jump. With a sigh, he makes my tea, one cream, one sugar. Just the way I like it.
“I’m sorry,” I tell his back.
His head nods but he doesn’t face me, his arms brace the counter on either side of my tea. Finally, he turns around and hands me the mug he’s made up.
“I’m sorry,” I say again, but this time he shakes his head.
“I didn’t–”
“You don’t have to–”
“--send that tweet.”
“--tell me if you don’t want.”
I decided: FUCK THIS ANGST lol and gave them a little honeymoon instead. It didn’t feel right for them to fight about this. Maybe it’s unrealistic to some people, but I just wholly believe that they’re older, more mature, and have lived ten years soaking in regret. They want this to work, desperately. Not that they don’t still have things to fix, but it’s more their own personal guilt, rather than holding onto past grudges.
Ooh also I managed to get a photo of Mr. Face’s Eat Me shirt:

Thank you @thatonemoviefan for the tag💜
💙If you get this, answer with ten random facts about yourself, and send it to the last 7 blogs in your notifications. Anonymously or not! Let's get to know the person behind the blog 💙
♡ I have a female orange tabby (they're super rare) her name is Baby like Baby from dirty dancing and I have recently adopted a dog, her name is Earth and she's a Malamute Heeler mix.
♡ I run my own business I make jewelry and sell crystals that's just part time though I'm a teacher full time.
♡ My Grandma has influenced my love for so many things, she's given me my love for gardening, cooking, musicals, and most importantly my love for Elvis.
♡ When I was younger probably around 6 my dad convinced me that he was spiderman. He would put on the spiderman suit and my mum would wake me up and some how he managed to dangle himself from my ceiling all while shooting "webs". He had me convinced that he was spiderman till I was 12 that's when I found the Spidey suit under the bed with the fake web stuff. So I hold spiderman near and dear to my heart💓
♡ I have known my bestfriend for 5 years and man were we trouble together when we met. We are both convinced that we are soulmates (platonic of course)
♡ I'm a hardcore dramione Stan. Now before you come for me in the comments about them having nothing in common and yada yada yada... I love a good enemies to lovers, both draco and Hermione are incredibly snobby, stubborn, bookish and opinionated. I love a good enemies to lovers saviour complex slow burn and I get that from my dramione 💜 that being said I do not condone or support any abusive behavior or relationship whatsoever. As someone who's been in one I would not read anything about it.
♡ I love playing pokemon go its on of my favorite games to play aside from fallout 4 , basically I'm a self proclaimed gamer (not really) I just enjoy playing video games. Here's my Trainer code for pokemon go in case yall wanna play with me :) : 8316 3942 1145
♡ I love holidays I am all in for that crap, weather it be Christmas, Halloween, st Patty's ect ect I love to celebrate (this is me telling you I'm a extrovert and I like to party)
♡ I'm Metis! Those of you that are Canadian will know what that means I don't know if other countries have the same culture surrounding native people like Canadians do. Anyways I'm Metis which means im half native, my mum is Lakota Sioux indigenous and my dad is Ukrainian ( he's 1st gen Canadian)
♡ i really really really really like spaghetti is my favorite food aside from curry :)

Update 10/14/22
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and have decided to slowly incorporate other fandoms that I’m a part of into this blog. I know that so far, I’ve only really had this blog centered around ab!elvis, austin, & elvis and in no way am I departing from that love (which is still as potent as it was when I saw the elvis 2022 movie in theaters).
I simply want to let everyone know about it. I hope it doesn’t cause unfollows but I can’t really control that and in the end I want to be myself. This might include writing for other fandoms, too! Such fandoms include: lotr and k-pop, and maybe some bookish content like ACOTAR. There’s likely others that will be added. All of this is additional to the ab!elvis, austin butler, and Elvis fandom :)
All of that said, I love you all dearly and hope your day/night is going well,
Sapphire <3
