“the average taz balance character has cast 3 zones of truth” factoid is actually just statistical error. the average ipre agent casts 0 zone of truths. Personal Pan Pizza lover Merle, i choose joy, Highchurch is an outlier adn should not have been counted

sometimes u just have to think about how gwen is thee it girl in camelot 😌 favoured heavily by morgana, courted by arthur and then became queen (not to mention that arthur was willing to forsake his entire kingdom just to be with her), lancelot loved her at first sight and he carried that flame of his affection until he died, gwaine stopped in the middle of the street to flirt with her, leon basically goes and shoots his shot while arthur’s dying, merlin’s willing to disguise himself AND die for her at any turn… nobody does it like thee babygirl ever <3

It's December 7th 2024. You're in Dragonsteel 2024, finally holding in your hands a copy of the anticipated release of the convention: Knights of Wind and Truth.
You open the book, and find out that it's only kalmoash smut. in the length of 400k+ words.
the fight scene that Brandon said was the "best action sequence he ever wrote"? that's the only break from the smut, where kalmoash kill Odium with the power of gay.
You shed a tear, this is everything you ever dreamed of.

Imagining deity!Nico blessing Hazel’s children with something so tragically beautiful. Something like:
“You will meet many enemies, you will face hardships and challenge, you will know anguish and you will know despair, in which you might be lost.
But you will too know hope. You will learn strength. You will see the goodness in life. For every enemy that you make, you shall earn a friend. You might be lost, but you would always have a place to return.
The path you walk on isn’t just filled with happiness, nor sorrow. I hope that you will have the resilience it needs to keep going. No matter how dark, hopeless, horrifying it is, you will have the courage to fight. And be it in darkness or the depths of despair, you will find your way in the hands of those around you.”

One of my favorite things that happened during my last mage Hawke playthrough was during the final battle against Meredith. Everything's going well. We're kicking her ass, she's got just this much health left, we're so close... but then everyone gets stunned dizzy.
Hawke is stumbling around all confused, seeing stars. The rest of his companions are stunned. I'm annoyed because I just want to end this fight. Don't know how or who did it, probably Meredith, but the situation's dire.
Meredith's standing by herself at the center of the Gallows, shouting nonsense and smugly believing the Maker's going to come down and make her his new bride after she murdered a bunch of innocent people.
Truly, this is the part of the story where Varric says they all thought hope was lost, that in the end, Meredith would pull a fast one on us and claim victory...
Until the REAL hero of dragon age 2 comes storming at her. I don't know why Carver was the only one to not be affected, but he literally jumped out of no where and just started bashing Meredith with his sword while everyone else was too dizzy to do anything until she was dead and the cutscene played.
"Hawke defeated Meredith-" LIES, VARRIC. I know the truth! I was there! Hawke didn't do shit! Carver Hawke was the main character all along! He got shit done and Varric gave Hawke all the credit!
I bring this up because last night I finished my warrior Hawke run and when we got to the fight with Meredith, I kind of hoped the same thing would happen where Bethany dashed in all heroic and got the killing blow on Meredith.
She did not.
She got squished by a statue.
But it's fine, Bethany Hawke was the true main character in my heart.

Macdennis is Schrödinger's canon. It is both canon and not canon depending on how this all ends and since we are not at the end, it is both.
If it ended with 5, they banged as Hugh Honey and Vic Vinegar, definitely absolutely. But then we went to 6, so no they actually didn’t. If it ended with 6, then Maureen declared Mac Dennis’ boytoy and they banged right after he screamed divorce, definitely absolutely. But then we went to 7, so no they actually didn’t.
…
If it ended with 15, they were banging during quarantine, definitely absolutely. But since 16 is on the horizon, no they actually weren’t. But if they don’t canon in 16, they banged on that inflatable couch until it popped, definitely absolutely. But if 17 is on the horizon then no they didn’t. But if they don’t canon in —
There’s never anything in the crate until there’s something in the crate.

tangent time. i genuinely don't think there are Bad People and i think assigning a touhou as a Bad Person is a moral trap. many touhous - arguably, almost every touhou - is an antagonist; a number of touhous are, by the technical definition, villains; but a Bad Person?
what measure is a bad person, in this context? is reimu evil for enforcing an inherently unnatural status quo that she knows, for a fact, sometimes kills people? you could easily make the argument that she is. but we accept that gensokyo exists as part of the default, and therefore we find ourselves framing things against it.
is seiga a Bad Person? is there no possible reframing of the situation in which she could be a protagonist? is the rebellious seija evil, for defying a world she sees as incorrect? are the lunarians evil? are the residents of the animal realm evil? are the residents of hell evil? is there truly a character you can so callously condemn with the title of "Bad Person"?
is an eagle evil for snatching a newborn mouse from the hole it came from? is a snake evil for poisoning a child that disturbed its home? is there any true good or evil in a world built of circumstances?
